young girls in the 1970's The Ulster Bank is back in recovery but what | :00:25. | :00:33.
The jury delivered their verdict. I am not guilty, I haven't lied. | :00:34. | :00:38.
The Ulster Bank is back in recovery but | :00:39. | :00:40.
There is a new police crackdown on dangerous driving, tackling some of | :00:41. | :00:50.
the biggest problems, drink-driving, speed, and people using mobile | :00:51. | :00:51.
phones. And as the heatwave, continues | :00:52. | :00:54.
police are also on the look-out It's day two of the | :00:55. | :00:57.
Commonwealth Games. And just as you are getting used to | :00:58. | :01:10.
it, the heat will be moving away as rain moves from the West. I'll be | :01:11. | :01:12.
back with a full forecast. Good evening | :01:13. | :01:16.
and welcome to the programme. John Brown, | :01:17. | :01:21.
the brother of Eurovision winner and former politician Dana Rosemary | :01:22. | :01:23.
Scallon, has been cleared of all charges of indecently assaulting two | :01:24. | :01:25.
young girls in the 1970s. The jury returned | :01:26. | :01:28.
their verdicts this afternoon Innocent on all charges. 60 old John | :01:29. | :01:46.
Brown's trial lasted two and a half weeks. Today in court, he wept as | :01:47. | :01:52.
the jury read out their verdicts. Not guilty on all five counts of | :01:53. | :01:57.
indecent assault on two young girls in the 1970s. I came here an | :01:58. | :02:02.
innocent man. I will be leaving an innocent man. I want to thank my | :02:03. | :02:06.
friends and family, those that have supported me with their prayers and | :02:07. | :02:09.
support, and in particular my sister, Rosemary. I especially want | :02:10. | :02:14.
to thank my wife, Patricia, and my children. | :02:15. | :02:53.
These allegations first came to light three years ago. | :02:54. | :03:06.
vile, malicious and untrue. Through tears, she managed a few words. A | :03:07. | :03:12.
good, innocent man. This has been a complicated case, at times unclear | :03:13. | :03:18.
on the exact dates and locations the alleged assaults were supposed to | :03:19. | :03:23.
have taken place. Were they in 1970s or later? Did they happen in this | :03:24. | :03:27.
particular town, or that particular town? Was John Brown even there? The | :03:28. | :03:33.
defence said the prosecutioncase was absurd and surreal. John Brown says | :03:34. | :03:36.
that the last three weeks have been held. What sustained me was my faith | :03:37. | :03:43.
in God that through this darkness there was light. Thank you very | :03:44. | :03:45.
much. We are going to go now and get on | :03:46. | :03:58.
with our lives, blast. -- At last. He said it was time to put his | :03:59. | :04:02.
nightmare behind him. I won't be celebrating, you said, I just need | :04:03. | :04:12.
to put this nightmare behind me. A woman and her four young children | :04:13. | :04:16.
have been threatened by a gang at their home. Eight or nine people | :04:17. | :04:20.
arrived at the house at about 8pm last night. The woman, a foreign | :04:21. | :04:24.
national, was threatened and told to leave her house. Police are treating | :04:25. | :04:26.
it as a hate crime. The Ulster Bank has shown a major | :04:27. | :04:29.
improvement in its performance in It's made a profit after a big drop | :04:30. | :04:32.
in the amount of money it had to set Let's join our Economics | :04:33. | :04:37.
and Business Editor John Campbell. Well, Ulster bank is part of the | :04:38. | :04:51.
wider RBS group. It had to be bailed out during the financial crash. | :04:52. | :04:54.
Since then, it has burned through billions of pounds of taxpayer money | :04:55. | :04:58.
will stop today, it had some good news. In fact, it was so good, the | :04:59. | :05:02.
bank published its half-year results a week early will stop it actually | :05:03. | :05:14.
lost ?381 million in the first three months of last year. This year, it | :05:15. | :05:18.
turned a profit of ?55 million. You might think, why should I care one | :05:19. | :05:22.
way or another? In this case, you should care, because Ulster Bank and | :05:23. | :05:30.
