We've got Brian Adams on the show tonight. I've got some mistletoe and

:00:07.:00:12.

I'm just waiting for him to get a kiss under the mistletoe. It's going

:00:13.:00:17.

to be perfect. Hi, Zoe. Don't mind if I do. Oh, Giovanni! Hi, thanks.

:00:18.:00:29.

Oh, hi, Adam Garcia. Zoe. Scott Mills. Do you know where the toilet

:00:30.:00:35.

is? Just down there on the left. Thanks very much. He'll be along any

:00:36.:00:39.

minute now. Where is he? Live from London, this is Strictly

:00:40.:01:29.

It Takes Two. Please welcome your host, Zoe Ball.

:01:30.:01:42.

Hello and welcome to It Takes Two. CHEERING

:01:43.:01:51.

. They are likely tonight. It is Friday so you get a whole hour. More

:01:52.:02:04.

importantly, it is the semifinals. Do the whole song. I feel like

:02:05.:02:10.

Gareth Malone. In about 24 hours, our couples will be back in the

:02:11.:02:15.

Strictly ballroom with not one but two dances. It is very exciting. We

:02:16.:02:20.

will be chatting to more of our semifinalists but that is just the

:02:21.:02:23.

tip of the iceberg. It wouldn't be Friday without a Friday panel,

:02:24.:02:28.

starting with the only man on Strictly to look good dressed as a

:02:29.:02:34.

crab. He is back, Scott Mills. I love him. She is no stranger to our

:02:35.:02:38.

panel and she's got a right loose lipped. Andrea McClane is here. He

:02:39.:02:46.

has done everything from dancing on stage to dancing on table tops in

:02:47.:02:51.

bars in a film. It is Adam Garcia. Nice beard. Seeing as out at the end

:02:52.:02:58.

of the show, you might have heard of him, it's only Brian Adams.

:02:59.:03:07.

We will do that again later. I sent a familiar face to get the backstage

:03:08.:03:17.

gossip at the Strictly Studios. Hopefully he won't have any problems

:03:18.:03:21.

with people trying to touch his tomatoes. Welcome to the semifinal

:03:22.:03:28.

of Strictly Come Dancing. Behind me Kevin and Kellie are going through

:03:29.:03:31.

their routine to prepare for the semifinal, but what is coming up? I

:03:32.:03:36.

will be chatting with professional dancers. I will be talking to Anita

:03:37.:03:43.

and Katie. For desert, the delicious Natalie Lowe. I can't wait. It is

:03:44.:03:50.

lovely to have Ainsley back. Let's chat to my first guest. At the

:03:51.:03:54.

weekend we saw them as beauty and the beast, and I'm not talking about

:03:55.:04:00.

Len and Craig. It is Georgia and Giovanni.

:04:01.:04:19.

Welcome. Congratulations on being in the semifinal. Exciting. That is an

:04:20.:04:33.

amazing frock. Thank you. You have been a bit poorly but how are you

:04:34.:04:40.

feeling? I've had pharyngitis. Mike pharynx has been completely broken.

:04:41.:04:43.

I'm still feeling a bit under the weather. Are you feeling all right,

:04:44.:04:51.

Giovanni? You haven't got that? A little bit, to be honest. You stay

:04:52.:04:57.

over there. I may have something to help you later but first of all,

:04:58.:05:02.

have you recovered from last week and's dance-off? It was a shocker to

:05:03.:05:07.

see you there. That is probably what brought this on. I was kind of

:05:08.:05:13.

expecting it that week because it wasn't as good. I was expecting it

:05:14.:05:18.

to happen. Were you? But you got such great comments. But everybody

:05:19.:05:26.

is so good. Nobody is safe. The competition is amazing. Everybody

:05:27.:05:32.

can win. Did you have a little cry? Yeah. I'm not surprised. I think a

:05:33.:05:40.

lot of people watching were crying. Giovanni? No. He is so hard. How was

:05:41.:05:51.

it to dance against your mates, Helen and Aljaz? It is a big

:05:52.:05:55.

problem. It is a competition but when you dance, especially with my

:05:56.:06:00.

best mate, Aljaz, it is really difficult when somebody has to go

:06:01.:06:06.

home. As much as you want to stay, I didn't want Helen to go. She

:06:07.:06:11.

deserves to be in the final. All of them deserve to be in the final. But

:06:12.:06:17.

you are in the semifinal. I am a bit overexcited tonight. I haven't even

:06:18.:06:22.

had a sherry yet! The judges saved you unanimously. That must have

:06:23.:06:26.

been, I know it was upsetting, but that must have felt nice to know

:06:27.:06:31.

they were behind you. It was amazing but they got upset. Darcey was

:06:32.:06:36.

crying with us both being there. The studio audience were so quiet. It

:06:37.:06:41.

was weird. That first week when you just didn't know who was going to be

:06:42.:06:46.

there. I don't know if I can handle this week. That is wonderful. Craig

:06:47.:06:54.

said that your fossil that track -- usage of foxtrot was spectacular.

:06:55.:07:02.

