Welcome to Wales Today. Our top story tonight: | :00:05. | :00:08.
On the edge. The battle to save caravans teetering on this headland | :00:08. | :00:18.

Our other headlines tonight: More treatment in your home. The | :00:27. | :00:31.
Welsh Government unveils its plans for the NHS, but they come in for | :00:31. | :00:34.
heavy criticism. It's a bit like Groundhog Day. | :00:34. | :00:37.
We've had three strategic plans for the health service since this | :00:37. | :00:47.

Assembly was created. They all say pretty much the same. | :00:50. | :00:52.
Police in Swansea launch a crackdown on heroin dealers and | :00:52. | :00:55.
users. When you're a heroin addict, you go | :00:55. | :00:58.
to bed, you wake up, you open your eyes and you think straightaway, | :00:59. | :01:08.
where am I going to get money from? Where am I going to score from? | :01:08. | :01:12.
This company has been going strong for 50 years. With a small growth | :01:13. | :01:16.
in the economy today, we looking at the state of businesses up and down | :01:16. | :01:21.
Wales. And one boat, 3,000 miles, three | :01:22. | :01:31.

months at sea. Two firefighters' Good evening. Dozens of caravan | :01:32. | :01:35.
owners have had a lucky escape after a landslide left their homes | :01:35. | :01:40.
teetering on the edge of a cliff. Nobody was injured at Porthkerry | :01:40. | :01:43.
Leisure Park in the Vale of Glamorgan, but it's sparked | :01:43. | :01:47.
concerns about the continued erosion of the coastline. Carwyn | :01:47. | :01:50.
Jones reports on a day when caravan owners could only watch from a | :01:50. | :01:59.
distance as the ground disappeared From the air, you can see just how | :01:59. | :02:03.
close these caravans came to falling over the edge. It was last | :02:03. | :02:05.
night's heavy rain which caused the landslide at Porthkerry Leisure | :02:05. | :02:11.
Park, leaving 15 caravans teetering on the brink of a cliff. Hundreds | :02:11. | :02:15.
of tonnes of rock were thrown onto the beach below. No-one was injured, | :02:15. | :02:18.
but this photograph taken this morning by one of the caravan | :02:18. | :02:23.
owners shows just how dangerous the situation had become. By this | :02:23. | :02:25.
afternoon, tractors were being used to slowly pull the caravans away | :02:25. | :02:35.
:02:35. | :02:43. | ||
from the cliff edge one by one. The only thing stopping these rocks | :02:43. | :02:46.
from falling to the ground of the roots of an overhanging tree. | :02:47. | :02:50.
This is how the Porthkerry coastline looked in 2005. And even | :02:50. | :02:53.
then, the caravans were close to the cliff edge. Even today, you | :02:53. | :02:56.
could see the results of recent landslides. Some local people say | :02:56. | :03:03.
this was just an accident waiting to happen. I have seen at least | :03:03. | :03:07.
three a ruck falls within his half mile coastline, often caused by a | :03:07. | :03:12.
combination of heavy rain and earlier frost. I would not like to | :03:12. | :03:19.
live on the edge of a cliff. It was going to happen sooner or later. It | :03:19. | :03:24.
was a case of rocks waiting to fall. Officers from the Vale of Glamorgan | :03:24. | :03:26.
Council, who monitor this coastline, are now assessing the affects of | :03:27. | :03:29.
last night's landslide and how best to make the area safe for | :03:30. | :03:32.
holidaymakers, people living nearby and especially those who use the | :03:32. | :03:36.
beach below. Meanwhile, the slow and steady task of pulling the | :03:36. | :03:39.
caravans back to safety continues. Leaving the NHS in Wales as it is | :03:39. | :03:42.
is not an option. The stark warning tonight from the Health Minister | :03:42. | :03:45.
who outlined her vision for the health service over the next five | :03:45. | :03:48.
years. Lesley Griffiths said the status quo was no longer viable and | :03:48. | :03:51.
that far-reaching changes are needed. Tonight, the government's | :03:51. | :03:54.
plans have been criticised as too little too late. I'll be speaking | :03:55. | :03:57.
to the minister in a moment. First, our health correspondent Arwyn | :03:57. | :04:06.
