Hello. I'm Jenny Kirk. A major police operation's tnderway

in Suffolk after a store of weapons were discovered at an isolated

cottage. Police have sealed the area off and are carrying out extensive

searches of the property and surrounding land.

Halfway up a no through road in the middle of Suffolk, the ongohng

police investigation. It was only last night that the first ddtails of

the operation were made public. But it has been centred on this end of a

cottage since last Sunday. Ht was a week ago that police arrived here

after reports a woman had bden assaulted. During a search of the

property, police found a nulber of weapons. Officers have been here

ever since and they say the search will continue in the coming days.

People living nearby say thd operation going on in Potash Lane

has been a major one from the start. There were helicopters in the air. A

huge amount of police everywhere. They turned up, blocked all the

roads and then we had bomb disposal turn up. They blocked the roads

again and there was a robot on the road. The police are not telling us

nothing. In a statement, Suffolk police said a 49`year`old m`n who

lives in Potash Lane is fachng assault on firearms charges. He will

appear in court tomorrow ch`rged with four counts of possesshng

prohibited weapons. They sax the area will remain sealed off as the

search is continued. A man's been charged with mtrder

after a double stabbing in Dssex. The man who died, Michael H`astrup

from Southend, was one of two men who were attacked in Braintree. The

scene in Cressing Road has been sealed off for much of the weekend.

24`year`old Luke Eva from Ldigh on Sea is due in court tomorrow.

A church in the Fens which was all but destroyed in an arson attack is

about to celebrate Easter for the first time in five years. St Mary's

in Westry, near March, has been rebuilt and reconsecrated.

It has cost ?2.25 million and taken four years but at last, the

19th`century St Mary's Church is restored and in many ways ilproved.

Much of the building is as ht was before. All of the roof and much of

the stonework has been repl`ced but also we have had modern things like

air`sourced underfloor heathng and a building that has been made so that

it is good for community usd. Very much looking to the future. In March

2010, the grade two listed building was reduced to a shell by

arsonists. Only the outer w`lls survived. Even then, much of the

stonework has had to be replaced along with the entire roof. Just one

of the original roof trusses survived, from which copies were

made. It just shows that highly skilled craftsmen and women are

still about with us, whether it is designing or making things. It is

absolutely magnificent. Among the improvements, a state`of`thd`art

security system ensuring thd future safety of the church.

Onto football and Norwich are teetering on the brink of the

relegation zone after going down to Liverpool this afternoon. Btt they

gave the Premiership leaders a run for their money.

Carrow Road. It did not takd long for Liverpool to show their class.

if we do that, we are still very confident we can get enough points

Good evening. We've still got some rain spreading up from the North so

still some wet weather to come through this evening but through the

course of the night, it will turn dry. Quite a lot of cloud around and

it will be a milder night. Bank Holiday Monday, a much bettdr day of

weather for many of us. Despite the cloudy start for many areas, we will

start to see some sunshine develop. The winds are a lot lighter and by

the afternoon it will be all the way up to 17 or 18 degrees. Perhaps

watch out for a few showers towards coastal areas. Wind is still coming

in off the sea but not quitd as cold as it has been. For the rest of the

week, April showers. Thundery downpours at times and spells of
