Welcome to North West Tonight with Roger Johnson, and Annabel Tiffin. | :00:11. | :00:13.
The legacy of grooming scandals here, as Lancashire Police tell us | :00:14. | :00:16.

United reaches a new low. Why the North West is getting | :00:43. | :00:48.
a reputation Lancashire Police are receiving | :00:49. | :00:51.
an average of around 25 referrals a week | :00:52. | :01:07.
about concerns over child sdxual The number, more than 1,200 | :01:08. | :01:10.
in the last year, follows yesterday's report into mord than | :01:11. | :01:15.
a decade of abuse in Rotherham. Meanwhile, it's also emerged this | :01:16. | :01:21.
afternoon that the current Chief Executive of Liverpool City Council | :01:22. | :01:23.
was in charge of Rotherham `t the time a report into the scandal | :01:24. | :01:26.
was suppressed and the rese`rcher The scandal on the other side | :01:27. | :01:29.
of the Pennines has echoes of past problems here in thd | :01:30. | :01:36.
North West, but organisations here Yesterday's report follows | :01:37. | :01:38.
a series of high profile cases here The biggest was the sentenchng two | :01:39. | :01:45.
years ago of nine men for a total of 77 years for grooming vulnerable | :01:46. | :01:50.
girls in Rochdale. The men trafficked girls to towns | :01:51. | :01:54.
including Oldham and Nelson, and there have also been cases | :01:55. | :01:58.
in Burnley and Blackpool. Councils, police and other `gencies | :01:59. | :02:02.
are now co`ordinating closely on projects like Sunrise in Rochdale, | :02:03. | :02:07.
Phoenix across Greater Manchester, The Stockport MP, Ann Coffex, is | :02:08. | :02:12.
chairing an inquiry into how child sexual exploitation can be better | :02:13. | :02:18.
prevented across Greater Manchester. This small charity | :02:19. | :02:22.
in Oldham works with young girls They agree a lot | :02:23. | :02:27.
of progress has been made, One of the barriers we have had to | :02:28. | :02:46.
overcome is the stigma attached to sign `` child sexual exploitation. | :02:47. | :02:50.
Modi wants to have that problem All young people by virtue of their age | :02:51. | :02:56.
have no relationship experidnce And they need that support and guidance | :02:57. | :02:57.
and education. The Rotherham report highlighted a | :02:58. | :03:03.
reluctance to engage the Pakistani Here in the north west, Polhce have | :03:04. | :03:05.
been talking to key industrhes like taxi firms and takeawax owners | :03:06. | :03:09.
raise awareness of the issud. Again, the feeling among calpaigners | :03:10. | :03:12.
is that things are much improved. Community groups, faith grotps, | :03:13. | :03:25.
youth groups, schools, everxbody has a part to play in this. And we all | :03:26. | :03:28.
need to be more vigilant and take our duty and care seriously, which I | :03:29. | :03:34.
don't doubt people do. Meanwhile, it's now emerged that a | :03:35. | :03:38.
former chief executive of Rotherham borough council during the cover`up | :03:39. | :03:40.
of child sexual exploitation is the current chief executive of Liverpool | :03:41. | :03:43.
City Council, Ged Fitzgerald. It's understood that Mr Fitzgerald | :03:44. | :03:45.
is on holiday, and no one from With us | :03:46. | :03:48.
in the studio now is Mohammdd Shafiq Thank you for coming in. We have | :03:49. | :04:07.
heard progress has been madd in Rochdale. What is your view? I | :04:08. | :04:13.
always believed that Rochdale was a catalyst for change. The molent when | :04:14. | :04:16.
people woke up to the reality of these crimes, I have been speaking | :04:17. | :04:22.
out since 2007, and I was accused of doing the work of the far rhght but | :04:23. | :04:27.
now we know this has gone on. The systems and institutions th`t were | :04:28. | :04:30.
there to protect children h`d failed. And all of those with | :04:31. | :04:34.
responsibility should resign which is why I think the Chief Exdcutive | :04:35. | :04:37.
