Welcome to Wales Today, live from Bordeaux.

:00:00.:00:00.

Euro 2016 is about to kick off, and with it, the hopes

:00:07.:00:10.

They arrived amid high security, France in a state of emergency

:00:11.:00:19.

after recent attacks, tens of thousands of police

:00:20.:00:23.

The fans in fine voice - they've waited decades for major

:00:24.:00:30.

This stadium behind me is where Wales will take to the field

:00:31.:00:40.

The Wales squad left their training base in Brittany earlier.

:00:41.:00:44.

Chris Coleman says his men are ready.

:00:45.:00:48.

The results will be what they're going to be.

:00:49.:00:50.

But we'll make sure we take care of our performance and we

:00:51.:00:53.

And Wales in a major championship used to be the stuff

:00:54.:00:57.

As thousands of steel workers wait for news about their jobs,

:00:58.:01:07.

the call for a long-term solution to the steel-crisis

:01:08.:01:09.

And how the family of Oliver Edwards-Cavill -

:01:10.:01:13.

who took his own life - are campaigning for more

:01:14.:01:15.

support to prevent other parents losing a child.

:01:16.:01:32.

France is holding a month-long European football party

:01:33.:01:39.

and for the first time, Wales are invited.

:01:40.:01:41.

This elegant, sophisticated city of culture and breathtaking

:01:42.:01:45.

architecture has been transformed over last few hours, as fans pour

:01:46.:01:48.

If Chris Coleman's men want to be crowned European Champions and bring

:01:49.:01:59.

home the Henri Delaunay Trophy, they'll have to make it

:02:00.:02:02.

through seven games over the next month.

:02:03.:02:07.

They'll be cheered on by thousands of fans from Wales, just some

:02:08.:02:11.

of the half a million from the UK making the journey.

:02:12.:02:16.

But before there are any celebrations, Wales have

:02:17.:02:19.

They face Slovakia here in Bordeaux tomorrow at 5pm.

:02:20.:02:29.

Next, it's up to Lens for the highly anticipated clash with England.

:02:30.:02:32.

And it's back down the country to Toulouse, for the final group

:02:33.:02:34.

But the fans arrive in a nervous country.

:02:35.:02:46.

France is in a state of emergency, with 90,000 police and military

:02:47.:02:50.

Where this is attendance at a major tournament is not the only thing

:02:51.:03:09.

unprecedented about Euro 2016. France remains on high alert

:03:10.:03:13.

following last year 's terror attacks in Paris. Is thought to

:03:14.:03:17.

record 90,000 security staff are working here, and makes them

:03:18.:03:22.

officers from Welsh police forces. These officers along with Slovakian

:03:23.:03:26.

officers will be working in teams with French colleagues. We'll be out

:03:27.:03:31.

on the ground, engaging with all the fans, the locals and the neutrals

:03:32.:03:36.

who are coming to Saturday's game. We'll be advising and supporting the

:03:37.:03:40.

French police. There are also hoping to avoid

:03:41.:03:44.

scenes like these. Police using tear gas to break up of a brawl last

:03:45.:03:51.

night. But the Welsh fans in Bordeaux are not worried, just

:03:52.:03:54.

excited. We waited 58 years so we are not

:03:55.:03:57.

bothered. We're going to make the most of it.

:03:58.:04:00.

Never thought I'd Ashleigh make it in my lifetime.

:04:01.:04:05.

The more the better as far as I'm concerned.

:04:06.:04:07.

Everybody seems to be behaving themselves. The security is getting

:04:08.:04:13.

into the fans only. They check you down anything on your bike and go

:04:14.:04:17.

through banks, and anything they don't like to be locked up and they

:04:18.:04:21.

have to do that for up to 60,000 fans.

:04:22.:04:27.

The Welsh supporters have no truly arrived in Bordeaux, making the most

:04:28.:04:31.

of the French experience, which today includes a strike on some tram

:04:32.:04:36.

services around the city and then the more relaxing cafe culture.

