other news on the BBC News Channel, and on our website, but that is all | :00:00. | :00:00.
for now. It is Good evening. | :00:00. | :00:15.
The headlines on BBC Newsline: A pilot lands a plane in | :00:16. | :00:29.
with one hand after his artificial arm becomes detached as it is about | :00:30. | :00:31.
to land. The Craigavon-based | :00:32. | :00:32.
pharmaceutical group Almac After collapsing on this field | :00:33. | :00:47.
during a match last night, Kevin McCloy remains in intensive care. We | :00:48. | :00:49.
will have the latest. Picking up the bill - | :00:50. | :00:52.
Stormont departments spend ?50,000 As the A-level results are revealed, | :00:53. | :01:03.
I have been to visit one school under real pressure to improve its | :01:04. | :01:04.
grades. A fine and mainly dry end to the | :01:05. | :01:05.
week, if a little on the cool side. Saturday is the best day | :01:06. | :01:09.
of the weekend. An air accident report has revealed | :01:10. | :01:13.
that a pilot briefly lost control of a plane coming in to Belfast, | :01:14. | :01:18.
when his prosthetic arm became The Flybe flight landing at | :01:19. | :01:22.
Belfast City Airport earlier this The Flybe plane was arriving in | :01:23. | :01:41.
Belfast from Birmingham. At the controls was a pilot with an | :01:42. | :01:44.
artificial arm which had been specially adapted to help him use | :01:45. | :01:49.
the controls. He had flown many times before, but during a flight in | :01:50. | :01:53.
February, suddenly something went wrong. It happened at one of the | :01:54. | :01:57.
most dangerous times on any flight, just as the aircraft was about to | :01:58. | :02:01.
land. Here is a Flybe flight coming into the City Airport today. You can | :02:02. | :02:06.
see how crosswind means that the pilot has to work to keep the plane | :02:07. | :02:13.
straight. It was at this point that the pilot. Your left arm became | :02:14. | :02:17.
detached. He did have a co-pilot beside him, but there simply wasn't | :02:18. | :02:20.
enough time to let him take over the control column, which his left arm | :02:21. | :02:25.
had been operating. Instead, according to the official report, | :02:26. | :02:29.
the pilot concluded his best course of action was to move his right hand | :02:30. | :02:32.
from the power levers to regain control. He did this, but a normal | :02:33. | :02:40.
touchdown was followed by a bounce, from which the aircraft landed | :02:41. | :02:43.
heavily. Just like this smooth landing, no damage was done, no one | :02:44. | :02:48.
was hurt and all of the passengers arrived safely. | :02:49. | :02:52.
He's not the only pilot with one arm. Steve Robinson is another. It's | :02:53. | :02:57.
very safe, we have to go through really stringent testing and we are | :02:58. | :03:00.
scrutinised even more so than an able-bodied person. As a disabled | :03:01. | :03:05.
person, to prove ourselves, we have to be ten times better than an | :03:06. | :03:08.
able-bodied person just to get the same job. In a statement, Flybe | :03:09. | :03:10.
said: According to the official report, | :03:11. | :03:25.
the pilot realises he needs to be more careful when checking whether | :03:26. | :03:30.
his artificial arm is firmly attached. He also recognises the | :03:31. | :03:34.
need to always brief his co-pilot to be ready to take the controls at any | :03:35. | :03:36.
time. 350 new jobs are being created by | :03:37. | :03:51.
Almac. The investment will generate salaries of ?9 million a year. Our | :03:52. | :03:56.
economic editor reports. These machines, which are giant | :03:57. | :03:59.
pharmaceutical mixers, are working around the clock to keep up with | :04:00. | :04:04.
demand. Almac will be exporting these products all over the world. | :04:05. | :04:08.
The company is already one of our biggest and most successful | :04:09. | :04:11.
home-grown firms. This new investment will see the workforce | :04:12. | :04:15.
increased by 10% over the next five years. The man in charge says there | :04:16. | :04:20.
will be a wide prior to your skilled, well paying jobs. Over a | :04:21. | :04:27.
five-year period, 350 jobs. Those will range from operator level jobs, | :04:28. | :04:31.
through technicians, right through to management, logistic people, | :04:32. | :04:38.
warehouse people. A whole range of jobs, summer graduate and some not | :04:39. | :04:42.
graduate. There are opportunities for graduate and non-graduate people | :04:43. | :04:48.
to apply. The new jobs are in the divisions which do contract work for | :04:49. | :04:52.
big pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. That involves developing, | :04:53. | :04:57.
manufacturing and packaging jobs and managing their distribution. That | :04:58. | :05:00.
will mean an investment of more than ?50 million. There will also be a | :05:01. | :05:06.
