Good evening. Armed police have arrested a man in east Kent found

brandishing a sword. Officers were called to Margate before 2.00pm The

man suffered minor injuries, trying to access a ground floor property.

He has been arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon. A

man has been arrested in High Street. The victim was walkhng alone

Green Lane when she was att`cked. A 30`year`old man from High Street is

being questioned by the polhce. A protest has taken place in

Eastbourne against the badgdr culling trials. It comes in the week

that scientific research th`t was released that suggested that the

mass cull of badgers, was the way to end the problem. It is costhng

farmers millions of pounds to tackle the problem of T B in cattld. But

here, the demonstrators said that the solution was not the culling of

badgers. Saying that the vidws were backed up by research `` research.

Suggesting that the badgers are just a small part of the problem.

We are forgetting where the problem lies, what they are saying hs that

we must improve T B testing, control measures and depopulation of herds.

Where you get an individual outbreak of T B, consider removing the heard

to stop the spread of the dhsease. However it was said that thhs still

does not investigate the full range of way in which T B is spre`d. One

father`in`law thinks that the vaccination of badgers and livestock

could help but this is not possible yet.
