Good evening, the headlines on BBC Newsline... | :00:16. | :00:17.
The charity caught up in the wrangling over | :00:18. | :00:21.
Have specially trained dogs made a breakthrough in the hunt | :00:22. | :00:28.
The drastic action being taken in the battle against tree disease. | :00:29. | :00:36.
The student who was scammed by a fake agency who promised to take her | :00:37. | :00:39.
It is a scam. It is so close to being real and so many people could | :00:40. | :00:55.
be sucked in. An exceptional but for months from the Ox is but a poor | :00:56. | :01:00.
performance overall from Northern Ireland from the Commonwealth games. | :01:01. | :01:05.
Hey heavy rain warning has been issued. Some sunshine as well. I | :01:06. | :01:09.
will be back with the latest. -- heavy rain warning. | :01:10. | :01:16.
An aviation charity is caught in the middle of row between the DUP | :01:17. | :01:19.
and Sinn Fein over the development of the former Maze Prison site. | :01:20. | :01:22.
The Ulster Aviation Society, which is based on the site, | :01:23. | :01:25.
says it has had to cancel two open days after being refused permission | :01:26. | :01:28.
Sinn Fein say the DUP must take responsibility. | :01:29. | :01:34.
Here is our political reporter, Stephen Walker. | :01:35. | :01:43.
The Ulster Aviation Society hopes to show off planes and as to the public | :01:44. | :01:51.
later this month. Permission for the event was needed from the office of | :01:52. | :01:55.
the first and Deputy first Minister. Despite a series of letters, | :01:56. | :01:59.
approval was not forthcoming. The society have had to cancel. | :02:00. | :02:05.
Absolutely gutted. We have had three open days here before. All very well | :02:06. | :02:12.
attended by the public. We have got real disappointment on the Facebook | :02:13. | :02:17.
site. And the public will miss out. One year ago TDP withdrew support | :02:18. | :02:22.
for the centre and that angered Sinn Fein. -- the DUP. Since then there | :02:23. | :02:31.
has not been a consensus. The TU P said Peter Robinson approved the | :02:32. | :02:34.
open day and then claimed Sinn Fein are based block. Sinn Fein are | :02:35. | :02:40.
saying that nothing happens until we deal with the present Golding. They | :02:41. | :02:46.
are using the hunger strike hospital and the present building as a | :02:47. | :02:50.
medical leveraged and I think that is wrong. Why should a charity like | :02:51. | :02:55.
this be punished because of a political disagreement? It is not | :02:56. | :03:01.
good politics. But Sinn Fein say that the EDU PR to blame. It was | :03:02. | :03:08.
done by Peter Robinson because he agreed to open a centre. The | :03:09. | :03:13.
development was at least 5000 jobs. This is retaliation? It is not. It | :03:14. | :03:22.
is a matter of knowing. Others has said that the cancellation is simply | :03:23. | :03:27.
not unacceptable. -- have said. I am very surprised that they have chosen | :03:28. | :03:32.
this particular battle. There is no need for it. They took a stance. It | :03:33. | :03:36.
requires the parties to get talking about it. It is a side issue. It has | :03:37. | :03:41.
had a dramatic affect on the organisation which has done good | :03:42. | :03:46.
work. The cancellation does not mean an end to some events at this site. | :03:47. | :03:51.
Next week the largest trucking event in Europe will take place here. | :03:52. | :03:55.
While automobiles get the green lights, the planes will remain | :03:56. | :04:00.
grounded. The Ulster Aviation Society said they had been dragged | :04:01. | :04:04.
into a political realm not of their making. This is where they say the | :04:05. | :04:10.
blame lies. They said even if permission was granted today it | :04:11. | :04:12.
would be too late to try and organise the event for this year. | :04:13. | :04:17.
The big hope is that permission will be granted for 2015. | :04:18. | :04:29.
Police forensic scientists will examine items found | :04:30. | :04:30.
by specialist search dogs at the home of a Portadown woman | :04:31. | :04:33.
Searches have been taking place at the house | :04:34. | :04:36.
where Caroline Graham lived when she disappeared. | :04:37. | :04:38.
Our south east reporter Gordon Adair has been to the scene. | :04:39. | :04:42.
The dogs and the handlers spent yesterday examining this flat where | :04:43. | :04:49.
