Good evening and welcome to the BBC News at 6. | :01:48. | :02:11.
We will have the latest from Washington in a moment. | :02:12. | :02:29.
Police in Malaysia have arrested a 28 year old woman in connection | :02:30. | :02:32.
with the suspected poisoning of the half brother | :02:33. | :02:34.
Kim Jong-Nam died yesterday after he was attacked | :02:35. | :02:37.
The 45 year old had been critical of his half-brother's regime | :02:38. | :02:41.
and was living in exile after being passed over | :02:42. | :02:43.
Karishma Vaswani reports from Kuala Lumpur. | :02:44. | :02:46.
Is this one of the female assassins who carried out an audacious | :02:47. | :02:49.
Malaysian police say a Vietnamese woman has been detained as part | :02:50. | :02:56.
They want to find out what happened to this man. The older half brother | :02:57. | :03:11.
of the Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, who is believed to have been killed. | :03:12. | :03:15.
Details of alleged assassination are murky. | :03:16. | :03:22.
What we do know is that between nine and ten o'clock | :03:23. | :03:24.
in the morning on Monday, a man believed to be Kim Jong-nam | :03:25. | :03:27.
was attacked in this crowded, busy airport. | :03:28. | :03:30.
Police say he was accosted by at least one woman | :03:31. | :03:32.
who covered his face with a cloth filled with some sort | :03:33. | :03:35.
After that, he is thought to have walked over to that information | :03:36. | :03:48.
One man who might have wanted Kim Jong-nam dead is the North Korean | :03:49. | :03:56.
leader. Today Kim Jong-un took part in a Valley to honour what would | :03:57. | :03:59.
have been his father's 75th birthday -- rally. Experts say is in the | :04:00. | :04:05.
middle of a surge to get rid of anyone who is a threat to his power, | :04:06. | :04:10.
no one is safe, but even his close uncle who was branded a traitor for | :04:11. | :04:16.
all ages and executed in 2013. In the small world of politics here | :04:17. | :04:19.
maybe it doesn't help him to have him dead, but nevertheless it is a | :04:20. | :04:23.
telling reflection on the regime that in 2017 you are still executing | :04:24. | :04:28.
possible rival members of the Royal family. It is a habit which England | :04:29. | :04:35.
got out of after the Judas. -- chewed. | :04:36. | :04:36.
South Korea insists that the man who died was Kim Jong-nam, | :04:37. | :04:43.
brutally murdered on the orders of the North Korean regime. | :04:44. | :04:45.
TRANSLATION: The government is certainly judging | :04:46. | :04:47.
that the murdered person is Kim Jong-nam. | :04:48. | :04:49.
Since this case is still being investigated we should wait | :04:50. | :04:51.
for details until the Malaysian government makes an announcement. | :04:52. | :05:01.
The focus of the investigation will now move to a hospital | :05:02. | :05:11.
where a post mortem is being carried out on the body of the man | :05:12. | :05:14.
Malaysia says it can't confirm his identity or the cause | :05:15. | :05:18.
of death until the postmortem is released, which may not | :05:19. | :05:20.
Donald Trump has attacked the US intelligence agencies | :05:21. | :05:23.
and the American media over claims that a number of his campaign team | :05:24. | :05:26.
were in contact with Russian officials in the run up to last | :05:27. | :05:29.
He called it a real scandal that classified information was illegally | :05:30. | :05:33.
given out to the media like candy, he said. | :05:34. | :05:35.
Yesterday the President's National security advisor resigned over his | :05:36. | :05:38.
From Washington here's our North America Editor Jon Sopel. | :05:39. | :05:45.
These are not the best of times, not yet for weeks in, his travel ban has | :05:46. | :05:52.
been blocked and his national security adviser has been fired, and | :05:53. | :05:55.
the questions about his links with Russia are piling up. And when the | :05:56. | :06:00.
president is angry, the play Seve Benson is on twitter and blow -- the | :06:01. | :06:10.
place he vents is on sweater and boy did he let it go this morning. | :06:11. | :06:20.
but on Capitol Hill there is one central concern amongst senior | :06:21. | :06:34.
Republicans and Democrats, it is the administration's links to the | :06:35. | :06:40.
Russian government. The base issue is getting to the bottom of what the | :06:41. | :06:46.
Russian interference was and what the relationship was with associates | :06:47. | :06:51.
of the Trump effort and that is the big elephant in the room that has | :06:52. | :06:54.
got to be dealt with in the most appropriate way. American need to | :06:55. | :07:00.
understand and we need to understand and it needs to be dealt with | :07:01. | :07:04.
quickly. In the midst of so much turmoil, friendly face at the White | :07:05. | :07:08.
