Hello and welcome to Look East. Coming up in the next 30 minutes: | :00:06. | :00:09.
Developments tonight in the hunt for Rachel Manning's killer. 11 | :00:09. | :00:12.
years after her death, detectives question a man arrested in Milton | :00:12. | :00:16.
Keynes. Low wages, high house prices and | :00:16. | :00:18.
tougher mortgage deals - why a generation of young people have | :00:18. | :00:28.
:00:28. | :00:34. | ||
been locked out of the housing market. My other half is full time | :00:34. | :00:36.
and I am part time and we cannot get one. | :00:36. | :00:40.
A reward of 3,000 on offer tonight to help catch those behind the A12 | :00:40. | :00:42.
concrete attacks. And making a splash- the | :00:42. | :00:50.
inspiration behind a generation of high divers. | :00:51. | :00:53.
Hello, detectives investigating the murder of Rachel Manning 11 years | :00:53. | :00:55.
ago are tonight questioning a suspect arrested at dawn this | :00:56. | :01:01.
morning. Thames Valley Police revealed the suspect had been | :01:01. | :01:04.
questioned previously about the killing and was on bail on | :01:04. | :01:10.
suspicion of murder. He is aged 40 and lives in Bletchley. Our Home | :01:10. | :01:12.
Affairs Correspondent has been following developments and is in | :01:12. | :01:21.
Milton Keynes now. Good evening. Details are very | :01:21. | :01:26.
scant. The police are saying little other than what you have mentioned. | :01:26. | :01:29.
The man is from the Bletchley area and was arrested at dawn this | :01:29. | :01:36.
morning. We think he is being held in custody here, but police are not | :01:36. | :01:40.
confirming that. Rachel Manning was murdered some 11 years ago. In that | :01:40. | :01:45.
time, it has placed her family in a terrible state of limbo as police | :01:45. | :01:52.
continued the search for her killer or killers. In a green wig and | :01:52. | :01:59.
fancy dress, Rachel Manning had been in a nightclub the day she | :01:59. | :02:03.
died in 2000. Her body was found two days later on Woburn golf | :02:03. | :02:07.
course. She had been choked and beaten to death. We had to see | :02:07. | :02:11.
those horrific injuries first hand when we identified her body in the | :02:11. | :02:16.
hospital mortuary. This was the most soul-destroying thing any | :02:16. | :02:21.
parent could go through and it's the last mental image we have of | :02:21. | :02:25.
our daughter, and it never fades. Rachel Manning's boyfriend, Barry | :02:26. | :02:32.
White, was jailed for life for murdering her and his friend was | :02:32. | :02:36.
sentenced for five years for perverting the course of justice. | :02:36. | :02:43.
Her case was taken up by the BBC. In 2008, both men won their appeal | :02:43. | :02:47.
against conviction. Justice was done today and hopefully they will | :02:47. | :02:53.
catch the real killer. In 2009, police announced they had reopened | :02:53. | :02:58.
the investigation. Three months ago detectives arrested two men from | :02:58. | :03:01.
Bletchley near Milton Keynes. Held on suspicion of murder they were | :03:01. | :03:06.
released on bail. Today's development has placed this case in | :03:06. | :03:14.
the spotlight. We know that in the Wii arrested man was taken into | :03:15. | :03:19.
custody six days before he was due to answer bail on 12th December. | :03:19. | :03:24.
The police will only add that he was taken into custody after a new | :03:24. | :03:29.
forensic evidence came to light. A fresh survey of the housing | :03:29. | :03:31.
market claims today that a generation of young people have | :03:31. | :03:36.
little hope of buying their own homes. In this region, the problem | :03:36. | :03:39.
lies with incomes failing to keep pace with house prices as well as | :03:39. | :03:48.
The average cost of a house in this region is now 237,000. Research by | :03:48. | :03:50.
the National Housing Federation shows around 71%of us here in the | :03:50. | :03:54.
East own our own home, but in 10 years' time, that's expected to | :03:54. | :04:01.
drop to 64%. Let's take a look at the most affordable places to | :04:01. | :04:04.
live... A house in Fenland in Cambridgeshire costs just over | :04:04. | :04:07.
seven times the average local salary. A property in Ipswich in | :04:07. | :04:11.
Suffolk, just over eight times. The same goes for Luton. But if you | :04:11. | :04:14.
want to live in Cambridge, well, a house there will cost 13 times the | :04:14. | :04:18.
average local salary. Topping the table is Uttlesford in Essex, | :04:18. | :04:23.