Caroline Graham lived with her then boyfriend. The police know that on | :04:50. | :04:51.
the night she went missing she had been at a nightclub and they think | :04:52. | :04:56.
that she returned here to collect some clothes and that was the last | :04:57. | :05:00.
time she was ever seen. The dogs are trained to detect even minute traces | :05:01. | :05:05.
of human aims. I understand that they both independently indicated | :05:06. | :05:11.
items of interest in the house and it was this which prompted the | :05:12. | :05:14.
police to court in specialist scientific officers. The detectives | :05:15. | :05:20.
have not said what the items are but I understand they are not body | :05:21. | :05:24.
part. It has the potential to be a significant development. The police | :05:25. | :05:27.
think that the public will still be significant development. The police | :05:28. | :05:32.
the key to solving this crime. There are a circle of | :05:33. | :05:33.
the key to solving this crime. There that know what happened. They want | :05:34. | :05:36.
to break that circle and do that know what happened. They want | :05:37. | :05:40.
encouraging somebody to come forward 25 years later and | :05:41. | :05:49.
A member of police staff has been arrested as part of the | :05:50. | :05:55.
The 54 year old has been arrested on suspicion of misconduct | :05:56. | :05:57.
He's being questioned at a police station in Belfast. | :05:58. | :06:04.
of this investigation, including the retired former Assistant Chief | :06:05. | :06:06.
No-one has yet been charged in relation to the investigation. | :06:07. | :06:15.
Thousands of trees are being felled in a Belfast forest | :06:16. | :06:17.
The forest service says it hopes cutting down around | :06:18. | :06:21.
6,500 larch trees in Belvoir Forest will reduce the | :06:22. | :06:23.
risk of disease spreading to other trees and gardens in the city. | :06:24. | :06:26.
The latest tree to fall in a 1000 Hector swayed is coming down. It is | :06:27. | :06:48.
to tackle a treat disease or a paid the gym -- a tree disease to prevent | :06:49. | :06:54.
more spores being released in the autumn. Almost 7000 trees will come | :06:55. | :07:01.
down here in the next few weeks. Amounting to about one third of the | :07:02. | :07:06.
whole forest. The regeneration, we are aiming to put it back in, the | :07:07. | :07:13.
equivalent, with parkland features. The public will be quite aware that | :07:14. | :07:18.
this place is very famous for these trees and parkland spaces. We hope | :07:19. | :07:23.
to regenerate that type of environment. In the future. It will | :07:24. | :07:30.
take a period of time. But we hope that in a few decades we will see it | :07:31. | :07:36.
coming back. The bark and branches are kept separate. The timber can be | :07:37. | :07:41.
used normally in local sawmills. Felling has been going on for about | :07:42. | :07:45.
one day. The disease was discovered here early in 2014. Clearance of the | :07:46. | :07:51.
dozens of acres affected was postponed for a few weeks in | :07:52. | :07:56.
deference to local birdlife. In a short time it will probably look | :07:57. | :07:59.
pretty bad but the good thing is that we have taken out, those which | :08:00. | :08:03.
do not have as much value as assiduous trees which dropped | :08:04. | :08:07.
leaves. They will leave it to regenerate and you will have things | :08:08. | :08:11.
like oak and other assiduous trees coming up with a more beneficial | :08:12. | :08:17.
situation. Workers are being asked to keep away from the | :08:18. | :08:18.
Still to come on Newsline, is it really such an easy ride trying to | :08:19. | :08:30.
get out and about when you have got a disability? We find out later in | :08:31. | :08:33.
the programme. Two former directors of a Belfast | :08:34. | :08:38.
skip hire company are to stand trial on charges of waste offences | :08:39. | :08:41.
and non-payment of almost ?3 million 44 year-old Thomas Bates | :08:42. | :08:44.
and his brother, 42 year-old Gary, were directors of Ace Bates Skip | :08:45. | :08:49.
Hire Limited until last October. The company is also charged with | :08:50. | :08:51.
the same offences. The brothers and the company | :08:52. | :08:57.
were granted bail of ?250 each. Three firms accused | :08:58. | :09:06.
of receiving overpayments of ?18 million from the Housing | :09:07. | :09:08.
Executive The Housing Executive also accepts | :09:09. | :09:09.
that a fourth contractor which had been accused was in fact underpaid | :09:10. | :09:15.
and will receive compensation. The ?18 million overcharging | :09:16. | :09:21.
allegation was made by housing minister | :09:22. | :09:23.
Nelson McCausland last year. These are staggering figures which | :09:24. | :09:36.
you have brought to the Assembly. They are surprised you went to the | :09:37. | :09:40.
