The leader of the Welsh Liberal Democrats has blamed Labour

for the failure of devolution to get the basics right on public services.

But Kirsty Williams refused to rule out working with the party

From their Spring Conference in Cardiff, here's our political

Rebuilding the party is the main focus for the Liberal Democrats

after a devastating result in the general election left them

As the party tries to hold on to their five AMs in the Assembly

election in May, they set out plans to focus on the basics

And it's the basics which Kirsty Williams accused Labour

It has nothing to offer, and it is bankrupt of ideas.

Kirsty Williams ramped up the criticism of Labour here.

Carwyn Jones was accused of winging it.

The challenge she's got, though, is squaring that rhetoric

with the reality of having done deals with Labour in recent years

in Cardiff Bay and refusing to rule out a future coalition with them.
