The final countdown! They survived the star way. Dodge disaster in the | 0:00:01 | 0:00:11
deliberation room. And fought their way into the final. The prize of | 0:00:12 | 0:00:19
that role in the musical is so close, one star way. Scary thinking | 0:00:20 | 0:00:24
there are two other performances for someone to give you your dreams. The | 0:00:25 | 0:00:28
best experience of my life to send us on that tour, that would be a | 0:00:29 | 0:00:32
dream. They battled through the break-ups. And break dancing of the | 0:00:33 | 0:00:39
live shows. To be the last man standing. Tonight, Drive, Five To | 0:00:40 | 0:00:48
Five and Nightfall go head-to-head and sing live not once but twice. | 0:00:49 | 0:00:55
The judges have no say, it is up to the viewers. Tonight, we find the | 0:00:56 | 0:00:59
winning band. It's the final, let's go! | 0:01:00 | 0:01:26
Welcome to the final of Let it Shine. | 0:01:27 | 0:01:29
I'm glad they ditched the human cannonball idea! | 0:01:30 | 0:02:10
If you think that was a surprising entrance, | 0:02:11 | 0:02:12
Tonight, one band will win that amazing prize - | 0:02:13 | 0:02:18
the role of the all-singing and dancing boyband | 0:02:19 | 0:02:20
So shall we get our three finalists out? | 0:02:21 | 0:02:28
Turn the brightness up on your TV to maximum for Bradley, Danny, | 0:02:29 | 0:02:31
Go wild for AJ, Curtis, Nick, Sario and Yazdan. | 0:02:32 | 0:02:50
They're all revved up and ready to go. | 0:02:51 | 0:03:08
Make some noise for Conor, Jazzie, Jonnie, Mark and Matt. | 0:03:09 | 0:03:12
Hello! Welcome! | 0:03:13 | 0:03:31
Remember, tonight's vote is all in your hands. | 0:03:32 | 0:03:52
The vote will open after all our bands have performed twice. | 0:03:53 | 0:03:59
And if you want to vote online you'll need to sign | 0:04:00 | 0:04:01
in to your BBC account or register first at bbc.co.uk/letitshine. | 0:04:02 | 0:04:09
We've got our bands, so I suppose we could do | 0:04:10 | 0:04:12
But before we see them, let's hear from them. | 0:04:13 | 0:04:27
The final. The moment we have been looking forward to for eight weeks. | 0:04:28 | 0:04:38
I am excited, it comes down to this. This week the boys will perform not | 0:04:39 | 0:04:43
one but two songs. The first is a high-energy musical theatre song. | 0:04:44 | 0:04:48
Song from a musical adds a new dimension because within this they | 0:04:49 | 0:04:52
have to tell a story, this is completely different from singing | 0:04:53 | 0:04:57
pop songs. This is the moment when you feel, OK, we are in the theatre. | 0:04:58 | 0:05:02
Then, there are versions of ballots by Ed Sheeran, boys to men and Miley | 0:05:03 | 0:05:07
Cyrus. Pop ballads are so important for any boy band. There is no thing | 0:05:08 | 0:05:12
that separates these bands, only one of them can win. Now is the time to | 0:05:13 | 0:05:15
shine. Shiny and bright. Lovely to see you. | 0:05:16 | 0:05:17
OK... Yes, that is the judges. You three have been there | 0:05:18 | 0:06:07
from the very beginning. Dannii, can you believe | 0:06:08 | 0:06:09
it's the final? It has come around so quickly. I | 0:06:10 | 0:06:18
have to say, this is particularly two friends Adam, don't call me | 0:06:19 | 0:06:22
tomorrow and say, I love that band and they did not get through, vote! | 0:06:23 | 0:06:31
Wise words. Strong words from Dannii. | 0:06:32 | 0:06:34
Martin, our bands' first performances are to | 0:06:35 | 0:06:38
How's that going to help people decide which band | 0:06:39 | 0:06:48
Absolutely, we know all of these bands can sing pop songs until the | 0:06:49 | 0:07:00
cows come home but musical theatre numbers is what they will have to | 0:07:01 | 0:07:04
sing for the rest of their lives if they win this competition. Tough | 0:07:05 | 0:07:10
talk from Martin Kemp! The rest of their lives! Just musical theatre | 0:07:11 | 0:07:24
songs! Gary... Gary Barlow! CHEERING AND APPLAUSE | 0:07:25 | 0:07:37
To jobs or no. Yes, we will be judging here as usual but we will | 0:07:38 | 0:07:42
perform later on. Looking forward to that! Robbie Williams, on this | 0:07:43 | 0:07:46
stage! We've had some excellent guest | 0:07:47 | 0:07:50
judges across the series. Gary, would you care to give us | 0:07:51 | 0:07:52
a clue to who is joining This person is the most successful | 0:07:53 | 0:08:07
comedian in the world! This person has also been in musical theatre and | 0:08:08 | 0:08:11
they are great friend of mine. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome the | 0:08:12 | 0:08:19
guest judge... CHEERING AND APPLAUSE | 0:08:20 | 0:08:31
Wa-hey! CHEERING AND APPLAUSE | 0:08:32 | 0:09:27
Welcome, is that Peter? I said Honey! And you say Pete! I am all | 0:09:28 | 0:09:38
the better for seeing you. This is the first time you have been on a | 0:09:39 | 0:09:47
judging panel. Gary next year, he is very Zen. What would you be like? | 0:09:48 | 0:09:57
Very inadequate! But I am standing in Robbie Williams. He has hurt his | 0:09:58 | 0:10:02
back and we wish them the very swift recovery. | 0:10:03 | 0:10:06
APPLAUSE He will be singing and dancing later | 0:10:07 | 0:10:12
on. But not sitting down. He cannot sit and judge too much. But he will | 0:10:13 | 0:10:17
be getting up to sing and dance. Seeing as we're kicking off tonight | 0:10:18 | 0:10:22
with some hit musical theatre songs, we sent each band backstage to some | 0:10:23 | 0:10:25
of the biggest West End shows. Let's see what happened | 0:10:26 | 0:10:31
when the curtain comes down Lastly, Nightfall received rave | 0:10:32 | 0:10:47
review from the judges. Incredible, the most impressed -- improved our | 0:10:48 | 0:10:53
Huw and Julius. So harmonic, it looks right. And the boys are | 0:10:54 | 0:11:02
feeling on top of the world. Look at those few! This weekend is mad. I | 0:11:03 | 0:11:09
just loved every single minute. I think we really work as a group. | 0:11:10 | 0:11:14
Final destination- the Aldwych Theatre and a taste of what this | 0:11:15 | 0:11:18
competition is all about. A job in a real theatre show. Look at this! | 0:11:19 | 0:11:27
Like that, playing this every night. It has got me excited. This is nice. | 0:11:28 | 0:11:34
When you come here and you know what you are fighting for and working | 0:11:35 | 0:11:38
towards, it hits you like a tonne of bricks. The youngest boy left, Huw, | 0:11:39 | 0:11:46
is realising the scale of what is at stake. Right, this is what I am | 0:11:47 | 0:11:51
here, to put a smile on people's faces. Standing here is just | 0:11:52 | 0:11:56
