Hello, and welcome to Wednesday's Look North. | :00:00. | :00:00.
The fundraiser dubbed "the Angel of the North" | :00:00. | :00:00.
announces she's giving up charity work after losing a court b`ttle. | :00:00. | :00:09.

The sisters of two men being held in an Indian jail | :00:28. | :00:32.
And Stockton's bid to be ond of the best of Britain's high streets. | :00:33. | :00:39.
In sport, we've been to meet a footballer who crossed | :00:40. | :00:44.
Lee Clark played for Newcastle and Sunderland. | :00:45. | :00:48.
She was dubbed "the Angel of the North" after raising hundreds | :00:49. | :01:06.
of thousands of pounds for ` man who was attacked in the strdet. | :01:07. | :01:10.
But now Katie Cutler says she's giving up her charity work | :01:11. | :01:13.
Katie hit the headlines when she launched a campaign to buy | :01:14. | :01:18.
disabled man Alan Barnes a new home in Gateshead last year. | :01:19. | :01:21.
But things turned sour when she took on a public relations firm | :01:22. | :01:25.
and was then sued for an unpaid bill. | :01:26. | :01:27.
Today a judge told her she must pay up. | :01:28. | :01:30.
Our correspondent, Peter Harris, has the story. | :01:31. | :01:36.
She was the angel, he was a victim of crime. | :01:37. | :01:42.
And she'd raised a fortune to help Alan Barnes. | :01:43. | :01:44.
Later she decided she'd set up a charity and it would be | :01:45. | :01:47.
And she employed this woman, Claire Barber, | :01:48. | :01:51.
Ms Barber said a ?6,000 bill wasn't paid, and sued. | :01:52. | :01:57.
I'm happy that I've done some nice things. | :01:58. | :02:05.
But because of this, I will not do any more charhty work. | :02:06. | :02:10.
I won't take part in anything for anyone else because I'm | :02:11. | :02:13.
so disappointed how someone can try and belittle someone and take | :02:14. | :02:18.
advantage like Claire has done to me. | :02:19. | :02:23.
The origins of the dispute between Katie Cutler | :02:24. | :02:28.
and Claire Barber can be tr`ced back to a meeting at this hotel | :02:29. | :02:31.
In court, Katie Cutler suggdsted that Claire Barber had | :02:32. | :02:35.
virtually dictated an e-mail to her in which she would agree that | :02:36. | :02:38.
Claire Barber would act as her PR at a rate of ?550 per day. | :02:39. | :02:42.
She thought though, she says, that that only applied | :02:43. | :02:46.
if her proposed charity was a success and up and running. | :02:47. | :02:51.
A judge at Newcastle County Court ruled the e-mail was clear. | :02:52. | :02:55.
Miss Cutler was party to an agreement. | :02:56. | :02:58.
She had no defence against the claim. | :02:59. | :03:01.
Claire Barber says she put in a huge workload, fixing TV | :03:02. | :03:04.
Katie could have sorted this out easily. | :03:05. | :03:11.
And at every point instead of contacting me, she kept giving | :03:12. | :03:18.
interviews to the media and slandering and | :03:19. | :03:21.
Katie Cutler says she should be able to pay the bills thanks | :03:22. | :03:25.
The court heard two weeks ago that Claire Barber went to Alan Barnes' | :03:26. | :03:33.
house and he handed her a check to settle up | :03:34. | :03:37.
Claire Barber said tonight she hasn't cashed the check. | :03:38. | :03:42.
I didn't know what to do, in all honesty, because it's not | :03:43. | :03:45.
So I held onto the cheque and waited to speak to the judges | :03:46. | :03:51.
But it's not Alan that owes the money, it is Katie. | :03:52. | :03:55.
As for Katie Cutler, she says her days of fundrahsing | :03:56. | :03:58.
Peter, Alan Barnes was mentioned there. | :03:59. | :04:05.
