On the programme tonight: alone. | :00:00. | :00:00.
The police inspector who became a drug dealer. | :00:00. | :00:07.
Jail for the officer who stole large quantities of cocaine and heroin | :00:08. | :00:10.
from police evidence stores to sell on the streets. | :00:11. | :00:15.
He is a criminal who was masquerading as a police officer and | :00:16. | :00:18.
brought disgrace to his uniform that he once wore. | :00:19. | :00:23.
I'm at a vigil in the Leeds as Yorkshire remembers those who lost | :00:24. | :00:38.
their lives in Westminster. Clocking on - the Yorkshire stately | :00:39. | :00:39.
home that's spent lots of time Find out who's in a very sticky | :00:40. | :00:42.
situation for Comic Relief. And we've all enjoyed plenty | :00:43. | :00:48.
of spring sunshine today. This picture was taken | :00:49. | :00:51.
at Rothwell Church this afternoon. More sunshine to come | :00:52. | :00:54.
across the weekend and I'll have all the details | :00:55. | :00:55.
on that later in the programme. A long-serving West Yorkshire Police | :00:56. | :01:09.
inspector has been jailed for 26 years after stealing drugs | :01:10. | :01:12.
from an evidence store When officers raided | :01:13. | :01:16.
the home of 55-year-old heroin and cannabis | :01:17. | :01:20.
worth ?700,000 pounds. Today the judge at Leeds | :01:21. | :01:25.
Crown Court said he was Disgraced former police Inspector | :01:26. | :01:39.
Keith Boots. A senior officer with more than 20 years' service. He was | :01:40. | :01:46.
stationed here at Trafalgar House in Bradford, responsible for the safe | :01:47. | :01:51.
disposal of seized drugs. But instead, the 55-year-old was | :01:52. | :01:53.
stealing and selling them back onto the streets. Colleagues raised | :01:54. | :01:58.
concerns after noticing drugs missing from an evident store at the | :01:59. | :02:04.
police station. When police raided Keith Boots's home in December 2014, | :02:05. | :02:09.
they discover drugs with a street value of almost ?700,000 and 11 | :02:10. | :02:14.
kilograms of cocaine hidden inside a washing machine. Prosecutors | :02:15. | :02:21.
described catlike boots' home as a warehouse of controlled drugs were | :02:22. | :02:26.
they found crack cocaine, heroin, ecstasy and cannabis. During a | :02:27. | :02:29.
three-month trial at Leeds Crown Court, Paul Greaney QC for the Crown | :02:30. | :02:41.
told the jury... In passing sentence, his honour the QC told | :02:42. | :02:47.
Keith Boots, used all the drugs in order to put them back on the | :02:48. | :02:52.
streets. Your arrogance was your downfall because nobody would doubt | :02:53. | :02:55.
the word of a trusted police officer. You are a disgrace to the | :02:56. | :03:01.
uniform you once war. He is a criminal that was masquerading as a | :03:02. | :03:05.
police officer in utter betrayal whilst his colleagues were working | :03:06. | :03:11.
tirelessly to protect the public by taking drugs out of our communities, | :03:12. | :03:16.
he was putting those drugs back on the street for his son to sell. | :03:17. | :03:23.
Keith Boots's 's son, Ashley, was jailed for 24 years for his part in | :03:24. | :03:27.
the operation and an associate was jailed for five years. Today, former | :03:28. | :03:31.
colleagues expressed revulsion. This is a bad apple who has acted | :03:32. | :03:37.
criminally, dishonourably, disgracefully and is now reaping the | :03:38. | :03:44.
justice of the court system. Keith Boots showed no emotion. His career | :03:45. | :03:46.
and reputation are in ruins. A vigil has just begun in Leeds | :03:47. | :03:49.
in memory of those who died after Wednesday's terror | :03:50. | :03:52.
attack in London. Four people including a police | :03:53. | :03:53.
officer lost their lives The event outside Leeds Art Gallery | :03:54. | :03:56.
in the city centre has been organised by | :03:57. | :03:59.
the organisation Muslim Engagement Our reporter Ali Fortescue | :04:00. | :04:02.
is there for us now. What can you tell us? | :04:03. | :04:16.
