:00:47.:00:53.

Another 24-year-old man who is understood to be the victim's

:00:54.:00:56.

brother was also injured in the incident.

:00:57.:01:00.

It is not thought to be life-threatening.

:01:01.:01:06.

This young man had as whole life in front of him.

:01:07.:01:09.

He played Gaelic football for a club nearby.

:01:10.:01:13.

It is heartbreaking to think what his family are going

:01:14.:01:15.

through today and our thoughts and prayers and the thoughts

:01:16.:01:21.

and prayers of the entire community are with him

:01:22.:01:23.

at this extremely sad and dramatic time.

:01:24.:01:32.

Rory McIlroy, the host delivered a very special win

:02:02.:02:03.

Sealing the victory in emphatic style.

:02:04.:02:06.

At the 18th hole he hit this unforgettable shot

:02:07.:02:08.

It is his first victory in six months but he told me it is one

:02:09.:02:21.

This is the tournament I have grown up watching as a kid.

:02:22.:02:36.

And playing as an amateur and dreaming about since

:02:37.:02:38.

To win it today and win it in a fashion that I did

:02:39.:02:43.

and being host as well, it means an awful lot.

:02:44.:02:45.

I do not usually get emotional about wins or golf but I had

:02:46.:02:49.

to really hold back and try to hold back the tears on the 18th green

:02:50.:02:52.

because it means a lot to me and so many people as well.

:02:53.:02:59.

I think I realised that when I was had time to think before

:03:00.:03:02.

It is a day that I will not forget for a long time.

:03:03.:03:18.

Rory donated his winnings of over 650,000 euros to his charity.

:03:19.:03:27.

:03:28.:03:29.

Peter Harte scored the third goal for Tyrone,

:03:30.:03:34.

who will now play either Cavan or Armagh in the semifinal.

:03:35.:03:38.

The final score at Celtic park - Derry twelve points , Tyrone three

:03:39.:03:41.

Now here's reporter Kevin Magee with a story

:03:42.:03:46.

The father of the Queens University student knocked down and killed by a

:03:47.:03:58.

drunk driver has thrown down a challenge to politicians come he

:03:59.:04:03.

wants the parties at Stormont to set aside political differences and

:04:04.:04:07.

unite to change the law and to bring in tougher sentences for drunk

:04:08.:04:11.

drivers who kill. My report begins on radio Ulster in the morning and

:04:12.:04:15.

you can hear more on BBC Newsline tomorrow.

:04:16.:04:16.

Let's get the weather forecast for the new week, here's Angie.

:04:17.:04:20.

We certainly saw some pretty lively downpours at times this weekend. The

:04:21.:04:28.

good news is apart from a few showers, there is more dry weather,

:04:29.:04:33.

some sunshine as well and mid week onwards we will see more cloud. The

:04:34.:04:38.

cloud is breaking up through tonight, the downpours either way,

:04:39.:04:41.

if you like showers becoming confined to the coast. Other than

:04:42.:04:47.

that, dry, clear spells inland, four or five in the countryside.

:04:48.:04:52.

Tomorrow, not a bad day, a lot of dry weather, sunshine as well, still

:04:53.:04:56.

a a few showers but nothing like those of this weekend. Scattered and

:04:57.:05:04.

in the west. Elsewhere, a mix of sunshine and showers across Britain

:05:05.:05:08.

and Ireland. Showers running down the spine of the country, Scotland

:05:09.:05:11.

on the Pennines to the Midlands and south-east. They could be heavy and

:05:12.:05:17.

thundery. Away from back, some sunshine and feeling cooler with a

:05:18.:05:24.

breeze. For Northern Ireland, by the afternoon, not looking bad. Many

:05:25.:05:29.

parts are dry, decent spells of sunshine around, temperatures

:05:30.:05:33.

depending on where you are. Temperatures on the coast 13 degrees

:05:34.:05:39.

but somewhere in the south with shelter and sunshine, 15 or 16.

:05:40.:05:44.

Through the rest of the week, high pressure is in charge initially to

:05:45.:05:48.

the north so not particularly warm, a squeeze with the isobars with low

:05:49.:05:51.

pressure moving across the North Sea. For many

:05:52.:06:09.

parts, Tuesday is mainly dry day, a fewer heavy downpours in the

:06:10.:06:13.

south-west of England and South West Island, a fair amount of cloud

:06:14.:06:15.

elsewhere in the east but the West this is the best of the sunshine on

:06:16.:06:19.

Tuesday as it will do on Wednesday. The cloud increases as low pressure

:06:20.:06:21.

continues to move in bringing wet weather to northern England and the

:06:22.:06:23.

East of Scotland. Elsewhere, mainly dry and dry on Thursday, showers

:06:24.:06:24.

after three o'clock. Our next BBC Newsline

:06:25.:06:25.

bulletin is at twenty five Until then you can keep up to date

:06:26.:06:28.

with local news on BBC Radio Ulster
