Welcome to the College Merthyr Tydfil, home to 2006 form students | :00:11. | :00:16.
from around the area. And, for us, home to the BBC Wales part of the | :00:17. | :00:22.
extravaganza. Welcome to the best bits of Children in Need, 2013. | :00:23. | :00:28.
We have the best music, the best comedy, the best dancing, the best | :00:29. | :00:32.
case of mistaken identity, and several home going... Home-grown | :00:33. | :00:41.
performances from John Owen-Jones, the Welsh children's choir, and | :00:42. | :00:47.
Sophie Owens, among others. We will have performances later from the | :00:48. | :00:50.
children's choir and from West End star John Owen Jones. But the real | :00:51. | :00:54.
reason we are here is because all of the students from this amazing | :00:55. | :01:00.
college have been really busy over the last few weeks, supporting | :01:01. | :01:04.
Children in Need. At this college, over 40 groups of | :01:05. | :01:07.
students have been planning innovative ways to raise money for | :01:08. | :01:12.
Pudsey. The best plans are pitched to our | :01:13. | :01:18.
team of Welsh dragons. Wynne Evans, star of the go compare T-shirt... | :01:19. | :01:26.
Adverts, Sophie Evans, West End star, the principle of the college. | :01:27. | :01:35.
Some suggestions were to guess the name of the buyer. The students | :01:36. | :01:42.
seemed well-prepared. But what will the dragons think? Have you thought | :01:43. | :01:47.
about turning the heating up so you could serve more water? Surely doing | :01:48. | :01:54.
it in the school would have been free? A telling moment for the young | :01:55. | :01:57.
fundraisers, as their plan falls apart. But has Sophie seen something | :01:58. | :02:09.
they haven't? I think that's the zumbathon will be very successful, I | :02:10. | :02:15.
am in. Congratulations. Wynne Evans chose to support at the open mic | :02:16. | :02:22.
night. So with Children in Need only a few days away, the fund-raising | :02:23. | :02:29.
starts in earnest. Tell the listeners about your idea? | :02:30. | :02:35.
The open mic team publicised their event on the radio show, and | :02:36. | :02:39.
everybody gets involved to help children across Wales and the rest | :02:40. | :02:40.
of the UK. And that was the real Evan Davis | :02:41. | :02:57.
from Dragons' Den doing the voice-over. I have got the open mic | :02:58. | :03:04.
night organisers, how was it? Really fantastic, it was fun. We raised | :03:05. | :03:12.
?161. Brilliant effort. John, you the college principal, what has it | :03:13. | :03:16.
been like this week seeing support Children in Need? There has been a | :03:17. | :03:21.
wonderful atmosphere all week. Staff and students have entered into it in | :03:22. | :03:26.
the best spirit, it has been fantastic. We have had over 78 | :03:27. | :03:33.
events and raced over ?5,000. Sophie Evans, and the zumbathon, you really | :03:34. | :03:41.
got involved? I have never done zumba before, I thought it would be | :03:42. | :03:46.
good to get involved in. How much did you raise? An amazing ?332. | :03:47. | :03:53.
Really uplifting. The UK show came from Elstree this | :03:54. | :04:23.
year, and first up from there, the cast of the hit musical Matilda. | :04:24. | :04:32.
# You are small, shrivelled, foul smelling and weak. | :04:33. | :04:38.
# You losers, children, and you always will be. | :04:39. | :04:45.
# Just because you find that life's not fair. | :04:46. | :04:49.
# It doesn't mean that you just have to grin and bear it. | :04:50. | :04:53.
# If you always take it on the chin and wear it. | :04:54. | :04:58.
# Nothing will change. Mock even if you're little, you can do a lot. | :04:59. | :05:05.
# If you sit around and let them get on top of you, you might as well be | :05:06. | :05:11.
saying you think it's OK. # And that's not right. | :05:12. | :05:24.
# We've seen revolting sites. # We'll be revolting children. | :05:25. | :05:37.
# We are revolting. # We will become a revolting | :05:38. | :05:39.
hoarder! We are revolting! # Varies nothing that the Trunchbull | :05:40. | :06:03.
can do. -- there is nothing. # We are revolting. | :06:04. | :06:28.
# We are revolting children, living in revolting songs. | :06:29. | :06:35.
# We sing revolting songs. # We will be revolting children | :06:36. | :06:39.
until our revolting as done. # It is too late for you. | :06:40. | :06:53.