You look so beautiful. How much did you enjoy the dance? It was like a

:07:03.:07:07.

dream come true. It was a gorgeous dance. It was a dream. Did you enjoy

:07:08.:07:14.

it, ladies and gentlemen? They loved it. Also in your dance, we were

:07:15.:07:20.

enjoying the human props. Especially when they got in the way of Bruno

:07:21.:07:23.

and so he couldn't see. That was hilarious. It might have

:07:24.:07:43.

been ten if he could see. I assume that wasn't part of the plan? It

:07:44.:07:51.

wasn't part of the plan. Have you got human props tomorrow? No. You

:07:52.:07:56.

might be a bit rocked by being in the bottom two but other people have

:07:57.:08:01.

been in the bottom two and gone on to do well. In 2013, Abby and Aljaz

:08:02.:08:08.

were in the bottom two but they went on to win. Last year, Caroline and

:08:09.:08:16.

Pasha were in the dance-off and they walked away with the trophy. You

:08:17.:08:22.

see? Don't lose heart. Two dances this week. It is an emotional one.

:08:23.:08:31.

Two dances this week, the Viennese waltz and the cha-cha-cha. You have

:08:32.:08:36.

been poorly. You had a dance change last minute. Two days' rehearsal.

:08:37.:08:45.

Wednesday and Thursday. Should we be worried? I am! We are! Monday and

:08:46.:08:52.

Tuesday were a write-off. I couldn't speak. I was a bit worried. But we

:08:53.:08:58.

only finished our cha-cha-cha yesterday. It was kind of a bit of a

:08:59.:09:04.

mix-up. We had to do it the quickest, best way. Giovanni,

:09:05.:09:09.

considering she has had two days, is it looking good? Yes, I am hoping.

:09:10.:09:15.

We have some problems with the cha-cha-cha but we have 24 hours. We

:09:16.:09:21.

are going to try and... It is a lifetime. Do it here now! Georgia

:09:22.:09:30.

char! Let's have a little look at you doing your Viennese bolts. How

:09:31.:09:37.

is it going? It is fine. -- your Viennese waltz. We did that in

:09:38.:09:44.

Blackpool. Looking beautiful. You look so good doing that. That is

:09:45.:09:51.

very encouraging. Onto the cha-cha-cha. What are the little

:09:52.:09:56.

bits you need to iron out? It is a difficult dance, very fast. Usually

:09:57.:10:00.

you spent a week learning cha-cha-cha. But we had just one

:10:01.:10:09.

day. So that is different. I've got such a face on the! At first you

:10:10.:10:13.

need to learn the choreography and techniques. -- face on me. He has

:10:14.:10:21.

got total confidence. We knew you weren't very well so we decided to

:10:22.:10:27.

get together some tissues. These are remedies for a sore throat. First,

:10:28.:10:31.

we have, apparently if you suck on a clove of garlic... It will kill all

:10:32.:10:39.

the bacteria. A legend has it also that liquorice root works a treat

:10:40.:10:43.

when you mix it with water and gargle it. I got you some liquorice

:10:44.:10:50.

allsorts. I've eaten most of them. Finally, slippery elm leaves, native

:10:51.:10:54.

to America, Native Americans believe they heal sore throats. They are all

:10:55.:11:02.

thinking, don't touch that! That is especially for you. They all sound a

:11:03.:11:06.

bit weird. I really wouldn't touch them. How do you break up the two

:11:07.:11:14.

days when you have got two dances? It was really difficult. Usually, we

:11:15.:11:18.

start with the steps and after that we go to the technique and all of

:11:19.:11:24.

the rest, like the arms, timing, character. But we need to rush this

:11:25.:11:30.

week. One dance per day. We just need to give everything in one

:11:31.:11:35.

moment, like a magician. Remember this. You need Jedi powers. Normally

:11:36.:11:42.

on a Friday you add the details in the studio. Today, I was still

:11:43.:11:46.

thinking about the steps. It was a bit strange. Tomorrow is

:11:47.:11:48.

concentration. I have no doubt that you two will be brilliant tomorrow.

:11:49.:11:56.

He is giving you the power. Giovanni, your first year on the

:11:57.:12:00.

show, how special would it be to take Georgia to the final? Oh... It

:12:01.:12:08.

would be amazing. First year, like, it would be absolutely a dream come

:12:09.:12:15.

true. It is special this year, it is hard. What does your tattoo on your

:12:16.:12:20.

arms say? Born to women. Remember that. -- born to win. Believe in

:12:21.:12:34.

yourself. Fantastic. Georgia and Giovanni! It has been a busy week

:12:35.:12:42.

for our couples. They have had to start the Christmas shopping, get

:12:43.:12:46.

the decorations up and squeeze in learning two dances, so let's see

:12:47.:12:52.

how Anita and Katie are getting on. The Charleston is a show stopper. It

:12:53.:12:57.

requires message of energy. -- buses of energy. -- masses of energy.

:12:58.:13:07.

Developing nicely. Very much looking forward to Saturday night. You have

:13:08.:13:14.

just got to get your timing. A lot of the dance is side-by-side so I

:13:15.:13:18.

can't be copying Anton. I can't be on hold. I have to go over it again

:13:19.:13:23.

and again to make sure it is really solid. It is almost there. Myself

:13:24.:13:36.

that is fast and upbeat. It is crazy with a lot of content. It will be

:13:37.:13:43.

cool. I feel like he has left the most insane choreography yet for the

:13:44.:13:48.

salsa. I am with it but I am not. I am up and down and in between his

:13:49.:13:52.

legs and running and doing the salsa. I'm doing hip-hop. There is

:13:53.:14:02.

so much going on. I've just got to keep my head in gear and get through

:14:03.:14:11.

it. That's a good move. I like it. Looking good. On Monday, Bruno

:14:12.:14:16.

