A major rescue operation in the Brecon Beacons after 26 | :00:00. | :00:11.
Emergency service and mountain rescue teams battled in poor weather | :00:12. | :00:14.
You don't expect wind and rain in the middle of June. | :00:15. | :00:24.
And you can see now, blue sky, how fast the weather | :00:25. | :00:26.
can change within the hour that we have been stood here. | :00:27. | :00:40.
The 26 children have now been brought down the mountain and they | :00:41. | :00:44.
are the Community Hospital where they are being checked over by | :00:45. | :00:45.
medical staff. With Labour in chaos, | :00:46. | :00:57.
what do members here to get First Minister calls | :00:58. | :01:02.
for a leadership contest. We have no of winning an election | :01:03. | :01:11.
if we carry on like this. There needs to be a resolution | :01:12. | :01:14.
and that of course means Rolling out reassurances for Welsh | :01:15. | :01:17.
businesses after Brexit. The Welsh Secretary says | :01:18. | :01:20.
they will get support. Good evening from Lille, | :01:21. | :01:22.
where in 48 hours, Wales face Belgium in the | :01:23. | :01:25.
quarterfinals of Euro 2016. There's no doubting | :01:26. | :01:28.
Gareth Bale's popularity - and while a win on Friday | :01:29. | :01:30.
means his team mate misses a family wedding, | :01:31. | :01:32.
Bale revealed he doesn't expect I planned everything | :01:33. | :01:39.
for after the final, so why was the clever one | :01:40. | :01:48.
in the group, I think. A major operation has been underway | :01:49. | :01:55.
in the Brecon Beacons after a group Mountain rescue teams, emergency | :01:56. | :02:00.
services and the Coastguard's rescue helicopter were deployed to find | :02:01. | :02:04.
a group of 26 teenagers who were doing their Duke | :02:05. | :02:06.
of Edinburgh Award. The group of 15-year-olds | :02:07. | :02:08.
from St Albans in Hertfordshire got lost | :02:09. | :02:10.
in the poor weather They've all been rescued and are now | :02:11. | :02:11.
being assessed in Ben, a difficult rescue | :02:12. | :02:15.
operation this afternoon? Yes, it has been very difficult. | :02:16. | :02:38.
Like you said, I am currently in Ystradgynlais but the heart of this | :02:39. | :02:41.
operation took place some six or seven miles up the road at the | :02:42. | :02:48.
bottom of the Brecon Beacons. We understand that 26 children from | :02:49. | :02:54.
Saint buns School in North London had made their way over here to | :02:55. | :02:58.
south Wales where they were taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh Silver | :02:59. | :03:03.
award. We understand the children were up on the mountain and split | :03:04. | :03:06.
into four different groups and in one of those groups, to children | :03:07. | :03:11.
became very unwell. Their friends then contacted the emergency service | :03:12. | :03:16.
that around 1:30pm and then in a broad rescue teams were deployed, | :03:17. | :03:22.
three mountain teams in fact, as well as the Ambulance Services, they | :03:23. | :03:27.
also had assistance from the air. A rescue operation took around about | :03:28. | :03:30.
three to four hours and it was very cloudy. There was heavy rain and of | :03:31. | :03:34.
course it was very cold. These children were lost in quite a remote | :03:35. | :03:38.
area, as one of the search and rescue teams told is a short while | :03:39. | :03:43.
ago. We have been involved in a search and rescue for a number of | :03:44. | :03:49.
Duke of Edinburgh students who were lost on the Hill this morning. In | :03:50. | :03:54.
the poor weather conditions. You have all seen what that was like. | :03:55. | :04:01.
They were located. We used the rescue 189 helicopter, that helped | :04:02. | :04:05.
take off all their equipment and kit. All of the groups have been | :04:06. | :04:10.
located and all of them are currently either off or being walked | :04:11. | :04:16.
off the hill. What can you tell us about the condition of the | :04:17. | :04:21.
schoolchildren? The children were brought down off the mountain around | :04:22. | :04:25.
about an hour ago by the search and rescue team. Their bags were brought | :04:26. | :04:28.
down ahead of them because of the weight. The children were so cold | :04:29. | :04:31.
and tired. They have since been brought here to the Community | :04:32. | :04:35.