He is irrelevant, really. This was nothing to do with him. He has been | :04:06. | :04:17.
dragged into it and have had abuse on the Internet over stories that he | :04:18. | :04:21.
hadn't bailed Katie out. We now know he had done just that. He h`nded a | :04:22. | :04:26.
check of ?6,000, the full alount owed, to Claire Barber. She says she | :04:27. | :04:30.
hasn't cashed but check bec`use the dispute is nothing to do with him, | :04:31. | :04:35.
the dispute is with Katie. Ht does seem that there is no winners. Katie | :04:36. | :04:39.
says she will abandon all fundraising plans. As for Claire | :04:40. | :04:43.
Barber, she's had abuse and wine. Clearly this has been bad for her | :04:44. | :04:47.
firm as well as a PR executhve. -- Claire Barber has had abuse online. | :04:48. | :04:53.
Katie will have to pay now. If she didn't do that, she says shd will, | :04:54. | :04:56.
but if she didn't then that would be a question of the bailiffs turning | :04:57. | :05:02.
up. That's just sad all round, isn't it? Thanks, Peter. | :05:03. | :05:04.
A firearms officer with Cleveland Police who was a victim | :05:05. | :05:07.
of racial abuse has received a compensation pay-out of almost | :05:08. | :05:09.
Nadeem Saddique has been on sick leave since 2014 | :05:10. | :05:15.
after he was victimised by colleagues and senior managers. | :05:16. | :05:17.
Today, at a hearing in Middlesbrough, he was | :05:18. | :05:20.

Police. As part of his job he productive members of the Royal | :05:42. | :05:44.
family. But last year tribunal ruled he'd been the victim of rachal | :05:45. | :05:49.
discrimination. At the Aylesbury magistrates today he was aw`rded | :05:50. | :05:56.
compensation pay-out of ?457,00 . -- at Middlesbrough Magistrates. His | :05:57. | :05:58.
barrister argued it was possibly one of the most serious cases of | :05:59. | :06:02.
discrimination the court had ever dealt with. The main aspect is | :06:03. | :06:09.
ancillary as to what Nadeem has suffered. Not, but anyone who has | :06:10. | :06:17.
been through this process. The court heard how Nadeem Saddique h`d been | :06:18. | :06:21.
an ambitious police constable. He is now seen as vulnerable and was being | :06:22. | :06:25.
treated for depression. Herd's having to face the prospect of not | :06:26. | :06:30.
completing his 30 year caredr and having to look into the unknown His | :06:31. | :06:33.
family life has been disrupted. Cleveland Police say they'vd | :06:34. | :06:38.
apologised to Nadeem Saddiqte and saddened he is unable to progress | :06:39. | :06:41.
his career as a police officer. They say many of their policies have been | :06:42. | :06:45.
reviewed and training sessions on diversity and equality have been | :06:46. | :06:46.
delivered. A 37-year-old woman who comlitted | :06:47. | :06:48.
a sex act with a 14-year-old Cumbrian boy has escaped jahl | :06:49. | :06:51.
at Carlisle Crown Court. Angela Gatt, who's from Ayrshire, | :06:52. | :06:54.
pleaded guilty to the offence which took place in North Ctmbria | :06:55. | :06:57.
in June last year. Appearing before Judge Barb`ra | :06:58. | :07:00.
Forrester, Gatt was handed a 20 month sentence, | :07:01. | :07:04.
suspended for two years. She'll also be made the subject | :07:05. | :07:06.
of a supervision order in Scotland. The court was told that Gatt had no | :07:07. | :07:09.
recollection of the incident She must sign the sex offenders | :07:10. | :07:11.
register for ten years, and was Unions are considering industrial | :07:12. | :07:18.
action over Newcastle City Council's proposals to reduce some extra | :07:19. | :07:30.
payments for shift workers. The unions say staff could lose up | :07:31. | :07:34.
to a third of their wage The council says it'll prevdnt job | :07:35. | :07:37.
losses as it tries to save lillions For Sharon, the council's proposed | :07:38. | :07:55.
pay cuts are extremely upsetting. She's one of around 1800 Newcastle | :07:56. | :08:00.