# We are revolting! APPLAUSE | :06:54. | :07:10.
# When I grow up. # I will be brave enough to fight | :07:11. | :07:21.
the creatures that you have to fight beneath the bed each night to be a | :07:22. | :07:28.
grown-up. # And when I grow up. | :07:29. | :07:36.
# I will be smart enough to answer all the questions that you need to | :07:37. | :07:42.
know the answers to before you are a grown-up. | :07:43. | :08:02.
# I will wake up when the sun comes up. I will spend all day just lying | :08:03. | :08:11.
in the sun. # I will be all grown up. | :08:12. | :08:18.
# When I grow up. # When I grow up. | :08:19. | :08:24.
# Sometimes you have to be a little bit naughty. | :08:25. | :08:35.
2013 has seen the One Show Rickshaw Challenge get bigger and better than | :08:36. | :08:40.
ever. Alex Jones was joined this year by five young people who have | :08:41. | :08:43.
been supported by Children in Need project, and together they make up | :08:44. | :08:49.
Team Rickshaw. Their journey spans eight days, all four UK nations and | :08:50. | :08:55.
over 700 miles. Think about what they would say now if they were | :08:56. | :08:58.
watching you. They overcame everything thrown at the and was | :08:59. | :09:04.
supported by friends and family. And now they are about to complete the | :09:05. | :09:07.
final leg of an incredible adventure. | :09:08. | :09:12.
So Wales' very own Alex Jones peddled the rickshaw on the last leg | :09:13. | :09:16.
of its mammoth journey to be greeted on Elstree on the set of Eastenders | :09:17. | :09:23.
by Fearne Cotton and Matt Baker. They have done it. I can't believe | :09:24. | :09:30.
they are at the finish line! Isn't it amazing? Well done. Alex, you | :09:31. | :09:38.
have crossed the finish line. How on earth do you feel? It has been an | :09:39. | :09:43.
absolutely epic adventure and journey. These guys have been | :09:44. | :09:47.
incredible. They have written every hour of the night through all | :09:48. | :09:52.
weathers, tackled huge hills, I think their resilience has captured | :09:53. | :09:56.
the imagination of people at home, helping them raise pounds for | :09:57. | :09:59.
Pudsey, they are an absolutely inspiring group of individuals and | :10:00. | :10:03.
it has been an honour to ride with them. Are you shattered? Freezing, | :10:04. | :10:09.
shattered, need a good meal. The next thing I will do will be to get | :10:10. | :10:14.
you a cup of tea. You need some good news. Do you want a year your total? | :10:15. | :10:21.
Let's go. Bat-macro wants to hear your total? You have raised over ?1 | :10:22. | :10:25.
million. She has played Dorothy in the Wizard | :10:26. | :10:36.
of Oz, last year she had her own Christmas TV special for BBC Wales, | :10:37. | :10:41.
and now the firming especially for Children in Need, here's the extreme | :10:42. | :10:47.
it handed Sophie Evans -- and is now performing. | :10:48. | :10:56.
# Turned down these voices inside my head. | :10:57. | :11:05.
# Lay down with me. # Tell me no lies. | :11:06. | :11:12.
# Just hold me close. # Don't patronise. | :11:13. | :11:28.
# Because I can't make you Love me if you don't. | :11:29. | :11:36.
# You can't make your heart feel something about it won't. | :11:37. | :11:46.
# Here in the dark please find my words. | :11:47. | :11:56.
# I will lay down my heart. # You won't, no, you won't. | :11:57. | :12:05.
# I can't make you Love me. # If you don't. | :12:06. | :12:21.
# I'll close my eyes. # Then I won't see # The love you | :12:22. | :12:37.
don't feel when you're holding me. # Morning will come and I'll do | :12:38. | :12:41.
what's right. # Just give me until then. | :12:42. | :12:49.
# To give up this fight. # And I will give up this fight. | :12:50. | :12:58.
# I can't make you Love me if you don't. | :12:59. | :13:03.
# You can't make your heart feel something that it won't. | :13:04. | :13:15.
# Here in the dark. # I will lay down my heart. | :13:16. | :13:22.
# I'll feel the power. # But you won't, no, you won't. | :13:23. | :13:34.
# I can't make you Love me. # If you don't. | :13:35. | :13:52.
Never and an estimated of the Internet. Here is a group from | :13:53. | :14:10.