Yes, this really is a moment of quiet strength after a tragic week | :04:17. | :04:19.
and people are just starting to arrive at this vigil now. They carry | :04:20. | :04:24.
candles, a sign of respect for those who lost their lives in Westminster | :04:25. | :04:27.
and everyone is here for the same reason and the same message of peace | :04:28. | :04:31.
and love to get across. Joining me now are two men who helped organise | :04:32. | :04:41.
this. Stephen, let's start with you, why did you organise this? What | :04:42. | :04:45.
message do want to get across? There is a tradition in Leeds that when a | :04:46. | :04:49.
terror attack occurs, we hold a vigil in solidarity to the victims | :04:50. | :04:54.
of the attacks so we held a vigil last year after the murder of Jo Cox | :04:55. | :05:03.
by a far right Christian and around seven Flash seven, there was another | :05:04. | :05:08.
vigil and for Charlie Hadow, so I think it is useful for people to | :05:09. | :05:12.
come together and try to pass on the message that we should not let these | :05:13. | :05:16.
events divide us and allow racism to be used by politicians and right | :05:17. | :05:23.
wing activists to attack people. Show had, what impact does this | :05:24. | :05:28.
have, an attack like this, have on the Muslim community? It has a | :05:29. | :05:32.
negative impact and that is why it was really important for us to | :05:33. | :05:36.
organise this vigil with an organisation like Stand Up To | :05:37. | :05:40.
Racism. We have organised over a dozen vigil is nationally, London, | :05:41. | :05:46.
Cardiff, Birmingham, Manchester and is about giving a message of | :05:47. | :05:49.
compassion, empathy and solidarity that the Muslim community feel as | :05:50. | :05:55.
shocked, as in horror as everybody else so we want to give that message | :05:56. | :05:58.
that we are all in it together and we are all human beings. Thank you | :05:59. | :06:02.
very much. That word solidarity am sure will be used over and over in | :06:03. | :06:06.
the coming weeks as we get to grips with what happened on London in | :06:07. | :06:07.
Wednesday. A former player with | :06:08. | :06:08.
the Sheffield Steelers Ice Hockey team is behind bars tonight | :06:09. | :06:10.
after admitting sexual activity with a young girl | :06:11. | :06:12.
and trying to incite others Tom Squires groomed | :06:13. | :06:15.
the girls after meeting them at hockey training camps | :06:16. | :06:18.
he was helping to run. The judge called him | :06:19. | :06:20.
a predator and a clear danger. Tom, what was the evidence? | :06:21. | :06:37.
Well, Phil, as you say, Tom Squires played not only for the Sheffield | :06:38. | :06:40.
Steelers but also for the Hull stingrays. He's a 26 your old man | :06:41. | :06:43.
that had once been seen as having been very promising career in the | :06:44. | :06:48.
sport. He was also a part-time coach and would often train at summer | :06:49. | :06:52.
camps. Inevitably, the court heard, he would meet young girls whom he | :06:53. | :06:55.
would go on to abuse. Because he was a star, they were flattered by his | :06:56. | :07:00.
attention but ultimately, he would end up pestering them, asking them | :07:01. | :07:03.
to send him intimate pictures and often sending an explicit picture | :07:04. | :07:07.
which they had not asked for in return. Some of the girls complied | :07:08. | :07:10.
with his requests and some did not and in another example, there was a | :07:11. | :07:17.
time he went to the family home of one of his young victims and put his | :07:18. | :07:21.
hand on her leg at the dining room table as the family sat down for a | :07:22. | :07:23.
meal. What did the judge had to say today? | :07:24. | :07:28.
Passing sentence, the judge said that Squires was a predator, a | :07:29. | :07:33.
danger. This was a torrid, disgraceful and appalling series of | :07:34. | :07:37.
offences against young women. He sentenced Squires to five years and | :07:38. | :07:40.
four months in prison with an additional three years on licence. | :07:41. | :07:43.