Jones. Since the the formation of the NHS, | :04:06. | :04:11.
there has always been doctors and nurses based in hospitals, there to | :04:11. | :04:15.
help when we need them. Today, the health minister said it was no | :04:15. | :04:20.
longer possible to continue as it has. Outlining his vision for the | :04:20. | :04:25.
future of the NHS, she made her case for the need for change. | :04:25. | :04:30.
will never attract world-class to staff and tackle the patterns of | :04:30. | :04:35.
inequality. We must strengthen community-based care and create a | :04:35. | :04:39.
network of centres of excellence. This is what it means in practice. | :04:39. | :04:45.
Moving doctors and nurses out of hospitals and into communities. In | :04:45. | :04:49.
West Wales, they are trying out this scheme. Patients are seen at | :04:49. | :04:59.
:04:59. | :05:00. | ||
home by a nurse. The Lady's needs are discussed with a GP and social | :05:00. | :05:04.
workers in a telecoms friends, using technology to make life | :05:04. | :05:08.
easier. It reduces the need for hospital treatment and could save | :05:08. | :05:12.
money. It is the kind of thing the Welsh Government is very keen on. | :05:12. | :05:16.
They have been working with nurses about the changes to the way they | :05:16. | :05:22.
will be working. It is about doing things tough hundred -- differently. | :05:22. | :05:32.
We want people to have an achievable option. The message, | :05:32. | :05:38.
they had seen it all before. It is a bit like Groundhog Day. We have | :05:38. | :05:42.
had three strategic plans for the health service since this Assembly | :05:42. | :05:50.
was created. They all say pretty much the same. Here, they have | :05:50. | :05:53.
already lost some services from their local hospital. And even | :05:53. | :05:57.
before the latest plans are published, health campaigners fear | :05:57. | :06:02.
they are about to lose more. If you talk to the local population, they | :06:02. | :06:07.
will tell you clearly that they are increasingly having to travel south | :06:07. | :06:15.
for their general surgical services. And also to a much lesser degree, | :06:15. | :06:20.
general medical services. Today, the health minister said that some | :06:20. | :06:24.
specialist services like cardiology and cancer treatment might need to | :06:24. | :06:30.
move. She insisted that would not mean downgrading district general | :06:30. | :06:33.
hospitals. It is right and proper that services are concentrated in | :06:33. | :06:37.
two specific areas so that that specialism is allowed to continue | :06:37. | :06:42.
and to develop and so be it. People will have to travel. So for more | :06:42. | :06:46.
than 60 years, the NHS has become a familiar face, but there is no | :06:46. | :06:51.
doubt it is about to go through some big changes. We were not know | :06:51. | :06:54.
what they were before Salmons, but the political battle has already | :06:54. | :06:58.
begun. Let's talk to the health minister. | :06:58. | :07:02.
Good evening. This is the same policy as five years ago. New | :07:02. | :07:08.
wrapping paper, same policy. What has changed? This announcement was | :07:08. | :07:13.
me setting out a policy, Standards and direction for local health | :07:13. | :07:18.
boards. The status quo is not a lot should -- not an option any more. | :07:18. | :07:23.
We have overstretched services and recruitment issues. We know the | :07:23. | :07:27.
health service has to change. have seen this suggestion before. | :07:27. | :07:31.
Yes, but we have made progress. There needs to be much more rapid | :07:31. | :07:35.
progress to make sure we have the services we deserve within the NHS. | :07:36. | :07:41.
He promised you would not close any district hospitals, presumably you | :07:41. | :07:44.
can keep the names of the district hospitals but to reduce the range | :07:44. | :07:49.
of services available. I have not seen any plans the local health | :07:49. | :07:55.
boards are bringing forward. We will see a shift of services. There | :07:55. | :08:01.
has to be. People want to be treated closer to home. They do not | :08:02. | :08:05.
want to be in hospitals. With technology, they do not need to be | :08:05. | :08:10.
in hospitals any more. That is just code for cutting the range of | :08:10. | :08:14.
services. Not at all. Those services will be a have to be | :08:14. | :08:20.
provided in a different guise. It will be a much more about | :08:20. | :08:23.
integration of primary and secondary care. You say this is | :08:23. | :08:28.
about delivering a better NHS. It is just about saving money. It is | :08:28. | :08:35.
not. We have had a huge cut in our budget from the UK Government. 860 | :08:35. | :08:40.
million. We have to ensure our NHS has the money it provides. As we go | :08:40. | :08:45.
through the year, services have to change. | :08:45. | :08:49.
