Good evening. Hundreds of people have gathered in Lincoln to remember

a teenager killed in a car crash last week. Friends and family of

Matty Ellis met outside the city's cathedral this lunchtime. The

16`year`old died after a collision on the A11`04 near Alford on Friday.

Hundreds of teenagers gathered outside Lincoln Cathedral, many

clutching balloons, all here to remember their friend Matty Ellis.

He was amazing. He was one of the best football players I knew. He was

a truly genuine guy. He would talk to anybody, he was so easy to get to

know as a person. He was the nicest person you could ever meet. The

16`year`old died when two cars and a van collided here on the A11`04 near

Alford. A 70`year`old woman was also killed in the crash on Good Friday

and six people seriously injured. The investigation is alive

investigation, complex... Many lines of enquiry that we are actively

pursuing. I'm particularly keen to speak to anybody who witnessed the

collision itself. Back in Lincoln this lunchtime balloons filled the

sky, some with messages for Matty, then silence and hugs as friends and

family said their goodbyes. Two men have been arrested after a man was

found dead at his home in Lincoln. Police were called to a house in

Hermit Street late last night where they found the body of a 25`year`old

man. The death is being dealt with as unexplained and the house is

being searched A man from Lincolnshire has died after a bus

fell into a ravine in Malaysia. 32`year`old Harry Woolhouse from

Market Deeping was one of a number of tourists on the double`decker

which was taking them from Redang Island to Singapore. The driver says

he lost control of the vehicle in heavy rain near Felda Chini.

Hoteliers and guest house owners say they've seen a rise in the number of

people booking to stay in the region compared to the same time last year.

Tourism is worth more than ?500 million pounds to the east coast

economy. In Skegness, hotel owners hoping for a busy summer season.

They say that up on last year. The season so far

has been very good. I feel it is down partly to the weather, it was

like Siberia last year. And I feel economic factor is starting to

filter to through to Skegness. Hopefully we will have a good season

right down the coast this year. Others who need tourists for their

business, agree. This is our second season, so last year was our first

and it wasn't very good to start with. Since then though, it has been

great. And if you remains positive and that the good

business carries on in the coming months.

City beat Wrexham by the same score. Danny Rowe scored for them just

after half an hour. In Rugby League, it was a good day for Hull FC at the

KC Stadium. They beat London Broncos 40 points to four. City rivals Hull

Kingston Rovers are in France tonight taking on the Catalan

Dragons. The result is now 26 to 24 to the Catalans. Time for a look at

the weather now, with Paul Hudson. Most of us had lovely Bank Holiday

but things are now going downhill. We have patchy outbreaks of rain

already across some parts of our region and we look set to have a

cloudy night with further showery outbreaks of rain, a little misty

over the tops of the Wolds with temperatures at eight or nine

degrees. Tuesday morning, a cloudy and wet one for many, with some of

the rain quite heavy, but it will move away northwards through the

morning. The afternoon should see an improvement towards drier, brighter

conditions, but there will always be the risk of one or two showers.

Temperatures not too bad, up to 14 Celsius in Lincoln, that is 57

Fahrenheit. Wednesday looking OK, with a dry bright morning, just the

risk of a little patchy light rain later in the day.That's all from me
