Police have raided a suspected fuel laundering plant in County Tyrone in

connection with the investigation into the death of a man

in a shipping container at Tilbury docks in England last month.

Our reporter Chris Page has been following the latest developments.

Well, just to explain the background to this story, we need to go back

three weeks to the 16th of August where a man from Afghanistan was

found dead inside a shipping container at Tilbury docks in Essex.

34 other Afghan migrants were in the container as well and they all

survived. Subsequent to that two men from County Londonderry were charged

with immigration offences and yesterday at Liverpool docks third

man from Northern Ireland was arrested and he is 37 and from

Dungannon. During the third arrest the detectives raided a suspected

fuel laundering plant which they think was capable of producing 1000

litres of illegal fuel every year. The man under arrest is being

questioned on suspicion of manslaughter and has been

transferred to Essex Police. The authorities have been urged to

investigate claims that girls were abused by members of the security

forces while in the care of Some women have approached the

East Belfast Alliance MP Naomi Long, who's been calling

for the Kincora abuse scandal to be included in a Westminster historic

child abuse inquiry. Ms Long says

the latest allegations concern girls A number of people have since

approached me, particularly a group of women who claimed they were

abused when they were in care and, more than that, when they are

squandered from care they were abused by members of the security

forces and by the police who were really charged with returning them

to care but instead took advantage of the situation. What it says is

that there are serious issues in terms of child protection that were

breached at that point in time that really need to be looked at in a

more in-depth way than has been the case to date. A woman has been

assaulted after three masked men called to a house in Belfast last

night. Police say a scuffle took place and the woman suffered a wound

to her head. The Northern Ireland International

Air Show is underway in Portrush. The viewing point has changed this

year and, As the sun began to appear so did

the crowds. A lot of families came. Thousands of locals and tourists

streaming onto the beach and they did not have to wait long before the

action. Most were happy with the views of the spectacle but others

were looking for more, seeking an even closer view, the closer the

better. All the happier for it. It is brilliant, the best ever, it

really is, it is fantastic. Fantastic. Every year it rains so

this makes a change. To have such a big crowd is great. This year the

show has a new location here. Some things remain the same. The aircraft

on display, and tomorrow things remain the same. The aircraft

highlight when the Red Arrows arrived here. The pilots are ready

to entertain and the crowds are ready to capture the moment. I think

it will be quite a dramatic display tomorrow with the background setting

like that and the crowd will get some fantastic photographs as long

as the weather holds out. Whatever the weather tomorrow, when the Red

Arrows arrive they will have two match these performances.

In just a few hours time 16,000 people will pack the temporary venue

at Titanic Belfast for a world title fight. All eyes will be on the

Belfast boxer as he challenges for the title. The last time these met,

Belfast boxer as he challenges for Frampton stopped Martinez in the

19th round. Another former Belfast champion believes Frampton will do

it. I think tonight the Spanish are coming in as world champions and

then they are going home without their world title belt, that is what

I predict. Whether it is a knockout or what, it doesn't matter how it

comes, Frampton has his number, he is too good, he hits too hard and he

is too strong and too hungry. In the Rugby Ulster scored a try in

the last two minutes of their opening match to salvage the game

conditions. It will not be the warmest of days. The further south

you are the warm it will be. Pretty good running weather for the ten K

that starts tomorrow afternoon. After a reasonable Sunday looks like

high pressure will continue into the new week which means more settled

weather to come probably most of the second week of September. Initially

on Monday and Tuesday it will dry but quite cloudy and from Wednesday

onwards we will have higher temperatures and more sunshine.
