A policeman has been seriously injured

after a man he was attempting to stop, ran him over and drove off.

It happened last night outside a pub in Larkfield, near Maidstone.

If it was at Daniel's funeral. Everyone was aware of this

donation. But one person did say to me, there could not have been much

of Daniel left. That took me aback slightly. But thinking about that, I

said to him, no, Daniel is out there in six other people I know of, to

assist their life is not save it. His was a life cut short at just

29. The young chef was about to propose to his girlfriend, but his

sudden death helped others to live on after his heart, lungs, liver,

kidney and pancreas were all transplanted to others. His mother,

Glynis, has received a letter anonymously from one of the

recipients who is being kept alive by one of Daniel's organs.

I would say I am so pleased their life has been saved. My son was a

wonderful, wonderful young man. This is what he would want.

She hopes that his example encourages others to join the organ

donor list, and says she is so proud of him and his posthumous award.

At the Commonwealth Games today, 27`year`old Charlotte Kerwood

from Fletchling took gold in the double trap shooting event.

It's the 4th Commonwealth gold for the Sussex shooter,

who won her first medal at the games aged just 15.

Now the weather: believing, we have seen some pretty heavy showers

around, and there are more on the way. The risk of some torrential