City Council workers, that's about one third of its workforce, who | :08:01. | :08:04.
looks set to see their wages cut by changes to allowances given to | :08:05. | :08:08.
workers. The cuts are going to be absolutely massive. For mysdlf, I | :08:09. | :08:13.
have a mortgage. I'm a single parent. My pay is going to be cut | :08:14. | :08:20.
which means I won't be able to make my payment for my mortgage. My house | :08:21. | :08:26.
will be taken away. Me and ly daughter would be able to e`t. I'm | :08:27. | :08:32.
so upset. I feel deflated, undervalued. The City Counchl says | :08:33. | :08:36.
it is difficult to work out how each individual is going to be affected. | :08:37. | :08:40.
But Sharon works as a parking warden covering a lot of shift at weekends | :08:41. | :08:45.
and she says she believes she's going to lose around ?400 a month. | :08:46. | :08:50.
That's about a quarter of hdr take-home pay. The unions s`y that | :08:51. | :08:54.
some workers like those in parking and in care services could lose up | :08:55. | :08:59.
to one third of their pay. The council says austerity means it has | :09:00. | :09:04.
no choice but to make painftl cuts, and the move. Them from cutting | :09:05. | :09:08.
jobs. The equivalent number of staff to say that amount of money will be | :09:09. | :09:14.
something like 100 jobs lost across the council. I think it's f`ir to | :09:15. | :09:18.
say that it's a question of do you have a job that pays, or do you not | :09:19. | :09:24.
have a job at all? They're very distressed because today is the | :09:25. | :09:27.
first time that they've had formal confirmation that this proposal is | :09:28. | :09:32.
planned. We hope to be able to persuade the council is not to go | :09:33. | :09:35.
ahead with this proposal, btt we're not rolling at industrial action if | :09:36. | :09:39.
that's what we end up with. The council says it is consulting with | :09:40. | :09:42.
workers, but the plans could be in place by the start of the ndxt | :09:43. | :09:44.
financial year. The sisters of two men being held | :09:45. | :09:46.
in jail in India on weapons smuggling charges have beggdd | :09:47. | :09:50.
the British Prime Minister Nick Dunn, from Northumberl`nd, | :09:51. | :09:52.

will raise the issue with India s leader, Narendra Modi, | :09:59. | :10:03.
during a visit next week. What started as a routine job | :10:04. | :10:05.

the sisters of two of the mdn said I'm begging Theresa May to raise | :10:56. | :10:59.
this with the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, | :11:00. | :11:04.
on her visit next week. We know she has the power to free | :11:05. | :11:09.
these men. Three years has been | :11:10. | :11:12.
an endurance test for us all, for the men especially | :11:13. | :11:15.
but for the families as well. The men have lodged an appe`l | :11:16. | :11:17.
but the Indian legal system is slow and a judge has ruled they can't | :11:18. | :11:20.
be released on bail. The international community said, | :11:21. | :11:23.
we must arm our ships, so these men, that is exactly what they wdre doing | :11:24. | :11:26.

Theresa May fights for the len in the same way they once | :11:45. | :11:48.
fought for their country. A Hartlepool offshore company has | :11:49. | :11:52.
won its biggest ever order, providing power cables | :11:53. | :11:56.
for the world's largest JDR Cables will supply | :11:57. | :11:58.
the Hornsea Project One Farl, The work's created about 60 jobs | :11:59. | :12:03.
and will guarantee employment for its existing | :12:04. | :12:08.
220 workers for 18 months. Our Business Correspondent, | :12:09. | :12:11.
Ian Reeve, reports. At last, a British factory | :12:12. | :12:17.
supplying a wind farm Companies in Germany, | :12:18. | :12:20.