amazing, this is where I want to be. Waiting for Nightfall is Cassidy | 0:11:57 | 0:12:02
Jansen, who has advice for the boys before their performance in the | 0:12:03 | 0:12:08
final. Never repeat performance, always create something right night | 0:12:09 | 0:12:12
because if you create something in the moment, it is always fun. You | 0:12:13 | 0:12:17
never get bored. In theatre you perform to the back of the stage, is | 0:12:18 | 0:12:21
that easy? Do you want to try projecting? We will go to the top, | 0:12:22 | 0:12:30
and you three can do the projection. OK. Go one! Rubbish! Laaa! That was | 0:12:31 | 0:12:51
good! Laaa! Perfect! That was good. It was great when Cassidy said who | 0:12:52 | 0:12:56
could project the loudest, if we want to win this, we will want to | 0:12:57 | 0:13:01
reach those people at the back of the room. I thought they were | 0:13:02 | 0:13:06
adorable and really professional. Pleasure to meet you. They come from | 0:13:07 | 0:13:10
different backgrounds, older and younger, they have this great work | 0:13:11 | 0:13:13
ethic. Have the best time on Saturday night. You will smash it. | 0:13:14 | 0:13:17
APPLAUSE # Footloose, kick off | 0:13:18 | 0:13:30
the Sunday shoes. # Please, Louise, pull | 0:13:31 | 0:14:05
me off of my knees. # Jack, get back, come | 0:14:06 | 0:14:10
on before we crack. # Lose your blues, | 0:14:11 | 0:14:16
everybody cut footloose. # You're playing so cool, | 0:14:17 | 0:14:26
obeying every rule. # You're burning, yearning | 0:14:27 | 0:14:31
for the some-somebody to tell you. # You'll get by if | 0:14:32 | 0:14:39
you'd only cut loose. # Footloose, kick off | 0:14:40 | 0:14:57
the Sunday shoes. # Ooh-whee, Marie, shake | 0:14:58 | 0:15:01
it, shake it for me. # Whoah, Milo come on, | 0:15:02 | 0:15:07
come on let's go. # Lose your blues, | 0:15:08 | 0:15:12
everybody cut footloose. # Everybody, everybody | 0:15:13 | 0:15:27
cut footloose. Let's hear it again for Bradley, | 0:15:28 | 0:15:39
Danny, Huw, Jason and Julius. Your friends and family looked | 0:15:40 | 0:15:46
like they enjoyed that. They've burst some of their letters. | 0:15:47 | 0:16:03
Oh, no. Gary, this is the first time these | 0:16:04 | 0:16:08
guys have tackled a modern Listen, let's just be clear, these | 0:16:09 | 0:16:21
guys deliver with everything we give them, they really do. It's true. | 0:16:22 | 0:16:28
Their job within this musical is to be convincing to the audience that | 0:16:29 | 0:16:31
they are a boy band, a great boy band, the biggest in the country. | 0:16:32 | 0:16:36
Guys, you were amazing tonight, well done. | 0:16:37 | 0:16:42
Dannii, do you agree, do they capture the spirit of a real boy | 0:16:43 | 0:16:50
band? Arrrrr! You guys have been consistent but up until tonight | 0:16:51 | 0:16:53
there was a question mark as to whether you could put that kind of | 0:16:54 | 0:16:56
energy together and you delivered tonight. | 0:16:57 | 0:17:03
APPLAUSE. She's loving it. | 0:17:04 | 0:17:15
Later on we'll be seeing a pop ballad. I need the boys to walk out | 0:17:16 | 0:17:22
in that ballad and act as if it's press night at Gary's new musical. | 0:17:23 | 0:17:29
But after a performance like that, I can smell BO! Box office! | 0:17:30 | 0:17:46
Someone's been working on that all week! If that is you... It's me, | 0:17:47 | 0:17:57
Graham, don't you worry, son. You've sold out arenas and things, can | 0:17:58 | 0:18:01
these guys hack it? Can they what? What did he say? Could they sell out | 0:18:02 | 0:18:08
an arena? Oh, that were fantastic, where's me golden buzzer, get it | 0:18:09 | 0:18:12
pressed. I'll tell you something, Graham, I'll tell you something, | 0:18:13 | 0:18:20
lads, your names are here, Bradley, Danny, Julius, you're on that bit of | 0:18:21 | 0:18:23
paper here, that's all good what you are doing but look behind you, lads, | 0:18:24 | 0:18:28
see where the real money is, scaffolding. Always have a trade | 0:18:29 | 0:18:33
behind you, lads. LAUGHTER. | 0:18:34 | 0:18:36
Telling you, scaffolding. Remember, you alone decide | 0:18:37 | 0:18:46
who will win that prize and we will announce the winners | 0:18:47 | 0:18:48
in this very show. So if you're such a big fan | 0:18:49 | 0:18:51
of Nightfall you've switched to working night shifts, | 0:18:52 | 0:18:53
then get behind them. But don't try and vote now as it | 0:18:54 | 0:18:55
won't count and you may be charged. For now, let's hear | 0:18:56 | 0:19:00
it for Nightfall! Graham, if the speaking clock had | 0:19:01 | 0:19:03
a favourite band, who would it be? Oh, what a beautiful morning. It's | 0:19:04 | 0:19:25
the final week and the boys are giddy from last weekend. | 0:19:26 | 0:19:31
# Tell her about it... # You are truly perfection. An | 0:19:32 | 0:19:35
absolute express train that will not stop. The locomotion. You don't have | 0:19:36 | 0:19:40
to take the judges quite so literally, boys. Wait, what's this? | 0:19:41 | 0:19:45
Baby of the group Nick is using a crutch. Come on, Nick. What did the | 0:19:46 | 0:19:51
physio say? A muscle down there is super tight. He told know rest up | 0:19:52 | 0:19:56
for a couple of days. That's all I can go. Having met up with fifth | 0:19:57 | 0:20:00
member Yazdan, our boys hot-footed it through the West End and took to | 0:20:01 | 0:20:04
the stage of one of the hottest tickets in town. Oh, my... Oh! Boys. | 0:20:05 | 0:20:12
This is the dream innit. I know, right. Imagine that full of people. | 0:20:13 | 0:20:16
We should do our routine for this weekend. You can stop an avalanche | 0:20:17 | 0:20:23
and it races down the hill... Oh, who is that? ! Very nice, boys. Meet | 0:20:24 | 0:20:29
Charlie, currently starring in Half A Sixpence and has just won a Best | 0:20:30 | 0:20:33
Actor award for his first ever lead role so who better to give advice | 0:20:34 | 0:20:37
about the trappings of success? Getting five star reviews is amazing | 0:20:38 | 0:20:42
but I know I can do better. Perfection from Gary Barlow is | 0:20:43 | 0:20:45
incredible and no-one can take that away from you. Never be Happy with | 0:20:46 | 0:20:54
what you give, it's never enough. What happened? I overworked it. | 0:20:55 | 0:21:00
Before this, I was just restoring cars so I'm not used to the intense | 0:21:01 | 0:21:04
hours and all of the dancing. With experience you learn what your body | 0:21:05 | 0:21:09
can do and not. It's like a professional athlete. It makes you | 0:21:10 | 0:21:13
