You're watching East Midlands today. news teams where you are. | :00:00. | :00:00.
Now programme tonight: The drugs blunder that | :00:07. | :00:07.
killed an elderly care home resident. | :00:08. | :00:14.
The 78-year-old woman was ghven a painkiller meant for a resident with | :00:15. | :00:22.
the same name. Also tonight, a family's despair as the mother | :00:23. | :00:26.
suffers a brain haemorrhage while swimming on holiday. I got the back | :00:27. | :00:30.
of her life vest and lifted her face up on the lips were blue. Plus, an | :00:31. | :00:37.
appeal to employers from employees with autism. We should not be made | :00:38. | :00:47.
ashamed of being different. It's as simple as that. The biggest and best | :00:48. | :00:52.
outside India. Leicester celebrates Diwali in style. | :00:53. | :01:10.
First tonight, the wrong drtg given to the wrong care home resident | :01:11. | :01:14.
The blunder ended up costing Patricia Rosen her life. | :01:15. | :01:17.
It happened just hours after she'd moved in to a nursing home | :01:18. | :01:23.
An inquest in Leicester tod`y heard now the medication mistake three | :01:24. | :01:26.
years ago has left Patricia's grieving family | :01:27. | :01:28.
How could such a catastrophhc error have happened? | :01:29. | :01:37.
Our health correspondent was at today's hearing. | :01:38. | :01:39.
was a painkiller given and a very high dose? | :01:40. | :01:47.
That's right. We are talking about a controlled drug which is a | :01:48. | :01:55.
painkiller and also and opi`tes If you were starting out on thhs | :01:56. | :01:58.
medication for painkilling reasons, you would expect about 500 lg to be | :01:59. | :02:04.
given or 16 times the level was that those given to Patricia Rosdn and it | :02:05. | :02:08.
was meant further, but another patient called Patricia in the home. | :02:09. | :02:11.
It was given to the wrong pdrson. Patricia Rosen's first night of the | :02:12. | :02:19.
nursing comeback in Februarx 20 3 was to be her last. A error proved | :02:20. | :02:27.
fatal. She should never havd been given the painkiller. Her f`mily | :02:28. | :02:31.
arrived uttered a's inquest to hear some difficult evidence. Thdre have | :02:32. | :02:36.
been concerns that the home raised about staffing levels during the | :02:37. | :02:40.
night time. The former deputy manager said she stayed latd to | :02:41. | :02:45.
brief a new agency care nurse who gave the fatal dose about the system | :02:46. | :02:49.
for administering the drugs there. She says with hindsight, shd should | :02:50. | :02:54.
have stayed even longer. Thd drugs round was already running four hours | :02:55. | :02:57.
late and it was after midnight when she left, because she was on duty | :02:58. | :03:02.
the next morning. Patricia's family left with two more days of dvidence | :03:03. | :03:06.
to hear which they hope will shed more light on what went so | :03:07. | :03:07.
tragically wrong. Rob, this case raises some | :03:08. | :03:09.
important issues, doesn't it? I think so. It raises the issue of | :03:10. | :03:19.
how easy it is for an agencx care nurse to slip into a night shift at | :03:20. | :03:23.
a unfamiliar place and learn all about the systems used therd and how | :03:24. | :03:28.
easy that is. It also raises questions about staffing levels in | :03:29. | :03:31.
this care home back in 2013 and the night in question when they didn't | :03:32. | :03:36.
have the highest number of people they normally do and had to buy in | :03:37. | :03:41.
agency cover. We will hear lore evidence throughout the inqtest | :03:42. | :03:43.
Yes, that's right. There was an investigation by Leicester police | :03:44. | :03:55.
and it was eventually refer to the Crown Prosecution Service who | :03:56. | :03:59.
decided not to bring charges against anyone. They are continuing the | :04:00. | :04:02.
inquest and there will be more evidence read in the next fdw days | :04:03. | :04:05.
and they are expecting its conclude at the end of the week. Thank you. | :04:06. | :04:08.
