A reminder of the main story, Rolf Harris is beginning a | :00:00. | :00:10.
The headlines: We have been denied justice, a | :00:11. | :00:15.
family's anger following a death in police custody. Someone killed | :00:16. | :00:19.
Kingsley. He never killed hhmself, so who killed Kingsley? The family | :00:20. | :00:25.
say they are planning more protests. The taxi driver who knocked down and | :00:26. | :00:29.
killed a student backs a call for councils to put street lights on at | :00:30. | :00:34.
night. He was wearing dark clothing and the lights were off so the | :00:35. | :00:38.
driver could not have seen him. The stopping distance, even if he could | :00:39. | :00:43.
have seen him, he would havd hit him anyway. | :00:44. | :00:46.
Racing is back on at Warwick six weeks after a horse had to be put | :00:47. | :00:50.
down. Remember this? Cheerful and cheeky. | :00:51. | :00:55.
The famous dress is up for `uction. And there are plenty of outdoor | :00:56. | :00:59.
events taking place this wedkend, but will the weather affect them? If | :01:00. | :01:04.
you are off to a festival, pack your wellies. Not a total wash`ott. The | :01:05. | :01:07.
full forecast later. Good evening. The family of a man | :01:08. | :01:22.
who died after being detaindd by police in Birmingham say thdy have | :01:23. | :01:26.
been denied justice. The Crown Prosecution Service decided this | :01:27. | :01:28.
week not to prosecute policd or medics in connection with the death | :01:29. | :01:31.
of Kingsley barrel. But his relatives believe he was restrained | :01:32. | :01:36.
using excessive force and they say they will continue their fight to | :01:37. | :01:42.
hold officers to account. Kadisha Burrell was one of the last | :01:43. | :01:45.
people to see her brother alive This week she has learned that three | :01:46. | :01:49.
years on no one will face criminal charges in connection with the death | :01:50. | :01:54.
of 29`year`old Kingsley. For the family it is a bitter blow. Having | :01:55. | :01:59.
lost Kingsley in this tragic way is hurtful. But to not get justice | :02:00. | :02:03.
would be unbearable for the family as well as the community. In March | :02:04. | :02:10.
2011, Kingsley was detained under the Mental Health Act. Thred days | :02:11. | :02:14.
later, after a disturbance `t a mental health facility, he died in | :02:15. | :02:19.
hospital. In March 2013, fotr police officers were arrested on stspicion | :02:20. | :02:23.
of gross negligence, manslatghter and misconduct. This week, the CPS | :02:24. | :02:28.
said there was insufficient evidence to bring prosecutions. We are not | :02:29. | :02:32.
giving up, this is just the beginning. We have waited so long | :02:33. | :02:36.
and we will continue to fight, no matter how long it takes. Wd will | :02:37. | :02:40.
get justice for my brother who died in police custody. The family say | :02:41. | :02:44.
Kingsley had no history of lental illness, yet after dialling 999 to | :02:45. | :02:48.
tell police he and his son had been threatened by a gang, he was | :02:49. | :02:53.
detained in this mental health unit in Winson Green. In a violent | :02:54. | :02:57.
incident involving four polhce officers and six medics, Kingsley | :02:58. | :03:01.
was handcuffed and forcibly restrained. His family say such was | :03:02. | :03:06.
the force used that his death later in hospital amounts to manslaughter. | :03:07. | :03:12.
Deciding against prosecutions, the CPS concludes that officers and | :03:13. | :03:16.
medical staff were presented with an ongoing and difficult set of | :03:17. | :03:21.
circumstances. The decision does leave more unanswered questhons And | :03:22. | :03:28.
it does point to a developing debate over to tear justice system, | :03:29. | :03:31.
meaning, does a uniform makds somebody immune from prosecttion in | :03:32. | :03:36.
comparison to a normal man hn the street? At Westminster this week, | :03:37. | :03:43.
MPs heard from a mental health campaign group concerned about the | :03:44. | :03:47.
treatment of lack detainees by the police. We are not seeing any | :03:48. | :03:52.
accountability. We have seen too many healthy people lose thdir lives | :03:53. | :03:55.
at the hands of people who `re tasked with their protection and | :03:56. | :03:57.
care, and there is no accountability. Kingsley's family | :03:58. | :04:04.
are planning more protests `nd they say they will not give up, their | :04:05. | :04:08.
hopes now pinned on an interest a date for which is yet to be fixed. | :04:09. | :04:15.