anxious actually in terms of getting it right and, you know, this could | 0:21:14 | 0:21:16
be our lives for the next year if we win. I hope you get better soon. | 0:21:17 | 0:21:20
Thank you very much. With Nick needing all the luck he can get, AJ | 0:21:21 | 0:21:25
commits a theatre world sin. Oh, none of that. We can't whistle | 0:21:26 | 0:21:29
backstage because it's a superstition. Any other | 0:21:30 | 0:21:34
superstitions? I have a pair of Socks that I've worn for every | 0:21:35 | 0:21:40
audition I've ever been to. My sister got me a four leaf clever, we | 0:21:41 | 0:21:44
put it on card and I put it on my pocket every time before I go on | 0:21:45 | 0:21:49
stage. That is amazing. Hopefully it can work for the final. Speaking to | 0:21:50 | 0:21:54
Charlie has been inspirational. He achieved his dream. What happens | 0:21:55 | 0:21:57
this Saturday could be the beginning of the rest of our lives. It's an | 0:21:58 | 0:22:01
incredibly scary thought but also a very exciting thought. | 0:22:02 | 0:22:03
APPLAUSE. # You can't stop an avalanche as it | 0:22:04 | 0:22:11
races down the hill. # You can try to stop the seasons, | 0:22:12 | 0:22:15
girl, but you know you never will. # And you can try to stop my dancing | 0:22:16 | 0:22:20
feet, but I just cannot stand still! # 'Cause the world keeps | 0:22:21 | 0:22:25
spinnin' round and round. # And my heart's keepin' time | 0:22:26 | 0:22:29
to the speed of the sound. # I was lost 'til I heard the drums, | 0:22:30 | 0:22:33
then I found my way. # A woman found out if she shook it | 0:22:34 | 0:22:37
she could shake up a man. # So now I'm gonna shake and shimmy | 0:22:38 | 0:22:46
it the best that I can today. # 'Cause you can't stop the motion | 0:22:47 | 0:22:51
of the ocean or the sun in the sky. # You can wonder, if you wanna, | 0:22:52 | 0:22:55
but I never ask why. # And if you try to hold me down I'm | 0:22:56 | 0:22:58
gonna spit in your eye and say. # I am now a checkerboard | 0:22:59 | 0:23:02
chick, woo! # You can't stop the river | 0:23:03 | 0:23:11
as it rushes to the sea. # You can try to stop | 0:23:12 | 0:23:14
the hands of time, # And if they try to stop us, | 0:23:15 | 0:23:16
Seaweed, I'll call the N double ACP. # Cause the world keeps | 0:23:17 | 0:23:23
spinnin round and round. # And my heart's keepin time | 0:23:24 | 0:23:26
to the speed of sound. # I was lost 'til I heard the drums, | 0:23:27 | 0:23:29
then I found my way. # A man and woman like to shake it | 0:23:30 | 0:23:32
on a Saturday night. # So I'm gonna shake and shimmy it | 0:23:33 | 0:23:41
with all of my might today. # Cause you cant stop | 0:23:42 | 0:23:44
the motion of the ocean, # you can try to stop | 0:23:45 | 0:23:47
the paradise were dreamin of. # But you cannot stop the rhythm | 0:23:48 | 0:23:52
of two hearts in love to stay. Let's hear it again for AJ, Curtis, | 0:23:53 | 0:23:55
Nick, Sario and Yazdan. Now, Nick, love... Do you want to | 0:23:56 | 0:24:47
sit down? Are you OK? Nick has been very, very brave. He's got a leg | 0:24:48 | 0:24:51
injury. Nick, would you like to sit down, love? Come on. Are you sure | 0:24:52 | 0:24:57
you're OK? He's got a leg injury. Anyway. Well done, Nick. | 0:24:58 | 0:25:03
CHEERING AND APPLAUSE. All right, my love. Very brave. | 0:25:04 | 0:25:09
Gary, last week you said Five To Five gave you goosebumps. | 0:25:10 | 0:25:13
How did they do in their first performance of the night? | 0:25:14 | 0:25:18
Well, just listen to the audience. Oh, my goodness. | 0:25:19 | 0:25:27
You know... CHANTING. | 0:25:28 | 0:25:31
Nick, we all have an injury after our performance, mate, you killed | 0:25:32 | 0:25:33
it, really did. I feel terrible because obviously | 0:25:34 | 0:25:44
you're hurting but happily the next performance will be a slow ballad, | 0:25:45 | 0:25:49
Dannii. So what advice do you give the boys during that? I love to see | 0:25:50 | 0:25:59
personality in every performance. Keep your own personality, and let | 0:26:00 | 0:26:02
that shine through. Don't get too serious with it. Keep the | 0:26:03 | 0:26:05
personality there. Nick, my friend, all of you guys are new to this, | 0:26:06 | 0:26:12
theatre is athletic and you've shown us that you are going to turn up no | 0:26:13 | 0:26:15
matter what and you are going to keep going. | 0:26:16 | 0:26:21
APPLAUSE. Martin, what did you think? I'm | 0:26:22 | 0:26:24
going to be really honest here, eight weeks ago when we started this | 0:26:25 | 0:26:29
whole process, I never dreamed in my wildest imagination that we would | 0:26:30 | 0:26:34
find someone as good as you boys. APPLAUSE. | 0:26:35 | 0:26:41
All I can say is Take That beware because Five To Five are in town! | 0:26:42 | 0:26:51
Ooh hello! They were good, Martin, they weren't that good! | 0:26:52 | 0:26:56
Peter, did they win you over? How's Nick's leg? It's OK we think. Nick | 0:26:57 | 0:27:02
are you OK my love? He's standing. Rub his leg. They are dropping like | 0:27:03 | 0:27:06
flies here. Kiss of death. Do you know what I'm going to do Nick for | 0:27:07 | 0:27:14
you and Robbie, we are going to send you to Lourdes. Brilliant that, | 0:27:15 | 0:27:22
boys. Worth missing ANT Dec for that, that, thank God I've got it on | 0:27:23 | 0:27:27
series link. I hope your leg's all right, Nick. If you agree with | 0:27:28 | 0:27:33
Peter, vote for them later on, details are on screen. | 0:27:34 | 0:27:43
And don't forget, you can vote on the website. | 0:27:44 | 0:27:47
Just make sure you sign in or register first. | 0:27:48 | 0:27:49
And while you're there you can also find out more about our boys. | 0:27:50 | 0:28:04
Alfie Boe and Michael Ball give us a Les Miserables master class. An of | 0:28:05 | 0:28:14
course don't fear, Take That and Robbie Williams on this stage later | 0:28:15 | 0:28:20
on. That's coming up later. Now, if you saw last week's dramatic Results | 0:28:21 | 0:28:24
Show, you'll know the judges decided to keep all five members of our next | 0:28:25 | 0:28:27
band together. It's Drive everybody! What actually happened on Saturday? | 0:28:28 | 0:28:39
There is only one place left. Who is it going to be? Seeing Jazzie on his | 0:28:40 | 0:28:45
own, I just felt sick. I was the last one to get picked and I started | 0:28:46 | 0:28:49
making my acceptance speech in my head. Such a good feeling all | 0:28:50 | 0:28:54
getting through together. We have got the last hurdle to get over and | 0:28:55 | 0:28:57
I feel like we can definitely do this. We are in the finals, we are | 0:28:58 | 0:29:03