Assembly with these figures. Was it something of a solo run? First I am | :09:41. | :09:45.
delighted that the Housing executive has reached a conclusion. That is a | :09:46. | :09:49.
good thing. I am delighted that they have put in place a proper procedure | :09:50. | :09:55.
to monitor contracts. And I think that is a better place to be. It is | :09:56. | :10:03.
regrettable, writing off ?2 million. It is very much the case that they | :10:04. | :10:08.
are operating on the basis of with some contracts and overpayment and | :10:09. | :10:12.
son, underpaid. It was like they were operating on swings and | :10:13. | :10:17.
roundabouts. It was on your watch. The issue was going back quite some | :10:18. | :10:21.
way. These contracts were signed back under, over a number of years. | :10:22. | :10:29.
When I came into the department there was a problem with the | :10:30. | :10:33.
contract is. We knew that there was a problem with maintenance. We knew | :10:34. | :10:39.
that the figures that we were given... It was an estimate and you | :10:40. | :10:44.
went with a staggering figure. You said at the time it was either | :10:45. | :10:48.
wilful corruption or incredible incompetence. You regret having said | :10:49. | :10:55.
that? I was making a comment about incompetence and it is quite valid. | :10:56. | :10:59.
The way that it is being managed at that time, it was totally | :11:00. | :11:04.
inappropriate and inadequate. What will happen to the people that did | :11:05. | :11:09.
that? First we must make sure it never happens again. We have made | :11:10. | :11:12.
sure that they have had new contracts. But before we get to | :11:13. | :11:17.
that, it is public money. What happens to the people that did that? | :11:18. | :11:22.
Many will have gone from the system by now. The issue of managing staff | :11:23. | :11:28.
is an issue for the chairman and for the board of the executive and the | :11:29. | :11:31.
Chief Executive and I am sure they will want to look at it carefully. | :11:32. | :11:36.
When it comes to the companies that have had this mismanagement claim | :11:37. | :11:38.
hanging over their heads for 18 months, do you apologise? There was | :11:39. | :11:46.
and overpayment in the region of ?12 million. That figure was estimated | :11:47. | :11:50.
at the time. But actually they are repaying... ?2 million on top of | :11:51. | :11:57.
that and they're in mind that in addition to that, what emerged, this | :11:58. | :11:59.
is back to the swings and roundabouts that they operated on, | :12:00. | :12:05.
?12 million, elsewhere there were underpayments, because of things | :12:06. | :12:09.
that had not been claimed. It was like there was an understanding | :12:10. | :12:14.
between some contractors that you will win this and lose that. A | :12:15. | :12:19.
fourth company which did not get money, in fact they now have to get | :12:20. | :12:22.
compensation. Do you apologise to them? That company has behaved | :12:23. | :12:27.
properly and there was nothing untoward. We very much regret indeed | :12:28. | :12:33.
that any inference that might have been given was misleading. We are | :12:34. | :12:38.
setting the record straight. It is hot on the heels of the social | :12:39. | :12:44.
development committee. Concluding in their report that you miss let them. | :12:45. | :12:48.
Your opponents are saying that you have two consider your position. | :12:49. | :12:52.
That any other jurisdiction, a minister misleading a committee | :12:53. | :12:57.
would have to go. In any other jurisdiction, a committee, an | :12:58. | :13:00.
assembly, they would not operate in the way that this committee | :13:01. | :13:04.
operated. The standard of the process was short of what he would | :13:05. | :13:09.
get in any other... The process was fundamentally flawed. We have made | :13:10. | :13:14.
some legal observations from the Department in regard to that. They | :13:15. | :13:15.
said that you miss let them will Department in regard to that. They | :13:16. | :13:21.
stop the process was flawed. Should you miss let them. | :13:22. | :13:27.
stop the process was flawed. Should them. -- you were misleading them. | :13:28. | :13:32.
They have not produced any evidence them. -- you were misleading them. | :13:33. | :13:37.
to verify, or validate their position and it is a partisan | :13:38. | :13:44.
political stance. Are you resigning? There is no reason. There is a lot | :13:45. | :13:47.
of work to be done. We are getting to grips with areas around | :13:48. | :13:49.
insulating and double glazing. to grips with areas around | :13:50. | :13:51.
want to see that completed to grips with areas around | :13:52. | :13:55.
sector fit for purpose. Thank you very much. | :13:56. | :14:02.
A Londonderry student has spoken out about an American au pair | :14:03. | :14:05.
Chloe MacCombe is trying to get back the ?1,500 she's already spent. | :14:06. | :14:09.