It's been called a super dairy. Powys Council's planning committee | :08:49. | :08:52.
say they are minded to approve the application for a milking parlour | :08:52. | :08:55.
for 1,000 cows near Welshpool. Planners had recommended that the | :08:55. | :08:58.
application should be refused. The council says the decision makes it | :08:58. | :09:08.
:09:08. | :09:08. | ||
Apology for the loss of subtitles for 55 seconds | :09:08. | :10:04.
likely that the plans will be given When you what an addict, you will | :10:04. | :10:07.
open your eyes and you think straight away, where my going to | :10:07. | :10:11.
get money from? You get up, you go out, you get the money for the | :10:11. | :10:18.
heroine, you buy it, you do it, and then it starts all over again. | :10:18. | :10:24.
says she was hooked by a dealer who offered her a free first hit. Her | :10:24. | :10:29.
curiosity when she got caught in a downward spiral. Police estimate | :10:29. | :10:33.
there are thousands of users in the Swansea area alone. That is why | :10:33. | :10:36.
dozens of rates have been carried out to try and dismantle the drugs | :10:36. | :10:40.
trade in the city from top to bottom. Some of these drug dealers | :10:40. | :10:46.
have stated they are untouchable. My message to them is, you were not | :10:46. | :10:50.
untouchable. We will find due. We will get you. We will put you | :10:50. | :10:55.
behind bars. Users are being warned that their behaviour will not be | :10:55. | :11:00.
tolerated. 80% of repeat offenders are fuelled by a heron and with | :11:00. | :11:08.
addicts leading up to one -- up to 100 a day to fuel their addiction. | :11:08. | :11:16.
We know from national figures that each addict could cost society up | :11:16. | :11:20.
to 850,000. When you work through all of the treatment, or the | :11:20. | :11:25.
criminal justice issues that arise, you can see a significant number of | :11:25. | :11:30.
cost involved. Drug projects open a lifeline but limited resources mean | :11:30. | :11:34.
many addicts drift back to the streets while they wait for help. | :11:34. | :11:39.
We have got excellent resources in Swansea. We have some brilliant | :11:39. | :11:45.
agencies. We have not got enough. Unless we receive for more funding, | :11:45. | :11:53.
it could get significantly worse. Amy is now on a treatment programme. | :11:53. | :11:57.
Her first attempt to get herself of heroin. But the amount of help | :11:57. | :12:02.
available cannot match the reprieve did -- increasing number of people | :12:02. | :12:08.
being referred, the problem will be caught in a vicious circle. | :12:08. | :12:14.
Martin Blakebrough is chief executive of the society | :12:14. | :12:18.
Kaleidoscope. That police report suggested that this could cost | :12:18. | :12:25.
taxpayers up to 850,000 per adult. Are you surprised by that? It seems | :12:25. | :12:30.
a huge figure. I presume he is looking up the crimes they commit | :12:30. | :12:36.
before they get into treatment. It is astronomical. But I think if we | :12:36. | :12:41.
get them into treatment, we can save the cost considerably and we | :12:41. | :12:46.
can save lives. You would work with addicts across the country. We | :12:46. | :12:50.
obviously have a serious problem. We know we have a problem. What is | :12:50. | :12:55.
the solution? The solution is making sure that treatment is | :12:55. | :13:00.
accessible. Sometimes, we force treatment on people, which is not | :13:00. | :13:05.
helpful. Ultimately, they are not ready for services. The Rev -- they | :13:06. | :13:10.
rebel against it. The need to make sure we have an agenda of change to | :13:10. | :13:20.
:13:20. | :13:22. | ||
If people are left out with no job, no housing, no support, how are | :13:22. | :13:27.
they going to get off their drug problem? I can only provide so much. | :13:27. | :13:31.
We have just been reporting on the financial squeeze that the NHS is | :13:31. | :13:35.
going to be facing. People might say, why should we be spending lots | :13:35. | :13:41.
of money on heroin addicts went schools and hospitals need money? | :13:41. | :13:46.
The simple answer is that drug use costs taxpayers through crime, | :13:46. | :13:49.
through people who aren't functioning in the community any | :13:49. | :13:55.
more, through rates of total disillusionment. We saw the riots | :13:55. | :13:59.
in the UK. We have to do something to tackle that disillusionment. | :13:59. | :14:04.
That is the reason people often take drugs. | :14:04. | :14:11.
