Two teenagers are still missing off the Gwynedd coast tonight -

more than 24 hours after they got into difficulty in the water.

15-year-old Waseem Al-Muhflehi and 14-year-old Yahye Mohamed

were swimming at Barmouth beach early yesterday afternoon.

Barmouth beach in August in the sunshine is usually packed

but only a handful of people going into the water today

after two teenage boys went missing in the sea yesterday.

They were on a day trip from Birmingham which was meant

to be a planned fun day but it was short lived.

Everybody started to scream and everything, so...

We tried to look around and we searched

the toilets, we searched everywhere, all the places, try to find them,

It's windy here today but the winds yesterday were even stronger.

The two teenage boys were in the water

One person did see one teenager go underwater and he did

try and rescue him but there was little he could do to help.

In Barmouth today, there was shock and concern.

They haven't been in the water today.

It is a concern when the kids go out in the water

It's quite scary, really, when they are only about 14-15.

Meanwhile, further down the coast a search has been

taking place for who was washed off rocks on a beach in Munt yesterday.

He'd fallen into the sea after he and another man were cut

off by the tide in rough seas and near gale force winds.

So, James, a bit of a climb down from the NEC?

Absolutely. As you said, the party's NEC decided last Monday to give

Nathan kill an ultimatum. Stand down from one role or face expulsion. He

refused to stand down. Because the deadline passed earlier today,

technically, he was expelled from the party for a short period before

reinstallation either party in the afternoon. They also decided that it

is the party's members who should decide whether he stays as an

assembly member and a member of the European assembly. Will he win the

membership vote? One of his close allies was relishing the prospect of

a membership vote thinking he would win it conclusively. He won a vote

regarding assembly candidates back in May by a country mile. Of course,

this is a very different issue so some of his detractors are saying it

could be a close run thing. A little bit of Welsh sporting

history was made last night, as Jazz Carlin became the first

Welsh woman to win an Olympic medal in the pool

for more than eighty years. The 25-year-old picked up

a silver in the 400 metres. After the missing London 2012,

due to illness, Carlin won her medal in style,

setting a Welsh record in the heats, and breaking it again in the final

with a personal best. Obviously, four years ago,

I was watching from the sidelines wishing I was part of the Olympics

and now I've got a silver medal

in my first swim. Elsewhere, Pembrokeshire's

Jasmine Joyce is about to compete for a Bronze medal

with Team GB's Rugby sevens side. They lost their semifinal

against New Zealand and will battle it out

against Canada for an Olympic medal. and Swansea City have

sold their star striker - He's gone to West Ham

for ?20.5 million pounds - who got him on a free

and it's looking promising? summer sunny spells tomorrow but

also a few showers. Temperatures 9-13dC. In the countryside getting

down to about 11 Celsius. The bulk of the country enjoying starry

skies. High pressure is starting to build from the West but we have a

weather system sneaking in risking a few showers across the North and

East. For most places a sunny start. Brisk winds bringing more cloud as

we head into the afternoon. For the rest of the British Isles, a

north-westerly breeze pushing showers in. The further south and

east you are, it is drier and brighter. In Wales tomorrow

afternoon, in the sunshine it will feel pleasantly warm. Highs of

around 19 Celsius. Most of us will get away with a dry day. Overnight,

showers making progress south and eastwards. Becoming dry for a time.

Wednesday is probably the worst day of the week. Patchy rain pushing

south and eastwards. Turning lighter. Highs up to 18 Celsius.

Towards the end of the week, more in the way of sunshine and fewer

showers. There is the potential for something hot next week.