Chloe MacCombe thought she had done her homework, applying online to | :14:10. | :14:20.
become an au pair. I got a response very quickly from Staten Island in | :14:21. | :14:24.
New York. We had an interview on Skype. She said she would therefore | :14:25. | :14:28.
the airfare, as long as I covered the Visa. When she checked the | :14:29. | :14:34.
address online she discovered it was for sale. And while her plane ticket | :14:35. | :14:38.
was genuine, the e-mail and the travel website that she paid ?1500 | :14:39. | :14:42.
to showed up as a scam. Her travel website that she paid ?1500 | :14:43. | :14:49.
is not overly good at times. Sometimes it is really good and | :14:50. | :14:52.
is not overly good at times. other times it is really bad. And | :14:53. | :14:55.
she sends it at a strange hour as well. Not in accordance with the | :14:56. | :15:03.
time difference from America. She did not know what she was walking | :15:04. | :15:09.
into. Well, she hopes that she was walking into a family genuinely... | :15:10. | :15:18.
She has learned a lesson. They are trying to get the money back. The | :15:19. | :15:21.
visa she trying to get the money back. The | :15:22. | :15:24.
the US consulate in Belfast to see if it is real but if it is, her | :15:25. | :15:27.
Now to the first of two reports on BBC Newsline this week | :15:28. | :15:35.
Getting around is something many of us take for granted but how easy | :15:36. | :15:40.
Chris Page has been looking at how well our public transport | :15:41. | :15:44.
network is set up to accommodate people with disabilities. | :15:45. | :15:51.
Philip lives in East Belfast and has been a wheelchair users for many | :15:52. | :15:57.
years. He often uses buses to travel around the city. The improving | :15:58. | :16:07.
technology has made a big difference to him, as has extra training for | :16:08. | :16:14.
drivers. This is quite a typical journey for Philip, from the stop | :16:15. | :16:19.
nearest is home to the city centre. He sometimes finds space is limited | :16:20. | :16:22.
but this afternoon it is not a problem. It is six years since he | :16:23. | :16:28.
gave up driving and began using public transport more and in that | :16:29. | :16:32.
time he has seen great changes. Now that they have fixed the problem is | :16:33. | :16:36.
when they had the electronic ramps and you now have a much -- you are | :16:37. | :16:41.
much more confident that the ramps will be working and the drivers have | :16:42. | :16:47.
been trained as to how gets people with disabilities on and off the | :16:48. | :16:49.
bosses so you feel a lot more confident about using the service. | :16:50. | :16:54.
The charity for which Philip volunteers says that disabled access | :16:55. | :16:57.
on public transport is much improved. There is a further change | :16:58. | :17:03.
that they would like. There is not any audiovisual information on the | :17:04. | :17:06.
bus so that given that blind people in particular are entirely reliant | :17:07. | :17:12.
or almost entirely reliant on public transport, that remains to be a | :17:13. | :17:16.
problem. In around town and city areas I would say that the services | :17:17. | :17:19.
are pretty good in terms of accessibility. The transport service | :17:20. | :17:25.
are looking for funding for audiovisual aids. We have carried | :17:26. | :17:29.
out a trial and it was very positively received. We just need to | :17:30. | :17:34.
identify methods for funding audiovisual schemes on the bass. | :17:35. | :17:38.
While some issues remain getting around is a lot easier than it used | :17:39. | :17:42.
to be. On the programme tomorrow night I will look at whether there | :17:43. | :17:45.
have been similar changes in the workplace. | :17:46. | :17:52.
You can tell us what you think on your Facebook page. | :17:53. | :17:53.
Punching above our weight when it comes to taking medals | :17:54. | :17:57.
in the ring, but are our athletes underachieving in other arenas? | :17:58. | :18:04.
Festivities are underway at the Maiden City Festival in | :18:05. | :18:06.
Londonderry where people have been taking in the history of the siege | :18:07. | :18:10.
Music, drama and dance events are taking place | :18:11. | :18:15.
It has become an annual feature in the cultural calendar, the Maiden | :18:16. | :18:32.
City Festival was established more than a decade ago to promote | :18:33. | :18:39.
Protestant identity. Whenever you come to events like this, the main | :18:40. | :18:45.