He will appear on the sex offenders register and ultimately be subject | :07:44. | :07:46.
to a sexual harm prevention order which, when he is released, will | :07:47. | :07:51.
seriously restrict his life. As there been any reaction from the | :07:52. | :07:55.
victims? There were five young girls in this | :07:56. | :07:59.
case. Two of them were in court. The young adults now listening to the | :08:00. | :08:02.
evidence. Several victim impact statements were read to be caught. | :08:03. | :08:07.
One of them said, describing the damage that Squires' actions had | :08:08. | :08:11.
had, I thought we were friends that he abused his friendship. It ruined | :08:12. | :08:15.
my young teenage years. He is a sexual predator. I can't forget what | :08:16. | :08:20.
he did. Thank you. Tom Ingle live in | :08:21. | :08:21.
Sheffield. Top of the league | :08:22. | :08:22.
with eight games left, Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder | :08:23. | :08:25.
tells us about his team's chances Next tonight, a new scheme has been | :08:26. | :08:28.
launched in York to tackle anti-social behaviour | :08:29. | :08:37.
in the city centre. A team of Street Rangers are being | :08:38. | :08:39.
paid for by local businesses to make trips a more pleasant | :08:40. | :08:42.
experience for visitors As Michelle Lyons has been finding | :08:43. | :08:45.
out, the new blue uniforms deal with everything from shop | :08:46. | :08:50.
lifters to missing people. Two young girls, | :08:51. | :08:55.
known for shoplifting. So, we're just going to go | :08:56. | :08:59.
and make our presence known. Hopefully we can deter them | :09:00. | :09:04.
from going into any businesses. Two known shoplifters | :09:05. | :09:10.
are doing the rounds in York. The street rangers have been called | :09:11. | :09:12.
in to warn them off. They work in partnership | :09:13. | :09:16.
with the police to keep the streets clean, | :09:17. | :09:18.
safe and trouble-free. The likelihood is that they'll be | :09:19. | :09:21.
issued a banning order from the town for maybe 24 hours | :09:22. | :09:24.
or two days just to keep them out We work with street rangers | :09:25. | :09:28.
on a daily basis really. Town centre, they're | :09:29. | :09:37.
a good resource for us. They don't have any powers, | :09:38. | :09:40.
unfortunately, but they certainly help us out with finding | :09:41. | :09:42.
missing people, shoplifters, they get involved and we work | :09:43. | :09:45.
really well together. The rangers are paid | :09:46. | :09:51.
for by the businesses themselves by York Business | :09:52. | :09:55.
Improvement District. The main areas of the role | :09:56. | :09:59.
are actually to help to draw people into the city by creating | :10:00. | :10:02.
a safe and secure environment, so maybe that means in terms | :10:03. | :10:05.
of reporting and dealing with cleanliness issues, but also | :10:06. | :10:09.
speaking to an engaging with people who come to the city | :10:10. | :10:13.
to have a good time, but it might impact negatively | :10:14. | :10:15.
on other people. No, everything's been | :10:16. | :10:17.
all right today. Well, you've got our number, | :10:18. | :10:22.
so give us a call any time. They check up on us, | :10:23. | :10:26.
make sure everything's all right. If we have any trouble, | :10:27. | :10:33.
they'll come in, And basically relieve us from any | :10:34. | :10:35.
problems that we have. We've got to chill out | :10:36. | :10:39.
somewhere, haven't we? A lot of us have got | :10:40. | :10:42.
addictions, haven't we? And there's nowhere | :10:43. | :10:45.
for us to go where And it's this type of | :10:46. | :10:48.
friendly approach Their presence in York city | :10:49. | :10:53.
centre helps to reduce crime as well as give support | :10:54. | :10:57.
to those who may need it. A suspected burglar has died | :10:58. | :11:06.
after getting trapped in the roof-space of a shop | :11:07. | :11:08.
in West Yorkshire. Police believe the man | :11:09. | :11:11.
removed roof tiles to break into Rowlands Chemists | :11:12. | :11:14.
in Queensbury near Bradford. They're treating his death | :11:15. | :11:17.