of Liverpool City Council should consider his position as well. There | :04:38. | :04:43.
was also the issue of racisl brought up in the Rotherham report which | :04:44. | :04:47.
also raised its head in Rochdale as one of the reasons that the abuse | :04:48. | :04:52.
wasn't exposed earlier. Do xou think there's still a problem now in | :04:53. | :04:57.
institutions? No, I don't. @s you referred to it in the report, there | :04:58. | :05:01.
is a number of instances whdre the council and the police in | :05:02. | :05:05.
partnership have worked togdther in Rochdale, running awareness sessions | :05:06. | :05:10.
in child sexual exploitation is There are activities going on in | :05:11. | :05:14.
schools for teenage children. So the lessons are being learned, `nd there | :05:15. | :05:18.
is more partnership with thd projects. We are never complacent, | :05:19. | :05:22.
we must do more, but there hs an element that thinks that whhte girls | :05:23. | :05:29.
are worthless. This is the same position since 2007. Becausd they | :05:30. | :05:33.
are white, they are able to use them. So, there are still pdople | :05:34. | :05:37.
with those thoughts and atthtudes in Rochdale? Yes. So, is there any | :05:38. | :05:47.
abuse at the moment? There `re some investigation is ongoing in | :05:48. | :05:50.
Manchester. We will have to see what happens there. | :05:51. | :05:52.
Now, to a 30 year plan that'll avoid massive overcrowding on Merseyside's | :05:53. | :05:55.
trains and bring huge econolic benefits to the whole region. | :05:56. | :05:57.
Mersey travel has published proposals that could mean more | :05:58. | :06:02.
stations, modern trains and better services | :06:03. | :06:04.
for commuters in Merseyside, Cheshire and West Lancashird. | :06:05. | :06:07.
They could be given the gredn light as early as next month. | :06:08. | :06:10.
Another busy day on Liverpool's underground. | :06:11. | :06:17.
And it's only going to get busier according to Merseytravel, | :06:18. | :06:19.
which oversees Merseyside's public transport. | :06:20. | :06:27.
By 2043, if we did nothing, most of our network would be over 160% over | :06:28. | :06:34.
capacity, so we are talking hundreds of thousands of extra passengers. | :06:35. | :06:37.
There are 12 main points to Merseytravel's 30 year plan. | :06:38. | :06:39.
Amongst them, a new station serving the centre of Liverpool, | :06:40. | :06:42.
As the growth is increasing, anything that persuades people to | :06:43. | :06:54.
use public transport rather than car is very good. I think it will bring | :06:55. | :06:56.
a lot of investment. We need that. With the prospect of high speed rail | :06:57. | :07:00.
arriving in the region, Merseytravel wants to electrify rail | :07:01. | :07:02.
routes between Merseyside It also wants to extend Merseyrail | :07:03. | :07:04.
services to John Lennon Airport And build entirely new stathons | :07:05. | :07:09.
at point across the network, It is home to 40,000 people but it | :07:10. | :07:26.
is connected to the railway network. Under the new proposals, it would | :07:27. | :07:31.
get railway station. Long overdue, according to some. It could do with | :07:32. | :07:36.
one. It is mayhem if you want to go anywhere. Because the popul`tion has | :07:37. | :07:41.
grown so much, there is too much transport on the road. I wanted | :07:42. | :07:43.
Everybody wants it. West Lancashire Borogh Council's | :07:44. | :07:46.
already on board. It is the second`biggest town that | :07:47. | :07:53.
doesn't have a railway stathon and is essential to the prosperhty and | :07:54. | :07:56.
The 30 year plan prosperity and future prosperity of the town. goes | :07:57. | :08:00.
Combined Authority on the 18th of next month. | :08:01. | :08:05.
An inquest has heard an eight`year`old boy from Oldham | :08:06. | :08:08.
died from an asthma attack after a 999 call was wronglx | :08:09. | :08:10.
categorised by an operator `t the North West Ambulance Service. | :08:11. | :08:15.
Clayton Barker began struggling for breath at his grandmothdr's | :08:16. | :08:18.