Tonioli will be here to answer your questions. We have waited all series

:14:17.:14:22.

to see him. You can submit your questions on social media. Let's

:14:23.:14:30.

head over to the Strictly Studios. This is a very special booth. Each

:14:31.:14:35.

week, celebrities, dances and even the judges, darling, come in here

:14:36.:14:40.

and put rather strange faces on this screen here. Do you want to see how

:14:41.:14:45.

it works? Check this out. I'm going to do a groove for you. Here you go,

:14:46.:14:51.

yeah, spinning round and round we go. I want to tell you something

:14:52.:14:57.

about Strictly, don't you know. Grooving, moving... Exciting! If you

:14:58.:15:01.

want to check it out, go to be strictly Macromedia page because all

:15:02.:15:05.

sorts of information is on there. For now, I have an important

:15:06.:15:08.

reservation in the style bar. Follow me. This is one of those places

:15:09.:15:14.

where we all want to congregate, dancers, celebrities and the judges

:15:15.:15:19.

block in. This is where the social thing takes off. How are you guys?

:15:20.:15:26.

Doing well? This is back door security. Everybody would want to

:15:27.:15:36.

flock in and see the show. So nice to see you. How are you? Lovely to

:15:37.:15:43.

see you. This is your first year in the competition. It is. Has it been

:15:44.:15:48.

fabulous? It's been amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better

:15:49.:15:52.

experience. Getting together with professional dancers. A bit earlier

:15:53.:15:58.

for Anthony and you. You wanted to show those skills. We really wanted

:15:59.:16:05.

to show that but we didn't get it. I love coming here every Friday and

:16:06.:16:09.

Saturday will stop I know about you girls. Look at this. It is Zoe

:16:10.:16:22.

partying. What do you talk about when you go out? Lots of everything,

:16:23.:16:32.

lots of girl chat. Shoes, handbags? Cocktails... You were with Peter and

:16:33.:16:39.

you went through a lot of stress. Each week, being so focused on what

:16:40.:16:44.

you are doing... Each week, for me, I think, what is the most important

:16:45.:16:48.

part of a dance question you have to win the judges over. For me, it is

:16:49.:16:56.

the performance. If you really enjoy yourself and really let yourself get

:16:57.:16:59.

lost in what you are doing, everybody at home will as well. You

:17:00.:17:02.

know what, maybe the technique wasn't great but he had so much fun.

:17:03.:17:09.

That is the most important thing. Out of all you professional dancers,

:17:10.:17:14.

who would make the perfect Scrooge, the perfect centre and, more

:17:15.:17:17.

importantly, which one of you would like to be the fairy on top of the

:17:18.:17:22.

Christmas tree? -- the perfect Santa. The BlackBerry or the whack

:17:23.:17:36.

fairy? -- the black fairy. There is really no Scrooge. We become a bit

:17:37.:17:41.

Scrooge like on Monday morning at 7am. Everybody does. Santer and the

:17:42.:17:53.

fairy? I think Anton. In terms of the fairy, may need. I am the

:17:54.:17:59.

smallest. She is the easiest to put up a tree. The perfect fairy.

:18:00.:18:09.

Throughout history, there have been iconic trios, the three Musketeers,

:18:10.:18:17.

the three little pigs and the BLT. Nothing compares to this 30, my

:18:18.:18:29.

Friday panel. Welcome, my darling. Scott, so lovely to see you back. So

:18:30.:18:36.

lovely -- such good memory. I don't think people are using their hands

:18:37.:18:41.

right. I feel they could use some tips. Are you missing it this year?

:18:42.:18:49.

I was there to witness it myself. Jeremy Vine's plastic horse. It was

:18:50.:18:56.

so good. It really was. I am looking forward to seeing him back in the

:18:57.:19:01.

final. Asda what he has which I wish I had had last year is, even though

:19:02.:19:06.

not amazing at dancing, he has confidence. Nobody will ever do that

:19:07.:19:21.

again. Andrea, are you happy with the semifinal line-up? The standard

:19:22.:19:27.

is incredible. It is so sad that people are starting to get poorly as

:19:28.:19:31.

people are getting near the finish. They are continuing to fight on.

:19:32.:19:39.

Rocca is always great. You are an amazing dancer yourself, Adam. You

:19:40.:19:43.

have been a judge on Strictly in Australia. Can you spot immediately

:19:44.:19:48.

if a dancer is what it takes or not? I hope so, or they have been paying

:19:49.:19:55.

me for the wrong job. But, more often than not, I can. The people

:19:56.:20:00.

who are left. The standard last week as well... Even when Peter left...

:20:01.:20:07.

That group, you can't pick who will win it. I really can't. Lets get

:20:08.:20:13.

involved in the nitty-gritty and take a closer look at everybody in

:20:14.:20:20.

training. First of all, Anita and Gleb, the foxtrot to New York, New

:20:21.:20:26.

York. Scott, you did a foxtrot. It was genius. Was that a foxtrot?