A family is urging holiday travellers to take out insurance | :04:09. | :04:10.
covering all eventualities after a 39-year-old mother fell | :04:11. | :04:13.
Katy Head from Derby sufferdd a burst blood vessel in her head, | :04:14. | :04:19.
and is now is expected to spend months in intensive care in Athens. | :04:20. | :04:25.
She IS insured, but her husband is now relying on internet donations | :04:26. | :04:30.
On the Greek island of Kos, it was meant to be the holiday of a | :04:31. | :04:37.
lifetime for members of the Head family from Derby to celebr`te | :04:38. | :04:40.
Craig, Katie and young son, Leighton, were enjoying | :04:41. | :04:45.
this boat trip ten days ago when seconds after this picture was | :04:46. | :04:48.
taken, Craig realised something was seriously wrong with Katie. | :04:49. | :04:51.
By the time I'd reached her, her face was | :04:52. | :04:53.
down in the water and I grabbed her back at by her life vest, ptlled | :04:54. | :04:58.
Katie had actually suffered an aneurysm, | :04:59. | :05:01.
a burst blood vessel in | :05:02. | :05:03.
She was taken by ambulance to Kos hospital and was airlifted | :05:04. | :05:07.
to a neurological hospital hn Athens where Craig and Leighton evdntually | :05:08. | :05:10.
Back in Derby, Craig's mum says insurance that Katie and son | :05:11. | :05:18.
Leighton had covered it, but Craig had separate insurance. | :05:19. | :05:27.
Now the firm Katie's using says it has paid all the | :05:28. | :05:30.
maximum extra cash for Craig to stay in Athens. | :05:31. | :05:32.
The family now say they wish they'd checked the details on | :05:33. | :05:35.
Check how much cover you will have and how long xou | :05:36. | :05:40.
can stop out there for, because it's not just the p`tient, | :05:41. | :05:44.
Katie has got millions of pounds worth of medical | :05:45. | :05:47.
insurance, but it's the othdr part that costs you, that you nedd to | :05:48. | :05:50.
Travel experts say your instrance must cover hospital care | :05:51. | :05:53.
in some countries that we take for granted. | :05:54. | :05:55.
If you're in a country such as Spain, say, or Greece, they have | :05:56. | :05:58.
very good medical care on the state, but they don't always provide for | :05:59. | :06:01.
people to look after you in terms of changing | :06:02. | :06:03.
bed sheets and bringing in food. | :06:04. | :06:04.
It is expected in those countries that local families will | :06:05. | :06:07.
So always check the terms and conditions of your policy. | :06:08. | :06:10.
But if you spend up to ?60 ` year for an | :06:11. | :06:13.
annual policy, you should get all of that. | :06:14. | :06:18.
What we would not recommend is | :06:19. | :06:20.
travelling without a policy and secondly, getting a verx cheap | :06:21. | :06:23.
Craig's now relying on Internet donations to stay in | :06:24. | :06:26.
Greece, while Sharon's had to spend ?1000 of her own money | :06:27. | :06:29.
Police have confirmed a 30-xear old woman has died after being struck | :06:30. | :06:40.
It happened at just after 7pm last night on a level crossing | :06:41. | :06:46.
The woman's death isn't being treated as suspicious. | :06:47. | :06:50.
Volunteers came together today to search for a missing wom`n | :06:51. | :06:52.
22-year-old Melanie Wilson hasn t been seen for almost a fortnight. | :06:53. | :07:00.
The last time was October 18 in Sutton-in-Ashfield. | :07:01. | :07:05.
Search group, "Where there's Hope" met in Mansfield today | :07:06. | :07:07.
The organiser says it's unusual for her not to be in | :07:08. | :07:11.
Obviously, she is very big with social media. | :07:12. | :07:17.
All her friends and family say they hear from her every | :07:18. | :07:21.
day and nobody's heard anything and she's not been | :07:22. | :07:24.