:04:37.:04:40.

They're not even going to let the familiar weather spoiled the party.

:04:41.:04:44.

The atmosphere 's been amazing. Everyone talks to each other. As

:04:45.:04:49.

soon as you see another Welsh shirt, it's like hey, hey! You can join

:04:50.:04:55.

everyone and have drinks for them. The first half of the week we spent

:04:56.:04:58.

sightseeing and looking round the city. It's absolutely beautiful and

:04:59.:05:03.

the fans are turning up now in force. The atmosphere is building

:05:04.:05:07.

and everybody is looking forward to the game.

:05:08.:05:10.

And so is the new sports Minister who will arrive before kick-off

:05:11.:05:13.

tomorrow. People don't take an interest in the

:05:14.:05:19.

football team in itself are showing more of an interest as more and more

:05:20.:05:23.

attention than that they wouldn't have been and is a message for our

:05:24.:05:26.

elite athletes and for everyone who's interested in some form of

:05:27.:05:31.

sport or exercise. It's a real bonus for Wales on the sporting front and

:05:32.:05:35.

obviously, it's an opportunity to sell Wales to the world.

:05:36.:05:39.

Wherever you are, the agonising wait for the kick-off is almost as an end

:05:40.:05:43.

and while security is visible, is only one thing on the minds of fans,

:05:44.:05:47.

and that's watching their team make history.

:05:48.:05:49.

The Wales squad left their training base in Brittany earlier,

:05:50.:05:52.

and have been training on the pitch in Stade de Bordeaux tonight.

:05:53.:05:55.

Manager Chris Coleman has just given his final press conference

:05:56.:05:57.

Iwan Griffiths is following the team for us.

:05:58.:06:00.

What's the mood in the camp less than 24 hours before kick-off?

:06:01.:06:11.

There's definitely a feeling of excitement here tonight. You could

:06:12.:06:18.

describe the mood in the press conference as emotional. Chris

:06:19.:06:23.

Coleman celebrating his 46th birthday today, just urging his

:06:24.:06:27.

players to enjoy this moment. It's been a long 58 year wait. We're

:06:28.:06:33.

nearly there. Threading that if at the stadium, the Europe campaign

:06:34.:06:39.

gets under way for these men. The self-proclaimed band of brothers

:06:40.:06:43.

taking the opportunity to get a feel of the pitch, less than 24 hours

:06:44.:06:47.

before this historic adventure kicks off against Slovakia.

:06:48.:06:52.

We'll have goose bumps, that's for sure especially with the Welsh fans

:06:53.:06:55.

singing the anthem and knowing everybody in Wales is watching on

:06:56.:07:00.

TV. The people not in the stadium will be supporting us and getting

:07:01.:07:04.

involved in a major championship instead of watching obviously on the

:07:05.:07:09.

TV. To be fully involved as a nation is going to be amazing for everybody

:07:10.:07:14.

and we hope we can do everybody proud.

:07:15.:07:18.

Chris Coleman on the day he turns 46 says they're prepared and ready.

:07:19.:07:23.

We're going to enter the tournament in the same spirit that we entered

:07:24.:07:27.

the campaign and that is, when we walk onto the pitch, we give

:07:28.:07:32.

everything for our jersey and what will be will be after that and the

:07:33.:07:35.

results will be what they're going to be but we'll make sure we take

:07:36.:07:40.

care about performance and we'll do our nation proud.

:07:41.:07:44.

The Slovakian is also in town. They won seven back-to-back games

:07:45.:07:48.

qualifying for this tournament including a memorable victory

:07:49.:07:52.

against Spain and they beat world champions Germany just a few weeks

:07:53.:07:58.

ago in a friendly. Liverpool's captain will captain the side while

:07:59.:08:05.

their current top scorer is arguably the squad's most important player.

:08:06.:08:08.