France and Belgium have all got big orders for schemes | :12:21. | :12:27.
close to our shores. But this Hartlepool company | :12:28. | :12:29.
will supply cables for a wind farm to be built off | :12:30. | :12:32.
the Yorkshire coast - And it's this company's biggest ever | :12:33. | :12:34.
order, guaranteeing all 220 workers We've been hiring quite | :12:35. | :12:40.
substantially over the past few months, preparing ourselves for this | :12:41. | :12:47.
new phase of contract. Over the past six months, | :12:48. | :12:51.
we've recruited 60 people. But that might not be | :12:52. | :12:55.
it for this company. More orders could yet | :12:56. | :12:59.
be in the offering. The activity is very high and we're | :13:00. | :13:02.
expecting to get more contr`cts over But, first, work starts | :13:03. | :13:10.
on the new order off A scheme that, when it comes | :13:11. | :13:15.
on stream, will be able to supply For apprentice Amber, | :13:16. | :13:20.
the scale of the job, 174 ttrbines, means it should be welcomed more | :13:21. | :13:24.
widely than just in this factory. Obviously with the downturn in oil | :13:25. | :13:30.
and gas, its brilliant It's fantastic news for not just | :13:31. | :13:34.
Hartlepool, but for the north-east. We have a lot of people working | :13:35. | :13:39.
in this facility that are from Newcastle and elsewhere | :13:40. | :13:42.
from the North East. It just means everyone feels | :13:43. | :13:44.
secure in their job roles. Indeed, it's good news | :13:45. | :13:50.
for the whole country, so the wind farm developer claims, | :13:51. | :13:54.
as the scheme will produce low Hartlepool will have played | :13:55. | :13:56.
a big in that. You're watching | :13:57. | :14:07.
Wednesday's Look North. Tonight's sports news | :14:08. | :14:09.
with Jeff Brown shortly. How this man's idea to build | :14:10. | :14:11.
beehives in Zambia has helpdd The weather is set to remain cold | :14:12. | :14:24.
over the next few days. Join me shortly for your full midwedk | :14:25. | :14:25.
forecast. There were 900 entries | :14:26. | :14:31.
from across the UK, but onlx a few towns were selected for the final | :14:32. | :14:34.
of the Great British High Street. And one of them is Stockton, | :14:35. | :14:36.
which has made it on to the short Today the head judge | :14:37. | :14:40.
and head of retail at Googld toured the town centre to sde | :14:41. | :14:45.
what it had to offer. Stuart Whincup's been | :14:46. | :14:48.
following the judges around This is the sort of thing Stockton | :14:49. | :15:05.
does well. It's a celebration of the Festival of light and colour. This | :15:06. | :15:09.
is the thing Stockton has bden pushing today. Its ability to put on | :15:10. | :15:12.
these big events. Hundreds of people watching tonight this festival of | :15:13. | :15:18.
around 80 performers. It's these regular events that drag people into | :15:19. | :15:23.
the town. That is what the team phase sets Stockton apart and that | :15:24. | :15:26.
is what they've been trying to impress the judges with tod`y. | :15:27. | :15:31.
The judges judged well be street performers provided the colour, and | :15:32. | :15:39.
comedy. Then the head judge was treated to a surprise flash mob | :15:40. | :15:47.
So was the man from Google hmpressed by what he saw? It's one big stage, | :15:48. | :15:53.
isn't it? And I think it's really impressive, the way that | :15:54. | :15:55.
Stockton-on-Tees has drawn the link between performance and | :15:56. | :15:58.
entertainment and also creating a real thriving hub of the high street | :15:59. | :16:02.
right here in the middle of Stockton. What makes this town | :16:03. | :16:05.
special, I think, is not just the people and the make-up of the fact | :16:06. | :16:10.
that the high street really is at the centre of the community. | :16:11. | :16:14.
Stockton's bid centres on its ability to host big events `nd is | :16:15. | :16:18.
regenerated high street. Evdnts like the International Riverside | :16:19. | :16:24.
Festival, now in its third xear And street parties like the Quedn's | :16:25. | :16:29.
Jubilee. Stockton have had ` negative vibe for a long tile. But I | :16:30. | :16:35.
think the occupancy rate is going up. I think it's a real poshtive | :16:36. | :16:39.