Warehouse will cost the 16 times the average salary. Our chief | :04:23. | :04:25.
reporter has been testing the market in Bury St Edmunds in | :04:25. | :04:35.
:04:35. | :04:37. | ||
Berry is eight historic and traditionally prosperous town but | :04:37. | :04:42.
to many, bearing a -- buying a home locally is an impossible dream. | :04:42. | :04:48.
the way the economy is, no way. The amount of money we get, no chance. | :04:48. | :04:53.
Sam, and admin assistant, what a home with her partner for years ago. | :04:53. | :04:59.
Her friend Polly and her husband, who runs a club, rent. When we | :04:59. | :05:03.
debate you didn't need a deposit, so we gave a very small amount so | :05:03. | :05:07.
we were able to buy. I do not think we would do it now. There is no way | :05:07. | :05:12.
be would be able to save up money that they ask for a, no way. It's | :05:12. | :05:18.
not very depressing but when my friend has got her home, I do get a | :05:18. | :05:23.
bit jealous of the fact that I have not got mine. I Fink it has got a | :05:23. | :05:28.
lot harder nowadays. -- I think. prospect in the next year or two of | :05:28. | :05:35.
doing that? Probably not in the next 10! This month set up a family | :05:35. | :05:40.
estate agency 45 years ago. He has a stern message. You have got to | :05:40. | :05:44.
pull in your horns. Forget about the mobile phone, the holiday, | :05:44. | :05:50.
every Friday night out. You have to save. There is no other way round | :05:50. | :05:54.
it. Call me old-fashioned but if you can't raise 10% out of the you | :05:54. | :06:03.
should be buying a house. Lettings and property management companies | :06:03. | :06:10.
say there is a good rental market. People are choosing to let and | :06:10. | :06:14.
deciding to come to the rental market. It represents a flexible | :06:14. | :06:19.
option for people. A lot of it is a round-robin to be free to move and | :06:19. | :06:25.
not be saddled with a mortgage. -- a lot of it is around wanting to be | :06:25. | :06:29.
free. Many still want to buy. The lucky ones might get a hand from | :06:29. | :06:34.
the Bank of mum and dad, for the rest, it is a struggle. | :06:34. | :06:36.
That housing survey came from the National Housing Federation. It's | :06:36. | :06:38.
an umbrella group for housing associations which | :06:38. | :06:41.
provides social housing. The federation's regional manager is | :06:41. | :06:51.
Clare Astbury and is in Bedford now. In many other countries, people | :06:51. | :06:58.
rent. Why is it so important to make it possible for people to own? | :06:58. | :07:01.
People do like the security of a house of their own. There is | :07:01. | :07:05.
nothing wrong with renting and for many people it is a good option. | :07:05. | :07:09.
The pressure at the moment means more people want to rent privately | :07:09. | :07:14.
and our estimates show this will perish the rent up by 21% in the | :07:14. | :07:19.
next five years. -- push. That will impact on people's quality of life | :07:19. | :07:23.
on their ability to save for a mortgage. There are clearly lots of | :07:23. | :07:27.
people out there who are desperate to own their own houses and are | :07:27. | :07:31.
saving for that. There is also a culture change. People are tending | :07:31. | :07:37.
to spend more money if they have got it and they do not save as much. | :07:37. | :07:41.
I think we also -- all see that income has not kept prize with | :07:42. | :07:49.
house prices are even rent. It is the cost of living going up were | :07:49. | :07:53.
just having a massive impact, which is why more affordable housing is | :07:53. | :07:59.
important. It helps to stimulate the economy to build new homes. It | :07:59. | :08:03.
creates jobs and also additional jobs in the supply chain. It gives | :08:03. | :08:08.
people more money in their pockets to stimulate the local economy. | :08:08. | :08:12.
response to this report the government has said it has launched | :08:12. | :08:17.
the first -- first by scheme and it is planning an indemnity scheme for | :08:17. | :08:24.
new-build only requiring a 5% deposit. What more can you do? | :08:24. | :08:30.
welcome the government's move. They recognise the scale of a housing | :08:30. | :08:34.
prices and the role of building in stimulating the economy. We say we | :08:34. | :08:37.
have a chronic on the supply of homes in this country and region | :08:37. | :08:42.
and what we want to see is more of the same, more bringing public land | :08:42. | :08:46.
forward, more investment, more opportunities for people to buy a | :08:46. | :08:51.
home, and really, just to support local communities who really want | :08:51. | :08:59.
to see you home -- homes built because they recognise the damage | :08:59. | :09:03.
to the community when housing is not available. Is their concern for | :09:03. | :09:06.
those who do own homes that the more the government does, the more | :09:07. | :09:13.
it could skew be housing market? see that a housing market is pretty | :09:13. | :09:18.
much broken. It does not really work for almost everybody involved. | :09:18. | :09:21.