?5.5 million grant from Invest Northern Ireland. The Minister says | :05:07. | :05:13.
that it is helping in other ways. There is always more we can do, | :05:14. | :05:17.
whether that is the University is making sure we have an appropriate | :05:18. | :05:20.
number of graduates and relevant coursework, so we work with the | :05:21. | :05:26.
Deployment Of Employment And Learning, making sure we are giving | :05:27. | :05:30.
the proper support and have a global presence for a company such as this. | :05:31. | :05:34.
The pharmaceutical in the street has been a star performer in recent | :05:35. | :05:37.
years. It has grown right through the recession. In the last year | :05:38. | :05:41.
alone it has grown by 10%. This huge investment announced today shows | :05:42. | :05:44.
Former Derry Gaelic football captain Kevin McCloy is stable in hospital | :05:45. | :05:55.
this evening after collapsing during a club match last night. | :05:56. | :05:57.
The 35-year-old received treatment from ambulance staff on site, | :05:58. | :05:59.
before being transferred to Altnagelvin Hospital. | :06:00. | :06:01.

Mark Sidebottom in live in Owenbeg, outside Dungiven, where | :06:07. | :06:08.
As you are saying, he was playing in a club Championship game last | :06:09. | :06:19.
season. It was less than ten minutes old, he went to kick the ball and | :06:20. | :06:25.
collapsed. They differed very -- eight federal | :06:26. | :06:33.
24 hours on, I know that you have been in close contact with the club. | :06:34. | :06:39.
What can you tell us? At this stage, we are talking to the members of the | :06:40. | :06:43.
club. Kevin is stable, the medics are doing their assessment on him. | :06:44. | :06:47.
It was a horrific scene last night. We wish him and the very best. I | :06:48. | :06:54.
know that you want to pay tribute, not just the paramedics, but the | :06:55. | :06:58.
doctors in the crowd that came out to assist. There was a 45 minute | :06:59. | :07:02.
period were their intervention could prove crucial? Absolutely. The | :07:03. | :07:12.
physio attended and asked the paramedics to come onto the pitch. | :07:13. | :07:17.
Three doctors that came on from the crowd, I take this opportunity to | :07:18. | :07:24.
thank them. What I did, their professionalism, they worked very | :07:25. | :07:27.
swiftly. The paramedics that came out from the hospital, they worked | :07:28. | :07:39.
very hard. As you are saying, 35 rolled Kevin McCloy is a father of | :07:40. | :07:43.
two. At this difficult time, his family have requested privacy. | :07:44. | :07:46.
20 years after Tyrone teenager Arlene Arkinson was murdered, | :07:47. | :07:49.
the police say they've found blood belonging to two mystery women. | :07:50. | :07:51.
15-year-old Arlene disappeared after a night out in Bundoran. | :07:52. | :07:54.
Two years ago, fresh searches were carried out at a derelict flat | :07:55. | :07:57.
Blood belonging to two women was found. | :07:58. | :08:03.
Today, detectives said the blood was not from Arlene and does not appear | :08:04. | :08:09.
They've appealed for anyone who was in the flat on Main Street | :08:10. | :08:12.
We are satisfied that Arlene was in that flat. We are satisfied of some | :08:13. | :08:29.
of her movements ahead of her disappearance. The important thing | :08:30. | :08:32.
here is that there are two women, each of them will have a story, each | :08:33. | :08:38.
of them need to know who the right thing. 20 years on, they need to | :08:39. | :08:42.
just get over the fear, get over what their concerns are and please | :08:43. | :08:45.
come forward and speak to us. Still plenty to come | :08:46. | :08:48.
on tonight's programme. Find out if Northern Ireland's | :08:49. | :08:49.
students have come top of Stormont Government departments | :08:50. | :08:52.
spent more than ?2.5 million on hospitality last year - | :08:53. | :09:01.
that's around ?50,000 each week. The figures were revealed | :09:02. | :09:06.
in answers to questions from the TUV Mr Allister reckons that executive | :09:07. | :09:09.
ministers need to clamp down on what he describes as the lavish spending | :09:10. | :09:13.
of taxpayers' hard earned cash. Here's Our Political Editor Mark | :09:14. | :09:18.
Devenport. Last year, the TUV honed in on | :09:19. | :09:30.
