has been held at the gates of a detention centre in Bedfordshire to

mark the death of a detained. There have been calls for a full hnquiry

into how Christine Case died at the Yarl's Wood immigration centre a

week ago. A reason tied to the gates, next to a photo of Christine

Case. We are gathered here to pay our respects to Christine who died

last Sunday. We are here because the DT needs are holding a memorial

service inside the centre. @mong those at the Memorial, a former

trainee called Stefanie. I was detained in this place. This place

is not good. Christine Case was given a full medical assesslent when

she arrived. She had been there ten days when she became ill. In a

statement, the director said there is 24`hour seven day urgent medical

care. Another former DT kned. It is really appalling. I am talkhng from

first hand experience. If you tell them you are ill they do not believe

you. The issue has been raised in Parliament. I have been alarmed at

the number of times I have heard that they cannot access health care.

It is particularly alarming when you consider the number of people who

have serious health problems. Christine 's death will be

investigated by the ombudsm`n. A man's in a stable condition in

hospital after apparently bding set on fire in a nightclub. It happened

early this morning in a bar on the Britannia Pier in Great Yarlouth.

Police say a group of men from Sheffield were involved in ` fight

in the Long John Bar. One of them was engulfed in flames and suffered

serious burns to his hands `nd body. Four of the men are being qtestioned

as police try to work out exactly what happened. A pub manager's been

attacked and robbed in Essex. The man was cashing up at the Rose and

Crown in Great Horkesley early today when two men burst in. They beat him

up and forced him to hand over the keys to the safe. They got `way with

over ?1,000. A one`day exhibition has bedn staged

in Milton Keynes of artworks by a woman who's been given just months

to live. Pepi Sani had alwaxs planned to exhibit her work once she

retired. But when she was dhagnosed with terminal cancer her frhends

decided to stage the show. Last December and till now I painted

nearly every day. I got up darly because I could not sleep and so I

painted. Before I die I want to show my work.

Onto football and worrying times for fans of Norwich City. They lost

again yesterday and they're not the only one of our clubs with

relegation worries. Shaun Pdel looks back at the weekend's action.

Norwich city fans had clappdrs to encourage their site. After Morgan

Amalfitano scored early Norwich had possession but could not score. The

managers said it was a step backwards and acknowledged they have

pushing them all the way with a 10`1 win at Coventry `` 2`1. It will be

an anxious April four Colchdster who lost at home to Tranmere. Bottom

side Stevenage are four points adrift after defeat at Shrewsbury.

Sheffield United one at Cheltenham. Northampton are still fighthng the

drop and this goal in the fourth minute and give them a vital win at

spreading from the West. It will be a wet and grey start on Monday,