in the finals! Musical theatre this week, this should be our thing. Yes, | 0:29:04 | 0:29:08
for experienced performers Matt and Jonnie, the stage is familiar | 0:29:09 | 0:29:13
territory but today's visit to musical School of Rock, it will be | 0:29:14 | 0:29:18
the first time Conor and Jazzie have ever set foot in a theatre. And it's | 0:29:19 | 0:29:24
a chance to dream about that prize. To actually win it and go, this is a | 0:29:25 | 0:29:28
job, I think you will perform it every day eight days a week for 12 | 0:29:29 | 0:29:32
months with a happy smile on your face. Eight days a week. I've never | 0:29:33 | 0:29:40
done theatre before. I come from a pop background. What is a standing | 0:29:41 | 0:29:46
ovation like in a place like this? Best feeling ever. Do you get roses | 0:29:47 | 0:29:58
thrown at you? You do a bow. After rehearsing, the guys get a chance to | 0:29:59 | 0:30:01
tour the theatre and two of the young stars lead the way. | 0:30:02 | 0:30:07
Come over here, we'll show you some stuff. This is the guitar vault. | 0:30:08 | 0:30:13
While the kids rock out, Jonnie's previous day job selling ice-cream | 0:30:14 | 0:30:17
in theatre foyers is playing on his mind. | 0:30:18 | 0:30:23
I really wanna be on stage so that when I walk past the ice-cream I | 0:30:24 | 0:30:30
feel a bit sick. Getting weird energy. Conner is still soaking up | 0:30:31 | 0:30:38
his experience of the stage. This is massive. With the final the only | 0:30:39 | 0:30:43
thing standing in Drive's way, star of School of Rock, David Finn | 0:30:44 | 0:30:47
explains how he handles the pressure of a big night. Break it down song | 0:30:48 | 0:30:52
by song. If my voice is tired I'm just like OK I just need to get | 0:30:53 | 0:30:56
through this song and then I'm through to the next one, that helps | 0:30:57 | 0:31:00
you with it being so overwhelming. It's not necessarily about nailing | 0:31:01 | 0:31:04
every line, telling the story is the most important thing. It's team | 0:31:05 | 0:31:08
work, that sounds crazy but it is. That's the best thing I've heard, | 0:31:09 | 0:31:11
it's about a team. Coming to the theatre has brought it home to me, | 0:31:12 | 0:31:14
this is 100% what I want to do, this is real, this could be us. | 0:31:15 | 0:31:23
# I saw my problems and I'll see the light. | 0:31:24 | 0:31:26
# We got a lovin' thing, we gotta feed it right. | 0:31:27 | 0:31:30
# There ain't no danger we can go too far. | 0:31:31 | 0:31:35
# We start believin' now that we can be who we are, grease is the word. | 0:31:36 | 0:31:42
# They think our love is just a growin' pain. | 0:31:43 | 0:31:45
# Their lips are lyin', only real is real. | 0:31:46 | 0:31:54
# We stop the fight right now, we got to be what we feel, | 0:31:55 | 0:31:58
# It's got a groove, it's got a meaning. | 0:31:59 | 0:32:07
# Grease is the time, is the place, is the motion. | 0:32:08 | 0:32:11
# This is a life of illusion, a life of control. | 0:32:12 | 0:32:24
# Mixed with confusion, what're we doin' here? | 0:32:25 | 0:32:28
# We take the pressure, and we throw away conventionality, | 0:32:29 | 0:32:32
# There is a chance that we can make it so far. | 0:32:33 | 0:32:39
# We start believin' now that we can be who we are, grease is the word. | 0:32:40 | 0:32:48
# Grease is the time, is the place, is the motion. | 0:32:49 | 0:32:55
# Grease is the time, is the place, is the motion. | 0:32:56 | 0:33:18
Let's hear it for Conor, Jazzie, Jonnie, Mark and Matt. | 0:33:19 | 0:33:42
Congratulations. Great job. | 0:33:43 | 0:33:55
Your friends and family are having a great time up there. | 0:33:56 | 0:33:59
Dannii, you guys kept these five together last week. | 0:34:00 | 0:34:12
They have proven they have got this together, in two weeks they have had | 0:34:13 | 0:34:25
one week to pull this together, I did 66 shows of that in Australia | 0:34:26 | 0:34:29
and we got to rehearse for one month. Well done! | 0:34:30 | 0:34:31
APPLAUSE Martin, looking very statesman-like | 0:34:32 | 0:34:51
Danny Zuko! And maybe you could be sandy? Me? | 0:34:52 | 0:34:58
APPLAUSE This was your best performance by a | 0:34:59 | 0:35:10
mile! Congratulations! Peter, are you a fan? Grease is the word and I | 0:35:11 | 0:35:18
have a word, and I know this is live but it is the F word. Fantastic! | 0:35:19 | 0:35:21
APPLAUSE Gary, that's the last musical | 0:35:22 | 0:35:28
theatre performance, but there's the pop ballad | 0:35:29 | 0:35:30
still to come from Drive. Everything they already have done, | 0:35:31 | 0:35:44
these boys have had an amazing competition, they had been broken up | 0:35:45 | 0:35:49
and put into a new band, in the bottom two last week. This business | 0:35:50 | 0:35:53
is about getting back up and keep fighting. And you have done that. | 0:35:54 | 0:36:00
APPLAUSE Thank you, judges. | 0:36:01 | 0:36:02
If Drive got your hearts racing and you want to see them in that | 0:36:03 | 0:36:11
touring musical then vote for them later on. | 0:36:12 | 0:36:13
One member of Nightfall did not even apply, Julius was nominated by his | 0:36:14 | 0:37:12
friend to audition. Gary surprised me in London. Will you audition for | 0:37:13 | 0:37:22
us? Yes! Good job I did not say no! The reaction from me was | 0:37:23 | 0:37:25
unbelievable, I could not ask for anything better. That was the first | 0:37:26 | 0:37:32
time I ever allowed myself to show everybody what I was capable of | 0:37:33 | 0:37:41
doing. Not everything went to plan for the boys. Danny was struck down | 0:37:42 | 0:37:49
with tonsillitis. I was quite ill, I was on scared and quite scared. You | 0:37:50 | 0:38:04
are far from your best. Originally, when we were put together, I was | 0:38:05 | 0:38:09
thinking about the moment but I did not think we would get this far. To | 0:38:10 | 0:38:16
make it into The Band was crazy. The first performance as Nightfall was a | 0:38:17 | 0:38:21
very special moment for me because it showed us that we could | 0:38:22 | 0:38:30
releasing. -- really sing. I never thought I would make it that far and | 0:38:31 | 0:38:34
I made to the live finals, could not ask for better guys to be doing this | 0:38:35 | 0:38:42
with. Get off! Watching their journey makes me so proud. We have | 0:38:43 | 0:38:49
grown so much in the past month, and every single day together. We give | 0:38:50 | 0:38:54
each other positive energy, we pick a job up, all of those experiences | 0:38:55 | 0:38:58
come together and I think we have a good shot. We want this! | 0:38:59 | 0:39:03