He's obviously a great player but, you know, you've looked at them, to

:08:09.:08:14.

now research, then our work on the field but at the end of the day,

:08:15.:08:17.

it's the same as always, we concentrate on ourselves and how we

:08:18.:08:22.

can hurt Sabato. It's been a long wait with Wales

:08:23.:08:28.

having to sit out of each major footballing tenements since 1958.

:08:29.:08:32.

This evening, fans placed their hopes on these men to make that wait

:08:33.:08:34.

The thoughts of Chris Coleman and the players there.

:08:35.:08:39.

A little earlier, I caught up with former Wales midfielder

:08:40.:08:42.

Robbie Savage to hear how he sees the challenge that Slovakia

:08:43.:08:46.

Weiss, Mak and obviously Hamsik, who can score goals.

:08:47.:08:58.

I think he got a five goals in the qualifying campaign.

:08:59.:09:02.

They won six out of six in the first six games,

:09:03.:09:07.

so they're not to be taken lightly but I think it's a game,

:09:08.:09:10.

it's a massive, massive game, it's a game Wales cannot

:09:11.:09:13.

You speak to pundits, former players from outside of Wales,

:09:14.:09:17.

where do they place Wales' s chances in this tournament?

:09:18.:09:22.

Well, I know we keep saying about Gareth Bale,

:09:23.:09:25.

but with him on the pitch, he's a superstar.

:09:26.:09:27.

And that's why I think we are different to the Republic

:09:28.:09:31.

of Ireland and Northern Ireland, because there haven't

:09:32.:09:33.

England have got, you know, Ian Kane and Rooney and Delle Ali.

:09:34.:09:38.

So if he can stay fit and you can get the ball as often as he can,

:09:39.:09:44.

I think the last 16, with a possible quarterfinal

:09:45.:09:46.

is a real opportunity but first and foremost,

:09:47.:09:48.

you cannot lose against Slovakia tomorrow.

:09:49.:09:54.

Everything on Gareth Bale's shoulders.

:09:55.:09:56.

I wouldn't say on his shoulders, but when you're involved in 9 out

:09:57.:10:00.

of the 11 goals in the qualifier, you have to say that going forward,

:10:01.:10:06.

we are reliant upon him, no doubt about that.

:10:07.:10:08.

Will he go with Robson Kanu, will he go with Sam Vokes,

:10:09.:10:11.

Will he go with Dave Edwards or Andy King

:10:12.:10:15.

So, you know, I'd go for it, I'd go with Andy King

:10:16.:10:19.

in the middle of the park, with Ramsey and Allen,

:10:20.:10:21.

but I've got a sneaky feeling he might go withthe more physical

:10:22.:10:24.

Robbie, you came close to qualifying yourself.

:10:25.:10:27.

While you're there, how excited are you?

:10:28.:10:32.

You know, I speak to John Hartson, Craig Bellamy, of course,

:10:33.:10:38.

we missed out to Russia but this group of players has bonded so well

:10:39.:10:42.

and to be here as a pundit, you know, it's my third one

:10:43.:10:47.

but when you've got involved within it, it's fantastic.

:10:48.:10:51.

I've been with all the fans in Bordeaux this morning.

:10:52.:10:57.

There's 10,000 fans expected so it's brilliant for everybody

:10:58.:11:02.

My heart says yes, my head says it's going to be tougher

:11:03.:11:09.

Robbie Savage. It's quiet here this evening. 42,000 fans will stream

:11:10.:11:23.

into the stadium tomorrow. Kick-off is at five o'clock. I bring you all

:11:24.:11:26.

the reaction on Wales today tomorrow evening. Back to you, Lucy.

:11:27.:11:27.

The new Economy Secretary is calling for a long-term solution

:11:28.:11:31.

to the steel crisis that will protect jobs, whether Tata

:11:32.:11:34.