as an accident His body is thought to have been | :11:18. | :11:19.
in the roof-space for several weeks. A man has died following an incident | :11:20. | :11:24.
at a textile mill near Huddersfield. West Yorkshire Police say | :11:25. | :11:28.
they were called to IFG Drake at Victoria Mills in Golcar, | :11:29. | :11:31.
in the early hours of this morning. A 51-year-old man was | :11:32. | :11:34.
pronounced dead at the scene. The Police and Health | :11:35. | :11:37.
and Safety Executive are now working 14 people are due to appear in court | :11:38. | :11:40.
charged with offences relating to an incident which involved | :11:41. | :11:48.
multiple bikers causing chaos 13 men and a woman were charged | :11:49. | :11:52.
with causing a public nuisance They're due to appear | :11:53. | :11:58.
at Leeds Magistrates' Court A new law which could help families | :11:59. | :12:02.
sort out their missing loved one's finances has got | :12:03. | :12:07.
through it's final stage Claudia's Law is named after missing | :12:08. | :12:10.
York chef Claudia Lawrence The bill will now move | :12:11. | :12:15.
to the House of Lords, where they'll decide if it | :12:16. | :12:19.
should become law. Sports now. Six weeks to go plus the | :12:20. | :12:36.
play-offs for a few, one would imagine. | :12:37. | :12:37.
We'll start with some football news that Huddersfield Town fans | :12:38. | :12:39.
WON'T want to hear, ahead of what was otherwise | :12:40. | :12:41.
The man who recruited head coach David Wagner, | :12:42. | :12:45.
as well as finding most of the players who've done | :12:46. | :12:47.
so well this season, is on the brink of leaving. | :12:48. | :12:49.
Head of Football Operations Stuart Webber has been offered | :12:50. | :12:52.
There are unconfirmed reports tonight that Webber has already been | :12:53. | :12:55.
put on garden leave by Huddersfield, to avoid a conflict of interests. | :12:56. | :13:00.
Meanwhile, Sheffield United sit top of League One | :13:01. | :13:02.
This weekend, more than 4,000 fans will make the trip | :13:03. | :13:07.
to Oldham to cheer them on, hoping that this season their team | :13:08. | :13:11.
Just don't mention promotion to manager, | :13:12. | :13:16.
Chris, have you banned at the P-word from the training ground? | :13:17. | :13:22.
Absolutely. Absolutely. | :13:23. | :13:23.
Well, with our history at this football club... | :13:24. | :13:27.
It's a new group, new manager, new set of staff, | :13:28. | :13:31.
We want to get out of the division but we understand we've | :13:32. | :13:37.
still got work to do and rolling onto Saturday and a tough game. | :13:38. | :13:41.
As you start to close in on it though, | :13:42. | :13:44.
as the games take off, is it hard to keep | :13:45. | :13:46.
everybody from looking at the table | :13:47. | :13:48.
Well, I can't police them, so I can't sit next to them 24/7, | :13:49. | :13:54.
but it's a working environment in and around the training ground and, | :13:55. | :13:57.
They've been consistently playing very, very well. | :13:58. | :14:02.
Do you sneak a look at the table or have you banned it for yourself? | :14:03. | :14:07.
You live with it right the way through. | :14:08. | :14:12.
You've got to live with this job as a football manager especially. | :14:13. | :14:15.
My connections with this football club, | :14:16. | :14:17.
So, are you allowing yourself to think about it, | :14:18. | :14:22.
A bit split personality at the moment? | :14:23. | :14:26.
I went to have my haircut yesterday and walked to the town centre | :14:27. | :14:31.
thinking, it might be quite busy here at the end of the season. | :14:32. | :14:34.
So it's a bit daft, really, but no, you can dream. | :14:35. | :14:37.
That's what we're in the game for, you know, to achieve | :14:38. | :14:39.
and we've got a fantastic opportunity. | :14:40. | :14:41.
We've put ourselves in a great position. | :14:42. | :14:43.
These situations don't come year in, year out. | :14:44. | :14:49.