Norway. Carol goes moo, frog goes croak, | :14:11. | :14:29.
elephant goes to. Jack says Kwak and fish go lab. There is one sound that | :14:30. | :14:39.
nobody knows what's up what does the Fox say? Healing ding ding adding. | :14:40. | :14:48.
What does the Fox say that the Mac Powell, Powell, Powell. | :14:49. | :15:01.
Big blue eyes, pointy nose, chasing mice. Tiny pores at the hell, | :15:02. | :15:29.
suddenly you are standing still. The offer is read and so beautiful like | :15:30. | :15:35.
an angel in disguise. But if you meet a friendly horse, will you | :15:36. | :15:45.
communicate by Morse? How will you speak to that horse? What does the | :15:46. | :15:54.
Fox say? The secret of the parks, ancient | :15:55. | :16:47.
mystery. What is your sound? Will we ever know? It will always be a | :16:48. | :16:51.
mystery. What do you say? Hiding in the | :16:52. | :17:16.
woods. What is your sound? Will we ever know? I want to know. | :17:17. | :17:32.
This year, like every year, people all over the country are raising | :17:33. | :17:42.
money. Last year, people from everywhere in Wales got behind | :17:43. | :17:47.
Children in Need. People like Carter and Michelle helped raise ?2100. | :17:48. | :17:54.
What these bright sparks from Swansea who stayed at an electricity | :17:55. | :17:59.
pole for two days and raised ?5,000. Gareth and Stephen did a ghost watch | :18:00. | :18:04.
and centre nears in Anglesey raised ?700. Emily from Caerphilly took on | :18:05. | :18:14.
the woman versus food challenge. All your contributions are appreciated | :18:15. | :18:19.
for that every penny raised goes directly to help children and young | :18:20. | :18:25.
people in the UK. In Wales, it means these young people with visual | :18:26. | :18:30.
impairments can come to this camp and learn a new skill and build | :18:31. | :18:34.
their confidence. In Swansea, a community pharmacy has funding from | :18:35. | :18:40.
Children in Need to help young people broaden their horizons and | :18:41. | :18:44.
develop their self-esteem. In Powys, young people who spend hours each | :18:45. | :18:50.
week looking after disabled parents can have time off every week to read | :18:51. | :18:57.
just like other kids. There are so many projects across the entry who | :18:58. | :19:00.
are grateful for your generosity. That does make it better than last | :19:01. | :19:07.
year. If you only give ?1, 50p 1p, it will help. Thank you, Wales. | :19:08. | :19:17.
Thank you for caring about Children in Need. You can give ?10 right now | :19:18. | :19:26.
the Children in Need by text being donated. | :19:27. | :19:42.
Back to Merthyr Tydfil now and our special guest John Owen-Jones with | :19:43. | :19:46.
thunderbolt. He always runs while others walk. He | :19:47. | :20:11.
acts while others just talk. He looks at this world and once it all. | :20:12. | :20:33.
So he strikes, like thunderbolt. He knows the meaning of success. | :20:34. | :20:45.
His needs are more so he gives less. | :20:46. | :20:55.
He looks at this world and wants it all. | :20:56. | :21:13.
So he's strikes like thunderball. Any woman he once, he will get. | :21:14. | :21:25.
He will break any heart without regret. | :21:26. | :21:42.
His days of asking are all gone. His fight goes on and on and on. | :21:43. | :21:56.
But he thinks that the fight is worth it all. | :21:57. | :22:01.
So he strikes like thunderball. APPLAUSE. Wow, thank you to John | :22:02. | :22:45.
Owen-Jones. What a brilliant performance. You must know by now | :22:46. | :22:52.
that Doctor Who is 50 this year. The programme is made in Wales and | :22:53. | :23:26.
especially the Children in Need, yet Some day you could just walk past a | :23:27. | :23:30.
Fez. Never going to happen. This is why we called you in. 3D again. Hm, | :23:31. | :23:38.
interesting. The broken glass? No, where it's broken from. | :23:39. | :23:43.
Look at the shatter patterns. The glass from all these paintings has | :23:44. | :23:51.
been broken from the inside. As you can see, all the paintings are | :23:52. | :23:55.
landscapes, no figures of any kind. So? There used to be. Some things | :23:56. | :24:06.
got out of the paintings! Lots of somethings. Dangerous. This whole | :24:07. | :24:11.
place has been searched. There's nothing here that shouldn't be and | :24:12. | :24:18.
nothing's got out. Oh, no, not now. Doctor! What is it? Oh, no, not now. | :24:19. | :24:23.