:20:27.:20:37.

Difficult to tell! I think it was. What do you think of them?

:20:38.:20:42.

Brilliant, but somebody excellent is going to leave this weekend. Even

:20:43.:20:46.

last year, obviously I knew I wasn't going to be in the final, but I

:20:47.:20:51.

think it was easier to predict last year. I don't know who is going to

:20:52.:20:57.

win. I get it wrong every year. Let's have a look at George and

:20:58.:21:01.

Giovanni and their cha-cha-cha. They've only had two days of

:21:02.:21:08.

training. -- Georgia. They are still stepping it through a bit. What does

:21:09.:21:13.

she have to do for the cha-cha-cha? Will she survive? At the moment, her

:21:14.:21:19.

head is down a bit. She is starting to feel a bit poorly. It is quite

:21:20.:21:25.

overwhelming to get this far. Keep looking up. She is beautiful and

:21:26.:21:29.

awesome and I think she can do it. She is an incredible dancer. I had

:21:30.:21:36.

her down for the final. What do you think? I was surprised they were in

:21:37.:21:40.

the dance-off last week. I was surprised Alan was there as well. I

:21:41.:21:46.

think she is marking through it. -- Helen. There are a lot of steps and

:21:47.:21:50.

she seems to have them already. I think she will surprise everyone.

:21:51.:21:54.

She will be worried about it but it will come through. On to Jay and

:21:55.:22:00.

Aliona. Their first dance is the Viennese waltz. Brian Adams is in

:22:01.:22:08.

the building. They are dancing to Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman.

:22:09.:22:15.

What you think of them? It is hard to pick a favourite but, if I had

:22:16.:22:20.

to, I think it is Jay. It is incredible with a man coming into a

:22:21.:22:24.

competition with his beard and his hair and learning to refine all of

:22:25.:22:28.

that. I think it looks so beautiful. He is doing really well. With his

:22:29.:22:37.

first dance, he was so terrified he couldn't speak afterwards. He is

:22:38.:22:42.

also my favourite. He is my most improved. He improves more than

:22:43.:22:48.

anyone each week. Although he always gets told he needs to show more

:22:49.:22:53.

face, he is remarkably charismatic. Every dance, there is something

:22:54.:22:57.

special. Do you find yourself falling in love with him every time?

:22:58.:23:02.

Yes. I don't know if this is a stalker thing... Let's have a look

:23:03.:23:09.

at Katie and Anton, who are doing the Charleston to Too Darn Hot.

:23:10.:23:17.

Everybody loves a Charleston. This could work for me. I am about on a

:23:18.:23:23.

par with Scott. I could possibly crab walk through a Charleston. I

:23:24.:23:30.

did a Charleston as well. It wasn't a Charleston. We should pack up!

:23:31.:23:35.

That could go on tour. What do you think? I find Anton really funny. He

:23:36.:23:44.

is such a ballroom man. What do I know? Here on the expert panel. I

:23:45.:23:51.

love them. I think she is incredible. OK, let's look at Kellie

:23:52.:24:00.

and Kevin's rumba. They are dancing to Songbird by Eva Cassidy. She is a

:24:01.:24:09.

wonderful dancer but what she has done, week in, week out, is she

:24:10.:24:13.

manages to find the character of the dance with every dance. There is

:24:14.:24:18.

something about how she moves and gets into the tone of the dance. I

:24:19.:24:23.

think the rumba will suit her and she will have lots of sense you will

:24:24.:24:28.

fund. People can be one way or the other about the rumba. Last week, it

:24:29.:24:36.

was all about... She can all show edge she can now show her sultry

:24:37.:24:43.

side. She will be amazing. Thank you, Friday panel! As crisp as edges

:24:44.:24:52.

closer, I am sure our professional dancers have a festive treat in

:24:53.:24:59.

store. -- Christmas edges closer. They are doing a tropical Latin

:25:00.:25:09.

theme? Naturally, of course... This week's Group Dance is a Latin

:25:10.:25:14.

number. This dance is well-suited for Janette and I because we love to

:25:15.:25:23.

dance salsa, we are both Latino... It will be shot with one camera.

:25:24.:25:28.

Everything you see in the shot would be created by dancers moving in and

:25:29.:25:36.

out. We have a moving wall which creates a transition between

:25:37.:25:45.

different scenes. It is a Latin nightclub, basically. I am the

:25:46.:25:49.

bouncer. Everybody is getting to do their own party piece. There quite a

:25:50.:25:56.

few optical illusions. There is a bit where the boys dance with their

:25:57.:26:04.

legs. And they wear skirts. You have to be perfect because, one step out,

:26:05.:26:09.

it will all go wrong. We will have a sofa, a moving ball... And don't

:26:10.:26:19.

forget the glitter bomb. It is a hard routine but we have faith. It

:26:20.:26:27.

will be amazing. Having a little boogie, getting on down. You look

:26:28.:26:33.

familiar. We have been waiting all series but Craig is yet to pull out

:26:34.:26:38.

his tend paddle. Earlier this week, we launched the find Craig's ten

:26:39.:26:46.

paddle appeal. We have had a huge response. There have even been some

:26:47.:26:50.

fresh sightings, including these suspicious looking ladies. He was

:26:51.:26:56.

spotted trying to make a quick getaway in their boat. If you see

:26:57.:27:01.

them, approach with caution! And anonymous whistle-blower believes

:27:02.:27:03.

her son James has been harbouring the paddle for the last few days.