Ken Skates says the company would have to show that it

:11:35.:11:39.

could sustain steel making at Port Talbot if it decided to hold

:11:40.:11:41.

on to the plant, while Plaid Cymru says Tata must not be allowed

:11:42.:11:45.

to benefit from proposed pension changes aimed at helping

:11:46.:11:48.

Our business correspondent, Brian Meechan, has the latest.

:11:49.:11:59.

The week continues for Tata workers, not only in Port Talbot but across

:12:00.:12:06.

the country. Steel prices have begun to rise and losses at this site are

:12:07.:12:11.

starting to fall. The UK Government's is also negotiating

:12:12.:12:15.

with Tata on issues like reducing the company 's pension liabilities

:12:16.:12:20.

and energy costs. Some believe that the Indian company is reconsidering.

:12:21.:12:24.

At its first interview with this programme since being appointed, the

:12:25.:12:28.

new economy Secretary says Tata will have to show it image for the

:12:29.:12:33.

long-term if it's not selling. We want sustainable solution that

:12:34.:12:41.

provides steel-making jobs in Wales. For many communities, Steelers

:12:42.:12:43.

essential for the country. And our preferred option would be for any

:12:44.:12:46.

buyer for Tata to maintain for the long-term steel-making in Wales.

:12:47.:12:51.

That is being expected to release a short list of potential bidders for

:12:52.:12:55.

weeks but still is alleged worries about what's happening. Liberty

:12:56.:13:00.

stealing Newport is one of the company is expected to be on that

:13:01.:13:04.

list, along with Spell at birth and another investor. -- X Balaban. Tata

:13:05.:13:14.

workers held a rally in London last month and the Business Minister

:13:15.:13:17.

marched alongside them but some argue these workers and other

:13:18.:13:21.

members of tartar's pension scheme shouldn't lose benefits if the

:13:22.:13:27.

company does decide to keep its UK operations.

:13:28.:13:30.

This is Tata is opportunity and liability. In law they cannot walk

:13:31.:13:36.

away from it. Tata group can meet this pension fund deficit and it

:13:37.:13:40.

would be morally and legally wrong for all kinds of other corporations

:13:41.:13:48.

to let Tata to walk away from its responsibilities.

:13:49.:13:51.

Both the UK Government and Tata said they working together to secure the

:13:52.:13:55.

future of the business and secure the best outcome for members of the

:13:56.:13:57.

Around 50 people gathered in Pembrokeshire today to discuss

:13:58.:14:01.

concerns about mental health support for young people.

:14:02.:14:04.

The public forum was organised by the family of 15-year-old

:14:05.:14:07.

Oliver Edwards-Cavill from Pembroke Dock who took

:14:08.:14:08.

Pembrokeshire Council and Hywel Dda Health Board were due

:14:09.:14:13.

to be on the panel but both were unable to attend.

:14:14.:14:15.

The health board said this was due to sickness.

:14:16.:14:18.

The Council has been asked to comment.

:14:19.:14:19.

It's hoped the forum will help to improve services.

:14:20.:14:23.

Young people are identifying that they want to see services

:14:24.:14:29.

improved but also maybe the establishment and development

:14:30.:14:32.

of more maybe appropriate type services that are not necessarily

:14:33.:14:36.

mental health but more emotional well-being,

:14:37.:14:39.

to do that transfer from young person to adulthood.

:14:40.:14:44.

A coroner has told Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board it must push ahead

:14:45.:14:47.

with plans to set up a special team to help mothers-to-be

:14:48.:14:50.

It follows the death of 22-year-old Shanice Priestley who was eight

:14:51.:14:55.

months pregnant when she hanged herself at her home

:14:56.:14:58.

The health board said it is developing a perinatal mental

:14:59.:15:02.

The Welsh Government has stepped in to attempt to end a dispute

:15:03.:15:09.

affecting staff who work for National Museum Wales.

:15:10.:15:11.

Members of the PCS Union have been taking continuous strike action over

:15:12.:15:16.

plans to end extra payments for working weekends.

:15:17.:15:18.