But the 999 call operator thought the emergency was less serious | :08:19. | :08:23.
than it was, so the next wahting ambulance was sent elsewherd. | :08:24. | :08:29.
A murder investigation's been launched in Heywood. | :08:30. | :08:32.
A woman, believed to be in her 0s, was found dead at a propertx | :08:33. | :08:35.
Her body's believed to have been there for more than a month. | :08:36. | :08:40.
A three`year`old boy's been found riding, alone, | :08:41. | :08:49.
It's thought the toddler may have travelled | :08:50. | :08:52.
from Droylsden, almost five miles, away after apparently getting onto | :08:53. | :08:55.
The child's mother is due to be spoken to by the police | :08:56. | :08:59.
The Westmorland and Lonsdald MP Tim Farron is calling for an independent | :09:00. | :09:07.
review into the regional fire control centre at Warrington. | :09:08. | :09:09.
He's described it as a "white elephant" after reports a | :09:10. | :09:11.
crew from Carlisle was calldd out to a fire near Bolton. | :09:12. | :09:14.
But the Fire Service says no engine was ever sent, and the | :09:15. | :09:17.
Salford's Mayor says he has no regrets about committing more than | :09:18. | :09:28.
?160,000 to help a rugby cltb while making huge budget cuts. | :09:29. | :09:31.
And Ian Stewart has defended his decision to fast track ` | :09:32. | :09:34.
redundancy payment for the council official who brokered the ddal. | :09:35. | :09:37.
That officer then went on to work for the club. | :09:38. | :09:41.
Councillors have today been considering an auditor's report | :09:42. | :09:44.
which concluded the Mayor dhd nothing wrong, but recommended | :09:45. | :09:46.
changes to the rules governhng pay offs for top officials. | :09:47. | :09:49.
Our Chief Reporter, Dave Gudst, has the story. | :09:50. | :09:53.
Martin Vickers was the council officer who drew up a deal to help | :09:54. | :09:57.
It involved the authority agreeing to mdet | :09:58. | :10:00.
the club's match day costs tp to a total of ?164,000 for 2013/14 | :10:01. | :10:07.
Salford's Mayor Ian Stewart sanctioned the deal. | :10:08. | :10:11.
The Mayor also agreed that Mr Vickers could take voluntary | :10:12. | :10:16.
redundancy from the council weeks later. | :10:17. | :10:20.
Mr Vickers then went to work for the rugby club. | :10:21. | :10:24.
Councillors today endorsed a report which recommended | :10:25. | :10:26.
tightening the rules governhng pay outs to top officials. | :10:27. | :10:34.
The mayor says that he didn't know Mr Vickers was going to work for the | :10:35. | :10:39.
red Devils. The lack of a formal record of | :10:40. | :10:40.
the rugby club deal was described as a failing, but the report concluded | :10:41. | :10:44.
the Mayor had done nothing wrong. The system allows the electdd mayor | :10:45. | :10:51.
to make the decision. That hs correct. I gave strong leaddrship, | :10:52. | :10:55.
and made, in my view, the rhght decision. So why do is you decide to | :10:56. | :11:01.
commit so much money to a rtgby club at a time when your council is | :11:02. | :11:06.
making widespread cuts? The money is used for investment in the rugby | :11:07. | :11:11.
club and the rugby stadium `re actually capital money. You cannot | :11:12. | :11:14.
use capital money for front line services. | :11:15. | :11:17.
Salford Council part owns the stadium where the Red Devils play. | :11:18. | :11:19.
The Mayor says securing the future for their main tdnants | :11:20. | :11:22.
Turning to the severance de`l, Mr Vickers applied for it, and the | :11:23. | :11:34.
money was there in his accotnt within a couple of days. If | :11:35. | :11:38.
unemployed has extenuating circumstances, they can apply to | :11:39. | :11:42.
receive their money early. So if it was a dinner lady or a bin lan. . | :11:43. | :11:49.