Stockton has been nominated for this because I think we are a rising star | :16:40. | :16:46.
on the high street. But to win the title, Stockton has to beat off | :16:47. | :16:54.
competition from a seaside resort in the Islands of Scotland and a market | :16:55. | :16:58.
town in Herefordshire. But the people here believe there is only | :16:59. | :17:00.
one worthy winner. I think they ve done a fantastic job. They've really | :17:01. | :17:05.
brought it up. I have relathves who live away and they say it's | :17:06. | :17:09.
fantastic when they come up. We ve really improved its. I think they've | :17:10. | :17:13.
done a really good job. Thex do the weekends, the cycling. All of this, | :17:14. | :17:19.
the choir. It's fabulous. As well as the honour and prestige, thd winner | :17:20. | :17:28.
of the Rising Star Award wotld get a share of ?100,000. And, let's be | :17:29. | :17:31.
honest, would any other sitds be able to provide sites like this | :17:32. | :17:39.
It's a bit like Strictly, 50% of the score is made up public votd. A lot | :17:40. | :17:53.
of people have now been encouraged to get on the website and p`ss their | :17:54. | :17:58.
vote. Two. Voting continues for another two weeks. There's plenty of | :17:59. | :18:05.
opportunity to make sure Stockton get that special honour. | :18:06. | :18:09.
There you go, log in! Not until seven o'clock, though. | :18:10. | :18:11.

It all came about because of Martin Zuck. | :18:42. | :18:49.
He left school with one O-ldvel in woodwork, and then went | :18:50. | :18:52.

Ventures, such as setting up banana farms, ended in failure | :18:58. | :19:02.
This farm in Northumberland is stocking the product. | :19:03. | :19:08.
They can send their children to school and they can | :19:09. | :19:15.
And as we sell this widely, retail in the first world whll be | :19:16. | :19:24.
In five years' time, the plan is to have half a lillion | :19:25. | :19:28.
hives which would help 50,000 Zambian families. | :19:29. | :19:33.
So how can they get sales on a massive scale? | :19:34. | :19:35.
Martin set about organising a fancy launch event in London. | :19:36. | :19:40.
Opposite the luxury yacht shop in Mayfair is the KPIG Club. | :19:41. | :19:45.
Thank you very much, everybody, for being here... | :19:46. | :19:47.
His business partner has dressed for the occasion. | :19:48. | :19:50.
A big fan of the product is adventurer | :19:51. | :19:53.
I thought what Martin's dond with this is so counterculttre | :19:54. | :20:00.
to try and do something that firstly can not only building | :20:01. | :20:03.
to a great business, but primarily its supports `nd helps | :20:04. | :20:07.
It's rare to see those ende`vours where you really can simply | :20:08. | :20:12.
It's one thing to produce all of this honey. | :20:13. | :20:19.
This is the genuine, authentic, real thing. | :20:20. | :20:30.
People have come up to me, they want to help. | :20:31. | :20:41.
I think from here it's just going to flow. | :20:42. | :20:43.
We're going to get it into the supermarkets and I believe | :20:44. | :20:46.
this is the beginning of something international. | :20:47. | :20:49.
The rest of us might be seehng it in shops near us soon. | :20:50. | :20:59.
We were just saying that Be`r Grylls' job title, that somdthing | :21:00. | :21:08.
else! Adventurer, better th`n being a football manager, that's for sure. | :21:09. | :21:11.
Sunderland Football Club have denied a report in a national newspaper | :21:12. | :21:13.
today which says David Moyes will be sacked if the Black Cats don't beat | :21:14. | :21:17.
Moyes is understood to have had talks with the club's owner, | :21:18. | :21:20.
Ellis Short, in the wake of Sunderland's disastrous | :21:21. | :21:22.
Ten games in and they're bottom of the Premier League, | :21:23. | :21:26.
with just two points from a possible 30. | :21:27. | :21:28.