:27:04.:27:09.

The most disturbing sighting of all came from Hannah in Essex. That is

:27:10.:27:17.

so cute! If you have any information or new sightings, send them into us.

:27:18.:27:29.

At the weekend, she was put to her acting limits when she had to become

:27:30.:27:32.

an East End barmaid. Kellie and Kevin.

:27:33.:27:57.

Welcome and congratulations getting to the semifinals. Kellie and Kevin,

:27:58.:28:05.

that was ace work. Well done. Nowhere near the dance-off last

:28:06.:28:09.

weekend. Triumphant. How were you feeling after the show? I couldn't

:28:10.:28:15.

believe how well it had gone. I loved it! We had such a good time

:28:16.:28:21.

doing that routine. It sort of just felt so lovely and such a joy to

:28:22.:28:26.

dance. I don't know, it was kind of... In a way, I felt a bit

:28:27.:28:32.

worried. I should be more worried! It was brilliant, I loved it. Had a

:28:33.:28:41.

great weekend. Your little face! Kevin, it was such... The judges

:28:42.:28:46.

loved it. Len wanted to watch it again. Craig said, it was common,

:28:47.:28:53.

but I loved it! Wind did you know it was going to be a corker? -- when

:28:54.:29:00.

did you know. Quite early. People have been saying how Kellie finds

:29:01.:29:06.

the character. Adam said that. He is right, she really gets into the

:29:07.:29:09.

character. There was something about this number, as soon as we started,

:29:10.:29:14.

we were having loads of fun. I thought, this could be brilliant.

:29:15.:29:18.

Every time we danced in rehearsal, Kevin would just be like this... We

:29:19.:29:27.

were singing along in rehearsal. Did you get face ache from smiling? We

:29:28.:29:34.

did see it on Len lens. Really getting into the spirit of the

:29:35.:29:38.

dance. Let's see it one more time. Here is Kellie having a singalong.

:29:39.:30:09.

I could hear you singing. An interesting key change! Oh, dear.

:30:10.:30:17.

Your reaction also when your names were read out to say you were not

:30:18.:30:21.

going to the dance-off and you were going through, that was beautiful.

:30:22.:30:27.

We were so shocked. Because we have been in the dance-off twice before

:30:28.:30:31.

and we were the only couple left that had been in the dance-off, I

:30:32.:30:37.

just thought... We just expected it. When we were called out first... We

:30:38.:30:43.

were not ready. Even on the off chance that we have got through

:30:44.:30:47.

without the dance-off, we thought they would leave it till the end

:30:48.:30:51.

because people would expect it. We were not ready for it. We called out

:30:52.:30:56.

-- they called out our names and we went not! If you get through to the

:30:57.:31:04.

final, it means Vue -- it means that you would be the only care to have

:31:05.:31:12.

made it through after being in the dance-off three weeks in a row.

:31:13.:31:13.

Low-pressure! No pressure at all. One of them is the American Smooth

:31:14.:31:19.

to New York, New York. I am absolutely in love with this

:31:20.:31:36.

routine. I wanted to do a Fred and Ginger, the ball gown. The sparkling

:31:37.:31:49.

rain falling from the ceiling. And Kevin Clifton has just made my

:31:50.:31:53.

dreams come true. It is a gorgeous routine. It makes me smile. It.

:31:54.:31:59.

We both love it. Yes. I tried on my costume today.

:32:00.:32:07.

Vicky brought it in, it is the full she bang. I was like a child,

:32:08.:32:15.

jumping up and down. Never taking it off.

:32:16.:32:24.

All three layers of feathers. Kevin, now in the American smooth.

:32:25.:32:29.

There are about six. That is a lot. And also, the number.

:32:30.:32:56.

He is bursting out of his jacket. The rumba, Adam was saying how you

:32:57.:33:03.

get into the character of the dance. I am loving the rumba. More than ii

:33:04.:33:10.

properly loved any of the other dancers. It is a dance, but probably

:33:11.:33:20.

the hardest I have done. We have had to do two routines as well as

:33:21.:33:23.

filming everyday. This is not an easy dance.

:33:24.:33:30.

It has nearly been the straw that has broken the Camel's back.

:33:31.:33:37.

I love it. It is really romantic, a beautiful dance. We have talked a

:33:38.:33:46.

lot about what it symbolises funny. I am really loving it. The song

:33:47.:33:55.

means a lot to me. It has been interesting watching you

:33:56.:34:00.

in training. Occasionally you struggle to get in the Romantic

:34:01.:34:03.

mood. This is the next level stuff we're

:34:04.:34:08.

not faking a rumba. Do a bit of a caress. And then... I emotionally

:34:09.:34:19.

turn you around. Come back here. Oh, dear.

:34:20.:34:26.

Oh, sugar lumps. OK. That really made us laugh. You can tell she is a

:34:27.:34:34.

mum, sugar lumps. Kellie, we need to do something

:34:35.:34:39.

about this whole not being attracted to Kev situation, so we thought we'd

:34:40.:34:42.

help you both by giving Kev the necessary tools to get the ball

:34:43.:34:45.

rolling on this rumba romance. Kev is going to try and seduce you,

:34:46.:34:48.

and all you have to do is keep a straight face for

:34:49.:34:54.

as long as possible. He means business. She is doing

:34:55.:35:13.

really well... . Kellie.

