Good evening. One diver has died and another two are in hospital after an

incident in the disused quarry. It happened at lunch time after a

41-year-old man got into difficulties 40 metres under the

surface. He was taken to hospital in Bangor where he was pronounced dead.

The two divers who pulled him from the water where taken to hospital

for decompression treatment. A boy from the Huddersfield area was on

holiday with his family when he got into trouble in the water on Friday