Only if you're Frank Lampard or Steven Gerrard and | :14:50. | :14:52.
you win things year in, year out and you're playing for your country. | :14:53. | :14:56.
You know, everybody else has to scrap | :14:57. | :14:57.
and battle and fight for everything and, you know, | :14:58. | :15:00.
and it's not a promotion every, every year. | :15:01. | :15:06.
So there is an opportunity for these players and they're focused | :15:07. | :15:09.
And then obviously, if they do, and I'm sure they will do, | :15:10. | :15:14.
then we'll have a good time at the back of that. | :15:15. | :15:20.
and what a comeback it was by Wakefield Trinity last night, | :15:21. | :15:23.
to secure their third win of the season. | :15:24. | :15:25.
Trailing by 24 points to 12 at home to Leigh, | :15:26. | :15:28.
Wakefield turned it all around with three second-half tries. | :15:29. | :15:31.
Jacob Miller's converted score helped them back to 24-24. | :15:32. | :15:34.
And it was Ben Jones-Bishop who managed to reach over | :15:35. | :15:37.
And finally, congratulations to Bradford's Jenny really featured a | :15:38. | :15:51.
few weeks ago who finished fourth in the figure skating at the Winter | :15:52. | :15:53.
Special Olympics. That's all from me. | :15:54. | :15:55.
If you're wondering where Phil is, he's gone to see | :15:56. | :15:59.
This is the gallery which people don't often see | :16:00. | :16:03.
and this lady here rules the roost. | :16:04. | :16:05.
which is kind of appropriate given the clocks are going forward | :16:06. | :16:10.
OK, in that case, let's go to the next item. | :16:11. | :16:17.
They'll be hard pressed to manage all the clocks to change | :16:18. | :16:22.
at Nostell Priory near Wakefield this weekend, those two, | :16:23. | :16:24.
because they've got 2000 of them at the moment! | :16:25. | :16:26.
They're celebrating one of England's greatest inventors - John Harrison. | :16:27. | :16:29.
He was the man behind the first ever marine timepiece | :16:30. | :16:31.
and the longcase clock which was invented 300 years ago. | :16:32. | :16:36.
Shirley Henry's been along to make sure it's ticking along nicely. | :16:37. | :16:53.
From bigger too small, quirky to traditional, and artistic display of | :16:54. | :17:04.
2000 clocks at the Priory. We have clocks from all different eras of | :17:05. | :17:09.
time. Some are fun, some are quirky, summer quite poetic, some all remind | :17:10. | :17:13.
you of your childhood. And they are all taking away. It almost sounds | :17:14. | :17:20.
like water, it feels like we are surrounded by rain. It is called | :17:21. | :17:26.
Harrison's Garden after the inventor John Harrison. He was born on the | :17:27. | :17:32.
estate in 1693, the son of a carpenter, he became a clockmaker. | :17:33. | :17:37.
But one of his greatest inventions was the marine barometer. He is one | :17:38. | :17:42.
of the most important clockmakers in the history of timekeeping. Period, | :17:43. | :17:49.
as they say. Because it was John Harrison who eventually sold the | :17:50. | :17:53.
great longitude problem -- solves the great longitude problem and | :17:54. | :17:57.
created not only the first Marine barometer but also the first | :17:58. | :18:01.
precision watches. This was one of his earliest creations, a wooden | :18:02. | :18:04.
clock. It is 300 years old. There are only three surviving. This is | :18:05. | :18:11.
the only one that still works. But one clock won't make an exhibition, | :18:12. | :18:15.
so the public appeal was made for the donation of clocks. It has been | :18:16. | :18:21.
quite a painstaking process to categorise them, to clean them, to | :18:22. | :18:25.
make sure if they work, if they work to check the battery they need to | :18:26. | :18:31.
get them ticking. Donations include this 1930s granddaughter clock. It | :18:32. | :18:36.
was re-and sport in the garage. I've always wondered what to do with it. | :18:37. | :18:40.
