stabbed multiple times on Thursday night, as he cycled home through | :00:33. | :00:37.
this underpass, near Swindon railway station. Tonight, a 28`year`old man | :00:38. | :00:42.
has been arrested on suspichon of murder. It comes on the day that | :00:43. | :00:49.
tributes were paid to Tom Rogers, including at the pub where he had | :00:50. | :00:52.
disgusted by what has happened. He's just going to be very, very missed. | :00:53. | :01:01.
He was so reliable. Everybody cared about him. He was a good melber of | :01:02. | :01:05.
our team. And he was always here. He was here a lot, he knew a lot of | :01:06. | :01:09.
tribute today, David Rogers saying: "It hasn't sunk in my dad h`s gone | :01:10. | :01:26.
and that I won't be able to spend time with him any more. I rdally | :01:27. | :01:30.
feel his loss and will alwaxs miss my dad." His brother and two sisters | :01:31. | :01:35.

confirmed by officers. Tonight the 28`year`old is being questioned at | :01:55. | :01:56.
Swindon's Gable Cross policd station. He was also arrestdd on | :01:57. | :01:59.
suspicion of a separate inchdent of robbery and grievous bodily harm | :02:00. | :02:01.
with intent, which occurred on Thursday, 8 May at the s`me | :02:02. | :02:04.
The police said Tom Rogers's family is being kept informed | :02:05. | :02:09.
And they are still keen to hear from anyone who may have bedn | :02:10. | :02:12.
School children from across Gloucestershire have been fhnding | :02:13. | :02:22.
out about forced marriage today The act was made illegal earlier this | :02:23. | :02:25.
month ` and now experts want everyone to be able to spot the | :02:26. | :02:28.
signs to help make it a thing of the past. Last year, there were more | :02:29. | :02:31.
than 1300 cases of suspected forced marriage in the UK ` more than 00 | :02:32. | :02:35.
were in the South West. 15% involved a child being forced into a marriage | :02:36. | :02:38.
they didn't want ` the vast majority of cases involved girls or women. | :02:39. | :02:42.
We see forced marriage as vdry much part of domestic abuse, gendrally. | :02:43. | :02:45.
It's very much the focus and energy of Gloucester Constabulary `t the | :02:46. | :02:48.
moment to raise the profile and status of domestic abuse. To make | :02:49. | :02:51.
sure it's not tolerable. We don t tolerate it, | :02:52. | :02:53.
Earlier I spoke to Jasvinder Sanghera, who's been campaigning for | :02:54. | :02:59.
years for more to be done to protect people who are being forced to | :03:00. | :03:03.
marry. Her sister was so unhappy in her marriage she committed suicide, | :03:04. | :03:06.
and Jasvinder herself ran away from home. | :03:07. | :03:12.
This was presented to me as an arranged marriage and it was | :03:13. | :03:16.
As a result of that, my family to go out of educ`tion. | :03:17. | :03:20.
I was held a prisoner in my own home at the age of 15 1/2, | :03:21. | :03:24.
I ran away from home when I was 16 years old and my family reported him | :03:25. | :03:31.
I had two choices, as far as my family were concerned. | :03:32. | :03:35.
I either came home and marrhed today said, or from this day forw`rd, | :03:36. | :03:38.
Subsequently, I have been disowned for over 35 years. | :03:39. | :03:47.
How difficult is that, to break that cycle? | :03:48. | :03:52.
You said you ran away, but culturally it must be difficult | :03:53. | :03:57.
Extremely difficult because your family make yot feel | :03:58. | :04:02.
guilty, ashamed, and my pardnts were Sikh and made me believe I was | :04:03. | :04:05.
a bad Sikh, going against my culture, religion and tr`dition. | :04:06. | :04:09.
And of course hese things were not true. | :04:10. | :04:12.
Nowhere in any faith does it say you can support forced marrhage | :04:13. | :04:15.
But as a young person, thesd were my parents, I loved them de`rly | :04:16. | :04:20.
They made me feel like I was the perpetrator who had | :04:21. | :04:24.
It took me a long time to own being a victim. | :04:25. | :04:28.
What do you think about this change in the law? | :04:29. | :04:31.
I'm extremely supportive of the change in the law, bdcause, | :04:32. | :04:37.
35 years ago as a 14`year`old girl, I could not say to my familx, | :04:38. | :04:40.
For the first time, today in England and, a victim can now own this | :04:41. | :04:46.
Professionals dealing with this can place it firmly within the law and | :04:47. | :04:50.
not be misguided and thinking that somehow this is part of our culture. | :04:51. | :04:53.
So, a victim is more likely to get the right response and be bdlieved. | :04:54. | :05:00.
What do you think about schools taking up this issue? | :05:01. | :05:05.
I have to say, schools are at the heart of prevention. | :05:06. | :05:10.
The disappointing thing is that nationally, we're not seeing a | :05:11. | :05:12.
We are still having ad hoc schools doing this. | :05:13. | :05:17.
There are many more schools out there and we need them to engage. | :05:18. | :05:21.
We need a national programmd of engagement | :05:22. | :05:22.
Thousands of people have bedn pouring out of the Glastonbtry | :05:23. | :05:38.
Festival throughout the day. For four days the crowds have rocked to | :05:39. | :05:41.
the sounds of everything from Dolly Parton to Metallica. The ro`ds | :05:42. | :05:44.
around Worthy Farm were congested for most of the day. As over a | :05:45. | :05:47.
170,000 revellers left the site after another year of the world | :05:48. | :05:49.
The festival was absolutely fantastic. I love every mintte. I am | :05:50. | :06:07.
60 and I am going to start coming every year. I need a shower I hope | :06:08. | :06:17.
they got one. After rain, sunshine and rahnbows at | :06:18. | :06:20.
the Glastonbury Festival ovdr the past four days, I'm going to leave | :06:21. | :06:23.
you with Ian, who'll be abld to tell us what the weather will brhng over | :06:24. | :06:27.
the next few days. We so all kinds of weather over the | :06:28. | :06:42.
weekend. One key change is `n enhanced chance of showers | :06:43. | :06:50.
throughout the afternoon. Tonight, these guys will clear. `` the skies | :06:51. | :06:57.
will clear. One or two showdrs may will clear. One or two showdrs may | :06:58. | :07:10.
crop up. Those will drift northwards as the date wears on. `` dax | :07:11. | :07:18.
continues. Temperatures getting into continues. Temperatures getting into | :07:19. | :07:27.
the low 20s tomorrow. They will be a breakdown in the weather as they get | :07:28. | :07:29.
to Saturday. Thursday. We will cling on to that | :07:30. | :07:34.
fine weather for Friday, before it turns unsettled to tr weekend. | :07:35. | :07:38.
There were a few aspects to the forecast today which did not go to | :07:39. | :07:47.
plan. There were more showers than | :07:48. | :07:52.
expected. The ones which did develop were heavy. They moved through | :07:53. | :07:56.
Wimbledon and west London. They have fizzled out now. | :07:57. | :07:58. |
