Police are trying to identify a baby, whose body was found

near an industrial estate, on the outskirts of Newport.

The body was discovered on land near Imperial Park on Friday.

Tests to help establish how the baby died are to take place tomorrow.

Police were called just before 2pm on Friday afternoon

It is not clear if police yet know whether this was a boy or a girl

or what age the child was when it died.