In the eight years since he took control at the Stadium of Lhght | :21:29. | :21:31.
Short has employed eight different managers. | :21:32. | :21:33.
In the 1990s he played in both Sunderland and Newcastle te`ms | :21:34. | :21:36.
promoted to the Premier League as champions. | :21:37. | :21:37.
And the boyhood Magpies' fan came within a whisker of a top | :21:38. | :21:40.
Midfielder Lee Clark went on to become a manager. | :21:41. | :21:45.
He's currently north of the border with SPL club, Kilmarnock. | :21:46. | :21:49.
But he reflects on his life and career so far | :21:50. | :21:51.
Lee Clark was one in a long line of north-east professional | :21:52. | :22:05.
footballers who learnt their trade at the famous Wallsend Boys' Club. | :22:06. | :22:10.
Coming to the youth system at Newcastle, he was mentordd | :22:11. | :22:14.
by Paul Gascoigne, before G`zza left Tyneside for Spurs. | :22:15. | :22:16.
Fiery at times but always fhercely competitive, Clark started | :22:17. | :22:18.
and finished his senior carder at Saint James's Park, | :22:19. | :22:20.
which partly inspired the title of his book. | :22:21. | :22:22.
I said in part of the book I was living the dream. | :22:23. | :22:25.
For me to be involved in my home town football club in the c`pacity | :22:26. | :22:29.
I was, an exciting era, it was fantastic. | :22:30. | :22:31.
I started my playing career there and I finished it there. | :22:32. | :22:34.
It was an unbelievable way for things to happen | :22:35. | :22:41.
something I could have drealt of but it became | :22:42. | :22:43.
And a boyhood pal has no dotbt why Kevin Keegan's Entertainers | :22:44. | :22:48.
were just pipped to the title by Manchester United two decadds ago. | :22:49. | :22:51.
He was so skilful, his first touch was second to none. | :22:52. | :22:56.
I honestly thought that if Keegan would have stuck with Lee Clark | :22:57. | :23:01.
if Lee had continued the rest of the season, | :23:02. | :23:05.
A successful spell with firdce north-east rivals Sunderland came | :23:06. | :23:10.
to a controversial and abrupt end when Clark was photographed | :23:11. | :23:13.
at the 1999 FA Cup final wearing a T-shirt mocking | :23:14. | :23:15.
As you get older and you become a little bit wiser. | :23:16. | :23:23.
You have certain things you've regretted to have done. | :23:24. | :23:25.
That was certainly one of those incidents. | :23:26. | :23:31.
Whenever I go back to my other club, Fulham, whenever I go back | :23:32. | :23:35.
there I'm welcome back with open arms. | :23:36. | :23:37.
But that cannot be the case at Sunderland because | :23:38. | :23:39.
That's an unfortunate thing for me because of what I'd done in two | :23:40. | :23:44.
Meanwhile, with Newcastle f`ns already drawing comparisons | :23:45. | :23:47.
between current boss Rafa Bdnitez and predecessors Kevin Keeg`n | :23:48. | :23:49.
and Sir Bobby Robson, does he share the view that another | :23:50. | :23:52.
exciting new era is dawning for the Magpies? | :23:53. | :24:02.
It's fantastic and long may it continue. | :24:03. | :24:06.
This time next year, talking about how successful | :24:07. | :24:08.
It will not be like in the previous years where they were | :24:09. | :24:14.
There was disharmony from the terraces. | :24:15. | :24:17.
They'll have a manager who can attract the best players | :24:18. | :24:20.
up to Newcastle and can makd them successful in the top level. | :24:21. | :24:24.
As Mark said, Lee Clark was part of Kevin Keegan's Entertaindrs | :24:25. | :24:26.
And today another member of that famous squad, Alan Shearer, | :24:27. | :24:31.
has picked up a cheque for lore than ?50,000 for his foundation | :24:32. | :24:34.
following a charity football match at Kingston Park. | :24:35. | :24:37.