It is not just a generation of young people who are locked out of | :09:21. | :09:26.
buying a home. A lot of people are trapped in unsuitable housing or of | :09:26. | :09:35.
trying to access housing. We recognise that we need to take | :09:35. | :09:41.
action for people young and old and in all kinds of housing. If you | :09:41. | :09:44.
feel locked out of the housing market, we'd like to hear from you. | :09:44. | :09:47.
If you're struggling to buy or rent, get in touch. You can phone, send | :09:48. | :09:51.
an e-mail or log on to our page on Facebook. We look forward to | :09:51. | :09:53.
hearing from you. Later, an emotional night in Milton | :09:53. | :09:56.
Keynes as the motor racing world pays tribute to IndyCar star, Dan | :09:56. | :09:58.
Wheldon. We meet another of the region's | :09:58. | :10:02.
unsung sporting heroes. And the artistic treasures of a | :10:02. | :10:12.
:10:12. | :10:13. | ||
stately home in Suffolk come under the auctioneer's hammer. | :10:13. | :10:16.
A reward of 3000 is being offered to catch those responsible for | :10:16. | :10:20.
dropping concrete blocks from bridges on to cars in Essex. Police | :10:20. | :10:30.
have stepped up patrols along the A12 to prevent it happening again. | :10:30. | :10:37.
There are 39 bridges over the A12 in Essex. The stretch between | :10:37. | :10:39.
Chelmsford and Brentwood is under close surveillance. We are keeping | :10:39. | :10:45.
an eye on all bridges. Police have put on extra patrols during the day | :10:46. | :10:51.
and at night. With over 3,000 police officers, this is one of the | :10:51. | :10:57.
highest priorities. We will send as many as we can to these areas at | :10:57. | :11:00.
particular times of day when we feared it is more likely that these | :11:00. | :11:05.
things may take place. Last Thursday, this rock was dropped on | :11:05. | :11:12.
to this car. The drivers escaped injury. Then, a concrete bollard | :11:12. | :11:17.
smashed through the windscreen of another car. It left a 57-year-old | :11:17. | :11:23.
woman with head and chest injuries. That happened on this bridge near | :11:23. | :11:28.
Chelmsford. There is a reward to help catch those responsible. | :11:28. | :11:32.
would urge anyone with information, no matter how insignificant they | :11:33. | :11:37.
might feel it might be, to go to police in the first instance or if | :11:37. | :11:40.
they feel uncomfortable going to the police, to contact | :11:40. | :11:45.
Crimestoppers for we can take information from them. This | :11:45. | :11:50.
afternoon, the Highways Agency were putting out signs appealing to | :11:50. | :11:54.
drivers for information. Some who use the road survey feel uneasy. | :11:54. | :12:00.
Definitely, if you feel uneasy. am a lorry driver. You feel | :12:00. | :12:04.
disgusted. There are a lot of idiots about at the moment. They | :12:04. | :12:08.
have got nothing else to do, have they? Apprehensive, but you can't | :12:08. | :12:13.
be put off using it. We are at work and we have to use it. | :12:13. | :12:17.
Crimestoppers said the attacks are mindless and the police said they | :12:17. | :12:21.
still need your help. They're asking anyone who sees any | :12:21. | :12:26.
suspicious behaviour on the bridges on the A12 to get in touch. They | :12:26. | :12:29.
are asking everyone to be vigilant. A police officer is under | :12:29. | :12:32.
investigation in Essex following allegations he drove on to a | :12:32. | :12:35.
pedestrian crossing while people were on it. No one was hurt in the | :12:35. | :12:38.
instant in Braintree. The officer has been suspended from driving | :12:38. | :12:40.
police vehicles. Ipswich Town Football Club is | :12:40. | :12:44.
continuing to stand by its manager, despite seven back-to-back defeats. | :12:44. | :12:47.
The club's chief executive, Simon Clegg, told shareholders at last | :12:47. | :12:50.
night's AGM that there was no panic and the club has improved under | :12:50. | :12:57.
