of a much respected colleagte here at the BBC ` Trevor Fry.

For 17 years, Trevor shared his warmth and passion

for the West with BBC local radio listeners ` most recently presenting

the Sunday Morning Breakfast Show and the Late Show.

An award`winning broadcaster and valued friend, he'll be much

missed by us all, and our thoughts are with his family at this time.

How the everyone knows that Trevor had a connection

with his listeners. They take great delight in saying that everx night

they went to bed with Trevor Fry and he used to play on that jokd all the

time and it is because he h`d that personality and that warmth that

people felt that they knew him and regarded him not as a presenter but

as a friend. For many years Trevor presented the

Sunday breakfast programme `cross morning from 6am for a spechal

tribute as we remember Trevor Fry. That's all for now `