Stormont's switch on, revealing more than ?1000 had been spent on Mints | :09:31. | :09:36.
provided free of charge. These latest figures are more | :09:37. | :09:42.
wide-ranging, covering spending incurred by individual departments | :09:43. | :09:45.
and agencies covering areas like health, education and job creation. | :09:46. | :09:51.
The education department comes top of the hospitality league, spending | :09:52. | :09:55.
more than ?700,000. Next is enterprise, which includes the job | :09:56. | :10:01.
creation body Invest Northern Ireland, on more than ?500,000. | :10:02. | :10:05.
Followed by health and offshoots such as the regional health trust, | :10:06. | :10:09.
with a combined total of nearly ?400,000. By contrast, the most | :10:10. | :10:15.
prudent department is social development, spending less than | :10:16. | :10:21.
?45,000. The first and Deputy First Minister's office is yet to answer | :10:22. | :10:26.
the questions. At a time when we are being told because of austerity and | :10:27. | :10:31.
budget cuts we do not have enough money to fix the streetlights or fix | :10:32. | :10:36.
the potholes, it's astounding that, in the last two years, departmental | :10:37. | :10:41.
expenditure on hospitality has risen by a staggering 22%. However, | :10:42. | :10:45.
Stormont ministers argue that whether it is wooing potential | :10:46. | :10:50.
investors were dealing with local lobby groups, some generosity is | :10:51. | :10:56.
required. Invest Northern Ireland and the tourist board need to be | :10:57. | :10:59.
able to attract inward investors and tourists to Northern Ireland. If you | :11:00. | :11:04.
look at the stand from Invest Northern Ireland and the tourism | :11:05. | :11:08.
board, it has gone down over a number of years. I'm quite content | :11:09. | :11:12.
with the way in which we are managing our hospitality budget. | :11:13. | :11:15.
When I meet a delegation of teachers, parents or trade unionist | :11:16. | :11:20.
's, I offer them a cup of tea. That will be classed as hospitality and | :11:21. | :11:24.
build against the Department for Education. Is he advising them to | :11:25. | :11:29.
bring a fast with them and pour out their own tea and coffee? Without | :11:30. | :11:33.
dismissing the important responsibility, I encourage, and I | :11:34. | :11:37.
do look after public funds very sensibly. I think there is a | :11:38. | :11:40.
responsibility in all of us to do it. Ministers will not stop toasting | :11:41. | :11:46.
visiting VIPs, but they will be more aware than ever that there will be | :11:47. | :11:47.
asked to explain every last drop. A community centre in Newtownabbey | :11:48. | :11:52.
has been closed to clients following the latest in a series | :11:53. | :11:54.
of hate crime attacks. The Dunanney Centre in the Rathcoole | :11:55. | :11:56.
estate was daubed with sectarian It's the fourth attack | :11:57. | :11:59.
on the centre this year. The centre houses one of Northern | :12:00. | :12:13.
Ireland's busiest citizens advice bureau is, as well as work placement | :12:14. | :12:19.
programmes for young people. Work is only just begun on repairing damage | :12:20. | :12:24.
caused by a petrol attack in April. The centre has no heating following | :12:25. | :12:28.
fire damage to the boiler house. Police are treating the graffiti | :12:29. | :12:33.
attack last night as a hate crime. We have no idea why anybody would do | :12:34. | :12:37.
this to this building. We look after people from babies to pensioners, we | :12:38. | :12:40.
are very much the heart of this community and it beggars belief why | :12:41. | :12:44.
anybody would do this to us. The centre will remain closed to clients | :12:45. | :12:56.
today. The raft -- a state has its share of polymers of polymeric | :12:57. | :12:58.
reflux, but locals do not believe it is the work of a recognised | :12:59. | :13:03.
organisation, but being carried out by a small of individuals determined | :13:04. | :13:05.
to make a climate of fear. The world's fastest motorcycle races | :13:06. | :13:18.
under way. Join me for the latest. Students in Northern Ireland have | :13:19. | :13:24.
received their A-level results, with hundreds checking | :13:25. | :13:26.
in online from their travels abroad By midday 13,000 had logged on | :13:27. | :13:28.
from locations like Oman, The results they got were | :13:29. | :13:37.
generally very good. Compared to England and Wales, | :13:38. | :13:40.
local students have again scored well - but students elsewhere have | :13:41. | :13:42.
done better on the top A* grade. Our education correspondent | :13:43. | :13:46.