Exactly the same. Do you regret any decisions you've made? I believe I | :11:50. | :11:53.
gave strong, sound leadershhp, I'd do the same again, and I will | :11:54. | :11:58.
continue to do so for as long as I am in this post. | :11:59. | :12:00.
I am not shocked. Is Manchester United's manager the only one not | :12:01. | :12:12.
taken aback by their latest humiliation? The north`west is now | :12:13. | :12:16.
home not only to the best rdstaurant in the country but also this place, | :12:17. | :12:21.
the best pub. I'll find out what makes the region such a draw when it | :12:22. | :12:33.
comes to drinking and dining. Is that not the best job of thd night? | :12:34. | :12:38.
I wouldn't mind spending my time in the pub. But you would rathdr be | :12:39. | :12:40.
here doing the sport. Manchester United fans will be | :12:41. | :12:47.
wondering just what happened And it does leave you scratching | :12:48. | :12:49.
your head at just how a League One team put together | :12:50. | :12:54.
for less than half a million pounds That's less than two weeks wages | :12:55. | :12:57.
for Wayne Rooney and when you think that, United have just splashed out | :12:58. | :13:04.
?59.7 million on Angel Di M`ria it Having said that the Capitol One Cup | :13:05. | :13:10.
isn't a priority for United and it was far | :13:11. | :13:16.
from their first choice lind`up But it was still a team with several | :13:17. | :13:18.
established internationals on show. And it may well have left ndw boss | :13:19. | :13:22.
Louis Van Gaal with Louis van Gaal, | :13:23. | :13:25.
one of football's note`takers, will have had some rather unpleasant | :13:26. | :13:31.
bedtime reading last night. If his Manchester United nedded | :13:32. | :13:35.
a wake`up call, surely this was it. But it is only the start | :13:36. | :13:40.
of the season. For such a young squad out hn pretty | :13:41. | :13:44.
much a major cup, it's disgraceful. Van Gaal put up a couple | :13:45. | :13:51.
of youngsters but his starting line`up also | :13:52. | :13:57.
contained five players with over 100 One of them, Jonny Evans, | :13:58. | :14:00.
gifted the opener. The second also came from United | :14:01. | :14:05.
giving the ball away. This excellent improvised fhnished | :14:06. | :14:08.
giving David de Gea no chance. MK Dons took further advant`ge of | :14:09. | :14:15.
United mistakes to score a third. We have made the biggest errors | :14:16. | :14:19.
in building up situations. And when we do that, | :14:20. | :14:25.
you give always... A performance that will not | :14:26. | :14:30.
have impressed new star He has, though, | :14:31. | :14:34.
been impressed by United's fans I'm very happy with the fans | :14:35. | :14:39.
from Manchester United and I have received many messages, | :14:40. | :14:41.
particular my wife. His arrival takes United's transfer | :14:42. | :14:45.
spending in 2014 to around ?170 And on last night's showing, | :14:46. | :14:53.
his signing is unlikely to be Plenty for Louis Van Gaal to think | :14:54. | :15:15.
about after a less than impressive Now if you're a United fan, | :15:16. | :15:22.
you'll probably know it's Red Wednesday on BBC Radio | :15:23. | :15:26.
Manchester with former striker I caught up with him just | :15:27. | :15:28.
before he went on air and asked him first of all how long the rdbuilding | :15:29. | :15:34.
process is likely to take? It won't take a season, it light | :15:35. | :15:47.
take a year, maybe more. It has happened where he has been before. | :15:48. | :15:54.
He has had to get his way of playing into the players. And... I lean he | :15:55. | :16:02.
knows what he wants, but it is just getting the players to actu`lly do | :16:03. | :16:08.
what he wants. You think he has been shocked by the depth of the problems | :16:09. | :16:13.
he has to solve? I think he might be because, you know, the squad, I | :16:14. | :16:19.
think... Needed bolstering. We knew that from after last season. They've | :16:20. | :16:23.
done that. I don't think thdy can have a go at the glaziers to say | :16:24. | :16:27.
they haven't spent the monex because they have, especially with ` Geordie | :16:28. | :16:31.
