More than 150 police officers are now on the streets of

South Yorkshire looking for murder suspect John Heald.

Heald is wanted in connection with the killing of a landlady at a guest

Police have received a number of reported sightings of him

in the Wath`upon`Deane, Mexborough, Rawmarsh and Swinton areas.

Well we are nearing the end of day four of this police hunt for big

three`year`old John Heald. Around 150 police officers are now working

on the case and some of them are armed. People living here in Wath

and nearby areas are advised to keep windows and doors locked tonight as

he is believed to be dangerous. In the past hour an appeal has been

aired on the BBC Crimewatch programme. There is now ?5,000 for

information leading to his arrest and also earlier today wanted

posters were handed out on the streets of South Yorkshire by

police. A joint police press conference was held this afternoon

chaired by South Yorkshire and Humberside police. The main message

to come from that is that anyone harbouring John Heald needs to come

forward. If people are harbouring him there is a clear message to them

that they need to do the right thing and give him up. We're not saying he

commit further offences. We're making sure that we have additional

resources in areas where he could possibly be. If people do have

suspicions, some disturbances in the back gardens, it is important to

telephone us. Police have also revealed more

about the murder of Bay Carter We now know Bay Carter died of stab

wound to the chest. She had not been in Bridlington for too long after

she and her family returned to the UK from China two years ago. They

understandably devastated. We also know that it is likely that John

Heald was lying low in Bridlington after what has been described as a

serious violent incident in South Yorkshire the week before. There

have also been sightings of him although how many of those are

confirmed is unclear tonight. The mother of a young woman from

Leeds who died from cervical cancer at the age of 23 says she wants to

know why her daughter's illness Keeley Devine died last September,

leaving behind a young son. Her Mother Alexandra Dickinson

says Keely repeatedly sought She wants to know

if more could have been done to With this obvious zest for life but

never guess that this three`year`old lost his mother to cervical cancer.

She died at just 23, despite repeated visits to doctors with

classic cancer symptoms, it was not diagnosed until it was too late. She

screaming in pain at the hospital and blood everywhere and they said

it was an infection. She was sent off with tablets and that happened

three times in three or four weeks. Eventually I kicked off and said I

want the registrar otherwise something has to be done because it

is not normal. A solicitor has taken on the case and says a thorough

investigation is needed into what went wrong. We are at the early

stages and we know that she went on nine or ten occasions to both her GP

and hospital. By the time she was diagnosed she had a sizeable

tumour. The trust that treated Keeley offered its sincere

condolences to her family and said they would urge them to get in touch

if they have any concerns about the care she received. Meanwhile Alex

and Shannon want to raise awareness of the symptoms of cervical cancer.

They do not want to see any other child deprived of a mother by this

devastating disease. Labour has accused the

Liberal Democrat MP for Bradford David Ward of making

"vile comments" on Twitter about Mr Ward wrote on Twitter

"The big question is ` if I lived in #Gaza would I fire a rocket? `

previously overstepped the mark with repugnant language