Still to come: The old soldhers helping future generations | :07:25. | :07:27.
In Leicester, Veterans of the Korean War have spokdn | :07:28. | :07:31.
of their experience in a new film about the conflict | :07:32. | :07:34.
which claimed three million casualties. | :07:35. | :07:51.
The judge as warned of the danger of carrying knives. | :07:52. | :07:56.
A man has been convicted of murdering a teenager outside | :07:57. | :07:58.
21-year-old Dominic Hallidax-Fox stabbed 17-year-old | :07:59. | :08:01.
The attacker has been sentenced to at least 23 years in prison. | :08:02. | :08:05.
The judge said as long as young men carry knives, lives will be lost | :08:06. | :08:08.
It was outside the Empire b`r in Derbyshire in the early hours of the | :08:09. | :08:21.
10th of April. Here, miner from Leicester was stabbed by Dolinic | :08:22. | :08:25.
Halliday-Fox from Derby. Thd court heard they did not know each other. | :08:26. | :08:30.
Dante Francis did plunge Dolinic Halliday-Fox as the jury saw on | :08:31. | :08:35.
CCTV. They then saw Dominic Halliday-Fox drawing knife `nd | :08:36. | :08:37.
stabbed the teenager. Dominhc Halliday-Fox claims he thought Dante | :08:38. | :08:42.
Francis had a knife and onlx carried his for protection. But tod`y, the | :08:43. | :08:48.
jury decided it was murder. Diana Francis, Dante Francis's mother said | :08:49. | :08:52.
his girlfriend was pregnant and described how devastating it is for | :08:53. | :08:55.
the family. She actually tr`velled in the ambulance with her son and | :08:56. | :09:00.
while he was still awake, and they held hands and he said, it hs OK | :09:01. | :09:04.
mother. Now with the last thme they spoke. I can't imagine what his | :09:05. | :09:08.
mother was going through at that point after standing court `nd say | :09:09. | :09:12.
those things. I just hope that in doing that, it gives her an | :09:13. | :09:15.
opportunity to move past thdse tragic events. Will Derbyshhre | :09:16. | :09:20.
police be doing more about knife crime? Operations are running in | :09:21. | :09:25.
relation to knife crime and it is in power at the importance of | :09:26. | :09:29.
emphasising to youngsters the dangers of carrying knives. Just | :09:30. | :09:36.
stop doing it. The judge sahd to Dominic Halliday-Fox, as long as | :09:37. | :09:41.
young men like you are carrxing knives, more young lives will be | :09:42. | :09:45.
lost and families torn apart. He sentenced him to a minimum of 2 | :09:46. | :09:48.
years in prison before he c`n be considered for release. | :09:49. | :09:52.
Three men continue to be qudstioned by police after a man was found dead | :09:53. | :09:55.
Promise Ndlovu was found in a car park at an industrial unit off | :09:56. | :10:01.
The three men were arrested on suspicion of murder. | :10:02. | :10:09.
The boss of Nottingham's two biggest hospitals has | :10:10. | :10:11.
hinted that a full merger with the Sherwood Forest | :10:12. | :10:15.
The merger process has been halted, because the Queens Medical Centre | :10:16. | :10:21.
needs to concentrate on waiting times at A | :10:22. | :10:24.
There's also continued uncertainty over who'll foot the massivd private | :10:25. | :10:26.
Peter Homa says a scaled down "partnership" is now more lhkely. | :10:27. | :10:35.
The proposed merger is now a more distant prospect. | :10:36. | :10:38.
What we will do is work collaboratively with our | :10:39. | :10:40.
colleagues at Sherwood Forest in a long-term | :10:41. | :10:41.
partnership, focusing on | :10:42. | :10:42.
The reason for the merger was concerns | :10:43. | :10:45.
by the Care Quality Commisshon, and I think these have been | :10:46. | :10:48.
substantially addressed by very good work at | :10:49. | :10:50.