Today was the deadline for the so`called Trojan Horse schools in | :04:16. | :04:19.
Birmingham to give their response to the Department for Education about | :04:20. | :04:22.
criticism levelled at them hn last month's Ofsted report 's. The | :04:23. | :04:26.
government said the schools were inadequate and were not being led or | :04:27. | :04:30.
managed properly. Peter Wilson has been following the case and is | :04:31. | :04:34.
outside Birmingham City Council house. What is important about | :04:35. | :04:40.
today? Well, today was D`Dax for four schools who had been w`rned | :04:41. | :04:45.
that they face losing their funding. Last month the education | :04:46. | :04:49.
Minister said that he had grave concerns about the running of the | :04:50. | :04:54.
schools. He even criticised them for failing to promote what he describes | :04:55. | :04:59.
as British values. The thred schools from the Park View Academy trust and | :05:00. | :05:04.
another academy have all got their responses into the government and | :05:05. | :05:07.
they are now being looked at tonight. Have the schools s`id | :05:08. | :05:13.
anything publicly? The Park View School is say they are coopdrating | :05:14. | :05:16.
fully with the Department for Education. The pupils are jtst | :05:17. | :05:20.
trying to concentrate on thdir lessons. We seem to be in this limbo | :05:21. | :05:25.
period where we don't know hf an outside group is going to come in | :05:26. | :05:30.
and take over those schools. When will we hear about the other | :05:31. | :05:35.
investigations into the schools We have two investigations, ond by the | :05:36. | :05:39.
City Council, with the Independent Ian Kershaw in charge, and the other | :05:40. | :05:43.
by the government, which is led by Peter Clark, controversiallx the | :05:44. | :05:47.
former head of counter`terrorism for London. Recently, I asked the City | :05:48. | :05:52.
Council leader about whether or not we would ever get to the bottom and | :05:53. | :05:57.
find the truth about the Trojan Horse case. I don't think you will | :05:58. | :06:01.
ever get the provenance of the Trojan Horse document. And H have | :06:02. | :06:06.
been saying that for quite `while. But we to wait. Ian Kershaw's | :06:07. | :06:12.
report, which I will bring hnto the public domain in July. Until then, | :06:13. | :06:17.
there is no comment I can m`ke. The financial dealings of all of the | :06:18. | :06:20.
schools are going to be going through with a fine tooth comb. We | :06:21. | :06:24.
should hear more perhaps about the reports themselves in the ndxt | :06:25. | :06:29.
couple of weeks. From the Council house, back to the studio. | :06:30. | :06:34.
Thank you for joining us thhs Friday evening. Coming up: | :06:35. | :06:38.
A first for Birmingham, as lore than 60,000 fans head to the renowned | :06:39. | :06:44.
Wireless Festival in Perry Park Amazing. Growing up, I did not know | :06:45. | :06:49.
what festivals were until I moved to London. It is good. People `re | :06:50. | :06:56.
really going to enjoy it down here. A taxi driver who knocked down and | :06:57. | :07:00.
killed a student in Leamington is calling on the County Counchl to put | :07:01. | :07:04.
the street lights back on at night. It comes as the AA claims | :07:05. | :07:08.
Warwickshire County Council has ignored the findings of an hnquest | :07:09. | :07:14.
into the death of Archie, who was killed in December 2012. Thdy say | :07:15. | :07:18.
while the number of accidents on roads are falling, they are not | :07:19. | :07:21.
decreasing as fast on roads where street lights have been turned off. | :07:22. | :07:27.
Archie, a student at Warwick University, was described bx his | :07:28. | :07:31.
family as beautiful, intellhgent and very witty. He died after bding hit | :07:32. | :07:36.
by a taxi as he walked home along an unlit road after a night out in | :07:37. | :07:42.
Leamington. This was the taxi driver that night. He is still haunted by | :07:43. | :07:47.
the accident and believes switching off streetlights is dangerots. | :07:48. | :07:50.
Because of the light, they could be saved. You could see clearlx what is | :07:51. | :07:57.
coming in front and what is not It was on this stretch of road that the | :07:58. | :08:02.
accident happened, coming jtst five days after Warwickshire County | :08:03. | :08:05.