APPLAUSE # How could you love me | 0:39:04 | 0:39:12
and leave me and never. # Girl, each time I try | 0:39:13 | 0:39:38
I just break down and cry. # This time I want you | 0:39:39 | 0:39:52
to love me much more. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE | 0:39:53 | 0:41:36
Wow! Nightfall, everybody. Beautiful. | 0:41:37 | 0:41:45
Well done. Martin, I have got chills and their | 0:41:46 | 0:41:57
multiplying... Sorry! Martin, you know your way | 0:41:58 | 0:42:03
around a pop ballad. This is what they do best. These | 0:42:04 | 0:42:12
boys are vocally the best in this competition. I want to wish you luck | 0:42:13 | 0:42:20
with the public vote because you have set this competition and light! | 0:42:21 | 0:42:31
-- alight. What did you think of them? Fantastic, that. The licensee? | 0:42:32 | 0:42:42
I would pay twice for that kind of entertainment! -- licensee. That bit | 0:42:43 | 0:42:53
Blue Planet to shine. Jason was crying! | 0:42:54 | 0:42:56
Gary, tonight you've seen Nightfall go from upbeat to ballad. | 0:42:57 | 0:42:59
Brilliantly. I must say, this is the point in the competition to land | 0:43:00 | 0:43:10
your best performance. We just saw that right there. Absolutely | 0:43:11 | 0:43:22
brilliant. Dannii? It was everything we wanted. That song, for me, if you | 0:43:23 | 0:43:29
listen to that over and over, it means so much, you cannot mess that | 0:43:30 | 0:43:35
up. You all delivered, you were shining. Honestly. | 0:43:36 | 0:43:40
Do you want it to be Nightfall's night? | 0:43:41 | 0:43:42
If the answer is yes, then you can vote for them later on. | 0:43:43 | 0:43:45
You have done all you can. Well done. | 0:43:46 | 0:44:03
Who wants to be wooed with another ballad? | 0:44:04 | 0:44:09
If music be the food of love, prepare for a five course banquet. | 0:44:10 | 0:44:13
Any chance of a prawn cocktail to start? | 0:44:14 | 0:44:23
Five To Five have avoided having to sing for survival. But will their | 0:44:24 | 0:44:29
friendship and youthful energy get them to the finish line? The first | 0:44:30 | 0:44:35
edition was nerve wracking. We would just like students. I'm doing | 0:44:36 | 0:44:40
physics, mathematics and Theatre studies. I am currently restoring | 0:44:41 | 0:44:45
classic cars. I Amatrice surgeon, doing this during my gap year. What | 0:44:46 | 0:44:50
if you get this job? That is going out the window! My mother was very | 0:44:51 | 0:44:58
over the top when I got through. She is the cutest thing! What if you | 0:44:59 | 0:45:04
win? I am scared! Performing with Olly Murs was fantastic, you can't | 0:45:05 | 0:45:08
Take That with you forever. And for Nick. My name is Nick, nice to meet | 0:45:09 | 0:45:19
you! Why would I say my name? That is funny! I did have tonsillitis | 0:45:20 | 0:45:28
during the performance, he to me to one side, don't worry, which was | 0:45:29 | 0:45:31
really nice because I was quite down. He did! It felt amazing | 0:45:32 | 0:45:39
because we wanted to be on the live show and we did not want this | 0:45:40 | 0:45:43
experience to end. My first experience with these boys, | 0:45:44 | 0:45:46
rehearsing and living with them, I have made friends for life. That was | 0:45:47 | 0:45:54
nice! Allegedly! The first performance was fun and energetic, | 0:45:55 | 0:45:58
don't tell her about it, that was more classy. The choreography and | 0:45:59 | 0:46:05
the harmonies were difficult. You were unreal. I want to be in this | 0:46:06 | 0:46:13
band but I am too old! He is never too old. Gary can join us any day! | 0:46:14 | 0:46:20
This is a final, this is our time to shine, we have to give it | 0:46:21 | 0:46:21
everything. Let's do it! # We clawed, we chained, | 0:46:22 | 0:46:31
our hearts in vain. # We kissed, I fell | 0:46:32 | 0:46:34
under your spell. # Don't you ever say | 0:46:35 | 0:46:42
I just walked away. # I can't live a lie, | 0:46:43 | 0:46:50
running for my life. # All I wanted was | 0:46:51 | 0:46:59
to break your walls. # And now, we're | 0:47:00 | 0:47:13
ashes on the ground. # Don't you ever say | 0:47:14 | 0:47:34
I just walked away. # I can't live a lie, | 0:47:35 | 0:47:37
running for my life. # All I wanted was | 0:47:38 | 0:47:42
to break your walls. # Yeah, I just closed | 0:47:43 | 0:47:50
my eyes and swung. # Left me crouching | 0:47:51 | 0:47:57
in a blaze and fall. # All I wanted was | 0:47:58 | 0:47:59
to break your walls. Sub | 0:48:00 | 0:48:33
APPLAUSE. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE. | 0:48:34 | 0:49:03
Wow. Five To Five, well done, guys. You did it! Well done. | 0:49:04 | 0:49:07
CHANTING. This is so hard. If you are at home | 0:49:08 | 0:49:24
and you like one of these bands phone, you've got to call, don't be | 0:49:25 | 0:49:28
complaining if the band you like didn't get through. This is the | 0:49:29 | 0:49:32
winning stage. Dannii, what have you got to say to the guys? You guys are | 0:49:33 | 0:49:37
in a bubble in your own zone and we all want to be there with you. What | 0:49:38 | 0:49:40
you do is you simply make people come to the edge of their seat and | 0:49:41 | 0:49:43
the next thing is, they're up like this. Well done! Martin? You have | 0:49:44 | 0:49:55
confidence, passion, charisma and friendship. I want to say thank you | 0:49:56 | 0:49:59
so much for letting us share that. Go on, Martin! | 0:50:00 | 0:50:12
I want some more of that. Coming up, it's Casualty, it's the same episode | 0:50:13 | 0:50:20
every week, I want more of this. I'll tell you what, lads, if you | 0:50:21 | 0:50:24
continue your cards right, you could be singing in holt bi-City in | 0:50:25 | 0:50:27
another three years, I'll tell you now. -- Holby City. That's enough, | 0:50:28 | 0:50:39
that's enough! Are you giving Five To Five ten out of ten for that | 0:50:40 | 0:50:44
performance? If so, details are on screen. The vote will open very | 0:50:45 | 0:50:51
soon. High fives all round for Five To Five! | 0:50:52 | 0:50:55
Time for our next band with their romantic ballad. | 0:50:56 | 0:51:03
It's Drive. It's been a long and winding road for Drive. With nothing | 0:51:04 | 0:51:10
to lose, are they stronger than ever? When I did the first audition, | 0:51:11 | 0:51:15
that was the first time that any of my family ever seen me perform. I | 0:51:16 | 0:51:19
don't know what that expression is on your mother's face. She's my | 0:51:20 | 0:51:28
favourite person, my biggest fan. I miss the entrance, watch it back, I | 0:51:29 | 0:51:33