For most of his working lifd, Arran Linton-Smith from Nottingham | :10:51. | :11:00.
It was only when he was diagnosed with autism that his workpl`ce | :11:01. | :11:05.
His story is now part of a new campaign | :11:06. | :11:09.
by the National Autistic Society who are trying to raise | :11:10. | :11:11.
This evening, the 60-year-old is in Westminster talking | :11:12. | :11:17.
to politicians about autism and employment. | :11:18. | :11:19.
Arran Linton-Smith from Nottingham has had a wide range of jobs. | :11:20. | :11:25.
He struggled with some and was asked to | :11:26. | :11:27.
Four years ago, problems at work became clear when | :11:28. | :11:30.
at the age of 56, he was diagnosed with autism. | :11:31. | :11:37.
There's a huge stigma attached to autism. | :11:38. | :11:47.
A lot of autistic people are frightened of entering | :11:48. | :11:49.
A lot of workplaces are frightened of employing someone | :11:50. | :11:52.
who is different, because they often feel threatened as a result of that. | :11:53. | :11:55.
He's a senior consultant at one of the world's biggest support and | :11:56. | :11:58.
He wants to help more employees understand the | :11:59. | :12:02.
benefits that autistic people bring to the workplace. | :12:03. | :12:04.
I'm frequently speaking up `nd I did write | :12:05. | :12:07.
solutions to problems away before the rest of the design team actually | :12:08. | :12:11.
Arran Linton-Smith is a rarhty within a minority. | :12:12. | :12:20.
A survey by the National Autistic Society found that | :12:21. | :12:22.
many autistic people are struggling to find jobs. | :12:23. | :12:24.
32% had either full-time or part-time jobs, that compares | :12:25. | :12:37.
40% of autistic people had never worked. | :12:38. | :12:40.
Arran Linton-Smith's now part of the new autism and emploxment | :12:41. | :12:42.
campaign by the National Autistic Society. | :12:43. | :12:43.
This afternoon, he's been up Parliament sharing his work | :12:44. | :12:46.
Fortunately, I work for a l`rge organisation and I'm in a sdnior | :12:47. | :12:51.
In that position, I can influence change with confidence. | :12:52. | :12:55.
And that's what I've done, H've been open about my autism. | :12:56. | :12:58.
In my role, I feel very strongly about leaving the | :12:59. | :13:00.
door open for the next generation of autistic | :13:01. | :13:02.
adults as they enter the | :13:03. | :13:03.
A little earlier this afternoon I spoke to Sarah Lambert who hs head | :13:04. | :13:23.
of policy Abbey National Autistic Society. I began by asking just how | :13:24. | :13:25.
many people have the condithon. One in 100 people in the UK have | :13:26. | :13:28.
autism and what we found from our research last week is that ` 16 | :13:29. | :13:31.
are in full-time paid work. One as we surveyed those autistic | :13:32. | :13:34.
people not in work, the majority said | :13:35. | :13:36.
they wanted to work and just needed more help both from the Govdrnment | :13:37. | :13:42.
the job centre plus and employers, too, to make sure they get the right | :13:43. | :13:45.
What sort of help are you talking about? | :13:46. | :13:53.
This would be things like stpport in terms of social interacthon | :13:54. | :13:56.
Also, within the workplace there maybe adjustments | :13:57. | :13:59.
that need making so the envhronment is autism friendly. | :14:00. | :14:05.
Lots of autistic people havd problems with bright | :14:06. | :14:07.
lights or loud noises, so he can be about making | :14:08. | :14:10.
simple adjustments in | :14:11. | :14:12.
the workplace so people can concentrate and get on with their | :14:13. | :14:15.
Presumably, that's really about employers and people hn | :14:16. | :14:19.
the workplace being more aw`re and be more accepting? | :14:20. | :14:22.
