They've done it! Sheffield Tnited have booked their place at Wembley

after beating Charlton Athldtic in the FA Cup quarterfinal. Thd Blades

won 2`0 and will face Hull City in the semi final. Mark Ansell was

there. We're going to Wembley. That was the

cry at full`time. And the Blades deserved it. 25 minutes frol time,

Sheffield United's Ryan Flynn stretched to poke in a bouncing

cross. And then a couple of minutes later, John Brayford's shot was

deflected past the Charlton keeper. More than 30,000 people packed into

Bramall Lane to witness Sheffield United's ninth win in a row. The

Blades are off to Wembley. We seemed to grow a foot after we

scored. And the second goal... Lucky deflection, but I thought wd

deserved it. You could see the support get behind them. It's

rocking this place when we're winning. Fantastic. I went to Villa

Park and saw the win. I thotght that would be the end of it. It hs like a

dream. We're going to Wembldy. It is superb for everybody. The atmosphere

here today was special. First time we've experienced it. Great

atmosphere against Forest, nearly sold out today. And it helpdd us

today, they got us through, the supporters. Today, the fans really

were the 12th man. The girlfriend of missing York man

Ben Clarkson says she doesn't think he fell in a river in the chty after

leaving a nightclub a week `go. 22`year`old Ben was last sedn in the

early hours of last Sunday lorning leaving Fibbers nightclub. Rachel

Peatfield has been handing out leaflets in York today in an attempt

to jog people's memories. Police divers have searched the River Foss

in York as part of several lines of inquiry.

I change my mind every day. I don't know. Personally, I don't think he's

Two Yorkshire Liberal Democrat MPs have joined with the six others who

represent north of England constituencies by signing a letter

claiming the coalition government is giving a better economic de`l to the

south. They deny their move will embarrass Deputy Prime Minister Nick

Clegg despite the document dmerging as he closed the Liberal Delocrat

Conference in York with a speech saying government Economic policies

are working. Well, I don't think it's anx

breakaway development at all of rebels. This is our job as Northern

MPs, to speak up for the North. And I think there is the view, coming

out of the recession, the economy is improving, but it needs to be across

the whole piece, and not just in certain areas, and in particular the

south`east in London. So we are doing our job by speaking up for the

manager Brian McDermott has said yesterday's resounding defe`t can't

be blamed on uncertainty ovdr the club's future ownership. Ledds lost

5`1 at home to Bolton. Prospective new owner Massimo Cellino attended

the game which could have ended United's play`off hopes. Afterwards,

Sochi. The former soldier, who lost both his legs at the knee in a

suicide bomb attack while sdrving in Iraq, was 10.97 seconds behhnd the

winner. This was his Winter Paralympics debut.

A woman from Leeds who fought for a change in the law to allow female

wrestling bouts to be held hn public has been posthumously honoured

today. Marj Farrar was known in the ring as Sue Brittain. She dhed last

year. She successfully took on the former Greater London Counchl in the

1970s, claiming sex discrimhnation. Former wrestlers presented her

husband with an award at an event in Oulton today.

For one thing, she would have been amazed at getting recognition like

this. Because she never considered herself in that sort of brigade You

never knew what to expect from Sue when she was in the ring. You always

had to keep your eye on her. Sometimes, that wasn't enough.

Hello and good evening. Aftdr a very mild day today, it's going to get a

bit cooler tomorrow. Still some sunshine. What we're going to see is

big cloud coming from the north overnight accompanied by sole patchy

rain and drizzle for a time. Perhaps cloud breaks filtering some northern

parts later, the odd fog patches. Temperatures down to around six or

seven degrees. Perhaps a grdy and grotty start to the day but things

will improve. We should see some bright sunny spells spreading down

from the north through the day, perhaps not as sunny and not as mild

as it has been today. Temperatures at around ten degrees is about

average for March. Through next week, high pressure continuds to

dominate, a lot of dry and settled weather to come, hopefully some

sunshine by day but frosty `nd foggy by night. That is it from us for the

Aggro in good and Wales had warm weather today with the hotspot

Gravesend in Kent. For Scotland and Ireland, your

weather will improve this week. It wasn't there today with the cloud.

Some rain in Northern Ireland pushing across more of Scotland and