House, the Israeli Prime Minister. At their news Conference you would | :07:09. | :07:12.
not have guessed that it was the president who demanded general | :07:13. | :07:18.
Flynn's resignation. Papers are being late, this is criminal action, | :07:19. | :07:22.
criminal act, and it has been going on for a long time -- being leaked. | :07:23. | :07:28.
Before me. But now it is really going on and people are trying to | :07:29. | :07:31.
cover up for a terrible loss that the Democrats had under Hillary | :07:32. | :07:37.
Clinton. I think it's very unfair what's happened to general flame and | :07:38. | :07:42.
the way he was treated at the documents and papers that were | :07:43. | :07:47.
illegally, I stress that, in legally leaked, very very unfair. And then | :07:48. | :07:52.
on to the Middle East and its key policy question, did America still | :07:53. | :07:57.
support a two state solution? I'm looking at two state and one state | :07:58. | :08:00.
and I like the one that both art is like. I'm very happy with the one | :08:01. | :08:07.
that both parties like. I believe the great opportunity for peace | :08:08. | :08:15.
comes from a regional approach, from involving our new-found Arab | :08:16. | :08:20.
partners in their pursuit of a broader peace and peace with the | :08:21. | :08:26.
Palestinians and I greatly look forward to discussing this in detail | :08:27. | :08:31.
with you, Mr President, because I think that if we work together we | :08:32. | :08:37.
have a shot. There seems to be more common ground between these two men | :08:38. | :08:41.
than the president is enjoying that some of his Republican colleagues. | :08:42. | :08:43.
How much pressure is president from under when it comes to Russia? -- | :08:44. | :08:56.
President Trump. It is hard to avoid the conclusion that this is an | :08:57. | :09:00.
administration that is reeling. Donald Trump fan campaigning easy | :09:01. | :09:03.
but he is finding governing a good deal more difficult -- found | :09:04. | :09:09.
campaigning easy. The White House is understaffed, and there seems to be | :09:10. | :09:11.
rival factions within the White House. Donald Trump was complaining | :09:12. | :09:16.
about the hostility he is facing from the media, from some of the | :09:17. | :09:19.
government agencies that he says I'm leaking against him. You now have | :09:20. | :09:23.
Republicans who feel there needs to be an investigation to clear the air | :09:24. | :09:28.
over links with Russia. It is all very difficult. One other thing, you | :09:29. | :09:33.
might remember there was the controversy about the travel ban. | :09:34. | :09:37.
Donald Trump promised last week that we would see a revised executive | :09:38. | :09:41.
order on Monday or Tuesday of this week. It is now Wednesday and we | :09:42. | :09:47.
have heard nothing about it. And it seems that work at the White House | :09:48. | :09:51.
just isn't getting done. Thanks for joining us. As you saw Donald Trump | :09:52. | :10:02.
is holding talks with the Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu. | :10:03. | :10:04.
Our Middle East Editor Jeremy Bowen is here. | :10:05. | :10:07.
What did you make of it? They hinted there could be a wider Middle East | :10:08. | :10:16.
arrangement because Benjamin Netanyahu said he has new allies, | :10:17. | :10:21.
who shared the suspicions of Iran, that is one thing they talked about | :10:22. | :10:25.
and emphasise, the hub for a regional pact. -- the hope. How does | :10:26. | :10:33.
this affect the relationship with the Palestinians? Benjamin Netanyahu | :10:34. | :10:38.
was hoping for a blank cheque am more or less, from Donald Trump, to | :10:39. | :10:41.
do what they want, but they haven't got what they want. They had said | :10:42. | :10:46.
they have got to make concessions. But certainly Benjamin Netanyahu is | :10:47. | :10:51.
hoping this will be a more fruitful relationship than he ever had with | :10:52. | :10:57.
President Obama and even with Bill Clinton when he was first Prime | :10:58. | :11:02.
Minister. This is about a new start with these countries, but as ever | :11:03. | :11:06.
with the Middle East it will be very complex and as for a two state or | :11:07. | :11:10.
one state solution, some people think the most likely solution is no | :11:11. | :11:13.
solution at all. Thanks for joining us. | :11:14. | :11:17.
They've sacrificed their pensions to save their jobs. | :11:18. | :11:19.