Council turned off selected streetlights across the county as | :08:06. | :08:10.
part of a plan to save ?500,000 Archie's family do not blamd the | :08:11. | :08:16.
taxi driver. He could not sde him. He was wearing dark clothing and the | :08:17. | :08:19.
street lights were turned off, so the taxi driver could not h`ve seen | :08:20. | :08:22.
him. The stopping distance `nyway, even if he could have seen him, he | :08:23. | :08:27.
would have hit him anyway. H have no blame for him at all. The coroner | :08:28. | :08:32.
said switching off the lights was a factor and asked the Council to | :08:33. | :08:36.
review their policy. Nobody from Warwickshire County Council would be | :08:37. | :08:40.
interviewed but they did give us a statement. It says whilst the | :08:41. | :08:44.
absence of street lighting was one of many contributory factor is the | :08:45. | :08:47.
coroner identified, a causal link has not been established. The | :08:48. | :08:51.
statement goes on, the council was making improvements to this area | :08:52. | :08:56.
which should be operational from next month. The council say the | :08:57. | :09:00.
number of serious road accident is falling, but clearly their | :09:01. | :09:02.
sympathies remain with Archhe's family. I don't think any f`mily | :09:03. | :09:07.
should have to go through what my family has had to go through, | :09:08. | :09:11.
through the loss of someone in a road traffic accident due to the | :09:12. | :09:15.
lights being turned off. Thd death has led to safety campaigners | :09:16. | :09:18.
calling for more to be done to improve street lighting, and his | :09:19. | :09:22.
family say it is impossible to put a price on life. | :09:23. | :09:29.
Ten men have now been arrested in connection with the disorder in | :09:30. | :09:32.
which a man was killed in Birmingham. Six more were arrested | :09:33. | :09:36.
this evening following the hncident in Sparkbrook on Wednesday. Four of | :09:37. | :09:40.
them are being held on susphcion of attempted murder. The two other men | :09:41. | :09:44.
were arrested on suspicion of murder. They will answer qudstions | :09:45. | :09:47.
once they have finished recdiving medical treatment. Police h`ve also | :09:48. | :09:51.
arrested again the four men they already had in custody on stspicion | :09:52. | :09:55.
of murder. A postmortem exalination has revealed that the victil, | :09:56. | :09:59.
32`year`old Ikram Elahi, didd from a stab wound to the nest, not a | :10:00. | :10:06.
gunshot, as previously thought. Wychavon District Council f`ces a | :10:07. | :10:10.
bill of up to ?100,000 in costs after the government overturned a | :10:11. | :10:14.
planning decision. It means nearly 800 homes on land to the sotth of | :10:15. | :10:18.
Droitwich will now be built, along with 400 more properties at Long | :10:19. | :10:23.
Marston. The government says Wychavon District Council bdhaved | :10:24. | :10:25.
unreasonably in refusing permission. New line we do not think we have | :10:26. | :10:30.
acted unreasonably. It is going to cost money. Sometimes you h`ve to | :10:31. | :10:36.
take a stand. There is not going to be much change out of six fhgures | :10:37. | :10:41.
here. But it is important that we take a stand. We are putting forward | :10:42. | :10:45.
good sites for development hn Wychavon. But we are going to | :10:46. | :10:52.
continue to oppose bad sites. The family of Bob Jones, West | :10:53. | :10:56.
Midlands Police and crime commissioner who died suddenly on | :10:57. | :11:00.
Tuesday, have criticised thd calling of a by`election before his | :11:01. | :11:03.
funeral. It was announced today that voting will take place on Atgust the | :11:04. | :11:07.
21st, but his widow says calling the election before he has been put to | :11:08. | :11:11.
rest is, in her view, disrespectful to him and his good work. | :11:12. | :11:18.
As the debate intensifies over a Greater Birmingham, a Black Country | :11:19. | :11:22.
council leader has thrown hhs weight behind the idea of a West Mhdlands | :11:23. | :11:26.
city region. The Labour leader of Dudley Council, David Sparks, has | :11:27. | :11:29.
been speaking to our political editor, Patrick Burns, as hd | :11:30. | :11:32.
prepares to our political editor, Patrick Burns, as he over as | :11:33. | :11:35.
chairman of the Local Government Association, representing over 00 | :11:36. | :11:39.
local councils. In the West Midlands, if we don't have `n | :11:40. | :11:42.
organisation similar to Gre`ter Manchester, we will suffer. We will | :11:43. | :11:46.
suffer internationally, bec`use we are in global competition. Clearly, | :11:47. | :11:50.
individual local authorities cannot deliver all of the services within | :11:51. | :11:56.
their boundaries any more. Ht was never the case. In the Black | :11:57. | :11:59.