Should I take it to the tip, should I give it away, no, I could never do | :18:41. | :18:47.
that. It is now part of Harrison's Garden. The timing of this | :18:48. | :18:52.
exhibition is perfect. Today is John Harrison's birthday. But Time waits | :18:53. | :18:57.
for no one. The display ends on the 9th of July. I don't know about you, | :18:58. | :19:10.
Lara, there's something going on today but I don't know what it is. | :19:11. | :19:12.
That spot has grown a bit! It's Red Nose Day today | :19:13. | :19:14.
with thousands of you doing It all culminates in a Comic Relief | :19:15. | :19:16.
TV extravaganza starting right here You've been baking, | :19:17. | :19:20.
shaking, quizzing, running, jumping and even gunging | :19:21. | :19:29.
BBC presenters Ian White has spent the day | :19:30. | :19:32.
capturing as much of it and he joins us now | :19:33. | :19:37.
from a climbing centre in Ilkley. Is that they spot, Phil? I'm not | :19:38. | :20:02.
sure. Welcome to Ilkley... Yes, producer Jane? You are admitting | :20:03. | :20:07.
subbing essential. I've told you all day. I have tried to avoid it but | :20:08. | :20:11.
this woman is all bosses she is insisting. We have been all over | :20:12. | :20:14.
Yorkshire see what you have been doing to raise money for the comic | :20:15. | :20:17.
relief and we will come back to this climbing Centre in just a minute at | :20:18. | :20:25.
first, have look at this. Welcome to Comic Relief 2017. Welcome to read | :20:26. | :20:28.
for primary school and we are having fun for Comic Relief, and three? | :20:29. | :20:29.
Yes! Down the M1 in Sheffield, children | :20:30. | :20:42.
from the primary school were springing around at jump Inc to | :20:43. | :20:46.
clock up the pounds. I'd like you to meet some friends of mine. They have | :20:47. | :20:51.
we got here? Justine. Mohammed. Same. Take your glasses off. I | :20:52. | :21:01.
can't, they are face paint. Can we have a joke? What you call a jumper | :21:02. | :21:15.
that is on fire? A blazer. I have to say, West Yorks sounds a bit boring. | :21:16. | :21:21.
Is it a boring place to work? A day in the life. Got to keep it real. | :21:22. | :21:29.
What a talented bunch of workers they are at the West Yorkshire | :21:30. | :21:33.
combined authority including this Scotsman who is not a real Scot. | :21:34. | :21:42.
# Get ready # Get ready #. | :21:43. | :21:47.
. Everyone dressed in red to perform a special wrap and have a chuckle | :21:48. | :21:52.
too. Have you got a funny joke? How many tickles do you have to give an | :21:53. | :22:00.
octopus to make it last? Ten tickles. What do you call a dinosaur | :22:01. | :22:12.
that is bad at hide and seek? Do you think he saw us? It is always good | :22:13. | :22:17.
to catch up with an old friend so I invited Kate Crimson to take the | :22:18. | :22:21.
best seat in the house at York's Barbican all for comic relief and | :22:22. | :22:25.
she got a surprise when she saw what was in the door for her. You're | :22:26. | :22:35.
going to get guns, it yay! Three, two, one! Get the guns out! -- | :22:36. | :22:43.
it is all down the! It's freezing! It's all down her back and | :22:44. | :22:57.
everywhere. I'm fuming. I know a lot of money has been raised, but I'm | :22:58. | :23:08.
furious! My goodness! I am hanging around a lot today. I'm only joking, | :23:09. | :23:13.
I am not really climbing. Let's find Charlotte and Sally. Charlotte, this | :23:14. | :23:17.
is a 24-hour climb on board Comic Relief. How was it going? Fantastic. | :23:18. | :23:22.