RBS are still partly owned by the taxpayer. | :05:31. | :05:36.
Is this all about an improving property market? Yes, I think to a | :05:37. | :05:43.
very great degree days. Over the last year, Ulster Bank have finally | :05:44. | :05:47.
got to grips with those bad property loans. We are now in a situation | :05:48. | :05:51.
where the Irish hoppity market, for shopping centres and tower blocks, | :05:52. | :06:01.
is actually a hot market. -- Irish property market. There is some data | :06:02. | :06:05.
that the UK has regained ground, where do we fit into that? These | :06:06. | :06:11.
were the GDP figures. It was quite an important moment for the British | :06:12. | :06:16.
economy. We can see that the UK economy is now 0.2% bigger than it | :06:17. | :06:20.
was before the crash. I'm afraid in Northern Ireland we are not that | :06:21. | :06:23.
happy. Our economy is still 13% smaller than it was before the | :06:24. | :06:28.
crash. The Economist Desmond Berney says there are two main reasons for | :06:29. | :06:34.
that. There are two points, we have a much greater decline in output | :06:35. | :06:38.
during the recession. A lot more ground had to be made up than the | :06:39. | :06:41.
UK. Although we are in recovery and the economy is growing more slowly | :06:42. | :06:50.
than the UK average. Yes, we are in recovery, but there is a long, hard | :06:51. | :06:53.
slog before we make up the ground that we lost over the last five or | :06:54. | :06:55.
six years. The airline Jet2 has announced new | :06:56. | :07:00.
routes from Belfast, and with it 86 new jobs based | :07:01. | :07:02.
at the International airport. It's bolstering | :07:03. | :07:05.
its existing local operation with With more details, | :07:06. | :07:06.
here's our business correspondent The new Jet2 services will begin | :07:07. | :07:23.
next year and have the added bonus of delivering 86 jobs. The | :07:24. | :07:27.
airline's local workforce will more than double with the addition of | :07:28. | :07:31.
four destinations. Bank area, Prague, Rome and Zante will be | :07:32. | :07:36.
served by an extra plane in Belfast. With it comes more staff. We are | :07:37. | :07:43.
going to be recruiting pilots in Belfast, cabin crew, more engineers | :07:44. | :07:48.
and ground crew. What does it say about Jet2's commitment to the | :07:49. | :07:59.
airport? We are enjoying our 10th anniversary and we are going to be | :08:00. | :08:03.
here for some time. We are very committed to Belfast. This is more | :08:04. | :08:08.
positive news for The International. The airport is in fightback mode. | :08:09. | :08:12.
Last year, passenger numbers dipped by 6%. The airport says this trend | :08:13. | :08:18.
is reversing this year and new routes like this will help future | :08:19. | :08:22.
growth. About half of the new jobs are being made possible with a grant | :08:23. | :08:33.
from Invest NI. We have to be competitive as a region. We are | :08:34. | :08:39.
seeing today that the jobs is being assisted by government as well. It's | :08:40. | :08:42.
a communal effort as far as Northern Ireland is concerned. It is of major | :08:43. | :08:45.
significance and that is something we want to see more of. From this | :08:46. | :08:51.
year, Jet2 will run 70 services a week at Belfast. Some of those roots | :08:52. | :08:55.
might have an added impact the economy, in proving tourist numbers. | :08:56. | :09:02.
The police have started a new crack down on motorists using | :09:03. | :09:04.
So far this year, 43 people have been killed | :09:05. | :09:08.
on the roads here - that's more than in the same period last year. | :09:09. | :09:16.
Traffic police are promising more patrols. | :09:17. | :09:19.
