begins this weekend. The Green Party MP Caroline Lucas has been cleared

of public order offences following her arrest during an anti`fracking

protests in the West Sussex village of Balcombe last summer. Speaking

after the verdict, the Brighton MP said "oppressive policing" was

eroding the right to protest. Sussex Police say the force had faced a

difficult balancing act in policing the demonstrations. Jon Hunt

reports. The not guilty anti`fracking demonstrators, leaving

court to cheers and applause. Caroline Lucas says today's

judgement is not the cause for celebration. Protest is the

lifeblood of democracy. We are deeply concerned that the right to

protest has been undermined by oppressive policing in an attempt to

silence dissent. Caroline Lucas was arrested last August when she linked

arms with demonstrators and sat in the road. The town's case was that

she had breached restrictions on where protesters could assemble but

the district judge ruled none of them were made away of the

restrictions and was not a wilful obstruction of the highway. The

defendants are now considering a complaint to Sussex Police. It is

too early to say what action we might take but I felt the policing

on the day was disproportionate and unnecessary. It was an entirely

peaceful protest and we had every right to be there. The police said

their priority in the operation was safety. The say they worked with all

sides to enable them to meet their peaceful and lawful objectives,

whether the today commercial activities or protest. The actions

of Caroline Lucas have drawn praise and criticism. It is great she is

getting involved in an actual issue in her constituency. I do not think

as the member of Parliament she should have gone in there. That is

what MPs are for. Sussex Police say the policing involved a difficult

balancing act. The ports mouth man has been banned from driving for one

year after using his wife's disabled parking badge to park illegally in

the city. Proposals to build 75 luxury holiday chalets in woodlands

in the South Downs National have alarmed people living near the site.

It has been backed by the Forestry Commission which says it would

provide a boost to the local economy. Residents say it would

increase traffic and ruined a peaceful setting. A tranquil corner

of the West Sussex countryside but with plans to build a holiday

village of up to 75 wouldn't cabins, locals bear the peaceful

melody of birdsong could be a thing of the past. What is the commercial

company doing building a rational development using what we thought

was the protected public asset? It is a joint venture with the Forestry

Commission. The say they want to see more people benefiting and enjoying

woods and forests. There would be less than one cabin per acre of land

and they would still keep full public access. There has not yet

been a planning application but the authority say that if and when they

do it will be open to a school consultation. It is a beautiful

forest, I do not think it is necessary. Forests like this are few

and far between. The traffic will be terrible. Developers say cabin like

these could each bring ?24,000 to the Sussex economy every year but

locals worried the riches of the countryside are being neglected to

biggest increase in the number of people in Berkshire getting scarlet

fever in seven years. Scarlet fever is a bacterial illness that causes a

distinctive pink`red rash. 150 patients have been diagnosed so far

authorities have stressed that they will not go on outbreak alert. An

operation is underway to protect Dorset woodland from damage

including the risk of arson. Last year there were 111 fires. Operation

heathland involves high visibility patrols and public education

from the countryside. This week he's in Dorset with tales of lions, snow

leopards, and chalk streams. Roger's linked up with one of the world's

top wildlife cameramen ` Hugh Miles. After a long career filming all over

the planet, Hugh has settled near Wimborne, where he's fallen in love

with the River Allen and the wide variety of creatures that live in

it. The source of the river Allen, near the village of Monkton up

Wimborne. It flows for just 13 miles and one man has come to know every

inch of it. Hugh Miles has just made a film about the Allen with the

title, Liquid Gold. Pure fresh water, more valuable than gold, we

can live without gold but they would die without water. This is

Britain's only native freshwater crayfish and the River Allen is one

of its most important refuges. Hugh has a particular passion for fish,

but his career as a cameraman took off with much larger prey. In the

1970s he joined the team on David Attenborough's Life on Earth. We

went to Africa to film a lion hunt. They had tried twice already to get

the successful lion hunt but we kneeled it big time. Got a double

kill in one day. It was a great start to my career. The lionesses

have time to select their pre`. `` pray. That is the beast. That is the

one that filmed the Lions? Yes, I think I am rusty than the camera is.

The advantage of the wooden tripod is it can be camouflaged unlike the

modern ones. There was often a risk in getting this close. I have been

lucky. I have had two new hips replaced as a result of chasing snow

leopards up in the mountains. It must be different here in Dorset. I

goal I have lived here 30 years. Right on my doorstep it is full of

wildlife. Trying to make a difference to get people to

understand how nature works and what is important about nature. We head

down the river We head off down the river to where it flows into the

town of Wimborne. And we quickly discover the damage left by this

winter's floods. There will be a lot more weed growth which means more

insect life and that is good for fish. I goal what makes this river

special for you? It is the chalk stream and there are only 160 in

Europe. England only has 5% and this is one of the best examples of all.

Hugh is a big supporter of the Dorset Wildlife Trust which is

working to maintain the river. Because the river Allen is

vulnerable. Dorset wildlife trust have plans to enhance this habitat.

We need to be allowed to do more to improve the habitat for wildlife,

the insects, the fish life and then the waters and birds along the

river. It is becoming increasingly important for the community and my

hope is that we will win the battle and this River will continue to

thrive for many years to come. Like macro that was so beautifully shot

special event in Worthing will bring together one of the largest retro

collections in the world. Caroline and I got to grips with one of the

pinball machines earlier and you can see how we got on in a moment.

First, Chrissy Sturt has been to meet the event organiser. The 1980s

and games go electronic. New and cool, this was the species we to pet

man against machine, boy against boy and girl against girl. What was once

cool soon became dated and forgotten but some never do out of these games

and suddenly they are vintage and valuable. This is the defender made

in 1980 it is regarded as one of the all`time greatest video games. It is

super hard and had its own dedicated control panel. The artwork itself is

also really iconic. Anyone who knows their stuff will instantly recognise

Defender. This man's home is a shrine to the arcade and all the

family are hooked. It is something I have had to get used to. For the

seven years we have been together they have been gradually coming more

and more into the house and I am just used to it now. Will has even

got his own mini arcade devoted to pinball. I'd macro the intensity on

your face is really something. It is really an intense game. When you are

in the zone you are connecting to the machine. When you play a really

good game it is great when the machine starts flashing at you. How

do you stop it completely taking over the house? We had the rule

there would not be any more than six pinball machines. I think we have

four. He has been convinced to keep another two machines in the house.

Is this a hobby or an obsession? More of an obsession. I go to bed

thinking about them. And you have an understanding wife? Yellow macro she

machines or a partner sympathetic enough to let you buy one, these

days you can go online and download any of the classic games, and play

them for free. But small does not work for everyone. I have the dream

of an arcade at the bottom of the garden. Jessica would be happy as

to build a really super cool arcade. Have a there fridge and live there