Hospital where they are being checked over by medical staff. One | :04:36. | :04:39.
of the team leaders from the school told me half an hour ago what the | :04:40. | :04:43.
latest is on their condition. They did as they were trained. They were | :04:44. | :04:47.
told to put their bags up so they fed themselves, watered themselves, | :04:48. | :04:52.
make sure they were warm. And then as soon as they were ready, the | :04:53. | :04:57.
mountain rescue workers happy that everything was OK, they was walked | :04:58. | :04:59.
down the safest quickest route down the mountain. We also understand | :05:00. | :05:04.
that the children are in good spirits and they will be taken | :05:05. | :05:07.
shortly from the hospital down the road to where they are staying | :05:08. | :05:11.
overnight before then making their way back to the school in London | :05:12. | :05:15.
after what has been a very long and worrying day. | :05:16. | :05:17.
The First Minister says Labour has "no hope" of winning an election | :05:18. | :05:20.
Carwyn Jones was speaking in the wake of the overwhelming vote | :05:21. | :05:24.
of no confidence in Jeremy Corbyn and said there now needs to be | :05:25. | :05:27.
The Labour leader says quitting would betray the members | :05:28. | :05:30.
So with the party in chaos, how is that playing out in Wales? | :05:31. | :05:40.
Here's Political Editor, Nick Servini. | :05:41. | :05:46.
Is anyone listening to Jeremy Corbyn? | :05:47. | :05:52.
This was the Labour leader in Cardiff in the referendum | :05:53. | :05:54.
campaign and it is his role in that which is at the centre | :05:55. | :05:57.
It is not exactly 180, but in fact, it was 172 of his own MPs | :05:58. | :06:04.
who refused to back him in a secret ballot. | :06:05. | :06:06.
That of course was among MPs at Westminster. | :06:07. | :06:08.
I spoke to two Labour councillors, one who wants Jeremy Corbyn to go | :06:09. | :06:14.
Regrettably, I think that he should step down. | :06:15. | :06:26.
Amongst his MPs and I am fearful that in the event of a subsequent | :06:27. | :06:34.
general election when ever that will take place that the core Labour | :06:35. | :06:37.
Surely there is something missing here between | :06:38. | :06:47.
The vast majority of the membership want Jeremy. | :06:48. | :06:50.
What is missing between those two dots, why can't we join the dots? | :06:51. | :07:01.
Local councillors pride themselves in being in touch with their party | :07:02. | :07:04.
members but no one really knows what would happen | :07:05. | :07:06.
if there was another leadership contest. | :07:07. | :07:07.
MPs believe much of the support that previously existed | :07:08. | :07:10.
for Jeremy Corbyn is on the wane because the referendum | :07:11. | :07:12.
Corbyn loyalists say the Brexit has caused upheaval everywhere | :07:13. | :07:16.
and the last thing Labour needs to do is throw things up in the air. | :07:17. | :07:20.
The First Minister has refused to directly criticise Jeremy Corbyn | :07:21. | :07:22.
but he did say that if he had lost that level of support | :07:23. | :07:25.
among his own Assembly Members, he would find it difficult | :07:26. | :07:28.
to continue and he had this assessment of | :07:29. | :07:30.
We have no hope of winning an election if we carry | :07:31. | :07:41.
There needs to be a resolution and then of course that then means | :07:42. | :07:49.
At the start of the week, eight of Labour's shadow | :07:50. | :07:57.
Three more have now followed, leaving one Welsh MP, | :07:58. | :08:01.
Chris Bryant, Nia Griffith and Owen Smith are among | :08:02. | :08:08.
the more prominent, with the Shadow Welsh Secretary role | :08:09. | :08:10.
still vacant, despite being offered to four MPs. | :08:11. | :08:12.
Jeremy Corbyn supporters in Wales have warned that there could be | :08:13. | :08:19.
consequences for the MPs who have gone against him. | :08:20. | :08:23.
I think that we really do need to look at a more robust structure | :08:24. | :08:26.
of accountability for our MPs, including mandatory reselection. | :08:27. | :08:28.
I think for those MPs who have been consistently disloyal | :08:29. | :08:31.
to the leadership then I think that is what constituency parties | :08:32. | :08:33.
There are some MPs that have proven that they put themselves before | :08:34. | :08:45.
The drama may be all happening at Westminster at the moment but it | :08:46. | :08:50.
looks increasingly likely that it will be resolved | :08:51. | :08:52.
by voters in heartland areas across the country. | :08:53. | :09:04.