The Museum has now offered a lump sum, equivalent to five years' worth

:15:19.:15:21.

The Welsh Government is financing half of the offer.

:15:22.:15:25.

The union says it's considering the details and hopes

:15:26.:15:27.

Three days of celebration to mark the Queen's

:15:28.:15:38.

a service of thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral this morning.

:15:39.:15:41.

And among those chosen to lead the prayers is Hilda Price

:15:42.:15:44.

from Cardiff, who shares her birthday with the Queen.

:15:45.:15:58.

We give you thanks for Jesus Christ. His body may be united in his love.

:15:59.:16:03.

Mrs Price, who was born in Carmarthen, said

:16:04.:16:07.

when she was told she was to take part, it was the shock of her life.

:16:08.:16:11.

Rugby and Wales centre Jamie Roberts says players are always on edge

:16:12.:16:13.

when facing New Zealand, more so than when playing

:16:14.:16:15.

They face the All Blacks in Auckland tomorrow.

:16:16.:16:18.

But kicking coach Neil Jenkins says they won't be intimidated.

:16:19.:16:23.

Their home record is pretty impressive and no matter where they

:16:24.:16:27.

play in the world, they are pretty impressive, so I think obviously,

:16:28.:16:30.

we've been here as some of the players

:16:31.:16:32.

World Cup in 2011, and semis and the third

:16:33.:16:36.

quarter didn't go too well for

:16:37.:16:37.

us on those occasions so hopefully we can turn that around

:16:38.:16:40.

Let's re-join Tomos now in Bordeaux. for you at 8.00pm.

:16:41.:16:53.

Since 1958, the closest a Welshman has come to playing

:16:54.:16:55.

in a major football tournament is on a computer.

:16:56.:16:59.

And with that in mind, here's our guide to Wales' group

:17:00.:17:01.

at Euro 2016, which celebrates both the beautiful game

:17:02.:17:05.

Wales are in group B, alongside England, Russia and Slovakia.

:17:06.:17:16.

First up, Slovakia - underestimate them

:17:17.:17:20.

They've just beaten world champions Germany in a

:17:21.:17:25.

friendly and beat Spain during qualification for the Euros.

:17:26.:17:28.

Wales have played them twice before and

:17:29.:17:31.

A 5-2 win away but a 5-1 thrashing in Cardiff.

:17:32.:17:39.

The only high point of that game - Gareth Bale's

:17:40.:17:42.

Apparently, they won something back in 1966 but

:17:43.:17:51.

Their team is full of stars and full of

:17:52.:17:56.

Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy among the Premier League's top

:17:57.:18:00.

With a perfect record in qualifying ten wins from ten games,

:18:01.:18:06.

they are favourites to top the group and beat Wales.

:18:07.:18:11.

But they don't always live up to the potential when

:18:12.:18:13.

Responsible for Welsh heartbreak when they beat us

:18:14.:18:20.

in the play-offs for Euro 2004, Fielding a player, Yegor Titov,

:18:21.:18:25.

There aren't too many household names in the

:18:26.:18:32.

Russian squad and their star player Alan Dzagoev

:18:33.:18:36.

has already withdrawn through

:18:37.:18:37.

The Russians have bags of experience but they're an ageing

:18:38.:18:42.

squad and Wales' pacey attackers will love to exploit that.

:18:43.:18:46.

Finish in the top two and Wales go through to

:18:47.:18:50.

the next round but the four best third-place finishers

:18:51.:18:52.

Lets hope Wales will prosper throughout this tournament

:18:53.:19:13.

24,000 Welsh fans have tickets for tomorrow's game.

:19:14.:19:16.

They'll be savouring all the atmosphere here in Bordeaux.

:19:17.:19:18.

But many more will be on the edge of their seats back home in Wales,

:19:19.:19:22.

watching the game with friends and family.

:19:23.:19:23.

Carwyn Jones has been looking at how Wales is preparing for

:19:24.:19:26.

the tournament that's been 58 years in the making.

