Welcome to Wales Today. Tonight's headlines: A hero's welcome home | :00:09. | :00:13.
but questions over the support given to soldiers suffering from | :00:13. | :00:17.
post-traumatic stress. There are others that have actually | :00:17. | :00:20.
died and don't go home to their families but sometimes you think, | :00:20. | :00:30.
:00:30. | :00:43. | ||
maybe I would have been better off. Also in the programme tonight: | :00:43. | :00:49.
Severe winds tear the roof Blues from the National Library of Wales | :00:49. | :00:51.
as the country is battered by gale- force winds. | :00:52. | :00:55.
They'll get the chance to vote for commissioners to oversee our police | :00:55. | :00:58.
forces and an MP throws his hat in the ring. | :00:58. | :01:03.
Be prepared for a royal visit. The Duchess of Cambridge becomes a | :01:03. | :01:05.
volunteer for the Scouts Association and promises to get | :01:05. | :01:11.
stuck in. I will never be one of those women | :01:11. | :01:13.
who stays silent and pretty on the arm of her husband. | :01:13. | :01:18.
And the Welsh actors playing the young Margaret Thatcher in a movie | :01:18. | :01:21.
charting the life of the Iron Lady. To be sharing a character with | :01:21. | :01:25.
Meryl Streep, one of the most amazing actresses of our generation, | :01:25. | :01:35.
Good evening. The issue of how veterans are treated after their | :01:35. | :01:38.
time in battle is to be raised in the Assembly next week. It follows | :01:38. | :01:42.
the death of Lance Sergeant Dan Collins from Pembrokeshire. The | :01:42. | :01:46.
Welsh Guardsman, who led served in Afghanistan, took his own life on | :01:46. | :01:51.
New year's Day. Darren Millar has told Wales Today he wants to know | :01:51. | :01:55.
how much progress has been made after a report was published a year | :01:55. | :01:59.
ago. That report called for more co-ordination between the military | :01:59. | :02:06.
and the health service. In recent years, appreciation for | :02:06. | :02:10.
the work of the armed forces has been clear to see across Wales. | :02:10. | :02:14.
Questions continue to be raised about how veterans are cared for | :02:14. | :02:19.
once they have left behind life on the front line. The family of Lance | :02:19. | :02:21.
Sergeant Dan Collins career took his life on New year's Day say the | :02:21. | :02:25.
Welsh Guardsman could not cope with the post-traumatic stress disorder, | :02:25. | :02:31.
or PTSD, he suffered after serving in Afghanistan. It is a situation | :02:31. | :02:35.
that's familiar for some of the Berlin. The former soldier almost | :02:35. | :02:41.
died while serving in Iraq. Despite recovering physically, she hopes to | :02:41. | :02:45.
compete in this year's Paralympic in volleyball, the mental scars | :02:45. | :02:49.
have been harder to heal. For instance, with a door slamming | :02:49. | :02:54.
or a car engine backfiring, it can make you think you are in Iraq and | :02:54. | :02:58.
you can click and you can't kick out of it until reality comes back | :02:58. | :03:01.
and you think, God, I'm not actually there. | :03:01. | :03:06.
Charities like Healing the Wounds offer help to service personnel | :03:06. | :03:12.
suffering from mental health issues such as PTSD. Their founder | :03:12. | :03:16.
suffered from the conditions after serving in Northern Ireland. He | :03:16. | :03:20.
says veterans often need help not available through the NHS. | :03:20. | :03:27.
We have had cases, some of our sufferers, who have been to the NHS | :03:27. | :03:31.
and other charities and it didn't work. They come to us gasping it | :03:31. | :03:36.
can we help them and we do. The Assembly health committee | :03:36. | :03:39.
called for better co-ordination between the military and health | :03:39. | :03:43.
service a year rigours of treatment can be targeted more effectively. | :03:43. | :03:46.