But the campaign we've just launched, we | :14:23. | :14:28.
also launched a short film showing some of the difficulties autistic | :14:29. | :14:31.
people can find through the interview process, which looks at | :14:32. | :14:33.
communication difficulties they might experience and also some of | :14:34. | :14:35.
the sensory things that I've just mentioned. | :14:36. | :14:43.
You can see that film at | :14:44. | :14:45.
And how will you persuade everyone to watch that? | :14:46. | :14:49.
Well, over a million people have already, | :14:50. | :14:51.
so it's been going out through social media over the | :14:52. | :14:55.
weekend and we do encourage all your viewers to take a look as wdll. | :14:56. | :14:59.
As we enter the season of Remembrance, a phrase yot often | :15:00. | :15:05.
But over the last 60 years, Korea has become known | :15:06. | :15:11.
To redress this, Leicestershire County Counchl has | :15:12. | :15:15.
just released a film to reflect the memories of veterans from | :15:16. | :15:18.
NEWSREEL: UN Troops driven from the bloodiest fighting | :15:19. | :15:29.
of the winter see American farmers pulverise the Reds | :15:30. | :15:31.
The Korean War started just five years | :15:32. | :15:35.
after the end of the Second World War. | :15:36. | :15:39.
It was the first conflict between the West and the colmunist | :15:40. | :15:41.
The north, backed by China and Russia, | :15:42. | :15:48.
attacked the South, which w`s defended by the USA and its allies | :15:49. | :15:51.
There were 3 million casualties, including | :15:52. | :15:53.
Now, members of the Leicester branch of | :15:54. | :15:57.
the British Korean Veterans Association have been recalling | :15:58. | :15:59.
their experiences in an hour-long film. | :16:00. | :16:02.
We just tried to work it so we | :16:03. | :16:05.
went to lunch with either the Canadians or the Americans, because | :16:06. | :16:07.
their food was a lot better than ours. | :16:08. | :16:11.
What the Chinese did was to be themselves in the ground. | :16:12. | :16:17.
They didn't have air superiority so they had to | :16:18. | :16:22.
Anybody who says they were not frightened is | :16:23. | :16:33.
Other veterans who have been interviewed | :16:34. | :16:37.
for the film felt it was important to make their contribution. | :16:38. | :16:43.
If we can stop people creating wars again, | :16:44. | :16:45.
People are never seem to learn the lessons. | :16:46. | :16:48.
I'm a better person for | :16:49. | :16:50.
having been self disciplined, taken pride in myself and consideration | :16:51. | :16:53.
The film has been a three year Labour of love. | :16:54. | :17:06.
We were really pleased to gdt it made, | :17:07. | :17:08.
because the veterans have often said the Korean War is the forgotten war | :17:09. | :17:11.
and they were worried that what they had done, | :17:12. | :17:14.
remarkable things really, were going to be forgotten, | :17:15. | :17:16.
and we wanted to make sure that that wasn't | :17:17. | :17:18.
so and we documented their | :17:19. | :17:19.
They were little more than 19 when they were | :17:20. | :17:22.
sent to Korea, but six decades on, these veterans are determindd it | :17:23. | :17:25.
You can see more of that film on line. Search for East Midlands oral | :17:26. | :17:38.

supporters. There are one point away from relegation. They've worked won | :18:37. | :18:40.
a game in the last ten. Thex are up for sale but while the negotiations | :18:41. | :18:45.
are ongoing, Forest are sliding down the table. On Saturday, thehr to nil | :18:46. | :18:52.
defeat the goals by former Forest players. Another big problel, | :18:53. | :19:07.
defending. This was put in by Chris Gunter, so, another miserable | :19:08. | :19:11.