Maria coming in. So now it hs about the coach getting one or two more | :16:32. | :16:40.
in. That is what he would love to do before the transfer window closes. | :16:41. | :16:44.
And then moulding those plaxers into the players we have got. Whdn you | :16:45. | :16:49.
look at the problem is eviddnt in the team, how much does that | :16:50. | :16:55.
exonerate David Moyes? It illustrates the problems were there | :16:56. | :17:02.
before David Moyes came in. The hierarchy didn't think he w`s going | :17:03. | :17:07.
to get the chance to change that around. They thought the signs were | :17:08. | :17:12.
bad. Unfortunately, they felt that David had to be fired. How luch do | :17:13. | :17:16.
you think the signing of Angel di Maria could be a spark for the whole | :17:17. | :17:21.
season? He is a magnificent player with pace, he can cross the ball, he | :17:22. | :17:28.
can get shots around, and hd has a range of passing as well. I think he | :17:29. | :17:30.
will be a very big player. In the other Capital One Cup | :17:31. | :17:33.
matches, it was also a bad night for our | :17:34. | :17:35.
other Premier League team Btrnley who lost at home to Championship | :17:36. | :17:38.
side Sheffield Wednesday. Preston were knocked out | :17:39. | :17:40.
by Middlesborough. But it took extra time | :17:41. | :17:42.
and two goals from Jermain Beckford With the score at 1`1, Beckford | :17:43. | :17:44.
thought he'd volleyed in thd winner in the 98th minute but seconds later | :17:45. | :17:49.
Marcus Haber made in 2`2 to send Beckford finally scrambled | :17:50. | :17:52.
in the winner for a 3`2 win. And you can see highlights | :17:53. | :18:03.
of those matches on the Football Samuel Eto'o will give Everton | :18:04. | :18:06.
an unpredictable "fear factor" according to lanager | :18:07. | :18:11.
Roberto Martinez. The 33`year`old Cameroon striker, | :18:12. | :18:16.
who was a free agent after being released by Chelsea | :18:17. | :18:18.
has signed a two`year contr`ct with Martinez could hand Eto'o hhs debut | :18:19. | :18:21.
against his former club on Saturday. When you see him in the teal as | :18:22. | :18:38.
opposing manager, you know he is unpredictable, the unpredictable | :18:39. | :18:40.
play he has, that fear factor that you want. It is an interesthng | :18:41. | :18:44.
thing. Manx cyclist Mark Cavendish got | :18:45. | :18:46.
his first win since dislocating his shoulder during a crash in Harrogate | :18:47. | :18:49.
during the Tour de France. The 29`year`old completed the 1 2 | :18:50. | :18:52.
kilometre stage one of the Tour de Poitou`Charentes through La Ronde | :18:53. | :18:55.
in France with a sprint finhsh. It was his 10th victory | :18:56. | :18:59.
of the season. And there is a silver lining | :19:00. | :19:08.
for one Manchester United f`n. Holly Griffiths from Cheshire got | :19:09. | :19:15.
a free bet with a bookie and thought she'd put ?2.50 on the | :19:16. | :19:17.
Reds to win 4`0 against MK Dons But it seems she filled | :19:18. | :19:21.
in the form incorrectly and had With odds of 500 to one, | :19:22. | :19:23.
she pocketed ?1,250. Congratulations to her! One I make a | :19:24. | :19:36.
mistake, it costs me money. That will have sweetened it for her. | :19:37. | :19:38.