Country, the boundaries are ridiculous. | :12:00. | :12:03.
Patrick will be back with more on this this weekend at 11am on BBC | :12:04. | :12:08.
One. You can read more about it on his blog. | :12:09. | :12:13.
Racing has returned to Warwhck for the first time in six weeks | :12:14. | :12:16.
following the death of a horse in May. Four meetings were movdd to | :12:17. | :12:20.
other tracks while the bend into the home straight was adjusted, but the | :12:21. | :12:24.
long`term future of flat racing at Warwick remains in doubt. D`n | :12:25. | :12:28.
Pallett was there. There are always a few nervds before | :12:29. | :12:34.
racing. Today, ever more so. This was Warwick's first race since a | :12:35. | :12:37.
meeting was abandoned after a fatality. The result was just what | :12:38. | :12:45.
they wanted. All of the runners came back safely. She has put pldnty of | :12:46. | :12:52.
water on the ground. It is good the nicest ground I have written on for | :12:53. | :12:56.
a bit. It was unfortunate. H was here on that day, ten minutds from | :12:57. | :12:59.
the track, and it was like ` monsoon. That was a relief for the | :13:00. | :13:04.
clerk of the course, who has worked hard on the track, ensuring lush | :13:05. | :13:08.
turf and the more gentle turn into the home straight. There is a waste | :13:09. | :13:12.
like trepidation, even without the problems we have had recently. I am | :13:13. | :13:17.
always slightly nervous before racing. Probably every clerk in the | :13:18. | :13:20.
country is, because people `re judging the work you have done based | :13:21. | :13:25.
on how well the horse runs. So it is always quite testing. But I am | :13:26. | :13:30.
hopeful that today will go well and I am confident the changes we have | :13:31. | :13:36.
made are the right ones. Today's racers were all sprints. It was | :13:37. | :13:39.
important to bring racing b`ck to Warwick and a good crowd cale to | :13:40. | :13:43.
enjoy ladies day, but the longer term future of flat racing hs still | :13:44. | :13:49.
being discussed. Nothing has been guaranteed, everything is open. We | :13:50. | :13:51.
have to get the work done and then will we `` we will be in a position | :13:52. | :13:56.
to make the right decision. Ian Williams had a runner today and is a | :13:57. | :14:02.
keen supporter. Whether you are a trainer, Owen or jockey or someone | :14:03. | :14:05.
with a passion for racing, ht is a great track, well maintained and | :14:06. | :14:09.
well looked after. It is an asset to the Midlands and long may it stay | :14:10. | :14:14.
that way. Today, seven racers went off without incident, an important | :14:15. | :14:22.
step forward in a summer to forget. Staying with sport, Hereford United | :14:23. | :14:26.
Football Club have been temporarily banned from staging matches at Edgar | :14:27. | :14:29.
Street because of fears over spectator safety. Herefordshire | :14:30. | :14:34.
Council say they are not satisfied with safety arrangements put in | :14:35. | :14:38.
place by the new owners. It means two friendly matches have bden | :14:39. | :14:41.
postponed. Further talks ard due next week. | :14:42. | :14:46.
Jordanne Whiley from Halesowen is through to the final of the | :14:47. | :14:49.
wheelchair doubles at Wimblddon after victory in her semifinal this | :14:50. | :14:56.
morning. She and her partner have already won the Australian `nd | :14:57. | :14:59.
French open Championships this year. They lost in the final at Whmbledon | :15:00. | :15:03.
in 2013 but will be favourites to win the title on Sunday. Thdre is a | :15:04. | :15:08.
lot of pressure, being the number one seed and winning a Grand Slam | :15:09. | :15:13.
previously this year. You h`ve to put that aside and perform on the | :15:14. | :15:16.
day. If you concentrate on the result, your performance will not be | :15:17. | :15:19.
great. We are focusing and we really want to win. We really want to focus | :15:20. | :15:25.
on the court at the moment. I am emotionally attached to Wimbledon | :15:26. | :15:29.
because it is my home crowd. This is going to be massive for me, if I do | :15:30. | :15:34.
win. I will put all of my hdart into it on Sunday. We will be rooting for | :15:35. | :15:38.
her. Festival season is underway and this | :15:39. | :15:41.
weekend there are a number of events in the Midlands. In Coventrx, the | :15:42. | :15:47.
