Around 400 people have gathered at a rally in Cardiff Bay to urge

The crowd was told the referendum is an opportunity

But on the final weekend of campaigning,

a Welsh Labour MP said Wales and the rest of the UK would be stronger

Less than a week until the people of Scotland go to the polls -

the message from the hundreds gathered here was clear.

A Yes vote in Scotland, they say, would be the spark

In small states, independence is possible.

You will find that people are going to vote

for those who are going to make the best decisions for their future.

The people of Wales are waking up, they are waking up to the fact

that there is another and successful way of running a country.

Today the Western Mail dedicated its front page to urge Scots to vote No,

warning the UK would be economically and culturally impoverished,

should Scotland decide to go its own way.

Others who want to see a No vote say devolution can still deliver.

This isn't about processes, this is about people,

and the best way, I think, to deliver for the people of Scotland,

Wales, England and Northern Ireland is to have policies that work.

Yes, there will be difference in areas, but we have a strong

backbone, which is the UK economy, to ensure we deliver prosperity,

The campaigns for votes on the final weekend in Scotland

have stepped up a gear with opinion polls there still suggesting

Whatever happens, the results of Thursday's referendum

will have an impact in Wales and in the rest of the United Kingdom.

Two men have died after their car hit a wall in Briton Ferry

The incident has been referred to the Independent Police Complaints

Commission, because officers had been looking

for the car following reports it had been acting suspiciously.

Police want to speak to anybody who saw the Ford as it travelled

from Ammanford along the M4, and over Briton Ferry Bridge.

More than 100 so-called "micro pigs" living in the wild have

been destroyed in a cull by Swansea Council.

The animals were living on common land in Gower.

The council says they'd tried to find the original owners,

but nobody was prepared to take responsibility for them.

The RSPCA says it's concerned about micro pigs becoming pets.

Football, and Swansea City have suffered their first defeat