Much more on this story on Week In Week Out tonight at 10:35pm on BBC | :14:11. | :14:15.
One Wales. Much more to come before 7:00pm: | :14:15. | :14:17.
The founder of Rachel's Dairies says businesses in the countryside | :14:17. | :14:22.
need more support. And 3,000 miles and three months at | :14:22. | :14:32.
:14:32. | :14:36. | ||
sea - two men in a small boat head First, the UK economy has grown | :14:36. | :14:43.
between July and September by just 0.5 %, the rise has been held by a | :14:43. | :14:47.
key financial and service sectors. In Wales there is particular | :14:47. | :14:50.
reliance on the manufacturing industry. How has that small growth | :14:50. | :14:59.
been reflected here? Our reporter is at a factory. | :14:59. | :15:03.
This company is celebrating 50 years in manufacture ring. It is a | :15:03. | :15:07.
family owned company and they make the tools that make packaging for | :15:07. | :15:12.
the food industry including these silver trays and also the use of | :15:12. | :15:18.
plastic cartons. 82 people work here, including 11 apprentices. The | :15:18. | :15:22.
company says it has had to react to the current economic climate it has | :15:22. | :15:27.
been affected by. It has lost some customers close to home but it has | :15:27. | :15:31.
been able to pick up some contracts further down the supply chain. We | :15:31. | :15:37.
will be finding out more about this company later but another key area | :15:37. | :15:42.
for the Welsh economy is tourism. Small increase in its GDP we hear | :15:42. | :15:48.
today but as our reporter has been finding out, many sections of that | :15:48. | :15:50.
industry have been feeling the pinch. | :15:50. | :15:55.
Not so much an icy blast but an economic point is quite chilly out | :15:55. | :16:00.
there. That is despite the UK's better-than-expected growth figures. | :16:00. | :16:04.
The Sun may have been shining over the marina today but here just as | :16:04. | :16:09.
everywhere else, we have felt the effects of the financial downturn. | :16:10. | :16:13.
This marina and sailing in general are important economic drivers in | :16:13. | :16:18.
this part of north Wales. A study in 2000 to suggest they supported | :16:18. | :16:28.
:16:28. | :16:29. | ||
200 jobs. The last few years have seen a decline in the number of | :16:30. | :16:36.
boat using the arena. There are vacant births. Richard Rhones a | :16:36. | :16:39.
boat balloting business. He has noticed a change. | :16:39. | :16:45.
We are not as busy as we used to be a few years ago. Maybe we do 50 | :16:46. | :16:50.
votes a year but we might be down to 30. | :16:50. | :16:57.
Paul Hurley will have to work hard to attract boat owners. Here, the | :16:57. | :17:00.
council has pledged to sort out some infrastructure problems. Silk | :17:00. | :17:06.
is to be dredged from the marina entrance and berthing fees frozen. | :17:06. | :17:13.
At the sailing club, they insist it is a world-class venue. | :17:13. | :17:19.
We haven't had to advertise or market this area before. Due to the | :17:19. | :17:25.
economic climate, people have tightened up a little bit. It is | :17:25. | :17:30.
time now to go out and market this place as a destination for sailing. | :17:30. | :17:33.
What goes for the marina goes for the rest of the Welsh economy. | :17:33. | :17:39.
Wales has to be attractive to investors. How do we discover how | :17:39. | :17:42.
we are doing it compared to the rest of the UK? There are no | :17:42. | :17:44.
specific Welsh figures at the moment. | :17:44. | :17:49.
We need to insure Welsh GDP figures are available. That is something we | :17:49. | :17:53.
are looking at. Here they are looking at turning | :17:53. | :18:03.
:18:03. | :18:04. | ||
the corner. Investment and marketing are key. | :18:04. | :18:07.
Companies weathering the storm, there. What about starting out at a | :18:07. | :18:14.
time like this? One of Wales's best known brands, Rachel's Organics, | :18:14. | :18:18.
started in the 1980s during a difficult economic climate. Our | :18:18. | :18:22.
reporter has been speaking to its founders to find out about their | :18:22. | :18:28.
challengers. Now based on a local Industrial | :18:28. | :18:33.
Estate, this is Aberystwyth's biggest private-sector employer | :18:33. | :18:37.
with over 150 members of staff. Rachel and her husband sold the | :18:37. | :18:42.
company for several million pounds 12 years ago but insist the journey | :18:42. | :18:46.
wasn't easy. They say economic parallels between the start of the | :18:46. | :18:52.