The Conservative health spokesman says he has written to the health | :03:46. | :03:49.
minister to find out what progress has been made. | :03:49. | :03:55.
We found services to rout Wales are inconsistent. That was a huge | :03:55. | :03:59.
problem in terms of being able to access the services. I'm looking | :03:59. | :04:04.
forward to a comprehensive response next week and I very much hope that | :04:04. | :04:08.
the government have fulfilled all of the promises they made. | :04:08. | :04:11.
The Welsh government has told us they are working with the MoD and | :04:11. | :04:15.
the UK Department of Health to improve the transfer of military | :04:15. | :04:20.
records to GPs. In April, they received a review into the health | :04:20. | :04:23.
service provision for active personnel, Veterans and families. | :04:23. | :04:29.
It's being completed by the Health Inspectorate Wales. The family of | :04:29. | :04:32.
Lance Sergeant Dan Collins, dealing with the loss of their loved one, | :04:32. | :04:40.
say they hope any more needless deaths can be prevented. | :04:40. | :04:42.
Lieutenant Colonel John Skipper, who served in the Falklands and | :04:43. | :04:47.
Iraq, is leading that review of the armed forces healthcare in Wales. | :04:47. | :04:50.
What exactly is your review trying to find out? | :04:51. | :04:57.
Good evening. It's an independent review, primarily looking at the | :04:57. | :05:00.
adequacy, availability and accessibility of healthcare | :05:00. | :05:06.
services, not just for veterans, of which I am one, but also for | :05:06. | :05:10.
serving servicemen and reserves. They will be paying a much more | :05:10. | :05:15.
active role so we will be focusing on them. What I will be doing is | :05:15. | :05:20.
talking to individuals on the ground, gathering experiences, the | :05:20. | :05:24.
ground truth, to see just how the package of care provided by the | :05:24. | :05:28.
Welsh government actually meets the needs of those people out on the | :05:28. | :05:31.
ground. From what you've seen already, is | :05:31. | :05:35.
there enough support out there? Yes, there is. The early findings | :05:35. | :05:41.
from my review of that signposting is key. There is provision out | :05:41. | :05:47.
there and we are focusing on mental health but it is a much wider issue, | :05:47. | :05:52.
physical health needs as well. As we are focusing on mental health, | :05:52. | :05:57.
the All Wales Veterans Health and well-being service, a hub based in | :05:57. | :06:02.
Cardiff, has therapists in each of the local health board. They work | :06:02. | :06:05.
closely with combat stress and the local health boards and the British | :06:05. | :06:11.
Legion. What am finding, and Simon Weston remarked on it in the | :06:11. | :06:14.
programme last night, is that it's great to have those services | :06:14. | :06:17.
available but not so good if the people who need them don't know | :06:17. | :06:22.
about them. What is it about? A lack of co- | :06:22. | :06:24.
ordination between the NHS and the military? | :06:24. | :06:33.
It is part of the problem. We have a very good framework in Wales. The | :06:33. | :06:37.
review will see where we need to test and do just that co-ordination. | :06:37. | :06:43.
Perhaps we need to set up a coherent framework of veterans | :06:43. | :06:47.
support groups, for instance, where veterans can go with they have a | :06:47. | :06:51.
problem. Again, that does require better and tighter co-ordination | :06:51. | :06:56.
with the military on discharge. Is there an added pressure to get | :06:56. | :06:59.
this right when the armed forces are making redundancies? | :06:59. | :07:06.
Yes, there's. I mentioned before that the added focus on | :07:07. | :07:10.
participation of reserves and active service, they have | :07:10. | :07:19.
particularly special needs. Also, there will be no armed forces in | :07:19. | :07:23.
Germany from 2020. There are redundancies as part of the | :07:23. | :07:26.
strategic defence review and that will increase the problem in Wales | :07:26. | :07:34.
and the whole of the UK. A website, if you want to take part | :07:34. | :07:39.
in the review of the services, is on screen. It is available for | :07:39. | :07:47.
anyone in the armed forces. Gale-force winds have continued to | :07:47. | :07:50.
cause damage across the country. Trees have come down and the | :07:50. | :07:55.
