Good afternoon. The parents of murdered schoolgirl April Jones have

criticised David Cameron, saying he's failed to clamp down on online

images of child abuse. Paul Jones, who met with the Prime Minister last

year, said he felt "hoodwinked," and has accused Mr Cameron of going back

on a vow to take tough action on blocking internet images of abuse.

Downing Street says a new National Crime Agency's been set up to deal

with the problem, but "there is always more to do."

Ed Miliband has promised significantly more devolved powers

for Wales, modelled on Scotland, if his party wins the next general

election. The Labour leader was speaking at the Welsh Labour annual

conference in Llandudno. His remarks would suggest areas like policing,

transport and new tax-raising powers could be devolved here under a

Labour government in Westminster. The next Labour government will

legislate to extend further the model of devolution in Wales. Under

a new government of Wales Act. With powers assumed as devolved to Wales

unless specifically reserved. Bringing Wales into line with

Scotland. Modernising and advancing the devolution settlement for

generations to come. A group of academics is calling on

the Welsh government to remove the defence of "reasonable punishment"

for adults who smack children. Academics for Equal Protection say

they want Wales to become the first part of the UK to do so. The

government has said it could back a ban before the 2016 Assembly

election. The 21-strong group, from universities around Wales, intends

lobbying ministers at Labour's conference in Llandudno.

Fire crews are still tackling a blaze on the outskirts of Cardiff,

involving 2,000 tonnes of waste material at a recycling centre.

South Wales fire service has said it expects to be on-site all weekend

because of the materials involved, they've also been hampered by 30 to

40 gas cylinders which they've had to keep cool, for fear of possible

explosion. Both Welsh clubs are in action in

the Premier League this afternoon. Swansea take on Norwich at the

Liberty, a side they've never beaten in the top-flight. Norwich are

currently two points ahead of the Swans. And Cardiff are away to

fellow strugglers, West Brom. A win there could put them level on points

with their opponents. Rugby, and last night, the Ospreys

suffered a major blow to their hopes of reaching the play-offs. They lost

11-9 in Glasgow. Dan Biggar kicked all the points for the welsh side.

The Blues take on Ulster later. Now, tonight, cinema goers in

Aberystwyth will be able to see a rare screening of a silent movie by

Alfred Hitchcock. The score to Blackmail will be

performed live by a full symphony orchestra below the big screen at

the town's Arts Centre. It's been composed by former Aberystwyth

It has been a cloudy morning for some of us, but we will get more

sunshine this afternoon, and feeling mild. So, the cloud clearing to the

West, sunny spells for most of us this afternoon with a breeze,

temperatures reaching 16 or 17, so higher than we have had recently.

The few showers in the west and north-west tonight, and tomorrow,

another dry and bright day across the country with temperatures