Thousands of Tata steelworkers in the UK have agreed to move | :11:20. | :11:21.
from a final salary pension to a less generous scheme | :11:22. | :11:24.
in return for a ?1 billion investment in the company | :11:25. | :11:26.
Unions called it a tough decision but the "only viable way" | :11:27. | :11:30.
From Port Talbot, here's our Wales Correspondent Sian Lloyd. | :11:31. | :11:36.
You've got to play it safe now and again. | :11:37. | :11:42.
Not taking any risks in this game but Nigel and Scott Boden say | :11:43. | :11:44.
they are taking a chance on the future. | :11:45. | :11:48.
The father and son are both steel workers at Tata's Port Talbot | :11:49. | :11:51.
plant and voted to accept the company's proposals. | :11:52. | :11:55.
Even though Nigel, who has put in 38 years, now thinks he will need | :11:56. | :11:58.
to work longer before he can afford to retire. | :11:59. | :12:00.
The ballot isn't so much about the pension itself. | :12:01. | :12:06.
It's about the future investment, it's about the new pension fund. | :12:07. | :12:09.
I think voting yes is saying we want a job. | :12:10. | :12:19.
It gives us all a better chance to have a job for the future, | :12:20. | :12:24.
It's expected that the company will now move swiftly to replace | :12:25. | :12:29.
the old British steel pension with a proposed less generous | :12:30. | :12:32.
scheme, and in return, provided the company continues | :12:33. | :12:34.
to return a profit, Tata promises to invest ?1 billion | :12:35. | :12:37.
To maintain the two blast furnaces at Port Talbot for at least five | :12:38. | :12:44.
years, and will try to avoid compulsory redundancies | :12:45. | :12:45.
Trade union representatives had somewhat reluctantly recommended | :12:46. | :12:51.
that their members should accept this deal. | :12:52. | :12:53.
I like to think this is a step in the right direction. | :12:54. | :12:56.
I think the workforce understands that. | :12:57. | :12:59.
It's been a painful process, a lot of scars need to heal | :13:00. | :13:06.
and a lot of bridges need to be built going forward. | :13:07. | :13:09.
It's been a turbulent year for workers here | :13:10. | :13:11.
The uncertainty during that time has led to a lack of trust. | :13:12. | :13:20.
Workers say they are making sacrifices for the future | :13:21. | :13:22.
Their new pension arrangements will need to be approved | :13:23. | :13:26.
Today's ballot result is not the end of the line. | :13:27. | :13:34.
But there's now an expectation from steelworkers that Tata must | :13:35. | :13:37.
Wages grew faster than the rate of inflation at the end of 2016, | :13:38. | :13:45.
Between October and December wages grew by 2.6%. | :13:46. | :13:51.
But that was slower than the previous few months, | :13:52. | :13:54.
leading some analysts to suggest that households could face | :13:55. | :13:56.
a "squeeze" on spending later this year. | :13:57. | :13:59.
The figures also show another fall in unemployment and that a record | :14:00. | :14:02.
number of people in the UK are now in work. | :14:03. | :14:08.
The Prime Minister has been in Cumbria today - | :14:09. | :14:10.
ahead of next week's by-election in Copeland. | :14:11. | :14:13.
Theresa May's visit is being seen as an extraordinary move - | :14:14. | :14:16.
not least because the seat has been held by Labour for | :14:17. | :14:18.
We sent our political correspondent Ben Wright to talk | :14:19. | :14:22.
The Tories election machine is on the move, with a visit that could | :14:23. | :14:34.
spell trouble for Labour. Theresa May's move to cope and, a labour | :14:35. | :14:37.
held seat for over eight years proves the Prime Minister feels the | :14:38. | :14:42.
Conservatives can win next week, and she tried to assure voters that the | :14:43. | :14:45.
nuclear power station would be built. It is the Conservatives who | :14:46. | :14:50.
are committed to the nuclear industry in the UK and we will be | :14:51. | :14:54.
saying... We have agreed the first new-build in a generation here in | :14:55. | :14:59.
the United Kingdom and we recognise and our candidate here has made very | :15:00. | :15:03.
clear, to me, the importance of the site and the nuclear industry. This | :15:04. | :15:09.
can bring constituency relies on the nuclear industry for jobs, | :15:10. | :15:12.
