Labour makes a difference in power, not in "principled opposition".

That's what the Shadow Welsh Secretary has told the party's Welsh

Nia Griffith said her party offers "investment in Wales,

versus cuts from Westminster" by the Tories.

A weekend by the seaside is good for recharging the batteries

and these delegates are in for a busy few months.

Not only will they be knocking doors trying to persuade people to return

May's Assembly election, there is also an in-out referendum

This morning, Mr Corbyn's deputy took to the stage to repeat

a message from Carwyn Jones and the party hierarchy in Wales

yesterday, that sticking together was vital.