80s and now aren't lost on them. It was incredibly difficult. | :18:52. | :18:56.
Looking for money when we were there was very hard. We had to put | :18:57. | :19:03.
the farm on the line. That was the only security we had and that is | :19:03. | :19:07.
how we raised the money. We took a huge gamble. | :19:07. | :19:12.
You must be positive. You must believe that you can move forward. | :19:12. | :19:16.
Yes, it will be difficult, but you have to bring everyone along with | :19:16. | :19:21.
you but that is what we are able to do in communities, especially here | :19:21. | :19:24.
in West Wales. After withstanding pressure from | :19:24. | :19:28.
supermarkets to move the company out of the mid-Wales, Gareth says | :19:28. | :19:31.
more has to be done to help rural communities. | :19:31. | :19:36.
At the moment, the impression I am getting it is about development in | :19:36. | :19:40.
urban areas. There are lots of people there but we can't neglect | :19:40. | :19:46.
the rural areas. That is fundamental. | :19:46. | :19:51.
Rachel's Organics takes another step forward. This is the company's | :19:51. | :20:01.
:20:01. | :20:05. | ||
Things have come a long way since Rachel created the first yoghurt in | :20:05. | :20:09.
her farmhouse kitchen almost 30 years ago. | :20:09. | :20:14.
Sales grew and we grew on the farm. We opened the farm to the public | :20:14. | :20:18.
and that helped us enormously in introducing the product. | :20:18. | :20:25.
Freak snowstorms back in 1980 to melt that milk vans couldn't go up | :20:25. | :20:30.
to the dairy. Rachel had to find another way of using the milk. She | :20:30. | :20:34.
turned to her grandmother's recipes and produced yoghurt, cheese and | :20:34. | :20:39.
butter at the farm. The rest is history. | :20:39. | :20:46.
So, a company that has continued to grow like this one. But in Swansea | :20:46. | :20:49.
a packaging firm is to close with the loss of 49 jobs. Staff at | :20:49. | :20:51.
British Polythene Industries were told of a consultation period today | :20:51. | :20:53.
in advance of the company relocating work to its sites at | :20:53. | :21:03.

Flint or Norwich. So let us cut back to Llantrisant | :21:03. | :21:07.
and find out what they have been doing here and how they have been | :21:07. | :21:13.
managing to weather the storm. Ian began his life here as a boy. 21 | :21:13. | :21:17.
years ago you were here as an apprentice. What have you been | :21:17. | :21:21.
doing here as a company over the past couple of years to whether | :21:21. | :21:25.
this economic climate? At the moment, business is strong. | :21:25. | :21:29.
We have a full order book but we have a lot of long-standing | :21:29. | :21:34.
customers coupled with the business we have brought in. That means we | :21:34. | :21:38.
have managed to keep work in the factory and we are good. | :21:38. | :21:43.
Russell, you keep a good eye on these matters as a business analyst. | :21:44. | :21:47.
Slight growth in GDP, anything to celebrate? | :21:47. | :21:51.
Obviously, a rise is better than a fall but this is a rise on the last | :21:51. | :21:56.
quarter, which was a particularly bad one. We had the Tsunami and an | :21:56. | :22:00.
extra bank holiday as well. Going forward, whether this is a start of | :22:00. | :22:06.
a trend, I doubt it. We have a particular alliance with | :22:06. | :22:09.
the manner factoring industry in Wales. What are the challenges that | :22:09. | :22:13.
lie ahead? Is it a case of finding out new markets? | :22:13. | :22:18.
Absolutely, as you say, manufacture rain in Wales is very important. 24 | :22:18. | :22:25.
% of GDP here, compared to 11 % in the rest of the UK. We need to look | :22:25. | :22:28.
at the emerging markets that we can export to, such as Brazil, | :22:28. | :22:34.
Indonesia, Russia and we have that Strongman effect during base. We | :22:34. | :22:38.
have to use that to have a true recovery. | :22:38. | :22:41.
Christmas is coming and many customers and consumers are saying | :22:41. | :22:45.
they can't afford it? This is right and consumers are | :22:45. | :22:49.
looking for every single bargain they can get. Many are shopping | :22:49. | :22:53.
online, shopping early. They are trying to save the pennies. This is | :22:53. | :22:56.
a start of a gloomy trend at Christmas time. | :22:57. | :23:03.