Sellafield is already here, that is one reason Labour might struggle to | :15:13. | :15:16.
keep this seat. Because Jeremy Corbyn has spent his career sounding | :15:17. | :15:23.
pretty cool about nuclear power. So Labour's campaign focuses on the | :15:24. | :15:27.
local NHS. We are having the threat of vital services being taken away | :15:28. | :15:31.
from our hospital, relocated into Carlisle, 40 miles away, and it is | :15:32. | :15:37.
no good. Is Jeremy Corbyn a hindrance to your campaign, you say | :15:38. | :15:42.
muddled -- he has a muddled approach to the nuclear industry? I'm behind | :15:43. | :15:48.
the nuclear industry, no ifs and buts. Jeremy Corbyn says that he | :15:49. | :15:52.
backs the new plant and he needs to. I don't think he is pro-nuclear. In | :15:53. | :15:56.
spite of everything he says. This is our livelihood. It will come down to | :15:57. | :16:02.
the power station. Both parties are for it. Does the nuclear issue | :16:03. | :16:10.
showed everyone's politics? Yes, especially the way it is at the | :16:11. | :16:13.
moment, it is bothering people, but it is the life and soul of the | :16:14. | :16:18.
place. It is jobs. Labour's Daugherty of 2500 could be squeezed | :16:19. | :16:21.
by smaller parties, as well -- majority. Labour have moved to the | :16:22. | :16:26.
left and the Tories have moved to the right and there is a substantial | :16:27. | :16:30.
vote in the middle for people who are looking for a pragmatic MP who | :16:31. | :16:34.
talks about the real world. And it is a seat that voted strongly for | :16:35. | :16:40.
Brexit. We would abolish HS2 as it will not benefit this area and we | :16:41. | :16:43.
will press to leave the EU because the sooner we do we will have more | :16:44. | :16:49.
money for investment locally. This in situ a swathe of the Lake | :16:50. | :16:53.
District and there is one party with a very distinctive nuclear message | :16:54. | :16:59.
-- this constituency. We think it is time to try to bring other | :17:00. | :17:03.
businesses to Copeland and to bring something which will benefit | :17:04. | :17:07.
everyone here. Theresa May's visit is a confident if risky move, she is | :17:08. | :17:11.
staking her name on a whim, but that would be a coup for the | :17:12. | :17:14.
Conservatives because a governing party has not gained a Parliamentary | :17:15. | :17:21.
seat in a by-election since 1982. For Labour this will be seen as a | :17:22. | :17:24.
test of the leadership and message, in a part of northern England that | :17:25. | :17:26.
has long been seen as its heartland. And here is the full list | :17:27. | :17:31.
of candidates standing in the Copeland by-election, | :17:32. | :17:35.
which takes place a week tomorrow. You can also find out more | :17:36. | :17:37.
by visiting the BBC News website. After his National Security advisor | :17:38. | :17:44.

who repeatedly head the ball during their career | :18:28. | :18:30.
could be more prone That's according a new study | :18:31. | :18:31.
which looked at the brains of six former players all known | :18:32. | :18:35.
for their skill at heading the ball. They all developed dementia in later | :18:36. | :18:40.
life before they died. The Football Association has | :18:41. | :18:42.
welcomed the research. Our Health Editor Hugh Pym has been | :18:43. | :18:45.
looking at their findings. Jeff Astle's heading ability was | :18:46. | :18:59.
well-known but he could not have guessed the long-term consequences. | :19:00. | :19:04.
The West Brom footballer develops dementia and died at the age of 59. | :19:05. | :19:10.
A coroner ruled in 2002 that he had an industrial disease brought on by | :19:11. | :19:15.
heading the ball. Since then, his family have campaigned for more | :19:16. | :19:19.
research on the impact of heading heavy, often waterlogged footballs | :19:20. | :19:24.
on previous generations of players. Jeff's job killed him. We knew the | :19:25. | :19:32.
danger. Why else would a man, physically fit, only 55, suddenly, | :19:33. | :19:40.
overnight virtually, it came on so rapidly, be diagnosed with dementia? | :19:41. | :19:45.
His daughter is angry that 15 years on, the football authorities have | :19:46. | :19:48.
not started a conference of research programme. For too long it has been | :19:49. | :19:52.
about protecting the product of football and what it should be doing | :19:53. | :19:55.
is protecting players. I think they are terrified that the results come | :19:56. | :20:00.
out and it is shown the football could be a killer. Some former | :20:01. | :20:05.
players in England and Scotland agree that more needs to be done. I | :20:06. | :20:10.
just think of that there is research needing done. I years gone by, the | :20:11. | :20:16.
balls were different, they were a lot heavier, leather balls, and it | :20:17. | :20:20.
really picked up a lot of weight when they were wet. This definitely | :20:21. | :20:24.
had an effect on players. The new study examined the brains of six | :20:25. | :20:27.
former players who had developed dementia, seen here in these images. | :20:28. | :20:34.