Now you see them, now you don't. Traffic police are using more | :09:20. | :09:30.
unmarked vehicles like this one. Drivers are being stopped if they | :09:31. | :09:33.
are seen breaking the law. Here is one of the latest incidents this | :09:34. | :09:36.
afternoon. A motorist accused of using his mobile phone while | :09:37. | :09:42.
driving. He could have to pay a ?60 fixed penalty and receive three | :09:43. | :09:45.
points on his licence. I joined one of the new traffic trolls with the | :09:46. | :09:49.
head of road policing, superintendent Gerry Murray. We are | :09:50. | :09:54.
here in an unmarked police car. Is this not a little bit sneaky? There | :09:55. | :09:59.
is a small core of drivers that will not listen to advice and guidance. | :10:00. | :10:04.
We had one driver that had three children in the car, in excess of | :10:05. | :10:13.
120 mph. 20 minutes later, another male driver with a family, driving | :10:14. | :10:20.
in excess of 125 mph. Speed isn't the only danger. One of the biggest | :10:21. | :10:23.
problems is drivers being distracted. But there is some | :10:24. | :10:28.
confusion about what motorists can and cannot do behind the wheel. So, | :10:29. | :10:34.
I asked some questions. OK, a hot day like today. Can I have a drink? | :10:35. | :10:39.
Can I have a lick of an ice cream at the wheel? You must have full | :10:40. | :10:43.
control of the motor vehicle while driving it. If you are holding a | :10:44. | :10:47.
drink and you are stopped by a police officer, it depends on the | :10:48. | :10:50.
circumstances. But you must have full control. I'm not a sat -- I'm | :10:51. | :10:58.
at a set of traffic lights, can I look at my phone? No. With the | :10:59. | :11:05.
police say they are stepping efforts to catch culprits. It's not just | :11:06. | :11:09.
unmarked police cars, but bikes as well, like that one. The officer is | :11:10. | :11:15.
still in uniform, but it's not a normal police bike. The overall | :11:16. | :11:18.
message to motorists is to slow down and leave your phone alone. | :11:19. | :11:21.
The programme director of the Marie Stopes clinic in Belfast, | :11:22. | :11:24.
Dawn Purvis has told a court she was left extremely shaken and upset | :11:25. | :11:27.
following an alleged harassment incident outside her place of work. | :11:28. | :11:31.
Pro-life campaigner Bernie Smyth is accused of harassing Ms Purvis | :11:32. | :11:34.
on two separate occasions earlier this year. | :11:35. | :11:36.
The director of the Precious Life Group Bernadette Smith was at court | :11:37. | :11:54.
today to contest a court of harassment. The 51-year-old denies | :11:55. | :11:58.
harassing Dawn Purvis on two separate occasions in January and | :11:59. | :12:04.
debris. The court heard that the pro-life group held regular protests | :12:05. | :12:08.
outside the clinic, which provides early medical abortions within the | :12:09. | :12:11.
law in Northern Ireland. Under questioning from a prosecution | :12:12. | :12:17.
lawyer, Dawn Purvis alleged on one occasion she was heckled as she left | :12:18. | :12:21.
the clinic. When she told protesters to stop harassing her, it was then, | :12:22. | :12:25.
she said, that the accused replied, you ain't seen harassment yet, | :12:26. | :12:30.
darling. The court was shown CCTV footage of the incidents. A defence | :12:31. | :12:35.
barrister accused Dawn Purvis of deliberately putting her hand out in | :12:36. | :12:41.
front of the protesters in a erratic fashion because she knew the events | :12:42. | :12:44.
were being recorded, a claim that she denied. In the second alleged | :12:45. | :12:47.
incident, Dawn Purvis said that Bernie Smith cackled and laughed at | :12:48. | :12:52.
her in an exaggerated manner as she was leading her son and a friend to | :12:53. | :12:56.
the front door. At one point, defence lawyer put it to her that | :12:57. | :12:59.
she had set up the whole second incident. He told the court, you | :13:00. | :13:02.
went to the door to try to provoke a reaction from Bernie Smyth. Dawn | :13:03. | :13:09.