National Library in Aberystwyth almost lost its roof. Gusts of 90 | :07:55. | :08:00.
mph were recorded in Capel Curig this morning. Several flood alerts | :08:00. | :08:06.
are in force across Wales. The National Library of Wales in | :08:06. | :08:12.
Aberystwyth is one casualty of the guests this morning. | :08:12. | :08:16.
A roofing sheets the size of two tennis courts was in danger of | :08:16. | :08:19.
being ripped off. Once that part was secured, we | :08:19. | :08:24.
turned our attention to the collections below that part of the | :08:24. | :08:30.
roof. We've put some extra cellophane around his collections. | :08:30. | :08:34.
We are now looking at short term measures to seal the win. | :08:34. | :08:38.
The library was closed for a short time and staff were advised to stay | :08:38. | :08:44.
inside. Adjacent buildings were evacuated as a precaution. | :08:44. | :08:49.
The area surrounded by university buildings and a sports centre. If | :08:49. | :08:52.
infection had come off, it could have caused considerable damage. | :08:52. | :08:58.
It's important we evacuate the buildings. | :08:58. | :09:01.
Elsewhere in Wales, the Environmental Agency has issued a | :09:01. | :09:05.
flood warning for the lower Dee Valley. There are five flood alerts | :09:05. | :09:09.
on rivers across the country. Extensive areas of agricultural | :09:09. | :09:15.
land have been affected. Incidents like this have kept the | :09:15. | :09:19.
emergency services busy across the country. Luckily, he in Newport, no | :09:19. | :09:23.
one was injured when this tree came crashing down on to this part car. | :09:23. | :09:28.
Just down the road in Cardiff, Andrew Griffiths was also a | :09:28. | :09:31.
casualty of the weather. His car was stuck by a falling tree seconds | :09:31. | :09:36.
after he got out of it. Am grateful for getting out the car. | :09:36. | :09:41.
It was a strange experience to watch, like it was in slow motion | :09:41. | :09:47.
as the tree toppled over. Seconds after I got out, I had walked about | :09:47. | :09:52.
10 feet and literally, I heard the crack and the tree came down. | :09:52. | :09:55.
Another fallen tree at these services meant there was no petrol | :09:55. | :10:00.
at Cardiff West on the M4 as the power line to the pumps was damaged. | :10:00. | :10:05.
500 homes across the South Wales manage work -- valleys were without | :10:05. | :10:09.
electricity for some of the day. The adverse weather is also meeting | :10:09. | :10:13.
have a good sporting fixtures. Tomorrow's race meeting at Chepstow | :10:13. | :10:19.
has been cancelled. The winds also meant the old Severn Bridge and | :10:19. | :10:21.
Cleddau Bridge were closed to high- sided vehicles for several hours. | :10:21. | :10:26.
The worst of the wind is behind us but the weather is sh throwing up a | :10:26. | :10:31.
few surprises. Rare Mexican the turtles have been washed up in the | :10:31. | :10:35.
Vale of Glamorgan. They are an endangered species. | :10:35. | :10:37.
More hospitals across north Wales have closed wards to new patients | :10:37. | :10:40.
after an outbreak of the winter vomiting bug, norovirus. Three have | :10:40. | :10:42.
been affected at Wrexham Maelor and two at Llandudno Hospital. The | :10:42. | :10:52.
outbreak has also hit single wards at Mold and Deeside Hospitals. The | :10:52. | :10:54.
planemaker Airbus says that minor cracks discovered on the wings of | :10:54. | :10:56.
some of its A380 aircraft do NOT affect passenger safety. The wings | :10:57. | :10:59.
for the superjumbo are made at Broughton in Flintshire. The | :10:59. | :11:01.
company says any repairs will be carried out during regular | :11:01. | :11:10.
maintenance checks. The Labour MP and former policing | :11:10. | :11:15.
minister, Alun Michael, has said he wants to become the first elected | :11:15. | :11:18.