walk into the post. I have a confession. I had a rip up my bum. | 0:51:34 | 0:51:50
Kaiser Chiefs performed with the boys. You get that first sense of | 0:51:51 | 0:51:53
bandness don't you, I grew up listening to them. It was awesome. | 0:51:54 | 0:51:59
They made it to the live show as a band. Conor and Matt were in | 0:52:00 | 0:52:05
Neonpanda. Both groups collided after they both sang again. Drive | 0:52:06 | 0:52:09
lost two members, but gained Conor and Matt. We came together as a new | 0:52:10 | 0:52:14
band and it was a case of walking in and going, right, bang, let's get it | 0:52:15 | 0:52:19
done. It's such a laugh from day one and we all feel really at home in | 0:52:20 | 0:52:23
this group. # Girls on film... # | 0:52:24 | 0:52:29
Natural reaction, you touch his hair and he goes like that. It's all fun | 0:52:30 | 0:52:33
and games until you are back in the sing-off. This time against Iron | 0:52:34 | 0:52:42
Son. The boys were looking at another break-up until this | 0:52:43 | 0:52:46
happened. The relief of making it as a band together to final was | 0:52:47 | 0:52:50
amazing. Not having the smoothest ride makes you even stronger. We are | 0:52:51 | 0:52:55
not going through all that to lose. We are going to give it everything | 0:52:56 | 0:52:58
we have. We have to Drive to it the end and take it home. | 0:52:59 | 0:53:08
# When your legs don't work like they used to before. | 0:53:09 | 0:53:11
# And I can't sweep you off of your feet. | 0:53:12 | 0:53:13
# Will your mouth still remember the taste of my love. | 0:53:14 | 0:53:17
# Will your eyes still smile from your cheeks. | 0:53:18 | 0:53:20
# And darling I will be loving you 'til we're 70. | 0:53:21 | 0:53:24
# And baby my heart could still fall as hard at 23. | 0:53:25 | 0:53:31
# And I'm thinking 'bout how people fall in love in mysterious ways. | 0:53:32 | 0:53:36
# Oh, me, I fall in love with you every single day. | 0:53:37 | 0:53:48
# Kiss me under the light of a thousand stars. | 0:53:49 | 0:54:20
# Place your head on my beating heart. | 0:54:21 | 0:54:24
# Maybe we found love right where we are. | 0:54:25 | 0:54:35
# When my hair's all but gone and my memory fades. | 0:54:36 | 0:55:00
# And I'm thinking 'bout how people fall in love in mysterious ways. | 0:55:01 | 0:55:04
# Oh, me, I fall in love with you every single day. | 0:55:05 | 0:55:08
# That maybe we found love right where we are. | 0:55:09 | 0:55:26
Come on down, guys. Well done. Well done. You've done all you can. | 0:55:27 | 0:55:45
You've done all you can. That's it. Now, compose. Gary? Thoughts? | 0:55:46 | 0:55:52
Listen, guys, I think I'm always going to have notes for you vocally. | 0:55:53 | 0:56:01
There lots of tying up still to do, but within this group the personal | 0:56:02 | 0:56:06
tying up has been amazing. You have had an amazing competition and I | 0:56:07 | 0:56:10
want to say thank you for coming and auditioning for us, we've really | 0:56:11 | 0:56:16
enjoyed you. Dan Dannii, final words for Drive? You brought the nnch that | 0:56:17 | 0:56:22

APPLAUSE That was amazing! | 1:07:45 | 1:07:51
Ball and Boe, that was incredible and a special thanks | 1:07:52 | 1:07:54
I am not going to lie. I am quite overcome! Europe boys -- you were | 1:07:55 | 1:08:14
both moistening up! Does that happen every time? With the memories of | 1:08:15 | 1:08:20
doing the show, it always gets me. And you have great fun working | 1:08:21 | 1:08:27
together? Oh, no! Is a dreadful? We literally do not speak! We love that | 1:08:28 | 1:08:43
you share that with us! I love you! All right! | 1:08:44 | 1:08:50
Michael, you're a veteran of the West End from Aspects of Love | 1:08:51 | 1:08:53
What is the best advice to give? Just take care of yourself! I hope | 1:08:54 | 1:09:10
the boys are listening. Michael Ball and Alfie Boe! | 1:09:11 | 1:09:21
APPLAUSE They are standing! | 1:09:22 | 1:09:25
Right, while we all recover from that incredible performance, | 1:09:26 | 1:09:28
shall we see what happened when we locked Gary, Dannii | 1:09:29 | 1:09:30
They have been at a desk for eight weeks so to celebrate the final we | 1:09:31 | 1:09:43
give the judges are so far to relive some of their favourite moments from | 1:09:44 | 1:09:48
the conditions. This has been one year in the making. Platelet! Martin | 1:09:49 | 1:09:51
Kemp! APPLAUSE | 1:09:52 | 1:09:57
This is amazing, I remember the first time I walked out there, it | 1:09:58 | 1:10:01
was like being back in The Band! Gary Barlow! When Gary Barlow | 1:10:02 | 1:10:08
arrives! I have never seen women just look above the judging desk! It | 1:10:09 | 1:10:25
does wonders! How deep is that? He sang through his fingertips. Take my | 1:10:26 | 1:10:34
four as a very good four. We know what he is scoring! You are finding | 1:10:35 | 1:10:40
your stride! That was the first show. I have got it, now! Hercules! | 1:10:41 | 1:10:54
So intense. You could hear the pain in his vocal chords, but standing. | 1:10:55 | 1:11:04
At the moment, I work in a department store selling perfume to | 1:11:05 | 1:11:07
rich customers. What are you selling today? You are looking for something | 1:11:08 | 1:11:13
elegant, sophisticated, Martin wants something quite wooden. I know that | 1:11:14 | 1:11:21
I was in Eastenders for a while! I love this. I love that dancing | 1:11:22 | 1:11:28
because I watch this with my son and he adores dancing. Especially break | 1:11:29 | 1:11:33
dancing. Incredible. Those were the days! More breaking than dancing | 1:11:34 | 1:11:41
night! I wanted you to sign so great! I would have married you. | 1:11:42 | 1:11:48
Amber was great, I am so glad we got her. Great fun. # The conversation | 1:11:49 | 1:11:58
has run dry. They are more nervous and anxious than the people on | 1:11:59 | 1:12:04
stage. You're not wrong, look at what happened whenever they got | 1:12:05 | 1:12:05
through! It is not just friends and family | 1:12:06 | 1:12:21
who gave good reactions. I have never seen her at loss for words | 1:12:22 | 1:12:27
until he came on. I didn't remember what you asked the! The same old | 1:12:28 | 1:12:33
thing. He sang, what do you think? When it comes to getting lost in the | 1:12:34 | 1:12:36
action, the Silver Fox was pure gold! It is great when it is not | 1:12:37 | 1:12:51
you! Martin! These are brilliant. Now, let's see all of Gary's | 1:12:52 | 1:13:01
reactions. Sorry, guys. Zero! Emotion? Zero. I am sure you are | 1:13:02 | 1:13:13