I'm busy. Is it to do with the paintings? No. This is different. I | :24:24. | :24:31.
remember this. Almost remember. Oh, of course. This is where I come in. | :24:32. | :24:40.
Geronimo! Doctor! Wait! These are the best bits of Children | :24:41. | :26:02.
in Need. # How it goes but I know that I | :26:03. | :26:05.
won't forget her'. # 'Cause we danced all night to the | :26:06. | :26:08.
best song ever. # I think it went oh, oh, oh. I said | :26:09. | :26:37.
can I take never and we danced all night to the best because we danced | :26:38. | :26:49.
all night to the best song ever. # I think it went yeah, yeah, yeah. | :26:50. | :26:56.
# I think it goes, oh! # You know, I know, you know I'll | :26:57. | :26:59.
remember you. # And I know, you know, I know | :27:00. | :27:03.
you'll remember me. # You know, I know, you know I'll | :27:04. | :27:07.
remember you. # And I know, you know, I hope | :27:08. | :27:12.
you'll remember how we danced. # Oh, oh, oh! | :27:13. | :27:17.
# How we danced! # one, two, one, two, three! | :27:18. | :27:22.
# How we danced all night to the best song ever. | :27:23. | :27:25.
# We knew every line, now I can't remember. | :27:26. | :27:29.
# How it goes but I know that I won't forget her. | :27:30. | :27:33.
# 'Cause we danced, we danced, we danced all night to the best song | :27:34. | :27:41.
ever. # I think it goes something like | :27:42. | :27:46.
this! # And we danced all night to the | :27:47. | :27:48.
best song ever. # We knew every line, now I can't | :27:49. | :27:51.
remember. # How it goes but I know that I | :27:52. | :27:54.
won't forget her. # 'Cause we danced all night to the | :27:55. | :27:57.
best song ever! # I think it went oh, oh, oh. | :27:58. | :28:02.
# I think it went yeah, yeah, yeah. # I think it goes, oh! | :28:03. | :28:04.
# Best song ever! # It was the best song ever. | :28:05. | :28:22.
one of the highlights of Children in Need has often been the sight of | :28:23. | :28:26.
hundreds of children from around the UK singing together, and I think | :28:27. | :28:30.
this year is the best ever. The Wales choir is made up of schools in | :28:31. | :28:34.
the Merthyr Tydfil area and they have been spending weeks practising | :28:35. | :28:40.
on preparing for the moment when they joined with nine other choirs | :28:41. | :28:41.
across the UK. # Some words, they can't be spoken, | :28:42. | :29:10.
only son. # To hear 1000 voices shouting. | :29:11. | :29:20.
# There's a place, there's a time, in this life when you say what you | :29:21. | :29:28.
are feeling. # Stamp your feet, stand your | :29:29. | :29:33.
ground, don't you see, right now, the world is listening to what we | :29:34. | :29:39.
say? # Sing it louder, singing clearer, | :29:40. | :29:47.
knowing everyone will hear you. Barack make some noise. | :29:48. | :29:54.
# Sing it stronger, sing together, make this moment last forever. | :29:55. | :30:29.
# CEOP 1000 faces celebrate. # You've got hope, you've got light. | :30:30. | :30:43.
# It wasn't always easy. # Don't you see, right now, the | :30:44. | :30:51.
world is listening to what we say? # Sing it louder, sing it clearer, | :30:52. | :31:04.
knowing everyone will hear you. # Sing it stronger, sing together, | :31:05. | :31:15.
let this moment last forever. # Some words, they can't be spoken, | :31:16. | :31:36.
only son. -- sung. # So here 1000 voices shouting love | :31:37. | :31:38.
and light and hope. # Just a single. -- just sing. | :31:39. | :32:18.
# Just sing. # Just sing. | :32:19. | :32:30.
# Sing it louder, sing it clearer, knowing everyone can hear you. | :32:31. | :32:42.
# Sing it stronger, sing it clearer. # 1000 voices shouting. | :32:43. | :33:00.
APPLAUSE Weldon to our choir, you did Wales | :33:01. | :33:11.
proud. It is November, getting colder by the day, and summer seems | :33:12. | :33:18.
far away. But, back in August, we went to see a summer play scheme in | :33:19. | :33:22.
Wales funded by your donations to Children in Need. | :33:23. | :33:49.