:35:14.:35:18.

Are you a parking ticket, because you've got FINE written

:35:19.:35:20.

You're looking a bit pale, maybe you're missing some

:35:21.:35:30.

Who writes all of this stuff, quickly, one more.

:35:31.:35:40.

If I could rearrange the alphabet, I'd put U and I together.

:35:41.:35:46.

Well, it is going to be amazing. Well done.

:35:47.:35:55.

We can't wait to see you perform tomorrow.

:35:56.:35:56.

OK, let's see what corner of the Strictly studios Ainsley has

:35:57.:36:08.

I absolutely love being back in this ballroom. There is a real buzz.

:36:09.:36:23.

I love being here. We have Jay and Aliona on the dance floor.

:36:24.:36:28.

They are dancing to Brian Adam, a great song.

:36:29.:36:35.

It is very emotional. He can show a lot of feeling within this. It is

:36:36.:36:39.

beautiful, actually. The Viennese waltz is one of the highest scoring

:36:40.:36:44.

dancers on strictly come this might be a good one for them, hopefully.

:36:45.:36:48.

Have you been watching the other rehearsals?

:36:49.:36:52.

I have been doing my own rehearsals, we have a full on group dance with

:36:53.:36:57.

lots of props. I haven't actually been able to focus on anybody.

:36:58.:37:02.

You talk about props. Walking around the back, let us look at the props

:37:03.:37:05.

department. Some inside knowledge. It is a bit dark in here.

:37:06.:37:21.

Come on down here. We don't normally see this part, it is like going

:37:22.:37:26.

through the tradesman is entrance. It is not glamorous. Not at all.

:37:27.:37:32.

Some sparkly steps. I think that is for Anita and Gleb,

:37:33.:37:38.

walking down those tomorrow night. And we have a Tardis, check this

:37:39.:37:40.

out. Look at this. Kids, Dr Who, Tardis.

:37:41.:37:51.

How wonderful is that? I have to say, the props team turn around

:37:52.:37:57.

things like this within three or four days, to get our performance to

:37:58.:38:02.

life. They really are important to the

:38:03.:38:06.

dance routine. Think about the tomatoes in your

:38:07.:38:11.

routine, it wouldn't have been so special.

:38:12.:38:11.

What is she like! Getting the perfect score

:38:12.:38:14.

from the judges is no easy feat, especially when it comes

:38:15.:38:16.

to everyone's favourite party Unbelievably, no couple has managed

:38:17.:38:18.

to secure a 40 in all of Strictly history, but why and what do

:38:19.:38:28.

they need to do? Luckily, Kevin and Karen Clifton

:38:29.:38:30.

have all the answers. Last time, we spoke about the rumba.

:38:31.:38:52.

The other dance is the samba. There were only Dawlat dancers, who

:38:53.:38:59.

scored 39, Abbey Clancy, and Frankie Bridge, who danced with Kevin.

:39:00.:39:03.

The samba is tricky because of the changes of rhythm, the bounce and

:39:04.:39:07.

hip action. The judges are very critical on

:39:08.:39:11.

scoring. Such a hard technique for that

:39:12.:39:13.

double bounce. It needs to look like you are having

:39:14.:39:16.

the time of your life. You need to be on the balls of your

:39:17.:39:22.

feet. The perfect samba needs that gorgeous action, bounce action, lots

:39:23.:39:31.

of rhythm changes. The samba is fast paced and can look

:39:32.:39:36.

messy, they want it clean and technical.

:39:37.:39:38.

It seems to be a stumbling block for many who had taken to the studio.

:39:39.:39:43.

Let us find out why. The first thing is the bounce

:39:44.:39:50.

action. This is a samba whisk, side, behind, the place.

:39:51.:39:53.

We are going up and down and bouncing as we are dancing.

:39:54.:40:01.

Bounce and bounce. Unlike the other Latin dancers, we are soft in the

:40:02.:40:05.

knees which enables us to keep dancing.

:40:06.:40:11.

The samba is not a stationary dance so to travel down the dance floor,

:40:12.:40:23.

the use promenade barns. -- runs. We are still using our knees, arms,

:40:24.:40:29.

there is still rhythm in the body, stepping on the balls of your feet.

:40:30.:40:34.

Think about softening your knees, finishing your arms, looking at your

:40:35.:40:42.

partner and having fun. The next step if you're feeling

:40:43.:40:50.

really confident is this one. These are all about fast feet and

:40:51.:40:54.

fast hips, here we go. 123. All in the hips. We go as fast

:40:55.:41:05.

as we can. A very difficult one for the

:41:06.:41:09.

celebrities. Keep it going.

:41:10.:41:16.

Combine the three and you should have something like this.

:41:17.:41:45.

There you go, followed these steps and you could get a perfect 40 for

:41:46.:41:50.

your samba. It is not that easy.

:41:51.:41:53.

You haven't done it! Neither have you. What did you say!

:41:54.:42:02.

It is like that every night down the Pistons.