Four had chronic traumatic endcap of off the bit, also seen in former | :20:35. | :20:37.
boxers. The Football Association, based here in Wembley, says that it | :20:38. | :20:43.
takes concerns about head injuries very seriously and is committed to | :20:44. | :20:46.
supporting further research, which has to be seen to be independent, | :20:47. | :20:50.
robust and thorough. A spokesperson acknowledged it would be several | :20:51. | :20:52.
months before that process got underway. So what does it mean for | :20:53. | :20:58.
the current generation of players and is it safe for children to head | :20:59. | :21:02.
the ball? The authors of the study make it clear that they are not | :21:03. | :21:07.
drawing any conclusions. I think the risks of playing football are quite | :21:08. | :21:11.
low and we need to engage with more research to find outweighs of making | :21:12. | :21:15.
the game safer. Overall, we think playing football is a safe thing to | :21:16. | :21:19.
do. But with children under 11 in the United States barred from | :21:20. | :21:24.
heading the ball in practice, there is clearly a unresolved debate about | :21:25. | :21:28.
modern football and head injuries. You pay, BBC News. -- UPM, BBC News. | :21:29. | :21:36.

Church of England bishops are currently locked in heated | :22:12. | :22:13.
debate over the issue of same sex marriage. | :22:14. | :22:16.
The Church's ruling body - known as the General Synod - | :22:17. | :22:22.
will vote this evening on a report by bishops, which calls | :22:23. | :22:25.
for the Church to "welcome and support" gay people | :22:26. | :22:27.
but not to change its opposition to same-sex marriage. | :22:28. | :22:29.
That's despite calls for the Church to modernise. | :22:30. | :22:31.
Our religious affairs correspondent Martin Bashir reports. | :22:32. | :22:33.
# I once was lost but now am found #. | :22:34. | :22:42.
Amazing Grace, sung by protesters, sought by the House of Bishops. | :22:43. | :22:46.
The Synod began debating their report on same-sex marriage | :22:47. | :22:48.
A report that says marriage in church should remain the lifelong | :22:49. | :22:56.
We're talking here about the national church being massively | :22:57. | :23:01.
out of step with people and this isn't just about saying that we have | :23:02. | :23:05.
to follow what society is doing and what society is saying, | :23:06. | :23:07.
this is about saying that actually where people perceive love | :23:08. | :23:12.
in relationships between one another, can the Church of England | :23:13. | :23:14.
simply not recognise that God is present in those things? | :23:15. | :23:17.
Bishops tried early to offer words of healing to those | :23:18. | :23:19.
I do want to apologise to those members of Synod | :23:20. | :23:28.
who found our report difficult, who didn't recognise themselves | :23:29. | :23:32.
than we actually delivered, and for the tone of the report. | :23:33. | :23:38.
So on behalf of the house and without being trite | :23:39. | :23:41.
But the apology was largely ignored as lesbian and gay Christians | :23:42. | :23:48.
took the opportunity to ventilate their frustration. | :23:49. | :23:54.
If we are heard as lacking in love, our ability to proclaim the God | :23:55. | :23:58.
of love, as revealed in Christ Jesus, | :23:59. | :23:59.
Well, trust me, outside of these walls we are being heard | :24:00. | :24:07.
But the bishops are adamant that they have listened | :24:08. | :24:10.
While I know it disappoints some, its purpose was not to please | :24:11. | :24:19.
everyone, but rather to give a steer to the way we order our | :24:20. | :24:23.
Our aim must be to obey the word of the father about his son. | :24:24. | :24:29.
"This is my beloved son, listen to him." | :24:30. | :24:30.
And you join us now after something like 90 minutes of impassioned and | :24:31. | :24:49.
occasionally painful debate in the assembly hall here at church house | :24:50. | :24:54.
in London. Protesters have also been protesting against the Bishop's | :24:55. | :24:57.
report throughout the day. We are also told by the chairman of the | :24:58. | :25:01.
debates tonight that at 6:45 BME will call for a vote. When the Synod | :25:02. | :25:08.
will decide to either affirm or reject the Bishop's report. And of | :25:09. | :25:11.
course we will bring that to you this evening in the BBC's ten | :25:12. | :25:20.

She's the Fifa Player of the Year and a World Cup winner. | :25:23. | :25:24.
Now the 34-year-old American Carli Lloyd will leave | :25:25. | :25:26.