Here's a typical 11 year-old. Moody, stroppy, we don't get on at | :33:50. | :33:56.
the moment. Loves to be with his friends, very social, lives to be | :33:57. | :34:01.
out constantly. All you want your child is to be the same as everybody | :34:02. | :34:05.
else, whether they have a disability or not. Kai loves being with other | :34:06. | :34:11.
children and socialising, any 11 year-old would want to be with other | :34:12. | :34:16.
children. Children with a disability have the -- the same rights as the | :34:17. | :34:24.
children to play, and should be playing with all children, not just | :34:25. | :34:30.
children with disabilities. Everything we do is integrated, the | :34:31. | :34:34.
last thing we want is a group of children with special needs who do | :34:35. | :34:38.
one thing, and everybody else doing something else. Everybody is joining | :34:39. | :34:42.
in with everything, and what shows a really good scheme is that you can't | :34:43. | :34:46.
spot the children with a disability, because they join in with what the | :34:47. | :34:52.
others are doing. She has a condition which means low muscle | :34:53. | :34:57.
tone, she has only been walking for three years. Her ability is not the | :34:58. | :35:03.
greatest so she tends to trip and fall. It has been fabulous for her, | :35:04. | :35:08.
this summer holidays. It is the first year she has been and she has | :35:09. | :35:12.
loved it. We have bring and buy toy sales, they have become quite a | :35:13. | :35:17.
tradition for a long time. The children bring that own unwanted | :35:18. | :35:21.
toys to school and sell them to their friends. | :35:22. | :35:26.
We knew that the money that we raised would go to UK national | :35:27. | :35:29.
projects, but only recently did I become aware that it is funding | :35:30. | :35:33.
projects in our area, which is great. | :35:34. | :35:38.
It is quite difficult for children with special needs to fit into the | :35:39. | :35:43.
local community. Coming here, with the local children who live in our | :35:44. | :35:51.
street or around the corner, helps life be that much easier. | :35:52. | :35:58.
The schools have so many fundraising events, it is nice to see something | :35:59. | :36:03.
in your own community. I can see where the money is going, how good | :36:04. | :36:07.
the scheme is, it will enable me to continue. | :36:08. | :36:13.
Play is a right for all children, these children would be losing out | :36:14. | :36:17.
if we did not get our Children in Need funding. So thank you. | :36:18. | :36:36.

And now a very special Children in Need edition of Room 101. | :39:48. | :39:59.
Hello, I'm Frank Skinner, welcome to a very special kids edition of Room | :40:00. | :40:02.
101 for Children in Need. Let's meet our guests, a seven-year-old, an | :40:03. | :40:16.
eight-year-old and a ten-year-old. I think we are going to start the | :40:17. | :40:24.
show, what is Alesandrochoice? Wii tooth-brushing. It is just really | :40:25. | :40:31.
boring. So you clean your teeth every warning and every night? Yes, | :40:32. | :40:37.
as a healthy boy. It doesn't take very long. Two minutes, I think | :40:38. | :40:44.
that's very long. You will never be able to work for the council if you | :40:45. | :40:49.
can't stand still for that long. What would Gruff like to put in room | :40:50. | :40:58.
101? Girls who don't want to go out with me. Have you asked out any | :40:59. | :41:06.
girls? I have been too scared. You are the fastest swimmer for your age | :41:07. | :41:12.
in Wales, you off writing to ask girls out. What is the worst that | :41:13. | :41:17.
can happen? -- you are frightened to ask. She will tell her friends, they | :41:18. | :41:22.
will make fun of me, then the boys will find out, they will probably | :41:23. | :41:28.
make fun of me. Do you have a technique in mind? I've got a line. | :41:29. | :41:35.
Get your coat on, it's your lucky night. OK... I had a boyfriend that | :41:36. | :41:43.
he completely forgot we were going out after one day. I have had | :41:44. | :41:50.
girlfriends like that. So what would you like to put in Room 101? Parents | :41:51. | :42:04.
trying to be cool. What is cool? I don't know. It's just cool. That has | :42:05. | :42:11.
helped a lot! What do your parents do when they are trying to be cool? | :42:12. | :42:21.
