How did you come up with the name Hot Chocolate?

Hot Chocolate was actually not my name.

It was someone from a record company which belonged to The Beatles.

When we first started, we sent in a piece of music...

-Actually, it was a cover version of Give Peace A Chance.

-Right.

They loved it and they wanted to put the record out,

but we didn't have a name.

So a secretary in the record company was asked to come up with something,

so she came up with the Hot Chocolate Band.

In those days it was like Plastic Ono Band, Hot Chocolate Band.

Then we drew up the... We made it Hot Chocolate.