Godiva Festival, believed to be the biggest free music festival in the | :15:48. | :15:52.
UK, starts tonight. Around 80,0 0 people are expected to attend the | :15:53. | :15:56.
three`day event to see bands like the Happy Mondays and the Btzzcocks. | :15:57. | :16:00.
In Stratford`upon`Avon, the River Festival takes place tomorrow and | :16:01. | :16:05.
Sunday. Organisers are hoping 5 ,000 people will come to enjoy the free | :16:06. | :16:09.
bands and waterways. In Herefordshire, the Bromy`rd Gala | :16:10. | :16:13.
will attract around 10,000 people, with everything from music to steam | :16:14. | :16:17.
engines and even a donkey ddrby But one of the biggest music festival is | :16:18. | :16:21.
ever to be held in Birmingh`m is happening this weekend. The Wireless | :16:22. | :16:26.
Festival has taken place in London for the past nine years. Thhs is the | :16:27. | :16:29.
first time it has also been held in the Midlands. 64,000 people are | :16:30. | :16:34.
expected to attend the thred`day event at Perry Park. This rdport | :16:35. | :16:40.
contains flashing images. Packing Perry Park, Festival lovers | :16:41. | :16:44.
arriving for the first Wireless Festival to be held in Birmhngham as | :16:45. | :16:48.
well as London, as it celebrates its 10th anniversary. Three stages for | :16:49. | :16:54.
three days of urban celebration drawing stars like Kanye West. We | :16:55. | :17:02.
were looking for another site and Birmingham seemed the obviots | :17:03. | :17:06.
choice. It is the year of mtsic in Birmingham. They are pushing live | :17:07. | :17:11.
events. The council were supportive so it seemed a good thing to do All | :17:12. | :17:20.
the way from America, North Carolina's a pop B.O.B. Herd, they | :17:21. | :17:29.
just one music, get music. There are only two kinds of music, good and | :17:30. | :17:39.
bad. And I am good music. This afternoon, Birmingham's Jacob Banks, | :17:40. | :17:45.
at just 22, the first signed act ever to appear on Radio 1 lhve | :17:46. | :17:49.
Lounge. This is his first Whreless Festival. Amazing. Growing tp I did | :17:50. | :17:54.
not know what festivals werd until I moved to London. It is good. People | :17:55. | :18:03.
will really enjoy it down hdre. There was some disappointment. | :18:04. | :18:10.
Drake, headline act Canadian rapper, had to cancel due to ill`he`lth | :18:11. | :18:13.
Although fans were given ?20 cashback on the tickets. I have | :18:14. | :18:19.
never been to a festival before This is the first one I was | :18:20. | :18:22.
interested because I thought that Drake was going to be here but he is | :18:23. | :18:28.
not. I thought I would come anyway. We came for Drake, but... Aside from | :18:29. | :18:35.
the feel`good factor, the Whreless Festival has another positive | :18:36. | :18:38.
effect. All of the stores are local businesses. With people travelling | :18:39. | :18:41.
from across the country to come here, staying in local hotels, | :18:42. | :18:45.
organisers estimate they ard worth around ?1 million per day to the | :18:46. | :18:51.
local economy. Birmingham's first Wireless Festival, no doubt not its | :18:52. | :18:55.
last. And for the latest travel ndws, if | :18:56. | :18:59.
you are travelling to or trxing to avoid festivals over the wedkend, | :19:00. | :19:04.
you can hear regular updates on the radio. | :19:05. | :19:12.
Look at this. Do you remembdr it? The poster that adorned manx a | :19:13. | :19:17.
bedroom wall in the 1970s and 1 80s, mainly the bedrooms of teen`ge boys | :19:18. | :19:22.
and young men. I certainly had one. It was a female tennis playdr | :19:23. | :19:26.
hitching up her skirt. Modesty forbids me to say any more, but | :19:27. | :19:32.
rather subtle and innocent, don t you think. The dress was handmade by | :19:33. | :19:36.
a schoolgirl in Stourbridge and is now up for auction. | :19:37. | :19:42.
It was made by a 12`year`old tennis playing schoolgirl in 1970s | :19:43. | :19:46.
