Now the national outlook. Good evening. Still a hint of summer

in the air, temperatures up to 3 or 24 for today. Tomorrow, another dry

day for many and skies will probably look like this picture behind me. I

will show you what the satellite picture looked like today. The

reason why I'm showing you this tomorrow the cloud cover will look

similar. Some with clear, blue, skies and sparkling sunshine, others

stuck underneath the low grey skies again. Really, through the course of

tonight it is fairly quiet on the weather front across England and

Wales. Just a few clear spells here and there. You will notice there is

a bit of rain to talk B across the Northern Isles, northern parts of --

talk B across the Northern Isles, northern parts of Scotland and

knocking on the door of Northern Ireland. Let's pick up on this band

of rain. We will start the forecast for the morning rush-hour in

Scotland. You will notice it is raining for Lerwick, Amos mory and

nudging into glass -- across Moray, across the south-west of Scotland

and into Northern Ireland. We are talking about some sunny spells You

will notice this cloudy area. It'll tends to break up through the course

of the morning but it is so hard to predict when the sunshine, which

hour it is going to come out. But to broadly give you the right message,

it will be a dry day w a bit of sunshine coming and going. -- with a

bit of sunshine. This weather front in the north will introduce brighter

and fresher conditions eventually to Scotland. You will see where the

arrows are coming from and you will see a temperature contrast. This is

where we have the rain across the lowlands and into Northern Ireland.

By the time we get to Saturday, that weakening weather front is somewhere

around here. Somewhere across Yorkshire, maybe Lincolnshire and

the Pennines, there could be a few showers. Manchester around about 17.

That front out of the way for our Sunday. So, you can see the cooler,

fresher air comes in. But eastern parts of Scotland and it swerves

back in here. So, we are anticipating rain in Aberdeenshire.

For Newcastle, it is an important day on Sunday. It is of course the

Great North Run. Good luck if you are running, great weather around.
