Three people from Northern Ireland and one from

the Republic have been injured in a plane crash in the United States.

The group were on an aircraft which came down in a public park

The light aircraft with four people from the Ulster flying club on board

crashed landed in this park in the city of St Petersburg after the

pilot reported engine failure. The group, who are on a trip to the US,

were on their final approach to the city's airfield on Monday morning

when the plane lost power. I saw the plane coming in low with the engine.

We did not hear motor. And he clipped that tree over there and the

winged sheared off. One of the guys was already out of the plague and he

was helping the other two out, so we got the other two, there was a young

girl, we got her out. The other guy got him out. They seemed all right,

little cut out. They were standing, the pilot was knocked out. At the

controls was Grant Jordan from Banga. He and his co-pilot Al Ryan,

both in their 50s, are in serious but stable condition in hospital.

Also board was a 15-year-old -- 58-year-old and a 17-year-old girl.

Yesterday, other members of the club turned up at the scene to -- collect

the belongings of the people. The pilot's why Susan Clarke is

preparing to fly to the US to be at her husband's side.

The police say they're treating the death of a 31 year old man

in west Belfast at the weekend as suspicious.

His body was found at a flat in St Mary's Gardens on Saturday.

greatest nations that have arisen worldwide and is the envy of the

world. But what do other people round here think about Scotland. The

decision? I think they should vote yes, in order to move away from the

Westminster political establishment. I would favour the yes vote. I hope

Scotland provide a need for people here for lush -- rational

discourse, politics ideas, two it is Scottish Nationalists have done.

What do the people think Scots will say on independence? I think it will

be unknown. Yes. No. I think it will be close but it will be yes. We will

find out who is right and wrong very soon. Talking to people along the

coastline today it is clear, even if Scotland decides to write to leave

the UK, the relationship between here and there will remain strong,

remaining good neighbours and good friends.