Shearer scored in front of lore than 6,000 supporters when he turned | :24:38. | :24:40.
out for a Newcastle Utd Legdnds team against a Manchester Utd | :24:41. | :24:46.
XI last month - 20 years after the Entertainers' | :24:47. | :24:48.
famous 5-0 victory over Alex Ferguson's team. | :24:49. | :24:50.
The money will help fund spdcialist respite and residential card | :24:51. | :24:53.
Now it's time for the weathdr. I suspect it is a night for double | :24:54. | :25:09.
duvets. He will have his vest tucked in as | :25:10. | :25:14.
well. It is noticeably colddr! We've had some lovely autumn sunshine but | :25:15. | :25:17.
it has felt cold. Our camer`man was out and about yesterday. He got arty | :25:18. | :25:25.
in and around Hexham. The colours are showing off beautifully. A bit | :25:26. | :25:29.
less of the blue sky today, but it stayed fine and dry for most of us. | :25:30. | :25:34.
Change on the way for the ndxt few days. I hope you enjoyed those | :25:35. | :25:39.
bubbly blue skies while thex lasted. Things are set to stay cold as we | :25:40. | :25:46.
had two wards the weekend. Ht says cold. We will see some rain at times | :25:47. | :25:50.
over the next couple of days. Still a little bit of brightness but | :25:51. | :25:53.
nowhere near as much sunshine as the last couple of days. Dry, clear and | :25:54. | :25:58.
cold again this evening. Thd temperatures are already dropping | :25:59. | :26:01.
away. I don't think it will get as cold as last night because we've got | :26:02. | :26:04.
Cloud coming in from the west overnight which should stop the | :26:05. | :26:08.
temperature is getting much lower than 2-3 Celsius. That will also | :26:09. | :26:12.
bring patchy rain into northern and western areas by the tail end of the | :26:13. | :26:17.
night. You'll notice the wind direction changes to a light | :26:18. | :26:21.
southerly by the end of the night. A cloudy start tomorrow. Most of us | :26:22. | :26:25.
will see patchy rain is dre`ding our way at some point through the day. A | :26:26. | :26:32.
few gaps in the cloud, but not many. A few brief, bright intervals rather | :26:33. | :26:35.
than the large amount of sunshine we've enjoyed over the last couple | :26:36. | :26:39.
of days. More organised rain getting into Cumbria by the end of the | :26:40. | :26:43.
afternoon. It will be called despite south-westerly winds. Temperatures | :26:44. | :26:45.
will only just struggle into double figures. We have a frontal system | :26:46. | :26:51.
bringing us back cloud and rain tomorrow. Then this low-pressure | :26:52. | :26:55.
hangs around for a couple of days. The tail end of that occlushon comes | :26:56. | :26:58.
round to give us some showers into the weekend. Through the wedkend, | :26:59. | :27:05.
the low away and brings in ` cold northerly wind. Still a few showers | :27:06. | :27:10.
around. And wintry feel to the weather as we head through the | :27:11. | :27:13.
weekend. On Friday, the risk of the odd heavy shower. Barely light winds | :27:14. | :27:18.
but the temperatures still on the low side as well. Saturday sees the | :27:19. | :27:22.
odd shower, but generally bdcoming drier. They called northerlx wind | :27:23. | :27:26.
which we keep as we head through Sunday as well. Feeling bitterly | :27:27. | :27:33.
cold with just a few wintry showers. Thanks, Paul. How does rain organise | :27:34. | :27:37.
itself? It lines up and it had our way! | :27:38. | :27:41.
There you go. Great. Good nhght If you trust me not | :27:42. | :27:53.
and I trust you not, then what is the point | :27:54. | :27:55.
in this marriage at all? Life holds very few things | :27:56. | :27:57.
which are genuinely worth having. If you don't possess them, | :27:58. | :27:59.
everything else is worthless. BBC One presents a special evening | :28:00. | :28:03.
with Michael Buble... I think of it as an excuse | :28:04. | :28:21.
to throw a party. | :28:22. | :28:24. |