Thank you to you both. Back to the studio. | :23:03. | :23:06.
The Swansea Cork ferry will stop all services with immediate effect, | :23:06. | :23:08.

offered a full refund. Once more goes, two men, three | :23:20. | :23:24.
months at sea. Cardiff firefighters planning to row across the Atlantic | :23:24. | :23:28.
for charity. Their epic journey begins in the Canary Islands and | :23:28. | :23:32.
ends in Barbados, a distance of 3,000 miles, made all the more | :23:32. | :23:37.
remarkable when you consider the pair have never rowed at sea before. | :23:37. | :23:42.
In the calm waters of Cardiff Bay, it really looks like plain sailing. | :23:42. | :23:48.
These firefighters know it will be anything but. It is a 3,000 mile | :23:48. | :23:51.
journey with very little time to rest. | :23:51. | :23:56.
During shift. Two hours on, two hours off, 24 hours-a-day. You have | :23:56. | :24:02.
to get someone on the orders to keep the boat straight. Otherwise, | :24:02. | :24:07.
the boat will slide on to the waves. That leaves you with a chance of | :24:07. | :24:14.
capsizing. We are planning up to 90 days on | :24:14. | :24:20.
the boat. Realistically it is about When John's wife developed cancer | :24:20. | :24:24.
three years ago, he decided he wanted to raise funds for a breast | :24:24. | :24:29.
cancer charity. It is hoped their Atlantic -- will raise thousands | :24:29. | :24:35.
for that and other good causes. I have always been an armchair | :24:35. | :24:39.
adventurer. I read all the books and I fancied doing a big adventure | :24:39. | :24:45.
of my own. The opportunity arose to get the boat and I seized it with | :24:45. | :24:48.
both hands. Two years later, here we are. | :24:48. | :24:51.
It is all the more remarkable when you learn they have never rowed | :24:51. | :24:56.
before training for this event. We were both rowing novices, much | :24:56. | :24:59.
to the amusement of the local rowing club. We have heard some | :24:59. | :25:03.
choice comments from them but we had three months to pick it up. | :25:03. | :25:10.
They say it is a 10,000 calories a day Byrne. You can only eat around | :25:10. | :25:19.

I'm not sure it will be the easiest of journeys. Let us see what | :25:35. | :25:43.
It will be getting windier but it will be quite mild. This evening, | :25:43. | :25:49.
clear conditions. A bit more cloud pushing in from the rest but it | :25:49. | :25:53.
should be largely dry this evening as we go into the overnight period. | :25:53. | :25:57.
Temperatures at their lowest around nine Celsius. The winds picking up | :25:57. | :26:01.
through the evening. This area of low pressure is responsible for the | :26:01. | :26:06.
wind and rain. The next couple of days looking messy. First thing | :26:06. | :26:10.
tomorrow morning is a drier start for many of us. Hints of brightness | :26:10. | :26:14.
for Anglesey. Quite quickly it will cloud over and the rain gets going | :26:14. | :26:17.
from the south-west as we go into the afternoon with highs of 14 | :26:17. | :26:23.
Celsius. Not the best looking end to the day tomorrow. Into the | :26:23. | :26:29.
evening, the rain will push northwards. Heavy at times. 20 mm | :26:29. | :26:35.
of rain in the southern counties. Into Thursday, that should pass and | :26:35. | :26:40.
lingering over parts of the north- east and Powys. A mild night with | :26:40. | :26:44.
temperatures not changing much from the daytime, ranging between 12-14 | :26:44. | :26:49.
Celsius. The wind still noticeable into Thursday. Once the rain clears, | :26:49. | :26:55.
it is a matter of showers merger into hard -- showers merging into | :26:55. | :27:01.
longer spells of rain. Our main story again: Dozens of | :27:01. | :27:04.
caravan owners have had a lucky escape tonight after a landslide | :27:04. | :27:08.
left their homes teetering on the edge of a cliff. | :27:08. | :27:16.
Nobody was injured in the Vale of They are moving the caravans to a | :27:16. | :27:20.
safer part. The second stage is to investigate what the underlying | :27:20. | :27:25.
reasons are, what we can stop them. Coastal erosion is natural. It | :27:25. | :27:29.
takes place over time. We are not as used to it as they are in the | :27:29. | :27:32.
south-east of England and it is about learning from them. | :27:32. | :27:38. |
