A man's died after a crash between a motorbike and a v`n

It happened yesterday afternoon on the B6309 near Stocksfield.

The rider of the motorbike, a 31`year`old man,

The driver and passenger of the van were uninjured.

And the police say the teen`ge boy, who died after his bicycle was

involved in a crash with a van in West Cumbria at the weekdnd,

The 15`year`old had been taking a holiday in Wasdale with hhs father

when the accident happened near Gosforth.

An investigation's underway after a fire

at a caravan park near Gateshead.

Firefighters were called to the Bewick Caravan Park

where four caravans and an office block had been set alight.

There was substantial damagd but no one was injured.

The police believe it was started deliberately

and are treating the blaze as arson.

Police in Redcar say it's only a matter of time

here in the past. We had people from Birmingham, Manchester, everywhere.

This year the city council cut their funding of ?25,000.

I am glad that local people, local business people, and the frde men of

have stayed dry. Most of us will stay dry tomorrow as well. The

clouds will be broken so we should see bright sunny spells, but winds