just looping the same shot? I would remember for next time. Poker face! | 1:13:14 | 1:13:20
We're just minutes away from that exclusive Take That performance | 1:13:21 | 1:13:23
and revealing who has won Let It Shine. | 1:13:24 | 1:13:27
Remember, the vote is only open for just over 5 more minutes, | 1:13:28 | 1:13:30
so make sure you get behind your favourite band | 1:13:31 | 1:13:32
If you still haven't voted, what are you waiting for? | 1:13:33 | 1:13:37
Here's a little reminder of all of our performances earlier tonight. | 1:13:38 | 1:13:56

Nightfall! We have Five To Five! And we have | 1:15:51 | 1:15:54
Drive. Before we chat, over | 1:15:55 | 1:16:01
the last few weeks you've picked up a few fans, | 1:16:02 | 1:16:03
including this one from Right, guys, James cordon here, | 1:16:04 | 1:16:15
Gary's been keeping me up-to-date with your before manslaughters, I | 1:16:16 | 1:16:19
wanted to say best of luck, I know you performed with Take That last | 1:16:20 | 1:16:23
week which has made me incredibly jealous. Best of luck, I can't wait | 1:16:24 | 1:16:29
to see who makes it in the show, you have all been stars, best of luck. | 1:16:30 | 1:16:31
Bye! Julius, you're the only boy | 1:16:32 | 1:16:33
left who was surprised What do you want to say | 1:16:34 | 1:16:40
to Omari, who nominated you? I would like to say thank you Omari | 1:16:41 | 1:16:50
for this opportunity. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE. | 1:16:51 | 1:16:55
Lovely. Enough said. Five To Five, you've literally been | 1:16:56 | 1:16:59
doing everything together Living together, rehearsing | 1:17:00 | 1:17:03
together, everything. What's been the best thing | 1:17:04 | 1:17:09
about this experience? It's just kind of being able to meet | 1:17:10 | 1:17:18
five different boys from different walks of life that I never would | 1:17:19 | 1:17:21
have met if I hadn't have been in the show and I think I've grown | 1:17:22 | 1:17:25
mature as a person and learnt so much from them. | 1:17:26 | 1:17:27
CHEERING AND APPLAUSE. You have been together in this | 1:17:28 | 1:17:43
formation for only two weeks. How've you bonded? To be fair, we've bonded | 1:17:44 | 1:17:50
because literally, like, we're real friends. I hope it shows in our | 1:17:51 | 1:17:59
performing. We have pulled it together, that's how strong it goes. | 1:18:00 | 1:18:02
It's not long until we find out which one of you has | 1:18:03 | 1:18:07
Let's hear it for Nightfall, Five To Five and Drive! | 1:18:08 | 1:18:24
There's just a couple of minutes left to vote and then it won't be | 1:18:25 | 1:18:28
long until we reveal which five boys have won that life-changing prize. | 1:18:29 | 1:18:30
But first, let's find out what awaits the winning band. | 1:18:31 | 1:18:37
We've seen them sing and dance to stay in the competition, but for the | 1:18:38 | 1:18:43
boys, the hard work doesn't stop there. They'll be thrown straight | 1:18:44 | 1:18:47
into rehearsals for their role in new touring musical The Band. The | 1:18:48 | 1:18:53
show is codirected by Jack Ryder. Tonight, The Band is going to be | 1:18:54 | 1:18:56
chosen and they are going to tour with us for a whole year. The music | 1:18:57 | 1:19:00
is going to be an absolute belter. The story is about the lives of five | 1:19:01 | 1:19:05
16-year-old girls and the band supply the sound track to their | 1:19:06 | 1:19:10
lives. They'll be on stage eight shows a week for one year. So what | 1:19:11 | 1:19:16
is life going to be like as part of an all-singing, all-dancing musical? | 1:19:17 | 1:19:19
Being in a stage show that's going to tour becomes your life. Eight | 1:19:20 | 1:19:25
shows a week is athletic. They are going to be performing 14 songs in | 1:19:26 | 1:19:29
one evening. On a Wednesday, they'll have two shows so they'll perform 28 | 1:19:30 | 1:19:34
songs in that one day. They have to hit every single beat of this | 1:19:35 | 1:19:38
production with absolute precision. It involves choreography, you have | 1:19:39 | 1:19:42
to sing at the same time, you've got to be fit. Certainly for these lads, | 1:19:43 | 1:19:48
it's going to be a phenomenal life-changing experience. | 1:19:49 | 1:19:58
I've just recently done it. I always felt that the Performers save their | 1:19:59 | 1:20:05
energy for the second show. But that's not true. By the time the | 1:20:06 | 1:20:08
second show comes around in the evening you are completely | 1:20:09 | 1:20:12
knackered. You have to look after your body, your voice and your mind. | 1:20:13 | 1:20:15
The buzz of theatre is that it's live. It's one take. Every time you | 1:20:16 | 1:20:20
step on a stage, the audience need to feel like it's your very first | 1:20:21 | 1:20:25
performance. You are right there and you have a thousand people staring | 1:20:26 | 1:20:30
right at you. You want to see them smiling, laughing, crying. And you | 1:20:31 | 1:20:33
know what, when you do that and when you do it well, there's nothing that | 1:20:34 | 1:20:35
can top that in the entire world. Put down your phone, | 1:20:36 | 1:20:40
step away from your laptops because the vote is, | 1:20:41 | 1:20:44
cue dramatic pause... Please do not try and vote as it | 1:20:45 | 1:20:46
won't count and you may be charged. Now, you're probably wondering | 1:20:47 | 1:20:50
where the judges have gone. Graham is getting a loose permanent. | 1:20:51 | 1:21:05
There's water dripping in here. My goodness. I hope it doesn't turn | 1:21:06 | 1:21:12
into a... Flood. Nightmare for loose perms. | 1:21:13 | 1:21:23

First up, Howard, we have to say congratulations | 1:25:23 | 1:26:58
on the birth of your baby son, Dougie Bear Donald. | 1:26:59 | 1:27:05
He is doing good, as you can tell by the bags under my eyes. You look | 1:27:06 | 1:27:31
great. Great. Robbie, what is it like being back with the lads? It | 1:27:32 | 1:27:34
was and always is very emotional, seeing what it means to everybody. | 1:27:35 | 1:27:39
Incredible. Very emotional. Proper tears. Only because I'm on telly | 1:27:40 | 1:27:44
that I'm not welling up. I'm go back to the dressing room and go boo-hoo. | 1:27:45 | 1:27:50
Mark, you've been watching our boys from the start, what do you think | 1:27:51 | 1:27:53
What do you make of them? We have got to know them quite well. I feel | 1:27:54 | 1:28:08
sort of forlorn now, they are all waiting for the result. I'm happy | 1:28:09 | 1:28:13
for any of them to be on our stage, to be honest. I think all of them | 1:28:14 | 1:28:17
could do it. Ladies and gentlemen, show your appreciation for Take | 1:28:18 | 1:28:20