Paul Jewell. The train company which is taking | :12:57. | :13:00.
over the Anglia line into Liverpool Street promised today it would make | :13:00. | :13:04.
improvements. Abellio is a Dutch company. It succeeds National | :13:04. | :13:07.
Express next year. The company's reassurances were made to MPs from | :13:07. | :13:16.
Norfolk at a briefing in Westminster. | :13:16. | :13:19.
MPs called her meeting with the new operator in the shadow of Big Ben, | :13:19. | :13:23.
over time is of the essence. Abellio has a 29 month franchise to | :13:23. | :13:27.
provide an improved and punctual service with enough seats for | :13:27. | :13:34.
passengers. It is a short franchise so it is more difficult to make | :13:34. | :13:43.
radical changes. National Express currently runs the Anglia franchise. | :13:43. | :13:46.
Just months before the London Olympic Games, the Dutch company | :13:46. | :13:52.
Abellio will take over. It promises better ticket facilities, texts to | :13:52. | :13:55.
passengers if there is disruption and improvement to stations, | :13:55. | :14:01.
normally the responsibility of Network Rail. The MPs came out of | :14:01. | :14:06.
today's meeting encouraged by what they had heard. These are of real | :14:06. | :14:11.
professionals and their gave every -- they give every impression of | :14:11. | :14:15.
being committed. And I am assured that they will meet the criteria | :14:15. | :14:23.
that has been laid out in what they have to achieve. The purpose of | :14:23. | :14:28.
today is starting an ongoing relationship. This is not just | :14:28. | :14:31.
about community travelled to London but the Cambridge to Norwich | :14:31. | :14:36.
railway line to encourage investment and collaboration. | :14:36. | :14:39.
thought if Abellio can significantly improve the services | :14:39. | :14:45.
it will run across the region, it could win the 15 year franchise in | :14:45. | :14:50.
2014. There's going to be further | :14:50. | :14:53.
coverage of the plan for Anglia rail services on Look East later in | :14:53. | :14:57.
the week. The future of the line is also covered in this weekend's | :14:57. | :15:07.
:15:07. | :15:11. | ||
edition of the Politics Show on Sunday at midday on BBC One. | :15:11. | :15:13.
The government today claimed the future of the region's egg industry | :15:14. | :15:17.
is now secure. It has persuaded supermarkets and food producers to | :15:18. | :15:21.
stop selling eggs from countries which still use battery cages. | :15:21. | :15:24.
Farmers have spent millions of pounds doing away with the cages, | :15:24. | :15:31.
but they're still being used in many parts of Europe. | :15:31. | :15:36.
This is an important decision for local farmers in a region where egg | :15:36. | :15:41.
production makes up a 5th of all agriculture. A European Union ban | :15:42. | :15:45.
on the use of battery cages like these comes into force at the | :15:45. | :15:49.
beginning of the new year. With farmers in 13 countries still using | :15:49. | :15:53.
them, the fear was that British farmers would not be able to | :15:53. | :15:58.
compete fairly. The EU has refused to ban eggs from non-compliant | :15:58. | :16:02.
countries so instead, the government has persuaded the main | :16:02. | :16:05.
supermarkets and food producers in Britain to agree to stop using eggs | :16:05. | :16:10.
from battery hens. I think I have snuffed out the real risk of unfair | :16:11. | :16:15.
competition, which is what I was trying to do. We will try to press | :16:15. | :16:18.
the Commission to work at European level to make sure that those | :16:18. | :16:23.
countries are not -- that are not confined become so very quickly. | :16:23. | :16:27.
The British egg industry council points out the of women with the | :16:27. | :16:31.
supermarkets is only a voluntary one and that farmers wanted an | :16:31. | :16:39.
official ban on illegal eggs and will feel let down by the decision. | :16:39. | :16:44.
The minister feels he has done the best he can. | :16:44. | :16:47.
You're watching Look East from the BBC. Coming up: Everyone's a winner, | :16:47. | :16:55.
thanks to their unsung hero... The best of British motorsport | :16:56. | :16:59.
gathered in Milton Keynes last night to celebrate the life of Dan | :16:59. | :17:03.
Wheldon. The IndyCar champion died in a crash in America in October. | :17:03. | :17:06.
Fans and fellow drivers came together for a karting event at | :17:06. | :17:12.