It's a signing which they hope will boost their chances as City | :25:27. | :25:31.
attempt to defend their title of the FA Women's Super League. | :25:32. | :25:33.
Our sports correspondent Jo Currie has been to meet her. | :25:34. | :25:37.
From the halfway line, Carli Lloyd won the USA | :25:38. | :25:39.
the World Cup and herself a place in history. | :25:40. | :25:41.
And now the world's greatest player is coming to England. | :25:42. | :25:48.
Lloyd has won everything there is to win on the international | :25:49. | :25:51.
stage so what does Manchester City have to offer? | :25:52. | :25:53.
That's the biggest thing, I'm always looking to improve my game, | :25:54. | :25:57.
always looking for the next challenge, the next big thing, | :25:58. | :26:04.
and playing the Champions League, hopefully win an FA Cup, | :26:05. | :26:06.
Lloyd is in a league of her own, guiding the US to World Cup success | :26:07. | :26:11.
A global superstar comfortable sharing the stage with Ronaldo | :26:12. | :26:14.
as she was voted World Player of the Year, twice. | :26:15. | :26:18.
It's just a unique opportunity to be able to come here and it's | :26:19. | :26:21.
generated a lot of news, I think, for women's soccer. | :26:22. | :26:29.
I'm just looking really forward to it and I think it's a great | :26:30. | :26:32.
league and I just want to continue to help to promote women's soccer | :26:33. | :26:35.
and do anything I can to make things better across the globe. | :26:36. | :26:38.
City's women have only been in the top flight for three seasons | :26:39. | :26:41.
but they are already leading the way on and off the field. | :26:42. | :26:44.
The club's ethos is to treat the men's and women's | :26:45. | :26:46.
They have access to the same world-class facilities and coaching | :26:47. | :26:50.
staff and even built the women their own stadium. | :26:51. | :26:52.
This is what Manchester City is all about. | :26:53. | :26:57.
Trying to continue to be successful, and I think | :26:58. | :27:06.
by attracting that sort of player, we are definitely heading | :27:07. | :27:08.
in the direction where we want to be the best team in England | :27:09. | :27:11.
but we want to be dominant in Europe as well, and to have her on board | :27:12. | :27:15.
Already the champions of England, the arrival of Lloyd will be seen | :27:16. | :27:19.
not only as a sign of City's ambition but of the growth of | :27:20. | :27:22.
Nick Miller has all the latest weather. Temperatures are edging up | :27:23. | :27:32.
today. You may have seen some sunshine in the highlands of | :27:33. | :27:35.
Scotland for part of the day. In the Midlands, it turned very wet this | :27:36. | :27:40.
afternoon. That rain will fall across Lincolnshire before clearing | :27:41. | :27:43.
into the North Sea. Heavy showers followed in parts of Wales, and so | :27:44. | :27:52.
test -- south-west England. Strong to gale force winds in the north of | :27:53. | :27:56.
Glasgow, but lighter winds in southern areas. The south could see | :27:57. | :28:00.
slow to clear fog patches tomorrow morning and maybe a touch of frost. | :28:01. | :28:04.
That will be the exception of the rule. Tomorrow for England and | :28:05. | :28:08.
Wales, barring the odd shower, loud with sunny spells, and some rain in | :28:09. | :28:13.
Northern Ireland. In Scotland, the rain in the north and west easing | :28:14. | :28:16.
with the wind. Through the afternoon, brighter breaks | :28:17. | :28:19.
appearing, wetter weather heading into Northern Ireland, fringing into | :28:20. | :28:23.
north-west England on Thursday. For the rest of England and Wales, I | :28:24. | :28:30.
suppose those early fog patches will disappear and it will feel pleasant | :28:31. | :28:35.
where the sun is coming in. They remind some fog patches are possible | :28:36. | :28:39.
on Friday morning. Not widespread appear that in mind at this stage. | :28:40. | :28:43.
Sunshine on Friday lasting longer stood down the eastern side of the | :28:44. | :28:46.
UK with cloud increasing and outbreaks of rain heading in. | :28:47. | :28:50.
Average temperature this time of year is around eight Celsius, and we | :28:51. | :28:55.
will keep the mild theme all the way through the weekend. Potentially | :28:56. | :28:58.
very mild for some of us. And the outlook for the weekend, we will | :28:59. | :29:01.
cover that in terms of its staying mild. You will not be a huge amount | :29:02. | :29:05.
of sunshine but there will be rain around, especially at the | :29:06. | :29:09.