Thank you. We We often hear | :19:39. | :19:45.
about people waiting for vital organ transplants, but a new TV programme | :19:46. | :19:47.
filmed on Merseyside is hophng to show viewers that you're far more | :19:48. | :19:50.
likely to be able to help someone It follows the team of men | :19:51. | :19:53.
and women who work at the It's not something people often want | :19:54. | :19:58.
to think about, but the two`part series shows how donations of skin | :19:59. | :20:02.
and bone from the dead are crucial The Human Tissue Squad follows | :20:03. | :20:05.
a group of ordinary young pdople from Merseyside, | :20:06. | :20:09.
who play an extraordinary role often skin is one of the most in | :20:10. | :20:11.
demand tissues the team takd... It shows the demanding work done | :20:12. | :20:17.
by the team based in Speke, and the camararderie needed to get through | :20:18. | :20:20.
the emotional challenges it creates. Standing in a more jury at 2am, when | :20:21. | :20:30.
it is not actually for the greater good, you wouldn't want to do it, | :20:31. | :20:34.
the motivation wouldn't be there, so I still get that massive sense of | :20:35. | :20:36.
achievement after every retrieval. The team hope this will makd more | :20:37. | :20:38.
people aware that by agreeing to donate tissud | :20:39. | :20:41.
after death, one person can help or This is the only tissue bank in | :20:42. | :20:44.
the UK that's involved in the whole process, from initial donor referral | :20:45. | :20:48.
through to the hospitals who use it It'll be something that thehr | :20:49. | :21:02.
parents can consent to when they have passed away. It will bd | :21:03. | :21:07.
referred to the centre, and then I will go out and coordinates the | :21:08. | :21:11.
donation, so physically removing the tissue from that patient so it can | :21:12. | :21:16.
be shipped out as a graft. We will try to get some donated skin. | :21:17. | :21:19.
The programme also features some of those whose lives are ch`nged | :21:20. | :21:22.
I hope it escalates tissue donations to the wider public and givds them | :21:23. | :21:30.
more information because thd idea is the information is out therd for | :21:31. | :21:34.
them to make their own choices, and hopefully make an informed choice of | :21:35. | :21:37.
whether or not they want to become a donor in the future. | :21:38. | :21:38.
The programme will be broadcast on BBC Three next Monday at 9pm | :21:39. | :21:47.
Just occasionally, we get a bit of a jealous pang for our colleagues who | :21:48. | :22:01.
get to do something really good The second year running, the Northwest | :22:02. | :22:05.
is officially home to the bdst restaurant in the country and mouth | :22:06. | :22:08.
for the first time, the best pub as well. L'Enclume has taken the | :22:09. | :22:24.
restaurant prize and our reporter is it was well. What are they serving | :22:25. | :22:31.
up in the pub tonight? Welcome to the Freemasons, the best | :22:32. | :22:34.
pub in the country officially according to the good food guide. | :22:35. | :22:38.
This isn't any place getting accolades because the best | :22:39. | :22:43.
restaurant in the country is Simon Rogan's place in Cumbria. That is | :22:44. | :22:46.
where I have spent the day finding out what the secret is to their | :22:47. | :22:51.
success. There is a noticeable lack of | :22:52. | :22:54.
swearing in the kitchen at L'Enclume. It is calm. Everxthing is | :22:55. | :23:00.
precise. And, for the second year in a row, it is the best restatrant in | :23:01. | :23:04.
Britain. Is there still that stereotype that all you get in the | :23:05. | :23:08.
North as pies and if you want good food you've got to go to London It | :23:09. | :23:14.
can be at times. I think, though, that there is so many good | :23:15. | :23:17.
restaurants in the area, in Cumbria itself, and food producers, that is | :23:18. | :23:24.
on the decline now. I think, hopefully, we have shrugged that | :23:25. | :23:29.
off. With the award is stacking up, it's not just the restaurant itself | :23:30. | :23:32.
feeling the benefits. Locals will tell you that they now have their | :23:33. | :23:38.
own micro`economy, key to bringing in visitors. We have a brewdry, | :23:39. | :23:44.
bread shop, wine shop, cheese shop. And all of that is something else. | :23:45. | :23:50.
And it is brilliant. The village is getting a reputation for behng a | :23:51. | :23:54.
foodie place. And people ardn't only buying food while they are here | :23:55. | :23:59.
Steve set up shop a long daxs `` set up a shop a Kopelev shops down from | :24:00. | :24:08.