Maggie Taggart has this report. Only a small percentage of pupils | :13:47. | :13:57.
win the coveted A* grade. This year, 7.3% of Northern Ireland got | :13:58. | :14:01.
one. That is slightly less than across the three nations which do | :14:02. | :14:05.
A-levels. However, local students scored better on a wider range of | :14:06. | :14:09.
grades is examined. They are seven percentage points ahead in the four | :14:10. | :14:14.
top grades. Across all results, girls are performing better than | :14:15. | :14:23.
boys. Two A and a B. Sonic back I got him this morning, I needed three | :14:24. | :14:33.
to get in, so two A*s is good. Some were sensitive to the feelings of | :14:34. | :14:37.
others. You never know how people are feeling, if you asked your | :14:38. | :14:40.
results, you can tell, but it's not a day for posting. For Kaymer chav | :14:41. | :14:46.
School, said to be failing six formers a few years ago, this was a | :14:47. | :14:50.
testing day. As the first grammar school to be put into formal | :14:51. | :14:53.
intervention, the pressure was on to show that the school is on the road | :14:54. | :15:00.
to recovery. It hasn't gone entirely to plan. It was informal | :15:01. | :15:05.
intervention for two years. It rose to 68% of A two C grades. They hoped | :15:06. | :15:14.
to improve more, but fell slightly short. Just a little down. Certainly | :15:15. | :15:18.
within expectations. What has really pleased as is the uplift in our A* | :15:19. | :15:32.
and B grades. Traditional subjects like maths and religion are most | :15:33. | :15:37.
popular. There's been a 20% rise in those sitting film and TV courses. | :15:38. | :15:44.
There's a multi-million pound creative industry here. That will | :15:45. | :15:50.
require well qualified, motivated employees. It is only right and | :15:51. | :15:54.
proper that young people are sitting qualifications that gives them the | :15:55. | :15:58.
first step into creative industries. There is a growing trend for | :15:59. | :16:01.
students to go straight into jobs like accountancy, mixing work and | :16:02. | :16:05.
study. A lot of the clever companies are snapping up students directly | :16:06. | :16:09.
after A-level and trying to encourage them to go straight into | :16:10. | :16:12.
employment. We think that is a good option for a lot of students because | :16:13. | :16:15.
university life might not suit them. They pick up a lot of skills when | :16:16. | :16:19.
they go straight into employment and they are also not left in doubt. | :16:20. | :16:27.
Don't field is appointed if the dream grades have not been handed | :16:28. | :16:30.
out today. So now the A levels are done - | :16:31. | :16:35.
what next? While university remains | :16:36. | :16:37.
the choice for many, more students are opting to study foundation | :16:38. | :16:39.
degrees at their local college. There are thousands of places | :16:40. | :16:42.
on offer, with lower tuition fees, and the advantages that come with | :16:43. | :16:44.
studying while living at home. Julian Fowler has been to | :16:45. | :16:47.
South West College in Omagh. Colleges are no longer seen as a | :16:48. | :16:56.
place to come if you don't make the grades. Keirin got offers to study | :16:57. | :17:01.
civil engineering at two universities in Belfast, but he | :17:02. | :17:06.
decided to start by studying the first two years at his local | :17:07. | :17:11.
college. He pays less than half the tuition fees for the same | :17:12. | :17:18.
qualification. Della mac it means much less debt and if I had gone to | :17:19. | :17:21.
Belfast. Living at home, I will get | :17:22. | :17:25.
everything done for me. It's definitely a saving. I'm going to | :17:26. | :17:37.
Belfast now in September to finish off Michael location. | :17:38. | :17:41.
He says he is now ready to make the break and study away from home, and | :17:42. | :17:45.
has already gained contacts and experience in the construction | :17:46. | :17:51.
industry. Some 70% of students studying vocational courses at | :17:52. | :17:54.
colleges find jobs at the end. With foundation degrees in | :17:55. | :17:57.
colleges find jobs at the end. With foundation degrees the | :17:58. | :17:59.
construction disciplines, it is an excellent blend of the academic and | :18:00. | :18:04.
work experience. We at the college and noticing an increasing trend for | :18:05. | :18:10.
employers to have taken students on placement and seeks to appoint him | :18:11. | :18:14.
permanently. There are over 40 different | :18:15. | :18:17.
placement -- foundation degrees on offer, including sport and leisure, | :18:18. | :18:23.
engineering and manufacturing. With firm links to universities and | :18:24. | :18:26.
employers, these colleges are no longer second choice when it comes | :18:27. | :18:30.
to obtaining a qualification, and ultimately finding | :18:31. | :18:31.