How serious is this for Labour? It is one of the biggest crises the | :09:05. | :09:14.
party has faced. He has stubbornly stood his ground that it looks | :09:15. | :09:17.
likely that we will go to either ship contest. It really is a role of | :09:18. | :09:22.
the dice. If Jeremy Corbyn wins again, then it becomes very | :09:23. | :09:27.
difficult to envisage how so many of these MPs could operate underneath | :09:28. | :09:32.
him. For example Chris is yesterday described him as narcissistic, | :09:33. | :09:40.
egotistical and arrogant. And Chris Bryant the Rhondda MP has questioned | :09:41. | :09:46.
whether Jeremy Corbyn even voted leaving the referendum campaign. And | :09:47. | :09:51.
then if you go one step further, if many of these MPs are deselected, | :09:52. | :09:56.
then you really are in the territory of the party spitting, which is | :09:57. | :10:00.
people are openly talking about as a possibility. And how do you think | :10:01. | :10:05.
party members would vote if there was a leadership contest gushing | :10:06. | :10:08.
mark the critics are saying there is a soft underbelly of those who | :10:09. | :10:11.
supported him last year and these people have seen the scale of the | :10:12. | :10:16.
challenge and believe there should be changed. The real danger is that | :10:17. | :10:19.
those who support Jeremy Corbyn could just hold their ground even | :10:20. | :10:24.
further and portray this as a rather grubby coup by a group of MPs who | :10:25. | :10:29.
never liked him anyway. And if we are not situation, it is very | :10:30. | :10:32.
difficult to see how the party can navigate its way through it. | :10:33. | :10:36.
The First Minister also said this morning that he'll make sure | :10:37. | :10:38.
Wales gets the best deal following the Brexit vote | :10:39. | :10:41.
and stressed the importance of access to the single market. | :10:42. | :10:43.
It comes as Welsh Secretary Alun Cairns has been meeting | :10:44. | :10:45.
with business leaders, telling them they will be supported | :10:46. | :10:47.
Our business correspondent Brian Meechan has more. | :10:48. | :10:57.
Since the UK's decision to leave the European Union last week, the focus | :10:58. | :11:02.
of this business in Caldicot like most across Wales has been on | :11:03. | :11:08.
continuing to build on its success. This company uses PVC for canopies, | :11:09. | :11:12.
banners and other structures, for sporting events like Wimbledon and | :11:13. | :11:18.
concerts. It has been operating on this industrial estate since it | :11:19. | :11:23.
started in 2000 and it now employs almost 30 people. Some of the | :11:24. | :11:26.
workers here told me they were very happy with the decision to leave the | :11:27. | :11:30.
EU. It is a good thing for the UK. It is about time we all got our | :11:31. | :11:36.
country back and do what us Brits do best. I voted out. I was happy with | :11:37. | :11:44.
it. But we will just see how things pan out. Managers are more concerned | :11:45. | :11:49.
about the uncertainty it has caused. I do think it was well explained | :11:50. | :11:53.
anyway. I think there was a hell of a long build-up to it which I think | :11:54. | :11:57.
affected business at the time. The effect now that we have... Post | :11:58. | :12:04.
Brexit, I am not sure what will happen next. I don't think anyone | :12:05. | :12:07.
knows. Realistically, everything now hinges on what the UK can negotiate | :12:08. | :12:12.
with the European Union but it is not in a position to dictate terms. | :12:13. | :12:16.
Access to the European single market and controlling immigration will be | :12:17. | :12:21.
two key areas. Successfully achieving one will probably require | :12:22. | :12:24.
giving some ground on the other. The Welsh Secretary was in Cardiff | :12:25. | :12:28.
meeting business leaders to try to give them some assurances about the | :12:29. | :12:30.
governments actions. I can tell people for at least two years and | :12:31. | :12:36.
seemingly beyond that there is the opportunity of getting ourselves in | :12:37. | :12:40.
a strong position, as well as untangling our position slowly so | :12:41. | :12:43.
that Wales can continue with the greatest ability possible. The CBI | :12:44. | :12:48.
warned ahead of the referendum that leaving the European Union would be | :12:49. | :12:51.
damaging but now says we have got to get on with the outcome. There are | :12:52. | :12:55.
some very real short-term concerns about the strength of the pound for | :12:56. | :12:58.
example, what happens to immigrant labour which is currently in this | :12:59. | :13:01.
country, there are also medium-term consent -- concerns about trade. We | :13:02. | :13:07.
should not kid ourselves that there are concerns out there but we are | :13:08. | :13:10.
trained to be as optimistic and confident as possible, rolling our | :13:11. | :13:13.
sleeves up and getting round the tea -- table. With the UK voting for | :13:14. | :13:18.