Purvis replied, that's not true. After a full day's hearing, legal | :13:10. | :13:12.
issues arose prompting the judge to adjourn the case until September. | :13:13. | :13:16.
A major fish kill in a County Armagh river is being blamed on pollution | :13:17. | :13:19.
Around 200 fish were killed in the Bessbrook River, in an incident | :13:20. | :13:24.
described by the environment agency as being of high severity. | :13:25. | :13:27.
Here's our reporter in the south-east, Gordon Adair. | :13:28. | :13:34.
Dead fish can still be seen in the Bessbrook River and the canal into | :13:35. | :13:42.
which it flows, three days after the pollution was first reported. The | :13:43. | :13:45.
Environment Agency said dozens of fish of varying species are dead and | :13:46. | :13:49.
they expect a number of fatalities to rise. The agency believes farm | :13:50. | :13:55.
waste is the source of this pollution and its officers have | :13:56. | :13:58.
collected samples to use in a possible prosecution. Local anglers | :13:59. | :14:03.
say the latest incident once again underlines the need for care. | :14:04. | :14:08.
Particularly in warm weather. At this time of year, water levels are | :14:09. | :14:14.
very low in rivers. The oxygen would be low as well. So it takes very | :14:15. | :14:20.
little to tip the balance of the environment. Everybody has to watch | :14:21. | :14:27.
out for stuff like this. We have identified the source of pollution, | :14:28. | :14:33.
very quickly. We have worked with our colleagues and what we are doing | :14:34. | :14:38.
is trying to employ some methods and techniques to increase the oxygen | :14:39. | :14:47.
levels in the river, down there. The Environment Minister said he was | :14:48. | :14:49.
concerned to hear about the fish kill and that he would be monitoring | :14:50. | :14:53.
developments closely along with Environment Agency officials. | :14:54. | :15:04.
Its day three of the mini heatwave and soon we'll be finding out how | :15:05. | :15:08.
wrong the temperatures will last. People have been out enjoying the | :15:09. | :15:14.
weather across Northern Ireland but the public health agency has issued | :15:15. | :15:16.
a warning to take care in the sun. It seems the weather gets to | :15:17. | :15:28.
everybody, even government ministers. Mark Durkin found it too | :15:29. | :15:34.
hot and had to cool down. He was promoting an event where people can | :15:35. | :15:37.
slide down shrewdly streaked to raise awareness about cancer. Today, | :15:38. | :15:44.
the heat was the talking point. -- Shipley Street. It seems to put a | :15:45. | :15:49.
smile on people's faces, motorists are more likely to be courteous, | :15:50. | :15:54.
it's great to see. A similar water slide in Bristol two months ago | :15:55. | :15:58.
created a massive public response when almost 100,000 people signed up | :15:59. | :16:02.
for a chance to have a go for charity. It really captured the | :16:03. | :16:05.
public imagination. Shipley Street really is Derry. It is one of the | :16:06. | :16:12.
steepest streets in Europe. To imagine going down it headfirst is | :16:13. | :16:16.
very appealing to a lot of people around here. Any guarantee the | :16:17. | :16:18.
steepest streets in Europe. To imagine going down it headfirst is | :16:19. | :16:21.
very appealing to a lot of people around here. Any guaranteed hot | :16:22. | :16:33.
weather? I wish I could! The warm weather has put a spring in | :16:34. | :16:38.
everybody's step. These singers from the University are in fine voice as | :16:39. | :16:41.
they prepare to rock the banks of the River Foyle. It's being | :16:42. | :16:50.
comradely transformed for the fish festival. What is it about? It's a | :16:51. | :16:55.
fantastic seafood Festival. We have 14 local restaurants and celebrity | :16:56. | :16:58.
chefs. It's really the weather for it. Is it the weather for cooking | :16:59. | :17:04.
fish? We couldn't ask for better weather. It enables us to bring a | :17:05. | :17:09.
large fries your fish down, people can take it home and maybe barbecue. | :17:10. | :17:13.