Police and Crime Commissioner for South Wales. The new commissioners | :11:18. | :11:22.
will replace the existing police authorities who currently oversee a | :11:22. | :11:28.
world four police forces after elections in November. | :11:28. | :11:31.
He was the first to lead the devolved government in Wales and | :11:31. | :11:34.
now Alun Michael wants to become one of his first police | :11:34. | :11:36.
commissioners. If it's going to make things better | :11:37. | :11:43.
rather than being an obstacle to greater community safety and | :11:43. | :11:46.
reduction in crime, then it needs the right people who understand | :11:46. | :11:51.
policing, who will work with the police and understand the context | :11:51. | :11:54.
of crime and disorder in our local communities. | :11:54. | :11:59.
That decision causes another election, a by-election in Cardiff | :11:59. | :12:03.
South and Penarth, a seat that could be under threat with changes | :12:03. | :12:07.
to constituency boundaries. There will be, obviously, MPs of | :12:07. | :12:12.
the same party who will be pitched against each other. You've got, in | :12:12. | :12:17.
Cardiff, someone like Kevin Brennan, up and coming. Alun Michael has | :12:17. | :12:21.
been very long time and he may be thinking about standing down anyway. | :12:21. | :12:26.
This is a convenient job for him to go into if he gets elected. | :12:26. | :12:30.
Creating elected commissioners is a UK government policy. What will | :12:30. | :12:33.
they do? The commission will they do? The commission will | :12:33. | :12:36.
appoint a chief Constable's and told them to account. They will set | :12:36. | :12:40.
the annual falls budget and the police share of the local council | :12:40. | :12:43.
police share of the local council tax. They were determined local | :12:43. | :12:50.
policing priorities as well. They will be paid from 65,000 in Dyfed- | :12:50. | :12:53.
Powys to 85,000 in South Wales. Assembly Members voted against the | :12:53. | :12:58.
idea. Welsh chief Constable's a post it to. Those who fought the | :12:58. | :13:04.
principles say that it must be made to work. | :13:04. | :13:10.
We need to see resent -- retention of the current system or devolution | :13:10. | :13:14.
into a Welsh context. What we will see in budgetary terms is severe | :13:14. | :13:18.
cuts to the police force in the next few years and the police | :13:18. | :13:22.
commissioners will have to manage Labour say they will field | :13:22. | :13:25.
candidates in all police force areas. The Welsh Liberal Democrats | :13:25. | :13:29.
say they oppose the idea and would offer a national funding for | :13:29. | :13:37.
candidates. Plaid Cymru oppose the principle but will contest the | :13:37. | :13:40.
elections or support non-party candidates who share their views on | :13:40. | :13:44.
criminal justice. The Welsh Conservatives say it's too early to | :13:44. | :13:48.
name potential candidates. Anyone living in a force area can stand | :13:48. | :13:53.
but they will need a 5,000 deposit and a determination to persuade | :13:53. | :13:59.
voters this election and these Still to come in the programme. The | :14:00. | :14:07.
historic town giving hi-tech help to tourists. I do not use computers | :14:07. | :14:11.
and things like that very much but it sounds wonderful. I guess it | :14:11. | :14:16.
should be very successful. Duchess of Cambridge has decided to | :14:16. | :14:19.
volunteer with the Scouting Association in North Wales. She | :14:19. | :14:23.
will be getting involved in a range of activities with members of the | :14:23. | :14:27.
Beavers and Cubs, aged between six and 10, near her home on Anglesey. | :14:27. | :14:30.
