The police are treating the death of a woman in Belfast as suspicious.

Her body was discovered in a house in the Lenadoon area this morning.

Forensic officers have spent the day at the house in west Belfast where

the woman's body was found. Officers were called to the property around

6:25am this morning. The woman has yet to be named, but it is

understood she was 30 years old. The PSNI has revealed that a 36-year-old

man has been arrested and is being questioned. Neighbours said they

were shocked at the news and that this is generally a quiet area. The

postmortem will be carried out to establish the cause of the death,

but at this time, it is being treated as suspicious.

An entertainment law company based in the United States is planning to

create 75 jobs over the next five years at new offices in Londonderry.

SmithDeane, whose clients include the HBO TV network which makes the

Game of Thrones series, say that a minimum of eight posts will be

filled immediately. The Sinn Fein MEP Martina Anderson,

has described the killers of former Continuity IRA leader Tommy Crossan

as criminals masquerading as republicans. She was speaking at one

of a number of events held to commemorate the anniversary of the

Easter Rising, as Louise Cullen reports. The main republican parade

in Belfast made its way from the west of the city to a cemetery. The

good weather brought hundreds onto the streets to watch. The Easter

commemoration is one of the biggest event in the Republican calendar.

The Queen that her family and her government would stand alongside

Ireland went it marks the centenary of the Easter Rising in at two

years' time. Republicans honour the dead of previous conflicts, but with

the murder of a former dissident leader on Friday, it was ongoing

violence which featured in the keynote speaker's address. There is

an attempt to derail any progress in the peace and political processes.

One of these small groups took the life of Tommy Crossan in this city.

The only thing they have succeeded in doing is leaving a family

bereavement. The republican community does not want them.

Similar crowds joined the commemorations elsewhere. They heard

calls for support and for social and economic equality to be addressed.

The military ceremony in Dublin was led by the Irish president along

with in the Kenny and the Justice Minister. Thousands attended while

around 170 members of the Navy marched.

Meanwhile a man is still being questioned about the murder of Tommy

Crossan on Friday. The 26-year-old was arrested yesterday morning.

The Fire and Rescue Service have been dealing with a serious gorse

fire close to Newcastle. At its height, approximately ten acres of

land at Ballagh Bridge on Ballagh Road, were alight and the flames

were fanned by high winds. A short time ago, the blaze was said to be

under control. Well, winter storms earlier this

year have changed the shape of a number of our beaches. And as

lifeguards from the RNLI go on duty for the summer season, they're

warning people to be careful at the seaside. When the weather is good,

there is no better place to be than the beach. Keeping a watchful eye,

the RNLI lifeguards. They are back on our beaches for the first time

this year. It might be sunny today, but last winter's stormy weather has

had a big impact on our coastline. It has changed quite a bit due to

some of the dramatic weather we saw over the winter. Primarily, a lot of

high tides and powerful ways, which have changed the shape of the

beach, often creating deep channels for the water to flow which can

cause recurrence. The lifeguards are manning five beaches over the Easter

break. The sun might have disappeared for now, but last year

was one of Northern Ireland's hottest summers in recent times,

which meant thousands of people flocked here to the beach. It was

also a busy summer for the RNLI, and lifeguards had to come to the aid of

about 330 people, up 153 the year before. It is more a day for walking

the dog then taking a dip, but beach-goers said they were still

pleased the lifeguards were still here. There are a lot of kids here

during the summer. Safety is paramount. It is vitally important.

They need to be on the beach. The advice to say that truckers stay

safe is to swim between the flags and check that there are lifeguards

on duty. Onto the weather now, and what does

Easter Monday have in store Onto the weather now, and what does

for us? Good evening. It has been a gloriously sunny evening for much of

Northern Ireland. Things are changing now and we will have a lot

more cloud than the forecast as we go through the week ahead. It will

be breezy at times, but it will not be wet all the time. Another

glorious day today for Scotland and Northern Ireland. Cloudier and much

wider across parts of England and Wales, particularly the South, or

they had some torrential downpours. The cloud is feeding him towards us

and the cloud will edge in this evening on a fresh easterly breeze

and there will be a few showers around as well. I think we could see

some showers in the far south by the end of the night. It is dry and

fairly mild come at no lower than 6-8 degrees in towns and cities.

Into tomorrow, we are looking at a cloudier read your day and there

will be showers around, particularly during the morning. The North still

mainly dry. A few showers across the Republic as well, but bright spells

as well, and for much of England, Scotland and Wales, the day started

out dry. There will be some bright spots coming through but there will

be some downpours in southern areas and drifting into Wales during the

latter part of the afternoon. Some of these will be quite thundery as

temperatures rise to 19 degrees. For Northern Ireland, well, we might get

one or two showers drifting into the South later on, but the afternoon

looking largely dry, and it should brighten up as we head into the

evening. Highs of either 15 or 16 degrees. For the rest of the week,

rather cloudy and breezy and particularly damp on Wednesday.