:42:03.:42:08.

-- Cliftons. Right, it's time for some more

:42:09.:42:10.

highbrow choreography analysis So, let's hear it for

:42:11.:42:12.

Adam, Andrea and Scott. They are the only couple left

:42:13.:42:15.

who haven't had a 10 What does she need to do

:42:16.:42:29.

to take her performance She is really graceful and there is

:42:30.:42:42.

something really sweet. They are a lovely couple. I don't

:42:43.:42:48.

know what it will take to get a ten. Does it matter in the competition

:42:49.:42:49.

now? I think there might be a few people

:42:50.:42:56.

who could get plenty of high schools. It could be close. They

:42:57.:43:01.

will all be grouped around the same amount.

:43:02.:43:08.

And if Anton makes it to the final? Can you imagine, he will never stop

:43:09.:43:09.

talking about it. Jay and Aliona are

:43:10.:43:15.

doing the Charleston. They are dancing to Doctor Jazz.

:43:16.:43:25.

Apparently like no other in the series. It looks like he is just

:43:26.:43:34.

saving it! Andrea Poli you love him, with a mum crush, how is he doing?

:43:35.:43:45.

He is doing well. He did look like he was stepping it out. I am sure he

:43:46.:43:50.

will be grand. What do you think? I love him, he is

:43:51.:43:56.

brilliant to watch. I admire how far he has come. He was absolutely

:43:57.:43:59.

terrified. I know how it feels. It never gets

:44:00.:44:03.

less terrifying. Kellie and Kevin are dancing to Nat

:44:04.:44:16.

King Cole, an American Smooth. What do you think, Adam, look at

:44:17.:44:21.

that footwork and position? This is looking good, this is a very

:44:22.:44:28.

hard dance. Why is it so hard? Because it is so slow, it is about

:44:29.:44:33.

balance, how you hold yourself, your poise, it is like slow motion. Very

:44:34.:44:40.

hard to control and keep as a couple together, perfectly in hold with

:44:41.:44:43.

everything in the right position. But they look really good.

:44:44.:44:48.

Scott, what can you add to doing this kind of dance? Jo Clifton

:44:49.:44:53.

worked for hours on technique with you, what do you remember about the

:44:54.:44:58.

hold and the feet? Joanne used to whisper, on the show

:44:59.:45:05.

and in training, left! Right! By week six, the

:45:06.:45:14.

ventriloquism was great. You could see her lips move.

:45:15.:45:19.

I don't know my left from right, I would be in trouble.

:45:20.:45:25.

We could make use special shoes. Such a clever idea.

:45:26.:45:28.

That is how I dance! Anita and Gleb have got the salsa

:45:29.:45:32.

to this lively number. Are you seeing what's required

:45:33.:45:34.

for a showstopping salsa? This is so fast, imagine the speed,

:45:35.:45:46.

can they do it? How does it look to you, Adam?

:45:47.:45:49.

Anita is so unbelievably capable, she seems to be able to do every

:45:50.:45:54.

step. She learns and pretends choreography will stop Gleb throws

:45:55.:45:58.

everything in his dancing, so much content. She keeps up. She dancers

:45:59.:46:06.

brilliantly, I am excited to watch that.

:46:07.:46:08.

Andrea? I think the same, everything he throws up her, she takes it on

:46:09.:46:14.

board and does it. Quite under Mark last week by Craig.

:46:15.:46:19.

Six, a shocker. What should it have been? Eight.

:46:20.:46:25.

They might have turned it upside down.

:46:26.:46:30.

What would you have given? Gleb had a truncheon.

:46:31.:46:37.

Adam, what would you have scored? Eight, nine.

:46:38.:46:44.

And finally, Georgia and Giovanni are doing the Viennese waltz

:46:45.:46:46.

She is so good at ballroom? She is so beautiful. I really hope she can

:46:47.:47:02.

up herself. She looked poorly in the programme. She is going to be so

:47:03.:47:09.

beautiful. I love her. She doesn't need to be

:47:10.:47:13.

in the dance off again. I don't think she well. It is tough.

:47:14.:47:20.

What do you think? She really suits ballroom. She is an event.

:47:21.:47:27.

Excellent. A difficult question to ask.

:47:28.:47:28.

You've seen all our couples, so who do you think will be getting

:47:29.:47:31.

You have been a judge, you can be tough, who will go home?

:47:32.:47:41.

I really don't know. I have a feeling...

:47:42.:47:43.

I had to push you. Katie.

:47:44.:47:50.

I agree, actually. Who do you think?

:47:51.:47:55.

Not Katie. I need an answer.

:47:56.:47:56.

An easier question, who will lift the trophy? I will pick Jay.

:47:57.:48:15.

I agree with you again. Scott, you have been there, who do you want to

:48:16.:48:19.

see with the Treasury? I would really like it to be Jay.

:48:20.:48:22.

A Let's hear it for our Friday Panel,

:48:23.:48:24.

Adam, Andrea and Scott. Right, let's head back

:48:25.:48:28.

to the Strictly Towers for the final Tomorrow night, this is where our

:48:29.:48:45.

couples will stand, before they head out onto the ballroom floor.

:48:46.:48:53.

It is exciting for me. Further, it will be, wow.

:48:54.:48:56.