Daytona Motorsport. It raised 20,000 for the Alzheimer's Society. | :17:12. | :17:15.
The guest drivers included Dan Wheldon's friend, Jenson Button. | :17:15. | :17:24.
Jonathan Park was there. The guest list was impressive but | :17:24. | :17:28.
so was the man they had come to pay respect to. So many friends, so | :17:28. | :17:38.
many rivals, so many stories. first race, than was there. -- he | :17:38. | :17:44.
was there. I love racing with Dan Wheldon. When he woke up in the | :17:44. | :17:48.
morning he was the guy you had to beat and if you had the opportunity | :17:48. | :17:53.
to do that, it was a triumph. Wheldon was a champion up to his | :17:53. | :17:59.
death, tragically during an IndyCar race in October. He never lost his | :17:59. | :18:07.
love of karting. I cannot thank everyone enough. We are going to | :18:07. | :18:13.
give a fantastic sent off and have a great time. The rules were simple, | :18:13. | :18:18.
a two our endurance race where everyone had a professional driver. | :18:18. | :18:25.
The team was made up of the family. I never realised how popular he was. | :18:25. | :18:28.
The memorial service in America, there were 10,000 people. As each | :18:28. | :18:32.
day goes by, I'd get a little easier but it must be difficult for | :18:32. | :18:38.
you to have lost him at such a young age? He was my Iraq. He was | :18:38. | :18:44.
my son, my friend, I will miss him for the rest of my life. This event | :18:44. | :18:50.
might not just be a one off. Dan Wheldon's family have said that | :18:50. | :18:54.
this could become an annual event in celebration of Dan Wheldon's | :18:54. | :19:03.
life on the track. Last word goes to a man who left the region for or | :19:03. | :19:11.
in the cars in America. -- for the Indy Car circuit in America. There | :19:11. | :19:17.
was very fitting. It was three degrees and we are all freezing and | :19:17. | :19:23.
he would find it amusing. Jenson Button's team have made their way | :19:23. | :19:29.
to the top step. A reminder that the BBC East Sports | :19:29. | :19:33.
Awards are being held this week. One award is for the region's | :19:33. | :19:36.
unsung sporting hero. Last night, we were introduced to girls' | :19:36. | :19:39.
football coach, Dawn Barnard. Tonight's contender is Derek | :19:39. | :19:42.
Beaumont from Letchworth in Hertfordshire. For years now, he | :19:42. | :19:45.
has been inspiring young swimmers to take to the high diving board, | :19:45. | :19:49.
with some impressive results. Remember, success on Thursday night | :19:49. | :19:52.
earns the winner a place at the BBC's Sports Personality of the | :19:53. | :20:02.
:20:03. | :20:08. | ||
Year awards. For 40 years, Derek Beaumont has | :20:08. | :20:12.
told some of the best drivers in the country. Some have had a few | :20:12. | :20:19.
months, others are a couple of years, most to a county champions. | :20:19. | :20:23.
Some are region champions and some have want national medals. A former | :20:24. | :20:27.
champion diver, he turned to coaching and launched his Academy | :20:27. | :20:32.
in 1968. From coaching drivers at six Olympic Games and lecturing | :20:32. | :20:37.
today's current crop, he puts in 30 are as a week. He has got more | :20:37. | :20:46.
experience because he is older, but not that old! He is well known | :20:46. | :20:50.
throughout the country and Europe. He has produced more divers at the | :20:50. | :20:56.
Olympics than any other club in Europe. But he does not just Koczi, | :20:56. | :21:01.
he helps fund it. He supports his protege's in everything from | :21:02. | :21:07.
transport costs to competition entry fees. His enthusiasm has | :21:07. | :21:11.
ensured facilities like this one remain available. The day such a | :21:11. | :21:16.
challenge and once you start doing it, get into the blood. It is such | :21:16. | :21:23.
a challenge. It is very rewarding because the challenges and | :21:23. | :21:27.
difficulties that you face can help you in other activities later on in | :21:27. | :21:31.
life. I have been diving with Derek for 15 years and I wouldn't go to | :21:31. | :21:36.
anyone else. I trust him, I trust his judgment. He is an amazing man. | :21:36. | :21:42.
He is my hero. What would it mean if you were recognised as the | :21:42. | :21:49.
unsung hero? I find it really strange. Obviously, I have devoted | :21:49. | :21:53.
my life to the sport. When the diver walks out at the end of the | :21:53. | :21:59.
session and says thank you, it lifts me, it always does. | :21:59. | :22:09.