We have had amazing support. All the local companies and the staff here | :23:23. | :23:27.
today. Really well. No traumas, everything is fine? Know, everything | :23:28. | :23:31.
is fine. I don't know what to say, it has been amazing. Sally, | :23:32. | :23:36.
something like this is a really good way of having fun but making money | :23:37. | :23:44.
at the same time. Yes, we have donated a billet of fees for | :23:45. | :23:46.
climbing today to Comic Relief but it has been great and all of the | :23:47. | :23:51.
staff have given their time up to climb so yes, thank you so much to | :23:52. | :23:55.
everyone involved. We need some jokes. Organised a joke. Do we have | :23:56. | :24:00.
a joke over here please? What is your name? Janey. I don't get why | :24:01. | :24:07.
dogs run to the door when the doorbell goes because it is hardly | :24:08. | :24:12.
ever for them. I get it because when the doorbell goes it is hardly ever | :24:13. | :24:16.
for them. I get it. Thank you. Whatever you have been doing to | :24:17. | :24:20.
raise money for Comic Relief, thank you so much. We have had a wonderful | :24:21. | :24:25.
time. I have some news about Kate Crimson, there is still stuffed in | :24:26. | :24:30.
her hair! It is still not out yet. I am sorry. Will she ever speaks | :24:31. | :24:36.
again? Maybe not. For a moment I thought I was | :24:37. | :24:40.
watching Noel's house party. He should stick to the day job! | :24:41. | :24:49.
Kate will not have enjoyed having gunge poured on her. But she will | :24:50. | :24:56.
speak again, I'm sure. It is lovely, really nice outside. A lovely week. | :24:57. | :25:01.
Particularly Saturday will be nice. Let's look at some pictures that are | :25:02. | :25:05.
coming. Lots of pictures of the city walls in York, lovely daffodils in | :25:06. | :25:08.
the foreground. Before blue sky. The second photograph, a lovely day from | :25:09. | :25:15.
a walkabout Ilkley. Blossom out on the high Street and a third picture, | :25:16. | :25:23.
Crumble enjoying the sunshine there. Beautiful pictures. Keep sending | :25:24. | :25:28.
them in. It is going to be nice, particularly tomorrow. Mark ladder | :25:29. | :25:31.
round on Sunday but after a chilly start of the day, missed in places, | :25:32. | :25:35.
plenty of sunshine. High pressure dominates so we have a lot of | :25:36. | :25:38.
settled weather to come but really quite cool by night. Long nights | :25:39. | :25:43.
still and we will lose a lot of heat saw a frost is expected. Settled | :25:44. | :25:47.
into the early part of next week but lots more clout. Abbey any cloud to | :25:48. | :25:50.
speak out there at the moment. Over the last few hours, plenty of | :25:51. | :25:54.
sunshine. It's a fine evening with what clear spells. With a light | :25:55. | :25:58.
breeze, there might be patchy mist and fog developing in the night. | :25:59. | :26:02.
Particularly in prone spots, especially down the Vale of York and | :26:03. | :26:06.
we are looking at a cold night with temperatures away from the coast | :26:07. | :26:10.
dropping to at least below freezing, a few degrees below freezing out in | :26:11. | :26:14.
the countryside. The sum of rise in the morning just before 6am setting | :26:15. | :26:18.
just before haka six tomorrow evening. Europe high wattage lines. | :26:19. | :26:25.
We start the day on a chilly zero. The sunshine will burn await mist or | :26:26. | :26:29.
more clout. Or 10am it should mostly be gone and then nice and dry. | :26:30. | :26:33.
Plenty of sunshine. It will feel warm in the sunshine for inland | :26:34. | :26:36.
spots in the afternoon but always that bit cooler along the coast. The | :26:37. | :26:41.
sea still very cold after cooling down after winter. Might get a | :26:42. | :26:44.
double figures but mainly around eight or 9 degrees. Inland, we | :26:45. | :26:49.
should reach 13 or 14 degrees. We reach their the sadness I would not | :26:50. | :26:54.
be surprised if we get to 14 or 15. A chilly start to Sunday with some | :26:55. | :26:57.
sunshine but then more clout through the afternoon. | :26:58. | :27:02.
Spring is definitely on its way. I don't think he looks well dressed. | :27:03. | :27:10.
She carted it, well done! Thank you very much for watching. We'll be | :27:11. | :27:16.
back at 10pm with the rest of the news. Good night. | :27:17. | :27:18. |
