The Knockouts 2: Highlights The Voice LOUDER

Hello, and welcome to the show

that's packed full of The Voice goodness.

- It's The Voice... - LOUDER!

Yes, we've got lots of juicy

goodness to show you today.

EMMA: So, here we are. With the

aftershocks

from the first knockouts

still being felt, there was no time to relax

as the knockout weekend continued.

On Saturday night, Kylie

and Tom

whittled their seven

artists down to three.

And on Sunday night, it was Ricky

and Will's turn to do the slicing.

And there they are - S Club Wilson.

We had our obligatory slow-mo

Reservoir Dogs shot,

and then it was all

go for Team Ricky.

First up to impress her team leader

was Ricky's steal, Jessica Steele.

The clue's in the name.

Warning - there may be tears.

An admirable control of emotions

from Jess, there,

and then it was over to

Manchester's own Chris Royal,

stepping onto his own yellow brick

road

of hope and dreams.

# Somewhere over the rainbow... #

MARVIN: Next came the youngest

act in the competition,

Beth McCarthy.

What song are you doing

and why are you doing it?

I'm doing Teenage Dirtbag.

# I'm just a teenage... #

Beth chose the song

Teenage Dirtbag, released in the year 2000.

- Were you born? - No, I don't think so.

I was three!

And suddenly everyone felt

really old.

# Oh, yeah You treated me kind... #

EMMA: Then it was Christina Marie's turn,

and she pulled out the big guns.

Wow!

Not only can Christina sing,

but she's been to the butcher's to

pick up the coaches' supper too.

TOM: She's got the chops. KYLIE: She's got the chops.

EMMA: Good. Who's got the mint sauce?

# Break it down, now! #

MARVIN: And it was Jazz who took the stage next,

although she wasn't keen to begin with.

# See, you gotta work it out

# A brother gotta work it out... #

# A-oooooh... #

# They say home is where your heart is set in stone... #

EMMA: Next, Max sang a song about going home.

Not the best message to put in Ricky's head at this point.

Kylie forgot the rules

of the competition for a moment.

KYLIE: I want to be on Team Ricky.

EMMA: Then came to her senses.

No, I don't, actually.

EMMA: No - you're a coach.

It's not allowed.

# It's so damn hard to believe... #

MARVIN: And then last

up for judgment came Emily.

# Baby

# Where did your manners go?

# Ye-eah... #

MARVIN: And then they were done.

No more singing, just a whole

lot of choosing for Mr Wilson,

which proved a lot harder

than

he expected.

Though a certain legend

did forewarn him.

You though it was going to be

easy, didn't you?

Yeah, you told me, Tom.

MARVIN: He has done two more series

than you, though,

so don't beat yourself

up about it.

Chris.

EMMA: Chris got Ricky's first place.

Then Christina Marie got his second.

So far, only people with "Chris"

in their name have gone through.

Emily.

EMMA: And so, with Ricky choosing Emily,

Ricky's live line-up was complete.

MARVIN: We promised you tears,

and here they are.

Thank you.

And then, our final

knockouts sailed into view,

but what did Will want from them?

I want to be knocked out.

Well, yeah - that's the idea, Will.

EMMA: Obligatory Reservoir Dogs slow-mo walking,

and we were off. Again.

First into Will's vocal

Then it was Iesher's turn to impress

the man called i.am.

# I'm running things in my way... #

Everyone who spends any time with

Will starts to make odd comparisons.

It's Iesher's turn now.

I'm like...a bottle of Coke,

and then you shake it,

and then

it's like, "Fzzzzzzz!"

She'll be talking

about dolphins in space next.

# It's the sound of the underground

# The beat of the drum goes round and round... #

MARVIN: Then it was Callum who took

to the

stage with a Girls Aloud classic.

# ..to the sound of the radio

# Out to the electric night... #

Next, our future Prime Minister, Jermain.

We had the yabba-dabbas last week...

Yabba-dabba-dooo! THEY LAUGH

This week, we had the Scooby-Doos.

HE GROWLS LIKE SCOOBY-DOO

Will certainly loves

his cartoon

vocal styles.

That's Scooby-Doo! You got to control

the Scooby on that one.

WILL GROWLS LIKE SCOOBY-DO

And he'd have gotten away with it

if

it wasn't for that pesky Will.i.am.

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

Next came Anna

and her trusty sidekick.

Get your hands off it, Will.

How you doing?

Sorry. I was messing with your harp.

# Like these autumn leaves

# I've got nothing to hold... #

EMMA: Following Anna

and her harp, it was Will's steal,

Nomakhosi, and she walked on

to

a frankly hysterical reception.

VERY LOUD SHOUT: NOMAKHOSI!

Calm down, Will.

# Looky here Looky here, now... #

And then Will started making

weird,

anonymous phone calls

to his own team members.

Ring, ring, ring. Hello, Callum.

- Will. - Watch out for Nomakhosi.

- Jermain. - Yeah?

Watch out for Nomakhosi.

Hmm?

# Two drifters... #

And...back to reality.

At least for a moment.

# Off to see the world... #

Sophie May did her thing,

but then it

was down for Will to do his

and choose just three acts

to

take to the live finals.

So who was first into Will's

live team?

Wow - everybody went quiet when the light went on.

EMMA: You can rely on Mr I.am

to create

a real sense of drama.

Iesher. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

Will went for Iesher,

but who else caught his ears?

Jermain.

Not exactly a surprise.

It was in the stars, after all.

And last but not least,

the third place went to...

Sophie.

And with that, Team Will is complete.

Team...Will.