My mum is always like, YOLO. It means, you only live once. They are | :42:22. | :42:28.
too old to do it. It is just embarrassing. How old do you think I | :42:29. | :42:37.
am? Reign 75? You know what, you are not going to win. We have to do a | :42:38. | :42:46.
quick decision. I know it can be a bit boring, I don't really enjoyed | :42:47. | :42:49.
tooth-brushing, but you don't want to end up with horrible, yellow | :42:50. | :42:54.
teeth like me. I think your parents are just trying their best, but I | :42:55. | :42:59.
know they can be embarrassing. That I had a hard, hard time feeling | :43:00. | :43:04.
nervous about asking girls out and everybody laughing, so I will put | :43:05. | :43:09.
girls who don't want to go out with Gruff in Room 101. And that brings | :43:10. | :43:25.
us to the end of the show. Thank you and good night. And you can give ?10 | :43:26. | :43:31.
right now the Children in Need. Hello and good evening to all of you | :43:32. | :43:54.
watching at home. Thank you for being such fantastic supporters of | :43:55. | :43:57.
Children in Need. Together, we can do great things. I would like you to | :43:58. | :44:04.
meet a young man called Thomas. You will see how much your donations | :44:05. | :44:09.
have helped him put up I hope you will be inspired to help more | :44:10. | :44:10.
children to. Because his needs are so complex, it | :44:11. | :44:22.
affects every single aspect of his life. At about 18 months, we knew | :44:23. | :44:27.
something was not right. He was crawling and we were very worded. -- | :44:28. | :44:38.
worried. In 2005, he was diagnosed with mild cerebral palsy and autism. | :44:39. | :44:46.
It is something he has to live with and deal with but it does get him | :44:47. | :44:54.
down sometimes. As he got older, because his understanding of his | :44:55. | :45:00.
condition is developing, the questions can be difficult at times. | :45:01. | :45:03.
They are questions anybody would ask. Why me? His life changed when a | :45:04. | :45:16.
project in Cardiff showed him he could do something he never thought | :45:17. | :45:22.
possible. Thanks to your donations the physiotherapist can help | :45:23. | :45:24.
children of all abilities to experience the thrill of riding a | :45:25. | :45:31.
bike. A lot of children to not think they can do it and a lot of parents | :45:32. | :45:35.
and them full stop it is all about finding the right bike. It is a nice | :45:36. | :45:39.
job to have because you see the faces of the children and you can | :45:40. | :45:44.
see that they are relaxed and happy for stop they become more | :45:45. | :45:50.
confident. It is exciting. We have been very, very lucky because pedal | :45:51. | :45:57.
power has been able to allow Thomas to join in with other children of | :45:58. | :46:00.
all abilities and have a fulfilling childhood. It is great. We have been | :46:01. | :46:06.
able to go on holidays with other families and children so it has made | :46:07. | :46:15.
it an adventure for Thomas. Riding a bike most children take for granted. | :46:16. | :46:19.
But the children like Thomas, it means so much more. Someone asked | :46:20. | :46:26.
him recently what are you good at? He said it was cycling. For a boy | :46:27. | :46:32.
with his needs to say that, it says it all. I can go around the road and | :46:33. | :46:39.
even if you have cerebral palsy, you can still do it. Look ahead. | :46:40. | :46:47.
Brilliant. When he is on the trike, his face like that. It is fantastic. | :46:48. | :46:53.
It is life changing. I am hugely proud of him. Yes. Tonight, you can | :46:54. | :47:03.
make more children smile. Thank you. To donate ?10. Wales has so much | :47:04. | :47:11.
musical talent. This young singer songwriter is a real testimony to | :47:12. | :47:17.
that. Performing in her hometown Merthyr Tydfil. | :47:18. | :47:54.

APPLAUSE. Thank you for that she is amazing and only 18. Really good. I | :51:33. | :51:54.
am sure that at least once in most Ibos lives they have been taken for | :51:55. | :51:59.
some videos but what happens if you are a well-known BBC weatherman who | :52:00. | :52:04.
keeps on being mistaken for a famous politician. First Minister, do you | :52:05. | :52:16.
have anything to say about what you are going to announce today? No | :52:17. | :52:18.
comment. But First Minister! Morning, First Minister. Good | :52:19. | :52:30.
morning, First Minister, can I just ask you to sign this agreement? | :52:31. | :52:33.
First Minister, your first appointment this morning is straight | :52:34. | :52:34.
into the press conference room. Good morning everyone. I am | :52:35. | :52:46.
announcing today that sunshine will be made continuous across Wales from | :52:47. | :52:52.
tomorrow with immediate effect. Rainfall has been banned, apart from | :52:53. | :52:55.
during the night to water the flowers. Snowfall is being increased | :52:56. | :52:59.
especially during the school holidays and on Christmas Day. | :53:00. | :53:03.