The announcement coincides with the news that she is to become patron | :14:30. | :14:35.
of four charities. It's a rite of passage for many | :14:35. | :14:38.
youngsters, learning skills from baking, to camping and climbing or | :14:38. | :14:42.
qualities such as teamwork, social responsibility and good manners. | :14:42. | :14:45.
But whereas most Beavers, Cubs and Scouts rely on parents or friends | :14:45. | :14:48.
to run activities, some in North Wales will get royal treatment from | :14:48. | :14:54.
the former Miss Middleton. The Duchess of Cambridge has expressed | :14:54. | :14:57.
a wish to volunteer privately with groups near the home she shares | :14:57. | :15:07.
:15:07. | :15:10. | ||
with her husband who is based at RAF Valley. There is no one in the | :15:10. | :15:15.
world busier. But if I have learned anything, all volunteers are busy | :15:15. | :15:20.
people and that is part of the magic. If she can volunteer, so can | :15:20. | :15:26.
we. We have up 33,000 kids in this country on a waiting list for the | :15:26. | :15:30.
Scouts and a mission is to encourage more adult volunteers to | :15:30. | :15:38.
get involved will stop -- involved at. The Duke and Duchess of | :15:38. | :15:41.
Cambridge have been highly visible since moving to Anglesey and | :15:41. | :15:43.
today's announcement could be seen as another endorsement of island | :15:43. | :15:46.
life. But the Scouts association says Kate won't simply be looking | :15:46. | :15:50.
on at a distance, she'll be rolling up her sleeves to get involved. | :15:50. | :15:53.
will be at the coalface. She will be getting her hands dirty and | :15:53. | :16:01.
mixing pastry, face painting with youngsters, really hands-on. She | :16:02. | :16:11.
:16:12. | :16:13. | ||
can go camping or go up a mountain. We can do warmer. -- all that. | :16:13. | :16:16.
Duchess is also entering a new phase of royal life as she becomes | :16:16. | :16:19.
patron of four charities based across the UK. Like any good Scout | :16:19. | :16:21.
she's pledging to do her best to help others. | :16:21. | :16:24.
A fish farm on Anglesey has been sold, securing 32 jobs. The | :16:24. | :16:26.
previous owners, Selonda, had suffered from cash-flow problems, | :16:26. | :16:29.
despite previously receiving millions of pounds in grants from | :16:29. | :16:31.
the Welsh Government and the European Union. The farm was | :16:31. | :16:34.
established a decade ago and produced a thousand tonnes of sea | :16:34. | :16:37.
bass annually. A group of pupils at a special | :16:37. | :16:40.
needs school in Penarth are proving they're budding entrepreneurs by | :16:40. | :16:43.
turning an empty stock room, into a thriving cafe. It's been so | :16:43. | :16:46.
successful, they've already paid off 20% of the loan they took out | :16:46. | :16:56.
:16:56. | :17:02. | ||
to set it up. Lucy Rogers reports. The lunchtime rush at the school | :17:02. | :17:07.
near Cardiff. Gill is one of a group of pupils running of the cafe | :17:07. | :17:12.
on side. He has autism and just a few months ago, he could not deal | :17:12. | :17:16.
with being in a busy room. Now he like many others is fully trained, | :17:16. | :17:26.
:17:26. | :17:30. | ||
serving coffee and fooled. -- food for Alsop. I work under pressure | :17:30. | :17:34.
and I tend to shut down. I was not knowing what I was doing. Not a lot | :17:34. | :17:38.
of people like me get the chance to work in an environment like this. | :17:38. | :17:42.
It gives me a good head start in two when I leave college in a | :17:42. | :17:52.
couple of years' time. The students were put through a rigorous | :17:52. | :17:56.
application and interview process to work here. They do everything | :17:56. | :18:02.
from stop checks to dealing with suppliers. The profits go back into | :18:02. | :18:05.
school funds. Many of the pupils have dreamt of having a job but | :18:05. | :18:09.
never had the confidence. Something that has changed according to one | :18:10. | :18:17.
mother. She is a different child, confidence wise. She will get up | :18:17. | :18:22.
and do things, which she would not have done before. She would have | :18:22. | :18:29.
waited for someone to do it. But now she is off and away, it is | :18:29. | :18:34.
lovely. It is the first school of its kind in Wales to offer the | :18:34. | :18:39.
