Good evening. Tomorrow is to bring changes in the weather as the

chours clear to the north, it leads to clear skies. There will be

bright weather, but starting off on a chilly note. In the south, a lot

more cloud and outbreaks of rain. In the last few hours, the rain has

been arriving to south-west England and Wales. The satellite picture

picking up the cloud. In the north, there are one or two showers in the

north-east. They start to fade in the night as it turns drier with

the cloud breaking up allowing the temperatures over Scotland to dip

down to about eight or nine Celsius. Cooler in the countryside.

In the south it has in the as cold. That is because we have the cloud

and the rain. Much of England and Wales getting off to a wet start on

Tuesday morning. Only slowly will the rain push to the north.

It will ease off for a time in the morning, but by the afternoon, the

risk that we could see heavier rain in parts of northern England, just

about the cloud fringing into Newcastle with temperatures at 17

Celsius. The best of the sunshine for Tuesday is across Scotland, the

temperatures in Glasgow is at 19 Celsius. Much of Scotland staying

dry, showers to the north-east. The rest of the sunshine to Northern

Ireland in the morning. Come the afternoon it will be cloudy and wet

with heavy rain at times. The rain easing off for Wales. To the south

it is clearing northwards. Improvements to finish the day in

parts of south-west England. Beginning to see brighter spells

with more sunshine helping to lift the temperatures later on in the

day at 18 Celsius. After a damp start at the Olympic Park it will

turn drier in the evening. Tuesday's weather is driven by this

front. We have a cold front to come through the day on Wednesday. All

of this is tied in with the low pressure and tightly packed isobars.

The winds picking up Tuesday night into Wednesday. There is a risk of

gales around the coast. It is an active front to the west. We could

see heavy, thundery rain. The best chance of seeing delighter

conditions is in the south and the east, giving a warmer day at 22