:19:27.:19:29.

Camera phones at the ready because the euro is looming large on the

:19:30.:19:36.

Welsh capital. As if we needed any reminder, a giant Welsh football

:19:37.:19:41.

shirt now dominates the city 's shopping precinct, a photo

:19:42.:19:43.

opportunity this proved impossible to resist. Something else that

:19:44.:19:49.

appeared in Cardiff is this a fan zone, a huge field behind the

:19:50.:19:52.

castle, where Wales supporters can come together to enjoy all the

:19:53.:19:56.

action. Tomorrow, around 6000 football thanks -- fans will be

:19:57.:20:02.

gathering here to watch Wales played Slovakia on a giant screen placed

:20:03.:20:08.

behind me and that's green organisers say is the largest high

:20:09.:20:11.

definition screen anywhere in the UK. Watching the last minute

:20:12.:20:16.

preparations with pride as Blackwood student Marc Jones. He fired up a

:20:17.:20:22.

social media campaign calling for a fan zone in the capital when it

:20:23.:20:26.

looked like wasn't going to be won. His petition got 1000 signatures in

:20:27.:20:31.

a fortnight and it's all paid off. Hopefully in years to come, people

:20:32.:20:36.

will be looking back at thousands of people celebrating here and looking

:20:37.:20:41.

back at it. So really emotional! It'll be just

:20:42.:20:45.

as emotional for fans in Swansea, the city 's Castle Square is hosting

:20:46.:20:50.

a fan zone two. Tomorrow, thousands of supporters are expected to take

:20:51.:20:55.

the train, heading into city centres to enjoy the match. British

:20:56.:20:59.

Transport Police is beefing up its presence on the rail network.

:21:00.:21:04.

We do have sufficient resources to make sure we cater for normal

:21:05.:21:09.

footfall through our stations but also that extra level that might

:21:10.:21:13.

come through and parts that might come through with the way for drug.

:21:14.:21:21.

Throughout the tournament, at nightfall, 16 historic landmarks

:21:22.:21:24.

including Conwy Castle will turn red. Be lit up throughout the group

:21:25.:21:28.

stages and as and as long as Wales is in the tournament, fans will be

:21:29.:21:32.

hoping the night sky stays that way well into July.

:21:33.:21:33.

Well, the mass exodus of Wales fans started a few days ago.

:21:34.:21:37.

The initial few dozens have now been joined by thousands

:21:38.:21:40.

Those without a ticket to the game at Stade de Bordeaux

:21:41.:21:45.

will be able to watch it in the fan zone in the city.

:21:46.:21:49.

Tonight, people are gathering for the opening game

:21:50.:21:54.

This is the Bordeaux fan zone and you can watch it. Actually, 62,000

:21:55.:22:15.

people can come here and watch every game. Bear in mind, that's 20,000

:22:16.:22:21.

more than will be in the stadium against Slovakia tomorrow. These two

:22:22.:22:25.

fans will be there. You've been a lifelong football supporter.

:22:26.:22:28.

What's it like to finally be here? Absolutely incredible. It's the

:22:29.:22:35.

final leg of a journey that I started about 31 years ago in

:22:36.:22:39.

Cardiff. It is a journey never thought I'd make and here we are

:22:40.:22:43.

today in the fan zone in Bordeaux, absolutely loving it.

:22:44.:22:49.

And it's going to emotional. I think I cried when we beat

:22:50.:22:55.

Belgium, I certainly did cry when I went to Zeneca. Tomorrow, when they

:22:56.:22:59.

play the national anthem, I'll be in tears of joy.

:23:00.:23:04.

Ryan, can you quite believe this moment is actually here?

:23:05.:23:09.

