Hello, good evening. Police who've been searching for a missing

university student in Durham City, say they've found the body of a

young man in the River Wear. The discovery, this morning, comes a

week after 19` year`old Luke Pearce disappeared on a night out. Julie

Smith reports. For the last week, police teams have been progressing

their search along the River Wear in Durham. This major operation an

evident to try to find missing engineering student, Luke Pearce. He

was last seen walking along the bank of the River Wear early last Sunday

morning. He'd left his friends on a night out after visiting the Jimmy

Allen's Nightclub, by the river. Police describe his disapeern as

"high risk." On Friday night, police and friends of missing student Luke

Pearce carried out what they called a "final planned search" along the

River Wear and then shortly before 8. 45am this morning, members of

Durham amateur rowing club phoned police to report a body in the river

by the bridge. The body has not yet been formally

identified but Luke's family have been contacted. Police say at this

stage there are no suspicious circumstances and a postmortem is

under way. A man's died following a crash in

Harrogate. It happened just after 4.00pm yesterday afternoon as the

this offence. The second half started with the Tynesiders under

the 51st minute Cambridge 1 0 up. `` 1`0 up. Then 69 minutes this yellow

card offence by Gateshead skipper Ben Clarke afforded Cambridge a free

kick and Cambridge were 2 0 up. Gateshead hearts were breaking but

with just over ten minutes left to play, a Jack Leicester goal brought

hope back to Tyneside. From then on, it was tired legs working hard to

find another goal for Gateshead and with Cambridge losing their skipper

and down to ten men, injury time seemed like a desperate eternity. It

could have been a dream come true for Gateshead but tonight, the

journey back north will seem very long indeed.

opening day of an exhibition ` expected to smash visitor records `

which opened this weekend at the Centre for Life in Newcastle. It's

the first time Body Worlds has been seen in the UK. It features real

human corpses. All the bodies were donated to the exhibition's creator,

the German scientist, Dr Gunther von Hagens. It's been lovely to see

everyone studying the intricate detail you can see. Really

appreciated it. They actually or were once actual people. That for me

adds a whole interesting dimension. It is fascinating to see internally

into the body. As a nurse I didn't get to see all of this during my

nurse training. Its fascinating. Really quite impressed.

The only full`sized replica in the world of a Bible created more than

1,000 years ago has gone on show to visitors in South Tyneside this

weekend. The Codex Amiatinus was one of three single volume Bibles made

by monks at Wearmouth Jarrow monastery. It left South Tyneside as

a gift for the Pope in the 8th century. The replica will be on show

at Bede's World in Jarrow until September. The weather ` a little

Wednesday, things start to become more unsettled. We will see some

showers or longer spells of rain on Tuesday. It is going to be feeling

cooler along the Co as we pick up an easterly breeze with temperatures
