Good evening, I'm David Allard, with the news in the South. The husband

of the Bournemouth nurse whose body was found in a car on Friday night

has been charged with her murder. Rui Lee, who was 44 and hadn't been

seen for more than a week, was reported missing on Tuesday. Her

husband, Pierre Legris, who's 60, was detained after her body was

discovered in a silver Fiat Punto on Verwood Crescent. He will appear

before Bournemouth Magistrates tomorrow. A 26`year`old man remains

in custody after police were granted extra time to question him.

A 43`year`old man died last night when his car hit a tree

and telegraph pole on the Hampshire`Surrey border.

No other vehicle was involved in the accident,

which happened on the B3002 between Grayshott and Headley Down.

Police across the South began their summer drink`driving campaigns this

morning, targeting motorists still over the limit from the night

before. There's particular concern this year that late`night World Cup

Hundreds of bird`watching enthusiasts, or twitchers, descended

on Dorset overnight. It followed the sighting of a rare short`toed eagle

in Wareham Forest. It's said to be only the third time the bird has

been seen in Britain. It's not every Sunday a stroll through Wareham

Forest ends with a view like this. And this is what they are all hoping

to see. The short`toed eagle. Only spotted twice in Britain before, and

they were only brief flypasts. Paul Morton was taking a guided walk

yesterday when he made the discovery. The message went out

online. And hundreds of bird`watchers descended on the site.

We have been here for two days now. There are plenty of snakes of

varying species. The fact it has been here for two days now, what is

a decent habitat, there is nothing to say that it would not be there

for next few days. At dawn there were 450 people here to see the

Eagle and they have continued to arrive from throughout the country.

It is a good bird, a rear bird, and it is worthwhile coming to see.

There have been a couple seen before, but they are hard to find

because generally be just flyover. This one has been around this area

for a few days. Let us hope that the cost is around a bit longer.

Hello. Most of us have enjoyed at least one day of lovely weather this

weekend. That weather will be harder to come by this week. It has been up

and down. Yes, rain or showers at times. Drier, sunny weather, turning

cooler. Signs are that by the end of the week temperatures will recover.

We have seen rain today in Glasgow, Edinburgh, western fringes of the UK

too. The cloud will spread east overnight, with further outbreaks of

rain into the west. Temperatures are in double figures as Monday begins.