Furthermore, Barry Island will be made a World Heritage Site and Jamie | :53:04. | :53:07.
Owen will be made Lord Owen of Pembroke Dock. Oi, Brockway, hands | :53:08. | :53:16.
off my lectern! There is only one First Minister around here and it is | :53:17. | :53:20.
not you, OK? But what about the snow? No, no, no, no. Out, sling | :53:21. | :53:24.
your hook. Out the door. Goodbye. Out. No, no. Out. Lord Owen? Out. | :53:25. | :53:33.
Right. I am here to announce a new initiative. There will be permanent | :53:34. | :53:41.
sunshine across the whole of Wales. Any questions? First Minister! Not | :53:42. | :54:00.
you, Servini, the bear! Nice try. Yes, nice try, Derek. What the first | :54:01. | :54:08.
Minister leave it there all what he tried to get his own back. Hello, | :54:09. | :54:11.
shw mae? Well, it is going to be sunny over the whole of Wales | :54:12. | :54:14.
tomorrow. Top temperatures a balmy 30 degrees. In fact, the outlook for | :54:15. | :54:19.
next week is sunny all the way and then for the rest of the month it | :54:20. | :54:23.
looks as if it is going to be a heatwave across Wales. So, slap on | :54:24. | :54:26.
that sunscreen and moisturise, moisturise, moisturise everyone. | :54:27. | :54:29.
Meanwhile across the UK, there will be some spits and spots, mainly | :54:30. | :54:33.
spots but there is a warning for severe wind in Barry Island, or | :54:34. | :54:39.
Barrybados as we call it. Oi, Jones! So, so that's it from me. Cymerwch | :54:40. | :54:44.
ofal. Ta ta tan 'to. Hands off my isobars. There is only one | :54:45. | :54:48.
weatherman in Wales and it's me. Hop it. What a cheek! Nice try. | :54:49. | :55:00.
Meanwhile, back at the Queen Vic. It is # Like the legend of the phoenix. | :55:01. | :55:40.
# All ends with beginnings. # What keeps the planet spinning. | :55:41. | :55:43.
# The force from the beginning. # We've come too far to give up who | :55:44. | :55:46.

Wherever you live, wherever you are right now, Children in Need are | :03:46. | :03:51.
helping to change lives right on your doorstep. | :03:52. | :03:58.
You've given me and my little brother the chance to play together. | :03:59. | :04:01.
You've given us the chance to become closer as a family. | :04:02. | :04:05.
To do something I've never done before. | :04:06. | :04:10.
Children in Need help me when it felt like I didn't have the future. | :04:11. | :04:15.
Thanks to Children in Need, I've turned my life around. I've made | :04:16. | :04:21.
lots of new friends. You've given us the chance to give | :04:22. | :04:25.
these children the best possible start in life. | :04:26. | :04:29.
# They can make the best of their childhood. | :04:30. | :04:35.
# You have made -- you have given us the chance to make a difference in | :04:36. | :04:38.
their lives. I have a safe place to have that | :04:39. | :04:42.
with my friends. Our little girl can get her support. | :04:43. | :04:46.
The root-macro a place where I can call home. | :04:47. | :04:52.
# We can build friendship, build trust, build potential, build hope. | :04:53. | :05:02.
Thanks to all your money, we have helped many children in the UK. | :05:03. | :05:08.
Thank you. Thank you so much. Quite simply, thanks to you, disadvantaged | :05:09. | :05:13.
children's lives are getting better. But we can't do this without you. | :05:14. | :05:17.
There are thousands of children and families across the UK who still | :05:18. | :05:24.
need your help. But you can be there every step of the way, helping young | :05:25. | :05:29.
heroes and brave families. And when life gets really tough, in the | :05:30. | :05:34.
saddest of times, you can help children smile. But the big question | :05:35. | :05:44.
is, what will you do tonight? We have had a brilliant time at the | :05:45. | :05:48.
College Merthyr Tydfil. Thank you to everyone here for making us so | :05:49. | :05:51.
welcome. It really has been fantastic. You can still donate by | :05:52. | :05:57.
text or the website. Every penny makes a difference. To finish | :05:58. | :06:05.
tonight, here is our children's choir and John Owen Jones with Made | :06:06. | :06:09.
Each Day. # May each day in the week be a good | :06:10. | :06:16.