Saturday by the fans. Ordin`rily, after a performance like thhs, the | :19:12. | :19:14.
manager's position would be in question. Especially at Fordst, | :19:15. | :19:18.
where the average tenure of the manager has been as six months. The | :19:19. | :19:22.
feeling is new owners wants to bring in their own manner, so there is | :19:23. | :19:25.
something of a status quo there but the talks, the takeover talks, at a | :19:26. | :19:31.
key stage and the next few weeks will reveal how things will be going | :19:32. | :19:35.
on what sort of season of the field Forest will have. In the me`ntime, | :19:36. | :19:40.
there is uncertainty about hs a good thing, because it's a ready,made | :19:41. | :19:44.
excuse for the club for bad performances and Forest fans are | :19:45. | :19:47.
hoping that when November comes it will bring much more certainty and | :19:48. | :19:51.
many will want a new owner `nd a new start to risk and it -- rescue the | :19:52. | :19:54.
club. Onto Leicester City | :19:55. | :19:56.
and Claudio Ranieri says his team have their "dilly ding, | :19:57. | :19:59.
dilly dong back". The squad head to Copenhagen | :20:00. | :20:01.
for their next Champions Le`gue game in good spirits after | :20:02. | :20:03.
an excellent point at Tottenham This was more like the Leicdster of | :20:04. | :20:15.
last season. But they went behind to a harsh penalty. It seemed | :20:16. | :20:22.
innocuous, but Tottenham went to the floor and the rest was rootdd to the | :20:23. | :20:26.
spot. Leicester felt earlier that he pushed over another player which was | :20:27. | :20:32.
a clear foul. Protest affected little and the penalty was the only | :20:33. | :20:39.
time. Leicester got the equ`liser when the speed of Jamie Vardy took | :20:40. | :20:44.
him past the defence. Anothdr player threw himself at the ball and earned | :20:45. | :20:48.
them their first away point of the season. I saw the Leicester spirit | :20:49. | :20:54.
when we played together and when we fought together. Today, we played | :20:55. | :21:02.
with squad spirit and it was outstanding. | :21:03. | :21:04.
At Derby it's two wins in four games now for Steve McClaren and he had | :21:05. | :21:07.
a little bit of luck on Sattrday as his teams progress continued | :21:08. | :21:10.
Most of the ground saw the Rams captain Richard Keogh handld | :21:11. | :21:18.
the ball on the line, but the referee didn't - | :21:19. | :21:21.
Derby went on to score twice in a league game | :21:22. | :21:24.
Cyrus Christie hit the net for only the second time | :21:25. | :21:28.
And then a goal at the North End of the Ipro Stadium! | :21:29. | :21:32.
Fans have waited 1000 minutds this season to see one from Derbx. | :21:33. | :21:34.
And it came from defender Alex Pearce. | :21:35. | :21:38.
In League Two, Notts County are sixth after the weekend. | :21:39. | :21:40.
Meanwhile, Mansfield's manager is upset at getting personal | :21:41. | :21:42.
Notts County will feel a little unlucky. | :21:43. | :21:49.
A clearance off the line stopped them taking the lead. | :21:50. | :21:52.
But they got another chance in the final moments | :21:53. | :21:54.
Christian Walton's shot was saved to leave a goalless draw | :21:55. | :21:58.
against fellow promotion contenders Luton Town. | :21:59. | :21:59.
The Stags went down at home to Stevenage 2-1, | :22:00. | :22:01.
a result that led to abuse for the manager as he walked | :22:02. | :22:04.
to the changing rooms after the final whistle. | :22:05. | :22:09.
In rugby, it wasn't a great weekend for the Leicester Tigers | :22:10. | :22:11.
who were heavily beaten at Saracens. | :22:12. | :22:17.
And the same for the Nottingham Panthers, | :22:18. | :22:18.
Coach Corey Neilson says it was bitterly disappointing | :22:19. | :22:22.
Leicester's world number ond snooker player Mark Selby comfortably beat | :22:23. | :22:28.
home favourite Ding Jun-Wee 10- to win the International | :22:29. | :22:30.
As well as the trophy, the win is worth ?125,000. | :22:31. | :22:46.
Well done Mark Selby. It drhnks are clearly on him! | :22:47. | :22:52.
People across the region have been busy celebrating | :22:53. | :22:54.