Two of Londonderry's boxing legends have been honoured with | :18:32. | :18:38.
a special plinth near their original family home in the Bogside. | :18:39. | :18:41.
Jimmy and Billy "Spider" Kelly were a father and son | :18:42. | :18:44.
who made history by winning the same coveted boxing titles. | :18:45. | :18:47.
Rare BBC footage captured on the streets | :18:48. | :18:50.
of Derry more than fifty years ago gives a glimpse of the talent and | :18:51. | :18:53.
Here's our North-West reporter, Keiron Tourish. | :18:54. | :19:04.
Billy spider Kelly and his father Jimmy filmed together in the 1950s. | :19:05. | :19:12.
This was just before he matched his exploits in the ring. | :19:13. | :19:21.
Both won British and Empire featherweight titles, becoming the | :19:22. | :19:23.
first father and son combination to do so. He has worked his way up | :19:24. | :19:29.
under the expert eye of his father, who still trains with his son. | :19:30. | :19:37.
At Flint has now been erected in their honour. One former | :19:38. | :19:40.
professional says the Kelly's were inspirational. | :19:41. | :19:45.
They encouraged so many local people over the years. Boxing is not just | :19:46. | :19:51.
hitting people, it's about the style, the skill and the discipline. | :19:52. | :19:56.
It's about the respect. The Kelly's brought this to the forefront in | :19:57. | :20:03.
Gary. The tribute is greatly appreciated | :20:04. | :20:09.
by the family. It's a recognition in many ways of | :20:10. | :20:14.
the excellence that emerges in this area. | :20:15. | :20:19.
The community organisation campaigned for the monuments, saying | :20:20. | :20:24.
it underlines what can be achieved. These people are sporting heroes in | :20:25. | :20:28.
this area. They have achieved very high levels and are role models for | :20:29. | :20:32.
young people. Gary now has eight boxing clubs with | :20:33. | :20:35.
many youngsters hoping to follow in the footsteps of the Kelly boxers. | :20:36. | :20:40.
At the Commonwealth games, the great-grandson of Jimmy Kelly won a | :20:41. | :20:46.
bronze medal. That success in the Commonwealth Games serves to | :20:47. | :20:50.
underline the depth of talent currently in the sport of boxing. | :20:51. | :20:54.
There is no doubting the fact that many young fighters in this part of | :20:55. | :20:58.
the world were inspired by the unique exploits of this father and | :20:59. | :21:00.
son. Now we turn to sport and it's a busy | :21:01. | :21:03.
evening of racing at the Ulster Grand Prix- Stephen Watson is live | :21:04. | :21:07.
for us this evening in Dundrod. Action has been under way since 10am | :21:08. | :21:22.
here. There have been a couple of lengthy delays because of two | :21:23. | :21:27.
crashes. The first rider was taken to hospital with some suspected | :21:28. | :21:31.
broken bones, but his injuries are not life-threatening. The second | :21:32. | :21:34.
happened a short time ago and was much more serious. Joining me is the | :21:35. | :21:38.
former writer, Philip McCallan. What has happened? | :21:39. | :21:42.
Ella M in the last race, there was an accident. That would probably be | :21:43. | :21:52.
about 120 mph on a small machine. The writer has been taken to | :21:53. | :21:56.
hospital. We don't yet know his name. I believe they are assessing | :21:57. | :22:00.
his injuries at the moment. We will keep you informed and updated when | :22:01. | :22:04.
we have more information. The Ulster Grand Prix is the fastest | :22:05. | :22:07.
road race in the world. With that title comes danger, but the riders | :22:08. | :22:12.
know the risks. We do. As they passed rider, we do | :22:13. | :22:18.
know. Before you go anywhere, you do know the risks. I can hardly hear | :22:19. | :22:23.
myself with the noise in the background. This is a great track. | :22:24. | :22:28.
It is a world-famous race. Of course, there is going to be risks. | :22:29. | :22:33.
We riding motorcycles and can be accidents, but do know that. We are | :22:34. | :22:37.
aware about. The danger obviously is not putting | :22:38. | :22:42.
off riders. There are record number of newcomers. We have 48 newcomers. | :22:43. | :22:49.
I speak regularly in the motorcycle fraternity and riders from over the | :22:50. | :22:54.
world wants to come and write here. We have over 160 competitors. We | :22:55. | :22:58.
have visitors from all over the world. I think the Ulster Grand Prix | :22:59. | :23:05.
is strong. Thank you. We will keep you | :23:06. | :23:08.
up-to-date with all of the action here. | :23:09. | :23:10.