If it's big enough, they could try this poor year. The public health | :17:14. | :17:18.
agency has warned everybody to be careful and make sure you regularly | :17:19. | :17:22.
apply sunscreen. For many, the weather has proved difficult. It's | :17:23. | :17:29.
been great, but it's difficult for the little ones. He's been cranky | :17:30. | :17:33.
all the time. We have to keep plenty of fluids in him. For Michael and | :17:34. | :17:38.
Zoe, the weather was just fine. For them, it was just a perfect day. | :17:39. | :17:42.
Well that's how people have been coping with the heat | :17:43. | :17:44.
But if you think skinny dipping might be a good way of keeping cool, | :17:45. | :17:48.
Police in County Down have warned anyone caught could be charged with | :17:49. | :17:52.
indecent exposure and placed on the sex offenders register. | :17:53. | :17:56.
Our reporter Teresa Craig has been testing the water with | :17:57. | :17:58.
It was a cool reception for a skinny dip who found himself face-to-face | :17:59. | :18:14.
with the police. Well temperatures soar, it's tempting to wear less. | :18:15. | :18:18.
But skinny-dipping, is it ever a good idea? Not in Northern Ireland, | :18:19. | :18:28.
no. You would be silly to do it here, you would be very cold. I've | :18:29. | :18:33.
done it myself, I don't see a problem. People might have an | :18:34. | :18:36.
opinion, but my opinion is that it's grand. Nudist beach, you get them on | :18:37. | :18:42.
the continent, that's fine. Not here, with the kids running about. | :18:43. | :18:52.
You don't want to see peoples dangles hanging about. It's too hot | :18:53. | :18:58.
for this jacket, but remember that if you take all your clothes off you | :18:59. | :19:02.
could find yourself in hot water. It happens to two sun-seekers who found | :19:03. | :19:06.
themselves on the wrong side of the law yesterday. Police are warning to | :19:07. | :19:14.
cover-up, or feel exposed to prosecution. I disagree, to be | :19:15. | :19:19.
honest. Prosecutor in for what? What are they doing? They are enjoying | :19:20. | :19:23.
themselves. Police have warned you could face prosecution, do you agree | :19:24. | :19:28.
with that? Definitely. Children are about. Things like that shouldn't | :19:29. | :19:32.
happen. If you are heading to the beach this summer, find better ways | :19:33. | :19:33.
to cool down. To the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow | :19:34. | :19:45.
now, and Stephen Watson can update us on how Team Northern Ireland are | :19:46. | :19:47.
getting on today. Any more medals Stephen? | :19:48. | :19:48.
No more medals yet to follow the bronze of Lisa Kearney | :19:49. | :19:52.
in judo last night, but there could be another medal | :19:53. | :19:54.
Unfortunately, Owen Fleming from Belfast lost. Earlier in the day, he | :19:55. | :20:10.
had been knocked out in the quarterfinals, but he went on to | :20:11. | :20:13.
produce a fine performance to earn a shot at a medal. But in the bronze | :20:14. | :20:19.
medal match he was sadly beaten by his South African opponent. So he | :20:20. | :20:20.
falls agonisingly short of a medal. Our fighters delivered five medals | :20:21. | :20:24.
at the last games in Delhi and are hoping for even better this | :20:25. | :20:29.
time. Belfast bantamweight Michael Conlan | :20:30. | :20:31.
was involved in the very first bout of the Games | :20:32. | :20:33.
and got NI off to a winning start. But the Olympic bronze medallist did | :20:34. | :20:37.
have a little bit of a scare after sustaining a cut to | :20:38. | :20:43.
the head after a clash. But he took a comfortable victory | :20:44. | :20:49.
and now progresses to the last 16. I thought it was a cut on my eye. | :20:50. | :21:04.