Not really. The sticker books and the songs, it's all been surreal and

:23:10.:23:15.

its sinking in. Walking around Bordeaux today and seeing all the

:23:16.:23:20.

flags and the fan zone, spotting Welsh people all over, it's sinking

:23:21.:23:25.

in but when those teams walk-out tomorrow, that's when we'll know. I

:23:26.:23:30.

really believe that this is happening, cos I still can't quite

:23:31.:23:35.

get my head around our little nation has finally got our spot on the

:23:36.:23:40.

world's speech. Release -- really proud.

:23:41.:23:46.

Thank you from that. It's been a mixed day here in Bordeaux,

:23:47.:23:50.

weather-wise, but the sun is coming out. Let's get the full weather back

:23:51.:23:56.

home with Llyr Gruffydd Davis. A mixed bag there is well. Humid

:23:57.:24:00.

conditions of the most to the country for most of the week, and

:24:01.:24:04.

into the weekend. Some showers tonight as well. The showers are

:24:05.:24:10.

mixed all over the place, not much of a pattern. Some late today

:24:11.:24:14.

brightness of the parts of Pembrokeshire with showers

:24:15.:24:20.

elsewhere, high over mid Wales. Some more heavy showers there but a mild

:24:21.:24:24.

night. Quite unsettled and certainly feeling maquis. We've got low

:24:25.:24:31.

pressure in charge of the weather and this is bringing more unsettled

:24:32.:24:36.

conditions. A series of friends in the West, pushing over the country

:24:37.:24:39.

over the next few days. Not necessarily bringing heavy rain but

:24:40.:24:44.

making things damper. Tomorrow morning, eight o'clock, we see

:24:45.:24:47.

plenty of sunshine in the south-east, spells of such a comment

:24:48.:24:51.

go during the day but further north, more showers. These could be heavy

:24:52.:24:54.

at times but still quite well, considering it's early in the

:24:55.:24:59.

morning. Some more showers as we go down into parts of south Ceredigion

:25:00.:25:04.

and barbiturates are. Quite a mixed bag ahead for Saturday. We'll see

:25:05.:25:09.

more showers throughout the day once again. Some drier spells as well. A

:25:10.:25:13.

hint of sunshine here and there before evening. In the evening,

:25:14.:25:21.

quite another warm evening, temperatures around 16-18dC and

:25:22.:25:26.

Saturday nights, Maggie once again. One or two afternoons boss of

:25:27.:25:30.

sunshine as we go into Saturday night but then, more rain pushing in

:25:31.:25:33.

from the south-west in the early hours of Sunday. Still feeling quite

:25:34.:25:42.

stuffy. Sunday itself, are starts across most of the country with rain

:25:43.:25:46.

pushing across the country, gradually clearing towards the east,

:25:47.:25:50.

so although it looks dismal on the map, we could see some dry weather

:25:51.:25:53.

and hints of brightness before we get to the end of Sunday. An outlook

:25:54.:26:00.

for the next two days. The showers continue for tonight, into Saturday,

:26:01.:26:04.

cloudy at times. Some showers across the country, wetter than for Sunday

:26:05.:26:08.

and the beginning next week, the mild conditions remain. More cloud,

:26:09.:26:12.

showers and sunny intervals, but are looking clearer and certainly

:26:13.:26:17.

brighter by the end of next week. Have a great weekend.

:26:18.:26:22.

Tomorrow, you can listen to commentary on the game on BBC world

:26:23.:26:34.

and Radio Cymru with updates on line. Live coverage on S4C and

:26:35.:26:39.

you're on BBC One Wales, the coverage starts at four o'clock.

:26:40.:26:44.

Kick-off at five o'clock. You won't miss a thing here on the BBC. The

:26:45.:26:49.

players are at their hotels to night. Quietly contemplating the

:26:50.:26:54.

task ahead on the streets and expectations are high and reaching a

:26:55.:26:55.

crescendo. Having endured decades of despair,

:26:56.:27:00.

years of footballing frustration and near misses,

:27:01.:27:02.

many thought this day would never come - that Wales would play

:27:03.:27:04.

on the big stage, making history.
