A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder

after another teenager was stabbed in the face in north Belfast.

The 19-year-old victim is in a stable

The fight broke out near homes in the Harcourt Drive, just off the

Cliftonville Road, at around seven o'clock. It is not clear how it

started. And 19-year-old man was stabbed in the cheek. Years in a

stable condition in hospital. A 17-year-old has been arrested and is

being questioned on suspicion of attempted murder. Residents tried to

break up the fight. This is a strong community. The last thing this

community needs is these people fighting like this. Young people

witnessed this. This is one of the sad points. People were out on the

streets trying to stop these people from fighting. Police are still

investigating exactly what happened here. They have appealed for anyone

who saw the attack or has information about it to get in

contact. A lorry driver has been arrested