-- the Maiden City Festival is a great example where the kids get to | :18:46. | :18:51.
learn about the siege and they dance and it is very educational for them | :18:52. | :18:54.
and they get to show off who they are and what they do and what we | :18:55. | :19:00.
love. If the city had surrendered that it would led the way for James | :19:01. | :19:04.
to move through Scotland and England. The Cathedral plays history | :19:05. | :19:11.
to a history -- there is a history of the siege. What can I interest | :19:12. | :19:19.
you in? What about a siege scorn? The great siege laid upon this | :19:20. | :19:22.
listing of Londonderry has finally been lifted. The living and | :19:23. | :19:30.
breathing history is popular with tourists. It is telling tourists on | :19:31. | :19:36.
about the siege and what happened. Surfaced on the net we thought we | :19:37. | :19:39.
would go to Ireland and on our way we stopped in Londonderry. It is a | :19:40. | :19:44.
great place and we are very happy that we chose to come to this place | :19:45. | :19:54.
here, it is really beautiful. As well as music and drama there is a | :19:55. | :19:58.
special focus this year on the great War. In a Presbyterian Church there | :19:59. | :20:05.
is an exhibition of trench art, original World War I artefacts made | :20:06. | :20:14.
by soldiers during the period. The culmination of the events will be | :20:15. | :20:19.
the main Apprentice Boys parade. The festival organisers believe the | :20:20. | :20:23.
relatively peaceful atmosphere now has been due to much effort | :20:24. | :20:28.
behind-the-scenes. Communication and sorting these problems out across | :20:29. | :20:31.
the table as opposed to much effort behind-the-scenes. Communication and | :20:32. | :20:33.
sorting these problems out across the table as a poster across or less | :20:34. | :20:41.
worked out about 15 years ago through an initiative taken by the | :20:42. | :20:44.
Apprentice Boys and others and I think there is an example there to | :20:45. | :20:48.
be followed. The Apprentice Boys say that so far there has been a | :20:49. | :20:53.
positive response and a good turnout for the Maiden City Festival. The | :20:54. | :20:55.
music, drama and stance continues all week. | :20:56. | :21:00.
Did the success of our boxers at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games | :21:01. | :21:02.
mask a more general failure in other sports such as cycling, | :21:03. | :21:05.
Gavin Andrews is here with this evening's sport. | :21:06. | :21:10.
It's a fair question, Tara, for its part Sport NI says no. | :21:11. | :21:13.
The Chief Executive has announced an automatic review into Team NI's | :21:14. | :21:17.
All the other home nations exceeded their pre-games medals targets. | :21:18. | :21:21.
Northern Ireland didn't go public on its expectations but had it not | :21:22. | :21:27.
been for the boxing team, the medal tally would have been three. | :21:28. | :21:32.
As the curtain came down on another Commonwealth Games the scrutiny over | :21:33. | :21:46.
performance and success begins. Sport and will now review the Games | :21:47. | :21:50.
and admits that future investment will be more focused on athletes and | :21:51. | :21:55.
sports most Capel of delivering success. No nation competes at the | :21:56. | :21:59.
highest level across all of the sports. It is unrealistic to expect | :22:00. | :22:04.
medals on all sports as you go into major world-class competitions and | :22:05. | :22:08.
our focus will now be on looking at which sports give Northern Ireland | :22:09. | :22:12.
best chance of success. If you look at the size, population and wealth | :22:13. | :22:15.
of Northern Ireland, we are doing incredibly well in terms of bringing | :22:16. | :22:43.
home medals. Wales their medal target before the Games and both | :22:44. | :22:45.
nations exceeded expectations. We are extremely happy. We targeted 35 | :22:46. | :22:48.
and we have exceeded that and the reason for that is because some | :22:49. | :22:50.
athletes and some sports and almost all of them in fact over performed. | :22:51. | :22:53.
They delivered for Scotland and for themselves and their families and | :22:54. | :22:55.
their local communities could not be more pleased. There has been a | :22:56. | :22:57.
structure put in place in the last eight or ten years to enable the | :22:58. | :23:00.
athletes to do what they are doing here and they are particularly | :23:01. | :23:02.
grateful for that. Northern Ireland did not go public | :23:03. | :23:03.
grateful for that. Northern Ireland but privately one of their big hopes | :23:04. | :23:06.
was Martin Irvine but he described his Commonwealth Games performance | :23:07. | :23:09.
as honourable. Funding cuts meant a plan for a velodrome had been struck | :23:10. | :23:12.
and many believe that cycling infrastructure is a big issue. We | :23:13. | :23:17.
are missing out hugely. This country has so much potential out there and | :23:18. | :23:20.
we're not getting to see it because we do not have the facilities. It is | :23:21. | :23:25.
a shame because my brother hast to travel to me or can every time he | :23:26. | :23:29.