But really it was on my head. I didn't look at it until after the | :21:05. | :21:08.
fight, it actually doesn't bother me. At the start I was worried | :21:09. | :21:15.
because I felt a trickle. I thought he hit me, but it was his head. But | :21:16. | :21:19.
after that, I felt all right and in control. You have been waiting four | :21:20. | :21:24.
years to make up for the disappointment of the last | :21:25. | :21:28.
Commonwealth Games? Definitely. I cried in the airport, I'll admit | :21:29. | :21:33.
that. I was really disappointed them. But now I'm back, back in | :21:34. | :21:33.
Glasgow and I want to take the gold. Northern Ireland athletes were | :21:34. | :21:43.
involved in a host of other sports today and there was | :21:44. | :21:45.
some drama in the swimming pool for Just 14 years old, Danielle Hill | :21:46. | :22:02.
faced a nerve wracking experience in her first games. She had to race in | :22:03. | :22:10.
a swim off in a place for the semifinals of the backstroke. The | :22:11. | :22:14.
Northern Ireland record-holder excelled on the big stage. Looks | :22:15. | :22:18.
like we will have a Northern Irish swimmer in the semifinal. My coach | :22:19. | :22:25.
said to me before the race, this is all yours, just go and grab it. This | :22:26. | :22:28.
is your time and place, you've got to go and get it. Michael Dawson is | :22:29. | :22:34.
the only other swimmer through to the semifinals after qualifying from | :22:35. | :22:37.
the heats of the 100 metres breaststroke. Our bowlers have | :22:38. | :22:42.
delivered 18 games medals down through the years. And an | :22:43. | :22:47.
experienced quartet of women who were won this morning are in search | :22:48. | :22:52.
of their first. It would be the highlight of my bowling career. I | :22:53. | :22:55.
don't know about the other girls, but that would be mine. The one | :22:56. | :23:00.
medal that everybody wants to win. It's such a great competition, 71 | :23:01. | :23:05.
countries here. It's the highlight of everybody's career. World Bowls | :23:06. | :23:10.
is a bit different. It's all the sports, to get on the podium is | :23:11. | :23:13.
wonderful. Shooters including David Christie got back quest for medals | :23:14. | :23:20.
under way. Northern Ireland might not have a hockey team here. But we | :23:21. | :23:25.
do have two hockey players competing for England. Ian Lewis and Mark | :23:26. | :23:36.
Clegg scored against Trinidad and Tobago. | :23:37. | :23:39.
Madeline Perry is through to the quarter finals of the squash. | :23:40. | :23:41.
Some of Northern Irelands Paralympic athletes are competing | :23:42. | :23:43.
in these Games, including a gold medallist at London 2012. | :23:44. | :23:51.
18-year-old swimmer Bethany Firth and 49 year old cyclist James Brown | :23:52. | :23:53.
For Bethany Firth, this is the moment she had been training for. As | :23:54. | :24:06.
a Paralympian, she has won medals across many different disciplines. | :24:07. | :24:11.
Today she was in a world-class able-bodied event. I think I'm | :24:12. | :24:15.
learning a lot from the experience. I hope I can put it into Paralympic | :24:16. | :24:20.
sport and do it there as well. It is always something I've wanted to do | :24:21. | :24:23.
and I hope I inspire others to try that little harder and that | :24:24. | :24:28.
Paralympic athletes can be with able-bodied as well. It's not just | :24:29. | :24:33.
able-bodied events taking place in Glasgow. Northern Ireland's James | :24:34. | :24:39.