Brexit less than a week ago, it is too early to know what it will mean | :13:19. | :13:21.
for businesses like this one. In the meantime, like many others, they are | :13:22. | :13:24.
getting on with the job in hand while the politicians negotiate the | :13:25. | :13:25.
rest. The MP for Preseli Pembrokeshire, | :13:26. | :13:27.
Stephen Crabb, has launched his campaign to become the next Prime | :13:28. | :13:29.
Minister. The Work and Pensions Secretary | :13:30. | :13:31.
dismissed claims he's too inexperienced to replace | :13:32. | :13:33.
David Cameron as Conservative leader and said his background | :13:34. | :13:35.
in negotiating further power for Wales puts him in a good | :13:36. | :13:37.
position to take Britain out He's the first MP to throw his hat | :13:38. | :13:40.
in the ring and addressed a packed I am going to take one | :13:41. | :13:44.
final question from David He knows far too much | :13:45. | :13:52.
about me, but only if it Stephen, as Secretary of State | :13:53. | :13:56.
for Wales, you set yourself a task of finding a cross-party | :13:57. | :14:06.
consensus on devolution. If you couldn't find that, how | :14:07. | :14:08.
you're going to negotiate Britain's exit from the European Union and how | :14:09. | :14:11.
can you lead a one nation government when as a Welsh MP, there are some | :14:12. | :14:14.
vote is on your own legislation you will not be able | :14:15. | :14:17.
to take part in? That is an interesting question | :14:18. | :14:23.
about devolution arrangements. We did establish that cross-party | :14:24. | :14:25.
agreement in the end. We managed to blend all of those | :14:26. | :14:29.
different viewpoints from the Welsh nationalists | :14:30. | :14:32.
to the Conservatives, who were completely | :14:33. | :14:34.
opposed to devolution. I brought together | :14:35. | :14:35.
people around the table. I managed to get a coherent position | :14:36. | :14:38.
and we are taking forward a bill. As far as my working Wales goes, | :14:39. | :14:41.
that actually proves the points I have been trained | :14:42. | :14:44.
to make in the speech. With regard to English votes | :14:45. | :14:46.
for English laws, English and Welsh votes for English and Welsh laws, | :14:47. | :14:49.
let's not use today as an opportunity to get bogged down | :14:50. | :14:51.
in that constitutional question. David, he's confident he can be the | :14:52. | :15:02.
Prime Minister. Stephen Crabb knows he is the | :15:03. | :15:15.
underdog but sometimes in these elections, it is the outsider who | :15:16. | :15:20.
wins. In the referendum campaign, Stephen Crabb campaigned for Britain | :15:21. | :15:26.
to remain inside the European Union, so his big challenge today was to | :15:27. | :15:30.
try to convince Conservative Party voters who often decide to leave | :15:31. | :15:39.
that he was prepared to deliver the Brexit they had voted for. And he | :15:40. | :15:45.
said that when looking at that, he would be taking on things like | :15:46. | :15:50.
taking control of immigration and ensuring that was a red line for a | :15:51. | :15:55.
Stephen Crabb government. He also said he was worried about the future | :15:56. | :15:58.
of the United Kingdom but he had a plan to save it and that was tied in | :15:59. | :16:02.
with the Brexit negotiations. He would set up an advisory council on | :16:03. | :16:06.
which the members would include the First Minister of Wales Scotland and | :16:07. | :16:09.
Northern Ireland and the London mayor. An outside chance the, yes, | :16:10. | :16:15.
but he hopes to come through the middle. We will know tomorrow will | :16:16. | :16:19.
his main opponents are likely to be when nominations close. Boris | :16:20. | :16:23.
Johnson and Theresa May are the front runners. | :16:24. | :16:27.
Still to come in the programme, mobbed by fans ahead of the Euro | :16:28. | :16:30.
20-16 quarter finals - Gareth Bale says Wales have | :16:31. | :16:32.
And with tens of thousands of Belgians expected in Lille, getting | :16:33. | :16:45.
hotels is proving difficult for Welsh fans. | :16:46. | :16:49.
An inquest jury has concluded that inadequate procedures and staff | :16:50. | :16:51.
shortages probably contributed to the death of a pensioner | :16:52. | :16:53.
Gwilym Lumley died after an incident with a fellow patient at the Heddfan | :16:54. | :16:57.
His family were fighting to get him transferred to a residential home | :16:58. | :17:01.