wants to travel on track and I had to do the same. When the facilities | :23:30. | :23:38.
are there you never know what might happen, there might be Olympic | :23:39. | :23:43.
champion so you never know. The immediate concern for local athletes | :23:44. | :23:47.
is the possibility of losing some of their funding as sport and I begins | :23:48. | :23:57.
its Commonwealth review. Now to a slice of sporting history in the | :23:58. | :23:58.
last few minutes. Ireland's women have been beaten | :23:59. | :24:00.
by hotly fancied New Zealand Ulster's Grace Davitt was on the | :24:01. | :24:02.
receiving end of a big hit early on. And with Jonny Sexton, who plays | :24:03. | :24:07.
his club rugby in Paris, watching on it was the world champions who | :24:08. | :24:10.
opened the scoring against the run But all the early pressure came | :24:11. | :24:13.
from Ireland and it eventually told as number eight Heather O'Brien | :24:14. | :24:21.
squeezed in under the posts. Leading 8-7 at the break the | :24:22. | :24:31.
Black Ferns went on to edge it. Next up for Ireland it's Kazakhstan | :24:32. | :24:35.
on Saturday. Next up for Ireland it's Kazakhstan | :24:36. | :24:49.
going in at the corner, I have not seen it yet so let us enjoy it. | :24:50. | :24:53.
There she goes, a bit of history for Ireland. | :24:54. | :24:55.
To Gaelic Football and Armagh's blanket media ban has been lifted | :24:56. | :24:58.
ahead of this weekend's All Ireland quarter final against Donegal. | :24:59. | :25:00.
The county's management imposed a widespread media ban | :25:01. | :25:02.
when they were hit with suspensions and a 5000 Euro fine, following this | :25:03. | :25:05.
It's understood Croke Park has stepped in and it's been confirmed | :25:06. | :25:10.
And we'll maybe hear from the Armagh camp tomorrow night. | :25:11. | :25:22.
Thank you. A great result for the rugby there. Now let us have the | :25:23. | :25:29.
weather, please no more rain. I am sorry. This is what is behind | :25:30. | :25:34.
me and I do not like it but I had to start with a weather warning. We | :25:35. | :25:38.
have a heavy rain warning in force. We had showers today and real | :25:39. | :25:41.
downpours. The story tonight is very much a wet one. There has been a lot | :25:42. | :25:45.
of rain in recent days and our rivers are looking quite eye. They | :25:46. | :25:51.
will continue to be a lot of water coming off the mountain is tonight | :25:52. | :25:54.
and tomorrow. Heavy showers have broken out in the last few hours. | :25:55. | :26:01.
There have been some Fender recently as well. If we move to the south | :26:02. | :26:06.
there is another clump of rain to the Irish Midlands which is coming | :26:07. | :26:09.
our way later this evening. Scattered showers in the next few | :26:10. | :26:13.
hours and then more prolonged rain moving northwards through the night. | :26:14. | :26:17.
Some of it could be heavy and thundery. It will be a warm night, | :26:18. | :26:21.
some of it quite misty and murky but with all of the rain there will be | :26:22. | :26:24.
in excess of two inches that could mean a lot of surface water on the | :26:25. | :26:29.
roads and possibly localised flooding so bear that in mind if you | :26:30. | :26:33.
are travelling tonight or tomorrow. It will improve as the day goes on | :26:34. | :26:41.
so to begin with it is dull and wet and the rain is still falling across | :26:42. | :26:44.
the North Coast. It will be moving away to the north-east. Mid-morning | :26:45. | :26:51.
onwards a lot of places become dry. This is and temperatures are not low | :26:52. | :26:54.
so it will feel warm and warm and humid and as the sun comes out | :26:55. | :26:58.
temperatures will quickly rise to about 20 degrees. As that happens we | :26:59. | :27:02.
will see sharp showers developed which could be thundery as well. | :27:03. | :27:09.
They will ease away in many places tomorrow evening. You may have heard | :27:10. | :27:13.
about birth. This is a hurricane coming out of the states in the next | :27:14. | :27:18.
few days. She will come towards us over the weekend and to begin with | :27:19. | :27:23.
there is rage of a high pressure on Thursday that will bring dry and | :27:24. | :27:26.
fine weather and then the sunshine and shower mix will be back for the | :27:27. | :27:31.
end of the week. And later at the weekend we will have to keep our | :27:32. | :27:32.
eyes on that hurricane. You can also keep in contact with | :27:33. | :27:35.
us via Facebook and Twitter. | :27:36. | :27:40. |
