My name is Sinclair Thomas, and I am the Great Britain wheelchair

basketball assistant coach. We are very well known as being one of the

best teams in the world. We play very up-tempo basketball. The

difference that National Lottery funding has made to our sport is

that we can have full-time players. It is really growing. We have got

four full-time coaches, which means we can see the athletes Daley. It

means we get access to other things, like wheelchair technology. For the

last couple of years, we have been developing a new wheelchair. It has

been developed with BMW. Nobody else in the world is going to have

this. It is a lot lighter, stronger, so secured. It improves agility,

you are able to handle the ball better. My job is to put the best

athlete in them. It has been a unique year, because we had all the

players in England, but it is a big sport abroad. We get to do stuff in

the whole year that usually we have to fit in three awful months. What

it is going to be like in London, it is going to be pretty exciting,

I suppose. The most nervous they will get is in a tunnel, because

they have never experienced that. You cannot stop nerves. The biggest

superstars, they get nervous, and they have done its time and again.

We have gelled really well together, we have been doing everything we

can, training harder, getting better technology. Hopefully, that

will do the trick and get as the gold medal. We are British