That! CHEERING AND APPLAUSE. | 1:28:21 | 1:28:30
Thank you very much. That was absolutely epic. | 1:28:31 | 1:28:32
OK, we're only moments away from finding out which band of five | 1:28:33 | 1:28:35
boys will win that incredible role of a lifetime. | 1:28:36 | 1:28:37
But before we do, let's hear one final time from our boys. | 1:28:38 | 1:28:45
Nightfall being in the final is a dream come true. Everyone's made | 1:28:46 | 1:28:54
such great bonds. The guys are amazing. We have become close as a | 1:28:55 | 1:28:58
band and we get along so well and we are strong together. I'd never had | 1:28:59 | 1:29:03
brothers and now I have four of them. This competition's really | 1:29:04 | 1:29:06
taught me a lot. It's helped me in more ways than I can imagine. | 1:29:07 | 1:29:12
Getting the choreography right and performing for Gary Barlow has been | 1:29:13 | 1:29:16
an amazing experience. Yen Nightfall first performed together, it was the | 1:29:17 | 1:29:21
best moment of my life. Winning this competition would mean | 1:29:22 | 1:29:25
so much and that end prize of a role in the musical, it's just so close. | 1:29:26 | 1:29:34
It's literally a star away now. Two sing-offs has made us stronger, | 1:29:35 | 1:29:42
fact. It's been well deserved. We put in the bottom two, when you look | 1:29:43 | 1:29:45
at it, in a way. It's not been straightforward but I wouldn't | 1:29:46 | 1:29:49
change it. To make the band work, it needs that friendship and the fact | 1:29:50 | 1:29:52
we have clicked so well makes your life easier. You perform with your | 1:29:53 | 1:29:56
friends rather than put on an act. Everyone has a part in the band and | 1:29:57 | 1:30:00
I feel that's why the judges didn't leave anyone out. Starting to see a | 1:30:01 | 1:30:04
lot of different things with me that I didn't know before and the guys | 1:30:05 | 1:30:08
are helping me with my confidence an it's great to have that. I don't | 1:30:09 | 1:30:13
want to sell the ice-creams, I would rather live the dream in a musical | 1:30:14 | 1:30:20
eight shows a week. Please... I've never experienced anything like | 1:30:21 | 1:30:22
this before in my life and I've loved every minute of it. When I | 1:30:23 | 1:30:26
first met the Boyce we were all so different. I didn't know if we'd | 1:30:27 | 1:30:30
become as close as we have. We love each other. We are a proper group | 1:30:31 | 1:30:37
and best of friends. After the first performance of oom-bop, we felt like | 1:30:38 | 1:30:41
a band and that was magical. Performing on stage with Five To | 1:30:42 | 1:30:44
Five, I can't explain the feeling. We have worked so well together, | 1:30:45 | 1:30:47
come together and become really good friends. When on stage and the boys | 1:30:48 | 1:30:53
are behind me, I know they have my back. It's been ultimately the best | 1:30:54 | 1:30:57
experience of my life and to crown it is winners and send us on that | 1:30:58 | 1:31:00
tour would just be a dream. We're about to reveal the winner | 1:31:01 | 1:31:06
of Let it Shine, so let's welcome Now it's time to reveal, | 1:31:07 | 1:31:12
which band has won Let it Shine and will get that amazing role | 1:31:13 | 1:31:53
in the musical, The Band. This could be a career | 1:31:54 | 1:31:56
defining moment. If that star lights up, | 1:31:57 | 1:32:03
you've won that incredible prize So, for the last time, | 1:32:04 | 1:32:11
whose star will shine? Bradley, Danny, Huw, | 1:32:12 | 1:32:20
Jason and Julius from Nightfall? Or Conor, Jazzie, Jonnie, | 1:32:21 | 1:32:28
Mark and Matt from Drive? Let's hear it for the winning band. | 1:32:29 | 1:34:00

I am so happy for you, but is terrific. Obviously you are very | 1:34:35 | 1:34:47
emotional. How didn't feel standing on that star, waiting for it light | 1:34:48 | 1:34:53
up? That was the most intense moment of our entire lives. I felt like the | 1:34:54 | 1:34:58
rest of our lives was getting over that... This is it. I hope you like | 1:34:59 | 1:35:06
each other because you will be spending a lot of time with each | 1:35:07 | 1:35:23
other. Drive. And Nightfall. You are ten very fine individuals and super | 1:35:24 | 1:35:29
talented. Please tell me that you will carry on doing what you are | 1:35:30 | 1:35:40
doing? Yes? Jonnie, Jason? Everyone? This is a ludicrous question, can | 1:35:41 | 1:35:44
you put in towards how you are feeling? Just so grateful. Thank you | 1:35:45 | 1:35:54
to everyone who has voted for us. All the best. Anything you have got | 1:35:55 | 1:36:07
to say? This show has been very interesting, we started with an | 1:36:08 | 1:36:10
array of fantastic performance, we started here and the performances | 1:36:11 | 1:36:15
you have given us have been a credible, the friendships that have | 1:36:16 | 1:36:19
been made, there will be lots of tears after the show but well done, | 1:36:20 | 1:36:23

things! Let's hear it for Drive and Nightfall. | 1:36:31 | 1:36:42
Gary, this is your band. Happy? Of course! A couple of years ago they | 1:36:43 | 1:36:53
started and I closed my eyes and I wanted a great band. What we have | 1:36:54 | 1:36:56
here is an incredible band. Well done! Work tomorrow morning! You do | 1:36:57 | 1:37:05
know that? That is the thing. This is a great moment but there is a lot | 1:37:06 | 1:37:10
of work ahead? We start work tomorrow, you will be on stage with | 1:37:11 | 1:37:15
this musical in September in Manchester. Five To Five, starring | 1:37:16 | 1:37:24
in The Band, which will tour the country. During later this year. | 1:37:25 | 1:37:31
This has been an incredible series. Massive thanks to the judges, Martin | 1:37:32 | 1:37:38
Kemp, Gary Barlow, Dannii Minogue and the guest judges across the | 1:37:39 | 1:37:40
series, including Peter Kay. Singing us out in the only way | 1:37:41 | 1:37:51
they could, it's your # We've had success, good times. | 1:37:52 | 1:37:53
Remember this... # Just then I realized | 1:37:54 | 1:38:31
what a fool I could be. # Just 'cause I look so high | 1:38:32 | 1:38:34
I don't have to see me. # Finding a paradise | 1:38:35 | 1:38:37
wasn't easy but still. # There's a road going down | 1:38:38 | 1:38:39
the other side of this hill. # Never forget where | 1:38:40 | 1:38:44
you've coming from. # Someday soon this will all be | 1:38:45 | 1:38:49
someone else's dream. # Never forget where | 1:38:50 | 1:39:08
you've coming from. # Someday soon this will all be | 1:39:09 | 1:39:11
someone else's dream. | 1:39:12 | 1:39:27 |