A family united by grief at their loss and anger | :17:02. | :17:11.
His son Richard gave a statement following the jury's decision. | :17:12. | :17:19.
It has been a hard few days here for our family but necessary ones. | :17:20. | :17:23.
Listing this morning to changes being made in procedures | :17:24. | :17:25.
by the trust has made it slightly easier to bear. | :17:26. | :17:27.
We accept the verdict today and have agreed to assist the health | :17:28. | :17:30.
board in any way we can to improve their services. | :17:31. | :17:38.
A retired chemical engineer, Gwilym Ivor Lumley, known as Ivor, | :17:39. | :17:41.
enjoyed an active life - rock climbing, cross country skiing | :17:42. | :17:43.
But in 2014, he developed dementia and was sectioned under | :17:44. | :17:46.
the Mental Health Act because of occasional aggressive behaviour. | :17:47. | :17:49.
He was detained at the Gwanwyn ward in the Heddfan mental health unit | :17:50. | :17:52.
He died in November, a week after an incident | :17:53. | :17:59.
with another patient caused him to fall leading to | :18:00. | :18:01.
His family had tried in vain to get him transferred | :18:02. | :18:05.
to a residential home in the weeks before but there were delays | :18:06. | :18:08.
and confusion among staff about the correct procedure. | :18:09. | :18:10.
Betsi Cadwaladr health board says, "We acknowledge that poor | :18:11. | :18:12.
communication and documentation contributed to a delay | :18:13. | :18:14.
in Mr Lumley's discharge to a community setting, | :18:15. | :18:16.
and apologise unreservedly to his family." | :18:17. | :18:24.
Staff told the inquest that there's been a steep learning curve, | :18:25. | :18:27.
staffing levels have increased and communication has improved. | :18:28. | :18:29.
The jury recorded a conclusion of accidental death saying | :18:30. | :18:31.
its probable that inadequate policies and procedures | :18:32. | :18:33.

On Friday, the two teams meet in Lille, where we can | :19:57. | :19:59.
Friday's game against Belgium will be the biggest game since 1958, | :20:00. | :20:21.
Belgium are favourites, but will be wary of the Wales team, | :20:22. | :20:26.
as Gareth Bale and his team mates beat them in qualification | :20:27. | :20:28.
We can beat the teams, it does give you that extra | :20:29. | :20:37.
bit of confidence for the team and it does take | :20:38. | :20:39.
I think from that night, from beating Belgium, | :20:40. | :20:42.
we have gone up to another level and we have taken that | :20:43. | :20:45.
game on, with playing more games in our system | :20:46. | :20:47.
and gelling even more, it | :20:48. | :20:48.
Where do you get your motivation to play | :20:49. | :20:56.

We are the only home nation left in the competition, | :21:22. | :21:25.
which is an amazing achievement in itself. | :21:26. | :21:27.
The game against Northern Ireland was a very ugly game that | :21:28. | :21:30.
The border with Belgium is around 10 miles that way and the Belgian | :21:31. | :21:47.

Tens of thousands of fans are expected to cross the border. | :21:50. | :21:52.

The game coincides with services to remember those who died | :21:56. | :21:58.
in the Battle of the Somme a century ago. | :21:59. | :22:01.
This is lovely, I have got to be honest. | :22:02. | :22:20.
For the Wales fans on their way to Lille, there is a small | :22:21. | :22:23.
Le Gallois, a local twist on Welsh rarebit. | :22:24. | :22:26.
And it may prove popular, especially when there are already | :22:27. | :22:28.
plenty of home comforts for their Belgian opposition. | :22:29. | :22:30.
In fact, about ten miles along this road from this end of Lille, | :22:31. | :22:33.
over the border into Belgium, they have made their loyalty | :22:34. | :22:36.
is pretty clear and this village, which is just a short 20 minute | :22:37. | :22:39.
drive is much closer than where most of the Welsh fans | :22:40. | :22:41.
No wonder the Belgians consider Friday night as a home match. | :22:42. | :22:49.
It is no surprise then that Belgium fans outnumbered the Welsh | :22:50. | :22:59.
From what we read, it is between 100,000, | :23:00. | :23:03.
There is also some kind of action going on for the French | :23:04. | :23:07.
And supporters from Wales who have made it had to plan well in advance. | :23:08. | :23:15.
We booked all the quarterfinal possibilities in the hope that one | :23:16. | :23:17.