Welsh Baccalaureate. Working in a cafe helps the children achieve | :18:39. | :18:46.
equivocation. They now believe they have a future. We actually believe | :18:46. | :18:51.
they can fulfil a job, not just for Phillip but do it well. It means | :18:51. | :18:57.
the transferable skills from the coffee shop became much easier. | :18:57. | :19:02.
When they went on with experience, they found it was a breeze. With | :19:02. | :19:07.
plans already under way to expand, it is hoped the cafe will be open | :19:07. | :19:12.
for business for many years to come. It's a world first, a project | :19:12. | :19:15.
helping visitors to Monmouth access information about the town, simply | :19:15. | :19:20.
by scanning a barcode with their phone. If you wander around the | :19:20. | :19:23.
town's landmarks in the next few months, you'll spot the barcodes | :19:23. | :19:25.
which link directly to the online encyclopaedia, Wikipedia. It's | :19:25. | :19:29.
hoped that Monmouthpedia will help boost tourism. Nicola Smith has | :19:29. | :19:34.
been finding out more. Monmouth, a town rich with history. | :19:34. | :19:38.
It appears in the Domesday Book in 1086. One millennium later | :19:38. | :19:41.
information about its buildings, monuments and people, is being | :19:41. | :19:46.
recorded in a very different way. Let's say I'd like more information | :19:46. | :19:50.
about the Shire Hall, with this new project, all I'll need is a smart | :19:50. | :19:59.
phone and a special barcode or QR code as it's known. I don't know | :19:59. | :20:06.
what it is. Do you know? Well, someone who does is John Cummings. | :20:07. | :20:15.
He runs the Monmouthpedia website, so I'll let him explain. We use | :20:15. | :20:22.
this free piece of software to scan at the bar code. It has found the | :20:22. | :20:31.
website and we can find out all the history. It's just one example of | :20:31. | :20:34.
many hundreds of barcodes that'll soon be appearing across the town. | :20:34. | :20:38.
The museums are getting involved. Here in the Shire Hall, information | :20:38. | :20:45.
on the courtroom, the judge's room, will be just a click away. People | :20:45. | :20:53.
can find out information, they can click on the cold and find out. | :20:53. | :20:56.
Because we have put that information in place, people living | :20:56. | :21:02.
in Mexico can also find it out. They can also contribute towards | :21:02. | :21:09.
the project. And the codes work in many languages too. It takes you to | :21:09. | :21:15.
the article in your own language. It is really for as many languages | :21:15. | :21:18.
as we can do. This project relies on information from the community, | :21:18. | :21:25.
so what do they think should be included? We have some interesting | :21:26. | :21:35.
:21:36. | :21:38. | ||
cemeteries. And a couple of other interesting people in the area. | :21:38. | :21:43.
That might be of interest. Behind the Lloyds Bank, there was a | :21:43. | :21:49.
historic garden. I do not think many people know about that. It's | :21:49. | :21:52.
being jointly funded by the organisation behind Wikipedia and | :21:52. | :21:54.
Monmouthshire Council. By April, they hope to have one thousand | :21:54. | :21:57.
codes around Monmouth, all adding to the experience of people living | :21:57. | :22:03.
in, or visiting this historic town. And if you want to scan some of | :22:03. | :22:06.
those Monmouth barcodes for yourself, you can find them on our | :22:06. | :22:12.
Facebook and Twitter pages. Just follow these links and keep your | :22:12. | :22:15.
smart phone handy. The Welsh Rugby Union is | :22:15. | :22:18.
questioning the inclusion of a Welsh-born player in Scotland's Six | :22:18. | :22:22.