Stourbridge, and that dress ended up adorning over 2 million posters The | :19:47. | :19:51.
schoolgirl was Carol Knotts, who loaned her dress and racket for a | :19:52. | :19:55.
photo shoot in Birmingham. Only later did she get an eyeful of the | :19:56. | :20:01.
result. Well, I was slightlx surprised by it, I suppose, slightly | :20:02. | :20:04.
embarrassed that my mum might see it. But she is raped pleased it is | :20:05. | :20:11.
not me modelling it. She is now auctioning the dress, racket and her | :20:12. | :20:19.
own 1979 poster. I was quitd young at the time when it came out but it | :20:20. | :20:25.
is an iconic picture. I was just saying to the girls down thdre, if | :20:26. | :20:28.
they looked like that they would wear the dress and would not wear | :20:29. | :20:32.
any knickers. Why have you decided to sell it? It is sitting in a | :20:33. | :20:38.
cupboard doing nothing for le. Nobody can ever take away the fact | :20:39. | :20:42.
that I made it. If I ever gdt asked the question of what is my claim to | :20:43. | :20:46.
fame, I can still say that H made that dress. Before you ask, I am not | :20:47. | :20:52.
going to try to recreate th`t look, but I am wondering who might be in | :20:53. | :20:57.
the market for it. Sports f`ns, nostalgia, and as it is a unique | :20:58. | :21:01.
item you might get some caphtal investment. There is not another | :21:02. | :21:05.
one. It will be willing to rest in but that question will be answered | :21:06. | :21:10.
tomorrow at 11 a.m.. Just enough time for it to be sent to Cdntre | :21:11. | :21:14.
Court for the ladies final `t Wimbledon. Now that would bd cheeky! | :21:15. | :21:22.
I do love tennis. There is lots going on this weekend. Do wd need | :21:23. | :21:28.
suncream or brollies? Definitely brollies and probably a | :21:29. | :21:33.
raincoat. It is a return to the traditional British summer weather. | :21:34. | :21:35.
We have had some rain arrivdd already. It is with us right the way | :21:36. | :21:41.
through to tomorrow. Once that clears away, things will st`rt to | :21:42. | :21:43.
feel cooler. Sunshine and showers is how we | :21:44. | :21:58.
continue the weekend. Eastern parts got pleasant conditions but we have | :21:59. | :22:01.
a band of rain which works hts way in and we'll stick with us through | :22:02. | :22:04.
until tomorrow morning. Somd breaks here and there but we expect up to | :22:05. | :22:09.
ten millimetres overnight. Ht has been dry recently so that is | :22:10. | :22:13.
unlikely to cause problems but there are some heavy pulses in thdre. Also | :22:14. | :22:18.
quite a sticky night with temperatures up to 16 Celsits. | :22:19. | :22:21.
Eventually, the front wheel career. Still some uncertainty as to what | :22:22. | :22:26.
time that will happen. But ht will improve as we head through tomorrow. | :22:27. | :22:30.
Although we wake up with showers, they do `` they do slowly start to | :22:31. | :22:35.
fade. Behind that, the best conditions in the West. Somd good | :22:36. | :22:39.
spells of sunshine to come `t times. In those, it will feel quitd | :22:40. | :22:43.
pleasant. Temperatures back to where we would expect for this tile of | :22:44. | :22:50.
year. Another bad end `` not a bad end to Saturday. But then wd start | :22:51. | :22:55.
to see the showers really dxing out. Overnight, where we get cle`r skies, | :22:56. | :23:00.
we are going to see temperatures falling away. Much more comfortable | :23:01. | :23:06.
tomorrow night. Sunday does not start too badly. The sun is out but | :23:07. | :23:10.
we have showers popping up through the day. At times they could be | :23:11. | :23:15.
heavy and thundery. Temperatures not great but it stays showery `s we | :23:16. | :23:19.
head into the new working wdek, so keep the brollies handy. | :23:20. | :23:26.
Tonight's headlines. Disgraced entertainer Rolf Harris has been | :23:27. | :23:30.
sentenced to five years and nine months for a series of indecent | :23:31. | :23:34.
assault 's online `` young girls. And a family say they have been | :23:35. | :23:38.
denied justice after a death in police custody. | :23:39. | :23:42.
That was the Midlands Today. The 838 tunnels in Birmingham will be closed | :23:43. | :23:46.
from 10pm until six tomorrow morning. The overnight clostres will | :23:47. | :23:51.
be in place for the next two weeks before they are closed completely | :23:52. | :23:56.
for six weeks for restoration work. We are back at 10pm with thd late | :23:57. | :23:59.
news. Have a great weekend. Goodbye. | :24:00. | :24:02. |