Brown was competing here, the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, in front of the | :24:40. | :24:42.
man himself. It's fantastic, so great to see the boys and girls | :24:43. | :24:46.
enjoying the facility and be part of the Commonwealth Games. I've been on | :24:47. | :24:50.
the back of a tandem many years ago and it's pretty terrifying, so I am | :24:51. | :24:54.
impressed with these guys putting their confidence and faith in the | :24:55. | :24:58.
guy in front. They are tremendous athletes, they train like any other | :24:59. | :25:01.
elite and it's great to see them getting their chance at the highest | :25:02. | :25:06.
level. Belfast's James Brown had a serious crash on the first day of | :25:07. | :25:10.
training ten weeks ago. Today computing and Oscar was an | :25:11. | :25:13.
accomplishment in itself. The way they have included the Paralympic | :25:14. | :25:17.
athlete in the main event, in the whole thing, that is something I've | :25:18. | :25:25.
never experienced before. It makes me feel like one of the rest of the | :25:26. | :25:30.
athletes, not separate. They've done a really good job. They don't call | :25:31. | :25:34.
these games the friendly games for nothing. | :25:35. | :25:38.
It was a tough night for our local football sides in Europe. | :25:39. | :25:43.
Crusaders, Derry City and Linfield were all | :25:44. | :25:44.
Linfield lost 2-0 away to AIK Solna in Stockholm. | :25:45. | :25:49.
Warren Feeney's side had led 1-0 from the first leg, but two second | :25:50. | :25:52.
half goals from the Swedish club sent them through to the next round. | :25:53. | :26:04.
I'll be back live from Glasgow on our late bulletin with all the | :26:05. | :26:09.
It's been a glorious few days of wall-to-wall sunshine, is there a | :26:10. | :26:17.
change on the horizon? Tell us it's not true! | :26:18. | :26:21.
A major change coming in this week. It has been a nice week if you like | :26:22. | :26:27.
it hot and you've been holidaying on the north coast. The highest | :26:28. | :26:31.
temperature was upbeat Giant's Causeway, 28.9 degrees, beating | :26:32. | :26:34.
yesterday's high. There are changes on the way, a big | :26:35. | :26:42.
drop in temperature. Rain moving in from the west tomorrow, which will | :26:43. | :26:46.
bring that drop in temperature. More westerly wind will make it feel so | :26:47. | :26:50.
much cooler. There was that area of low pressure. It pulls hard tearaway | :26:51. | :26:58.
as it moves across as. The wind moves into the Northwest. Maybe not | :26:59. | :27:05.
as hot, but it will become drier. Sunny skies are still there, the | :27:06. | :27:09.
bank of cloud will bring the changes and is sitting in the West. It will | :27:10. | :27:14.
move into night. Tomorrow, we are expecting showery rain to move | :27:15. | :27:17.
across many places. To begin with, just in the West. There will be some | :27:18. | :27:21.
early sunshine in the West. It will warm up quickly, at least for a | :27:22. | :27:25.
while. It will feel quite humid, but as the rain moves in it should start | :27:26. | :27:28.
to feel cooler and fresher to the afternoon and evening. Tomorrow | :27:29. | :27:33.
lunch time, it is likely to be raining across many parts of County | :27:34. | :27:38.
Antrim. Still some heat around, quite humid. As a result, although | :27:39. | :27:42.
it will not be wall-to-wall rain, there could be a rumble of thunder | :27:43. | :27:46.
before the afternoon is out. Temperatures well down in the west | :27:47. | :27:49.
tomorrow. The good news is that it will be driving from the West as | :27:50. | :27:51.
well. At least tomorrow evening there will be some dry weather, some | :27:52. | :27:56.
sunshine around but it will feel much, much cooler. That means | :27:57. | :27:59.
tomorrow night you get a good night's sleep. A much cooler night | :28:00. | :28:04.
to camp on Saturday night. For Sunday, it will feel like a | :28:05. | :28:07.
different season. It could be over 10 degrees lower, the temperature on | :28:08. | :28:11.
Sunday. Brisk wind, some showers around and temperatures well down. | :28:12. | :28:15.
There are hints it will dry up again next week. | :28:16. | :28:19. |