L'Enclume because of the tr`de. The clientele are the kind that will | :24:09. | :24:13.
spend the money. They get a nice restaurant experience and then they | :24:14. | :24:19.
come here. People come, people eat, and people people spend. Thhs is the | :24:20. | :24:28.
go`to place for good food and fine dining. | :24:29. | :24:32.
That is the restaurant side of things. After the eating coles the | :24:33. | :24:36.
drinking and so we find ourselves at the bar. This is Steven Smith who | :24:37. | :24:41.
owns the Freemasons. You must be so pleased to be the best pub hn the | :24:42. | :24:45.
country. Over the moon, supdrb. What's the secret of your stccess? | :24:46. | :24:51.
You took it over five years ago how have you made it work? Take each day | :24:52. | :24:57.
as it comes, being personable, never let things be too much trouble for | :24:58. | :25:02.
our customers. If we can do it, we will do it for you. And makhng sure | :25:03. | :25:08.
that we keep the pub in it. People were saying that has become an area | :25:09. | :25:12.
known for local produce and good food, is it the same thing here It | :25:13. | :25:20.
is similar. The Northwest, `cross the board, produce is fantastic The | :25:21. | :25:25.
Ribble Valley has a fantasthc reputation already, which m`kes it | :25:26. | :25:30.
easier for us to start up and hopefully, enhance that repttation. | :25:31. | :25:35.
Some people might think the guide is a bit elitist, the places are | :25:36. | :25:39.
expensive, is that your takd on it? Definitely not. I mean, obvhously, | :25:40. | :25:47.
we have three courses for ?05, fantastic value for money. @nd there | :25:48. | :25:52.
is something for everybody there. Thank you very much, and | :25:53. | :25:56.
congratulations. Now my work is over and so I will leave you to think on | :25:57. | :26:00.
that. I wonder what she's going to do The | :26:01. | :26:06.
Northwest is the best place to eat, than! Except for my microwave meal | :26:07. | :26:07.
tonight. Weather`wise today, it was just | :26:08. | :26:17.
lovely. Tomorrow, a day of two halves, staying dry, but thd | :26:18. | :26:21.
rain`bob will turn up in thd afternoon. Tonight, a band of | :26:22. | :26:25.
rain`bob to the south`west of us. And then it pushes its way hn. Once | :26:26. | :26:31.
the sun comes in, by midnight you will see it. You will see it as it | :26:32. | :26:36.
rises over the high ground with heavy burst of rain from tile to | :26:37. | :26:41.
time. There's a few good thhngs about it, the cloud cover associated | :26:42. | :26:45.
with it keeps the temperatures up. The other good news is it is a | :26:46. | :26:51.
fairly narrow band. Tomorrow, temperatures, 13, 14, 15, and the | :26:52. | :26:59.
morning isn't too bad. That rain and drizzle might continue for the first | :27:00. | :27:03.
hours but through the morning on a brighter and drier skies. Don't be | :27:04. | :27:08.
full sway you set out thinkhng that weather will last all day bdcause | :27:09. | :27:12.
that is the next line of rahn, moving in after lunch. It moves | :27:13. | :27:16.
across the region, falling `part in many places, so not everywhdre will | :27:17. | :27:26.
be wet. By tea`time, brightdr skies. Temperatures, around 19. It doesn't | :27:27. | :27:32.
feel too bad. There will be arraigned sandwich, we | :27:33. | :27:39.
could put that on the menu! `` there will be a rain sandwich. | :27:40. | :27:56.
You asked for it. You got it. SHRILL WHISTLE | :27:57. | :27:59.
I promise not to take off all my clothes. | :28:00. | :28:02.
I'm going up in the world, babes, and from today, | :28:03. | :28:05.
one can't sack someone for going, "Bleuh-huh-huh-huh" | :28:06. | :28:11.
I'm going to teach you a lesson, Churchy. | :28:12. | :28:16.
Where's your shoe? It's in the car. I'll get it later. | :28:17. | :28:19.
Big School returns for a new term. Oh, ha-ha-ha-ha! | :28:20. | :28:27.
Old friends John Thomson and Simon Day | :28:28. | :28:29.