:22:09. | :22:11. | ||
Tomorrow's nominees is an athletics coach from Milton Keynes. | :22:11. | :22:16.
I am so impressed anyone can dive from up there! I tried to show off | :22:16. | :22:21.
when I was little but I couldn't. I love that award. We get to meet | :22:21. | :22:28.
some amazing people every year. I love the way he went, good! As | :22:28. | :22:31.
they went past. Art treasures from a stately home | :22:31. | :22:33.
in Suffolk went on sale today, giving collectors a rare | :22:33. | :22:36.
opportunity to buy works from what's known as the Suffolk school | :22:36. | :22:39.
of painting. The lots come from Reydon Hall near Southwold. The | :22:39. | :22:42.
stars of the sale included works by Edward and Thomas Smythe. Alex has | :22:42. | :22:52.
:22:52. | :22:53. | ||
been to see them. How did it go? was lucky enough to see the | :22:53. | :22:57.
paintings. They raised almost half a million pounds, just over half a | :22:57. | :23:03.
million. The photographs of the paintings are rather special, as | :23:03. | :23:13.
:23:13. | :23:16. | ||
If you find a scene like this on your Christmas card this year, it | :23:16. | :23:21.
may be the work of Thomas Smythe. This is one of many paintings sold | :23:21. | :23:27.
at auction in London today. The family made their fortune from | :23:27. | :23:32.
turkey farming and bought Reydon Hall in 1960, filling it with works | :23:32. | :23:37.
of art including many paintings by Thomas and Edward's mind. This is | :23:37. | :23:46.
the Suffolk Cont. This is John Johnston on his stamina. He was the | :23:46. | :23:52.
master of this than that -- hunt. The Suffolk school artist painted | :23:52. | :23:57.
in the stern of Gainsborough. were painting what their patrons | :23:57. | :24:02.
required, which was not wards and all depictions of the harsh reality | :24:02. | :24:10.
of life on the land. This looks lovely. He painted this? This is a | :24:10. | :24:16.
typical Thomas Smythe soon. This is the kind of subject reproduced on | :24:16. | :24:23.
those Christmas cards in the 1970s and 1980s. It is good the way it | :24:23. | :24:31.
has been displayed. We always what it would be inevitable that once my | :24:31. | :24:35.
mother and father were no longer worth a house would be sold. Have | :24:35. | :24:41.
you kept any of this might paintings? Yes, some of us -- the | :24:41. | :24:48.
smaller and more desirable ones. is rare for us to have this many | :24:48. | :24:52.
paintings by the same artist in one collection. It is important | :24:52. | :24:56.
historically because of what it depicts and also because it tells | :24:56. | :25:06.
:25:06. | :25:06. | ||
us a great deal about the artists It was spectacular to see so many | :25:07. | :25:13.
of those paintings in one place. The one with the snowballs when for | :25:13. | :25:21.
12,000. The ceramic Turkey sold for a 2,500. It has been pretty | :25:21. | :25:26.
cold today. There is an area of low pressure to the north-west of the | :25:26. | :25:32.
UK bringing down cold air from Green man. Hence the brisk and cold | :25:32. | :25:40.
wind. The weather front of Crosas are producing patchy rain. -- the | :25:40. | :25:50.
weather fronts at Crosas. Tonight, expect light and patchy rain. The | :25:50. | :25:58.
wind speed will pick up during the course of the night. The rain | :25:58. | :26:03.
clears in the second half of the night. The brisk wind will stop | :26:03. | :26:10.
temperatures falling too low but it will get to about two Celsius. | :26:10. | :26:14.
Tomorrow brings us a pretty windy day but it should stay dry for most | :26:15. | :26:19.
locations with sunny spells. The north-west corner of the region | :26:20. | :26:25.
might see the odd isolated Scharner. For most places, a great deal of | :26:25. | :26:31.
sunshine. It will not be as cold as it was today. Tomorrow, expect | :26:32. | :26:37.
temperatures to climb between 5 and seven Celsius. It will be extremely | :26:37. | :26:44.
windy. We have a westerly wind. There could be gusts of 50 mph in | :26:44. | :26:49.
some locations. It stays dry mostly through the afternoon were clearing | :26:49. | :26:57.

the bulk of the day should be dry and milder with temperatures into | :27:01. | :27:05.
double figures we are expecting light and patchy rain at times, | :27:05. | :27:09.
