Sunday, things should begin to improve to some extent. The showers

there will be some decent dry on a sunny moment to come through the

weekend. But over the next 24 hours, the threat of thunderstorms

looms large. The ingredients have been coming together today - warm

air pushing northwards out of Iberia, cooler air from the Atlantic

trying to pushed away. In between the cloud has been building with a

lot of energy in the atmosphere sparking off some nasty

thunderstorms across parts of northern Spain and south-west

France. They will produce most of the rainfall tomorrow. Ahead of it,

the cloud is starting to produce thunderstorms itself. We've seen in

Cornwall. A few sporadic thunderstorms across central and

southern areas and towards Northern Ireland through the night. Foremost,

a dry night with not a huge of rain about and feeling quite humid. There

could be some nasties storms across Northern Ireland and southern

countries of England tomorrow. Tomorrow morning, they should have

cleared with one or two showers forecast. Elsewhere, where we see

some storms, locally torrential, there are some gaps between them and

so will avoid them altogether. For the Midlands northwards, a few

sporadic storms around to start the day. Many start the day driver

stopped early rain in Northern Ireland pushes northwards. Most of

the storms gather later. Across the bulk of Scotland, dry but fairly

sunny. A bit of mist and fog across the northern isles but temperatures

could be 22 in the Highlands. Watch how the sporadic storms across the

South push northwards, merging into longer spells of heavy rain, locally

torrential, although some spots not seem too much. Northern England and

south-west Scotland and for a time Northern Ireland could see

conditions getting quite nasty. Brightening up in Northern Ireland

and for Wales, central southern and England -- central and southern

England. The rain clears away through Scotland during the first

part of Sunday night. Dry for a time, a fresh start to Sunday. There

will be areas of cloud and one or two showers, the odd heavy one into

the afternoon, particularly for the northern half of the country, but in

the sunshine, it will still feel warm in the sun with temperatures in

the high teens and up to 20s in some spots. More