To local football and last night there was a full set of fixtures | :23:11. | :23:14.
Champions Cliftonville paid a visit to Portadown and in Belfast | :23:15. | :23:17.
After losing his first league match as Linfield manager, the pressure | :23:18. | :23:34.
was already on Warren Feeney. After Andy went off injured, Feeney made | :23:35. | :23:41.
his debut as a Linfield player at the 18th minute. But it was one | :23:42. | :23:45.
torrent you opened the scoring on the stroke of half-time. David | :23:46. | :23:48.
Scullion headed in as Stephen McAlorum give a free kick. In the | :23:49. | :23:59.
second half, the Blues battled back. The composed Peter Thompson lobs | :24:00. | :24:05.
Elliott Morris to equalise for the visitors. | :24:06. | :24:10.
Despite being down to ten men, Linfield completed the comeback with | :24:11. | :24:21.
Aaron Burns snatching the winner. I said to them, they have to believe | :24:22. | :24:25.
how good the score can be. I think they fully deserves the three points | :24:26. | :24:28.
in the end. At Shamrock Park, Gavin Taggert | :24:29. | :24:36.
scored arguably the goal of the evening. Timmy Adams header ensured | :24:37. | :24:46.
the two to draw. Last season's Irish cup winners, | :24:47. | :24:51.
Glenn Aven, defeated Warren cup -- Warrenpoint town to nil. In County | :24:52. | :25:03.
Tyrone, Swiss drew one each. Some great action last night. Great to | :25:04. | :25:06.
see such a big crowd here at Dundrod this evening. Racing will continue | :25:07. | :25:14.
into the evening here. The big Superbike races coming up shortly. | :25:15. | :25:23.
We will let you know how that goes. Good to see the sun shining. Here's | :25:24. | :25:25.
the weather. It Good to see the sun shining. Here's | :25:26. | :25:26.
the weather. It has not this evening. The clearing skies | :25:27. | :25:30.
overnight mean we will see this evening. The clearing skies | :25:31. | :25:38.
temperatures dropping. Down into single figures in some rural areas. | :25:39. | :25:44.
Staying mainly dry, there will be a bit of mist and fog | :25:45. | :25:47.
Staying mainly dry, there will be a morning. That should leave | :25:48. | :25:51.
reasonably quickly and Friday will not be a bad day. Pretty dry is a | :25:52. | :25:56.
little on the cool side. We will not be without the odd shower here and | :25:57. | :25:59.
there but they will be few and far between. It's a story of some drier, | :26:00. | :26:04.
brighter conditions. Not particularly warned though. | :26:05. | :26:07.
brighter conditions. Not this prevailing north-westerly | :26:08. | :26:07.
breeze, this prevailing north-westerly | :26:08. | :26:12.
down those temperatures, particularly across | :26:13. | :26:15.
down those temperatures, west. Top temperatures of 15 | :26:16. | :26:17.
degrees. A bit warmer as we come down into County Down. More | :26:18. | :26:22.
protection from that prevailing breeze. Not a bad day to and Friday. | :26:23. | :26:28.
Into the weekend, things do start to get a little it more unsettled. More | :26:29. | :26:36.
showery, cooler and breezy. That can be explained by this chart is | :26:37. | :26:40.
because while tomorrow's weather is protected by this ridge of high | :26:41. | :26:45.
pressure, but the weekend this low settles over Scotland. As the wind | :26:46. | :26:49.
whips around that, we will start to see some much more blustery | :26:50. | :26:53.
conditions. Saturday is going to be the best day of the weekend. It is a | :26:54. | :26:58.
cloudy day with an increased risk of seeing a shower, but a little bit | :26:59. | :27:02.
warmer underneath all of that cloud. Highs on Saturday of 18 degrees C. A | :27:03. | :27:07.
few showers around, hopefully not too much to get in the way of the | :27:08. | :27:13.
bikes at Dundrod. Sunday, keep an eye on these wind gauges. Really | :27:14. | :27:17.
starting to pick up that north-westerly breeze, holding the | :27:18. | :27:20.
temperatures down, particularly across the coast. Highs of 16 | :27:21. | :27:25.
degrees. Make the most of tomorrow because as we head into the start of | :27:26. | :27:29.
next week, it is a reasonably unsettles picture. It doesn't look | :27:30. | :27:32.
like the middle of August. can also keep in contact with | :27:33. | :27:35.
