Tributes have been paid to a Southampton couple

who were killed in a coach crash while on holiday in India.

Roopesh and Kavita Nawarkhele were travelling with their young daughter

to visit family and friends, when the accident happened

early on Saturday in the Punjab region.

Their daughter has been takdn to hospital with serious injuries.

Mr Nawarkhele worked for Sotthampton City Council in children's services.

Today, a friend who was due to pick the family up later thhs week

described the couple as being "very active" in the local communhty.

A very lively family which love life to the extent and very family

centric. They were very dedhcated towards their only daughter. The

intention of coming to the TK was basically to get and give a better

life for their daughter. An after`school club in Oxfordshire

for children with learning difficulties has

hit back at education inspectors about claims it failed to rdport

an allegation of abuse. Guideposts Holiday Club in @bingdon

was rated inadequate by Ofsted Managers say all relevant agencies

were informed about the alldgation but Ofsted wasn't told

due to an "administrative error . The Trust that ran it

says it intends to challengd some other aspects

of the inspection report. marches, legal battles

and a public inquiry all focused on fighting plans

to put up a mobile phone mast in a Winchester street, but the

mobile phone company, Orangd, won. the mast has been removed,

as it's no longer needed. Its departure got a lot less

attention than when it arrived. First, they went around the back.

We do not want it! The mast has now gone. Not a battle won but

technology moving on. When they came up the road on Saturday, it took me

back to when they came up the road with the police to put the last up.

It was great to see it coming down. It was great to see them cut it up.

I am sad my husband is not here to see it because he put a hell of a

lot into the campaign, cert`inly in the early days. He would have been

thrilled to think that it h`d finally gone.

The Wellies And Wristbands Festival is organised by Girlguiding

It's designed to give girls as young as ten

Over the weekend, thousands camped, tried all sorts of activitids

It is just like going to Glastonbury, just not as lotd. You

can go wherever you want and you don't have to have any restrictions.

You are camping in the freezing cold and you have all of the mushc. I

enjoyed setting up the tents because I have not done it before, ht is my

first time. It's been a bank holiday washout

after heavy rain poured down, Bournemouth's beaches are usually

teeming with sun`worshippers this time of year `

instead, they were almost ddserted. And the Uffington White Horse Show

in Oxfordshire saw visitor numbers drop

by almost a tenth on yesterday. But it was the shops

and museums reaping the rew`rds as people ran for cover to find

something to do in the rain. Yesterday, at the 43rd Uffington

White Horse Show in Oxfordshire this area was packed with around

6,000 people. Today, only 1,000 turned out as the

weather took a change for the worst. the weather seemed to be

water off a duck's back. It is lovely. It is only a little

bit of rain. I have my umbrdlla I will head for the beer tent in a

minute. The indoor circus proved

a vote`winner, too, as visitors sheltered

from the downpours. Any profit made at the show

is reinvested into the commtnity but, despite the weather,

organisers were staying upbdat. It is probably one of the bdst

Sundays we have had in recent days. Today is not so good. The r`in is

not helping us but we are gdtting a few people on the showground.

It was no better at Bournemouth this morning.

Just a fraction of the visitors normally found on the beach

during the summer, with many sheltering from the rain.

But there were healthy queuds to the aquarium

It is always nice to come additional British holiday, which means lots of

rain! We are here for the ahrshow so hopefully it will be better by the

end of the week. It is beautiful. I love it here.

the weather was just a little wide of the mark,

but it didn't seem to stop people having a good time.

Good to see people making the best of it. Now for the weather. Alexis

is with us. Will it get any better? Unfortunately not. It will hmprove

by the weekend. The rain will be intense at times, which could lead

to localised flooding and strface water. We have already seen 1.5

inches of rain in some placds and that will continue to fall

overnight. Lows of between 04`1 Celsius. A soggy start to tomorrow

with rain on and off. The Mdt Office have issued a yellow weather

warning. There could be somd torrential downpours through the

afternoon around Hampshire, with highs of 20 Celsius in any dry or

Sunnis Busby have. The Met Office warning is in place tomorrow. Some

really heavy rain at times. Sunshine and showers on Thursday and Friday.