This is very special. I have brought you here because normally we have

:48:57.:48:59.

the cameras on the floor. Nobody gets up here. This is an

:49:00.:49:04.

exclusive. Have a look down here. We have the

:49:05.:49:09.

pit where the orchestra are. The singers. As you can notice, there is

:49:10.:49:14.

glitter everywhere. Week 11, everywhere, little bits of

:49:15.:49:18.

glitter. And look at that, what a surprise,

:49:19.:49:25.

talk about semifinalists. Katie and Anita, let us go down and meet them.

:49:26.:49:33.

I am thrilled! Girls! Welcome! It is so lovely to

:49:34.:49:37.

see you. Anita and Katie.

:49:38.:49:40.

I could kiss you forever. You have done so well.

:49:41.:49:47.

We have done all right. I know you are in the middle of

:49:48.:49:52.

rehearsals. How is it going, how much more intense is it?

:49:53.:49:57.

A tough week. Everyone is in the same boat. Whose idea was it to do

:49:58.:50:01.

two dancers in one week. Intense but fun.

:50:02.:50:08.

I do think all of us, regardless of our backgrounds, we are getting

:50:09.:50:12.

better at learning choreography which has helped.

:50:13.:50:14.

What are you missing from your normal lifestyle?

:50:15.:50:21.

Everything. Family? Everything. We are in a bubble, having the best

:50:22.:50:26.

time. But real life has been on pause.

:50:27.:50:28.

Christmas is coming. We will be in the thick of it. I

:50:29.:50:33.

have to make-up for a lot of meals I haven't cooked.

:50:34.:50:35.

I will cook you one! And used to.

:50:36.:50:44.

My husband, I said, you have been cooking and cleaning. He said, don't

:50:45.:50:47.

get used to it. Do you have a favourite dance?

:50:48.:50:54.

You are doing salsa? We have a slow and a fast, Charlton and waltz.

:50:55.:51:00.

Foxtrot and a salsa. Completely contrasting. Beautiful songs. New

:51:01.:51:09.

York, Frank Sinatra. The salsa is Feel This Moment.

:51:10.:51:16.

Gleb loves throwing you around in the air.

:51:17.:51:20.

Every week, his career but he has been insane. I think he has left the

:51:21.:51:24.

most mental to the semifinal, the salsa, will be something.

:51:25.:51:32.

And Anton? I am getting chucked around a lot in the Charleston. Too

:51:33.:51:42.

Darn Hot from Kiss me Kate. And a nice little bit of Opera for our

:51:43.:51:48.

waltz. Puccini. Ladies, the costumes you wear,

:51:49.:51:53.

people are constantly writing in. People are mad about your costumes.

:51:54.:51:58.

Is it like walking into a fantastic shop and trying on wonderful

:51:59.:52:00.

outfits. One of the most brilliant things

:52:01.:52:05.

about strict Lee. The icing is when you get transformed. The make-up and

:52:06.:52:10.

hair. With the costume on, you have to dance. When else would you wear

:52:11.:52:17.

that? Going into wardrobe is like walking

:52:18.:52:21.

into a jewellery box. Finally, have you ever been in a

:52:22.:52:29.

final of everything before? A school music competition, a piano

:52:30.:52:35.

duet competition. I don't know. An egg racing

:52:36.:52:40.

condition which I won! One of these girls will win, I know

:52:41.:52:43.

it, the brilliant. I love you all. Thank you, ladies.

:52:44.:52:48.

Trivia fans, grab your hankies because it's time for the final

:52:49.:52:51.

instalment of Robin Windsor's guide to all things Strictly.

:52:52.:53:02.

Hi, there, welcome back to our rundown of highlights.

:53:03.:53:08.

We are almost at the end of our compilation of everything.

:53:09.:53:18.

We have saved the best till last. Walnuts. Pickled, of course.

:53:19.:53:28.

Pickled walnuts, you say? If you are not back next week, I

:53:29.:53:33.

will pickled by walnuts. Tickle my walnuts. If you don't get

:53:34.:53:39.

top marks, I will go home and pickled by walnuts.

:53:40.:53:41.

If you are in the dance-off, I will pickled by walnuts.

:53:42.:53:51.

I have pickled them if you times. X rated. Look away now if you are

:53:52.:53:54.

nervous disposition. Last year, Jake Wood was shaking his

:53:55.:54:11.

hips. And gyrating that booty. The girls have been getting in on

:54:12.:54:16.

the act. Nice cat suit! And another thing.

:54:17.:54:22.

What is under the kilt? A pickled walnuts, anyone?

:54:23.:54:31.

You, the strictly super fans, take it away.

:54:32.:54:41.

Why does the Charleston often school high points compared to the other

:54:42.:54:47.

ones? Charlotte gives you guys a ten.

:54:48.:54:51.

John gives you guys a ten as well. Zoo. Strictly has a history of

:54:52.:55:05.

encouraging our celebs to bring out their wild sides.

:55:06.:55:13.

Signing Steve back sure with his performance last year. He got a bit

:55:14.:55:17.

crabby, didn't he. That is the end of our a to Z.

:55:18.:55:26.

Back to you, Zoe. Oh, wait, I forgot one very important thing. Said is

:55:27.:55:28.

also for Zoe! -- Z. Can I sit down yet, I look
