The Newport West MP Paul Flynn has been appointed

as the new Shadow Secretary of State for Wales.

Mr Flynn, who's 81, will carry out the role along with that

of Shadow Leader of the House.

Meanwhile the former Labour leader Lord Kinnock has called

on Jeremy Corbyn to step aside.

Here's our Political Correspondent, Arwyn Jones.

Last week he was apopinted as the Shadow Leader

of the House and today, as more and more Labour MPs refused

to serve in the Shadow Cabinet, Paul Flynn is also the Shadow

Secretary of State for Wales.

He took to social media to say, while he was happy

with his two roles, he thought it best to pass on the chance to take

Aaron Ramsey's place in the Wales team as well!

But not everyone's been in such high spirits today.

As a Labour Leader during the turbulent 1980s,

Neil Kinnock knows a thing or two about keeping the party together.

When he was in charge, though, he fought against the party's left,

the very people defending Jeremy Corbyn now.

After a majority of MPs backed a vote of no confidence

in Mr Corbyn last week, today, the former leader urged the current

leader to stand aside.

Under the rules of the Labour Party, under the democratic

provisions of the Labour Party and the common-sense provisions of the

Labour Party, the leader must have substantial support

in the Parliamentary party.

Obviously there is no basis on which Jeremy

really could or should stay.

And Lord Kinnock wasn't the only one calling

for the Labour leader to go today, Rhondda MP Chris Bryant said it

would break the back of the party if Mr Corbyn remained in charge.

At this rally in Cardiff Friday night there was plenty

of support for Mr Corbyn.

His supporters say the fact he was elected last September

with an overwhelming majority has to count for something,

but others suggest that support might be waning.

Yesterday we reported from the former Labour cabinet

minister, Peter Hain that these were dangerous times for the party.

At a time when they could be turning their attacks on a clearly

divided Conservative party in Westminster,

the internal wranglings inside the Labour party

show no sign of waning.

South Wales Police are continuing to question a 42-year-old man

after the death of a 27-year-old man in Barry in the early

hours of Saturday.

Police are treating the death as unexplained.

A 29-year-old man, who was arrested, has been released and

will not face any action.

Football - and the Wales team trained in Dinard this morning,

preparing for Wedensday night's semi-final against

Portugal in Euro 2016.

They will be without Aaron Ramsey and Ben Davies who are suspended,

but the Manager feels the sqaud is strong enough to deal

with the loss.

When leaving Dinard for the quarterfinals last week some

journalists may have thought the time he had come to an end.

But in numbers, they're back in Brittany.

More media personnel than ever eager to

hear from the most successful manager in Welsh football history.

I think the time for us to start reflecting on this tournament will

be whenever the time is for us to go home.

And that time is not now.

Also put in front of the press today, the

man who fooled three Belgian defenders in Lille on Friday night.

His fancy footwork sure to be re-enacted by children on pitches

throughout the country for years to come.

Obviously what it meant to the nation and the manner in which I

scored it, it was a special feeling for myself and for all of us.

So, yeah, a goal all right.

In this beautiful seaside town of Dinard, Chris Coleman has plotted

a remarkable journey through Euro 2016.

They are in the semifinal.

It is Wales versus Portugal.

Gareth Bale versus Cristiano Ronaldo.

They have some of the best players on the

planet.

Obviously at Real Madrid they know each other very well but he

can still, he still has the capacity to do something special.

Unstoppable.

Of course that's the danger.

But we've got one of them as well in our team.

Wales will be without Aaron Ramsey and Ben Davis

on Wednesday night, both suspended after seeing two yellow cards during

the tournament.

A ruling slightly unfair says the manager.

You've got to feel for them because they've

done so much the same as everybody else to get us where we are but

again that is the tournament of football.

Just the rules with the yellow cards.

I thought, to be honest, the yellow card for Rambo

was a harsh one to be honest.

You've got Eden Hazard who almost picked

the ball up and started bouncing it with his hand and never got a yellow

card.

Whatever happens in Lyon in three days' time, Euro 2016 has been

historically special for Wales but these men

aren't ready to go home

and who would bet against them going all the way?

A record number of television viewers in Wales witnessed the Welsh

team make history by reaching the semi-finals of Euro 2016.

The audience here for the 3 - 1 win over Belgium peaked

at 1.27 million - the highest-ever in the country for live sport.

It was also the third-highest TV audience in Wales this century,

exceeded only by the opening and closing ceremonies

of the London 2012 Olympics.

A look at the weather forecast and it'll be a dry night with some

clearer spells developing, especially through the early hours.

Tomorrow, after a generally dry start, many areas will turn cloudy.

There'll be some drizzle around in places, especially over higher

ground and along the coast.