She's divided political opinion in Wales for decades. Now a young | :22:46. | :22:50.
actress from Ammanford is playing Margaret Thatcher on the big screen. | :22:50. | :22:53.
Alexandra Roach was at the European premiere in London last night, | :22:53. | :22:59.
where a blue, not red carpet was rolled out, as Rhodri Lewis reports. | :22:59. | :23:07.
He knows very well we had no choice but to close the school. She's | :23:07. | :23:11.

I knew this would be a big project. It was exciting turning up and | :23:44. | :23:52.
sharing a table with these actors. It was really exciting. And sharing | :23:52. | :23:57.

was in charge. Though Alexandra has strong links with the industry, she | :24:03. | :24:12.
says her first priority was to play the role well. My grandfather was | :24:12. | :24:18.
underground since he was 12. My father was a policeman during the | :24:18. | :24:28.
strike. It was a big moment in the family. But I had to put all of | :24:28. | :24:32.
those judgments to one side. It is not my job as an actor has to judge | :24:32. | :24:37.
Margaret Thatcher. Critics have given the film mixed reviews so far, | :24:37. | :24:39.
but one said Alexandra Roach's performance stood out, a taste of | :24:39. | :24:48.
things to come from this young Here's Derek with the weather. | :24:48. | :24:58.

Some good news. I think the worst is over. A lot of people are fed up | :24:58. | :25:02.
with the wind and rain and the worst is over. The wind is easing | :25:02. | :25:06.
and the next few days are looking calmer. Of course, it was anything | :25:06. | :25:10.
but calm last night. At Capel Curig in Snowdonia a gust of 88 mph was | :25:10. | :25:14.
recorded. 63 at Mumbles Head in Swansea. The wind strong enough to | :25:14. | :25:19.
bring down a few trees. A tree blown down in Coed y Brenin. While | :25:19. | :25:22.
Ron Kyte took this picture near Llanymynech in Powys, where the | :25:22. | :25:25.
river bursts its banks. River levels are generally falling but | :25:25. | :25:28.
there is still one flood warning in force at the moment in the Lower | :25:28. | :25:32.
Dee Valley from Llangollen to Chester. Plus four flood alerts. | :25:32. | :25:36.
The reason for the stormy weather a deep area of low pressure which is | :25:36. | :25:39.

Montgomeryshire. Otherwise dry. Some clear skies. The wind easing | :25:43. | :25:46.
as well and a colder night than recently. Temperatures inland | :25:46. | :25:50.
falling as low as 2 Celsius with some ground frost by end of the | :25:50. | :25:53.
night. There is also a risk of icy patches on untreated roads in | :25:53. | :25:56.
Denbighshire, Conwy, Flintshire and Wrexham. So a chilly start tomorrow | :25:56. | :25:59.
but dry and much calmer than today. Bright for a time with some hazy | :25:59. | :26:04.
sunshine but it won't last. Cloud will invade the sky. Temperatures | :26:04. | :26:08.
in Aberystwyth 6 Celsius with just a light to moderate breeze. During | :26:08. | :26:11.
the day cloud will thicken and lower bringing a little rain and | :26:11. | :26:15.
drizzle. Most of it light and patchy. The wind lighter than today | :26:15. | :26:22.
as well. Tomorrow night cloudy and damp for a time. Brisk winds with | :26:22. | :26:25.
temperatures staying well above freezing. As for the weekend, | :26:25. | :26:30.
Saturday the best day. Becoming dry, bright and breezy. A little | :26:30. | :26:38.
sunshine. Sunday cloudy and turning damp. Breezy at times, but not as | :26:38. | :26:42.
windy as it has been. I know some of you would like snow. There's no | :26:42. | :26:46.
sign of any yet but there is hint that it may turn colder during the | :26:46. | :26:56.