Around 40,000 flocked to Belgrave Road in Leicestdr last | :22:55. | :22:57.
night where Diwali Day was larked with fireworks and traditional music | :22:58. | :23:00.
And as the festival continuds, a farm today held a special ceremony | :23:01. | :23:03.
in honour of its cows - which are considered | :23:04. | :23:06.
The animals at Ahimsa Farm in Leicester received | :23:07. | :23:12.
treats and were decorated with flowers and even paint, | :23:13. | :23:14.
A special ceremony in an after-hours. Much revered bx Hindus | :23:15. | :23:33.
and this heard here were honoured with chanting. Also with colour and | :23:34. | :23:40.
carrots! A special treat th`t proved slightly more popular than the | :23:41. | :23:49.
flowers. We are having a ceremony which glorifies the cow. In the | :23:50. | :23:55.
Hindu tradition, cows are vdry, very special and this is a chancd to | :23:56. | :24:00.
appreciate them. They eat grass and give us this wonderful food cold | :24:01. | :24:08.
milk. And today is a celebr`tion to bind our relationship with them | :24:09. | :24:15.
Diwali was Marx with tradithonal performances in Leicester. Thousands | :24:16. | :24:17.
turned out last night for the festivities, but to be the largest | :24:18. | :24:22.
outside India. While there was some criticism over the fireworks at | :24:23. | :24:26.
today's celebrations, there was nothing but praise. The kids enjoyed | :24:27. | :24:30.
it, we enjoyed it and you gdt quite involved with the cows and `ll | :24:31. | :24:37.
celebration. Balou Du Reventon my favourite part is painting them And | :24:38. | :24:41.
feeding them carrots. They just lick your hand! It's a memory th`t will | :24:42. | :24:49.
stay in my heart. This brings to an end a fortnight of festivithes as | :24:50. | :24:53.
Leicester celebrates Diwali in the style. | :24:54. | :25:03.
Check out our special Halloween Facebook forecast. We have had some | :25:04. | :25:24.
pretty strange weather of otr own food today. Eerie, dense fog this | :25:25. | :25:31.
morning which did clear and we got the return of autumnal sunshine It | :25:32. | :25:37.
has been a beautiful afternoon. But it didn't feel very autumnal, | :25:38. | :25:41.
because 17 degrees with the top temperature. The average ustally 12 | :25:42. | :25:45.
degrees at this time of year. But it is all change and it will bd cold in | :25:46. | :25:49.
the next few days. A cold front sinks southwards. Not too mtch rain, | :25:50. | :25:56.
just a few spots in the morning But it will choose much cooler `nd fresh | :25:57. | :26:01.
air. It will clear weather lurk and mist, so we will get sunshine in the | :26:02. | :26:04.
next few days, but you will notice the difference. We could get our | :26:05. | :26:09.
first proper frost this week as well. But before that, we still have | :26:10. | :26:15.
my old bear tonight, so we have a warning for dense fog. It whll form | :26:16. | :26:18.
quickly this evening and st`y through the night, so there's tricky | :26:19. | :26:23.
driving conditions. It is already misty and the fog will thicken. | :26:24. | :26:28.
Across southern areas perhaps by the end of the night. The last of our | :26:29. | :26:33.
mild nights, minimum temper`ture 9-10dC. A lot of fog first thing | :26:34. | :26:40.
tomorrow. The weather front sinks south and clears the fog, btt it is | :26:41. | :26:46.
quite cloudy and damp. Eventually, it will improve as the afternoon | :26:47. | :26:51.
goes on. The cloud should break across northern parts by thd end of | :26:52. | :26:56.
the afternoon and a bit of sunshine. Feeling much cooler. 10-11d. That | :26:57. | :27:01.
takes us into a cold night tomorrow, frost first thing on Wednesday. But | :27:02. | :27:06.
the return of some autumn stnshine at last. It is crisp, sunny, but | :27:07. | :27:08.
cold. | :27:09. | :27:16. |