Accommodation is proving particularly expensive on Friday, | :23:25. | :23:26.
as the city plays host to commemorations to mark | :23:27. | :23:28.
the centenary of the Battle of the Somme. | :23:29. | :23:30.

Lille has been earmarked for the main centre | :23:40. | :23:41.
for the remembrance services, a lot of people are going to be | :23:42. | :23:43.
Old people old people and people who want to remember their family. | :23:44. | :23:49.
And it is going to be expensive for those, never mind | :23:50. | :23:52.
The football fans have just ended up here, we'll be near we were | :23:53. | :23:56.
Trying to book accommodation for one, it is 500 | :23:57. | :23:59.
At home in Bridgend, Ryan and his dad have not missed | :24:00. | :24:04.
Getting to Lille has proved the most difficult and costly. | :24:05. | :24:08.
We have got a 6am start to drive to Folkestone. | :24:09. | :24:11.
We have got the Channel Tunnel to Calais. | :24:12. | :24:13.
We could not get accommodation in Lille, so we are | :24:14. | :24:15.
There were no options available or they were very expensive. | :24:16. | :24:25.
Plenty more Wales fans will arrive over the next couple of days | :24:26. | :24:28.
to make their mark on the city and hopefully balance out any | :24:29. | :24:31.
reminders of close relationships with very near neighbours. | :24:32. | :24:42.
This time last year, we were basking in the sunshine. Today has been | :24:43. | :24:57.
pretty cold and wet but the weather improving a little bit as we head | :24:58. | :25:00.
into tonight. Certainly bright for the start of tomorrow morning with | :25:01. | :25:05.
patchy rain to come. Here is the radar picture, showing the extent of | :25:06. | :25:12.
the rain that came in from the West. Behind it, it is brighter and we do | :25:13. | :25:15.
have some showers running across North Wales. Some evening sunshine | :25:16. | :25:18.
once the sunset we will see clear skies. Mist and fog forming tomorrow | :25:19. | :25:25.
morning. Temperatures not dropping too much. Tomorrow, pressure is | :25:26. | :25:32.
trying to rise from the south. Also this weather front is sneaking in | :25:33. | :25:36.
from the west, bringing some all cloud and rain with it by the time | :25:37. | :25:41.
we get into the afternoon. But for the rush-hour first thing tomorrow | :25:42. | :25:44.
morning, it is mostly dry and bright. The cloud will thicken from | :25:45. | :25:50.
the West. Then it is a case of patchy rain as we head into late | :25:51. | :25:56.
morning and into the afternoon. Those temperatures 15-17dC. Tomorrow | :25:57. | :25:59.
night, the rain continuing for a time but it will push through pretty | :26:00. | :26:05.
quickly. On Friday morning, more patchy in nature. Tembi does not | :26:06. | :26:12.
dropping too much thanks to the wind, ranging from 11-14dC. As we | :26:13. | :26:18.
head towards the end of the week, we will see another feature pushing up | :26:19. | :26:22.
from the North, bringing some showers with it. It is a dry start | :26:23. | :26:28.
to Friday morning. Then those showers across parts of the North | :26:29. | :26:33.
and West, spilling further south. Some useful weather in between. | :26:34. | :26:38.
Temperatures ranging 14-16dC and it will be rather blustery. As we head | :26:39. | :26:43.
into the weekend, Saturday is your best day. More in the way of | :26:44. | :26:46.
sunshine. More persistent rain to come by the time we get to Sunday. A | :26:47. | :26:53.
reminder of the top story, 26 teenagers from London have been | :26:54. | :26:55.
rescued in the breast -- Brecon Beacons. | :26:56. | :27:02.
They have all now been taken to safety. And the First Minister has | :27:03. | :27:09.
joined calls for a leadership contest after a vote of | :27:10. | :27:12.
no-confidence in Jeremy Corbyn by his own Labour MPs. Jeremy Corbyn | :27:13. | :27:16.
says quitting would betray the members that backed him. We have no | :27:17. | :27:21.
hope of winning an election if we carry on like this. There needs to | :27:22. | :27:26.
be a resolution and then of course, that then means a leadership | :27:27. | :27:27.
contest. You can hear more from Carwyn Jones | :27:28. | :27:29.
on the Wales Report at 10:40pm on BBC One. | :27:30. | :27:33.
Carwy The next subtitled bulletin is just before eight o'clock, more | :27:34. | :27:35.
after the News at Ten. For now, from all of us here, | :27:36. | :27:38.
have a good evening. | :27:39. | :27:45. |
